Chapter 154 - Chapter 118: [Dumbledore and Grindelwald, A Secret History] Narrated by Nicolas Flamel_4

Seeing Harry's conflicted expression, Mr. Leme leaned in and whispered, "Don't tell Albus, but this is actually what he wanted me to warn you about—to show you through my own experience that living forever isn't all that great... However, what I won't tell anyone else is that I still have a sufficient supply of the Elixir of Life, so if Perenelle and I wish, living another six hundred years wouldn't be a problem."

"Really?" Harry forced a smile.

"Of course it's true—Perenelle and I 'die' once every hundred years." Mr. Leme said with a chuckle, "But this is something I generally wouldn't share with just anyone."

"So don't worry too much about the Magic Stone. Even if the Elixir of Life runs out, you can release a bit of magic power to help me make more." Mr. Leme continued, "Go find Albus, child."

Since Mr. Leme said so, Harry felt relieved. It seemed he had now become a walking Magic Stone.

However, he was a bit uncertain about what to do. Should he really go back and seek the headmaster's help?

"But," Harry expressed his concern, "Professor Dumbledore personally captured Gellert, what if he doesn't trust Vivi? Or thinks she might want to seek revenge for Gellert? Or even that she might try to complete Gellert's unfinished work..."

"Don't worry, child," Mr. Leme reassured him kindly, "Albus isn't the kind of person you imagine him to be. He will help you."

Harry remained doubtful about this matter.

It wasn't that he suspected Professor Dumbledore would harm him; after all, the events of last term's end were enough to prove that Professor Dumbledore bore no malice towards him.

But what about Vivi?

Whenever something involved Vivi, Harry couldn't help but worry.

Harry forced another smile and asked, "So, Mr. Leme, do you know where I can find a Snake Monster Poison Fang?"

"I haven't seen such a thing in a long time," Mr. Leme replied honestly, "The last time I saw a Snake Monster was in 1453 in Constantinople when Constantine XI released one in a desperate attempt to stop the Ottoman attack..."

"Has it been that long?" Harry frowned, "What about the Snake Monster?"

"As soon as it emerged from the Saint Romanus Gate, it was killed by something called the Urban Giant Cannon," Mr. Leme said, adding, "However, it can't be ruled out that someone might be illegally breeding them. Some years ago, someone was arrested in Tsarist Russia for breeding a Snake Monster. It seemed a Demon Monk named Rasputin was raising it, hoping to use the snake's venom for vitality enhancement—well, you know what happened; he died."

"Was he bitten by the Snake Monster?" Harry asked.

"No, he drowned." Mr. Leme replied.

Harry opened his mouth in surprise and questioned Mr. Leme, "Drowned? How does a wizard drown?"

"He was poisoned. Ate eight cyanide-laced cakes, drank a bottle of cyanide-laced Madeira wine," Mr. Leme explained, "However, that poison wasn't enough to harm him. Yet, a Muggle shot him from behind, piercing his lung and injuring his heart... When people thought he was dead, he suddenly revived and strangled a Muggle's throat, then got shot three more times, one bullet hitting his head, yet he still didn't die."

"Then the Muggles struck his head with a piece of gym equipment called a dumbbell, which finally knocked him unconscious, and they threw him into a frozen river, where he eventually drowned while still in a coma."

Hearing this, Harry couldn't help but feel a deep sense of admiration.

This guy... was simply a legend.

"I think you should come to Hogwarts to teach History of Magic, Mr. Leme." Harry sincerely invited, "Your storytelling is far more humorous and interesting than that of Mr. Bin."

"I'm a graduate of Beauxbatons, after all, besides, Professor Bin is already at Hogwarts, and the school doesn't have to pay him a salary." Mr. Leme chuckled.

A big question mark appeared above Harry's head.

Is that even possible?

Isn't this... exploiting a ghost?

"By the way." Harry continued, suddenly noticing Pabi curled up on the ground, pretending to be invisibly transparent: "There is one more thing I'd like to ask for your help with—could you help my friend become human again?"

Mr. Leme approached Pabi, and under her pleading gaze, cast a magic spell on her head.

"I'm sorry, Harry." Mr. Leme said as he sat back down, "Even I don't have a solution for this at the moment—"

Harry felt a little dejected as he tenderly rubbed Pabi's head.

"It's okay, Harry," Pabi beamed, lifting her head energetically, "Actually, being a Unicorn isn't bad at all—just like you said, I'm going to be the first Unicorn board member at Hogwarts! Woohoo!"

Harry sighed.

"In that case, let's eat first." Mr. Leme stood up and invited Harry, "You and Miss Swedding must be hungry by now."

"Yay," Pabi cheered, "Time to eat."

Mr. Leme's wife, Perenelle Leme, looked much like Mr. Leme, both appearing frail and windblown.

Fortunately, there were four House-Elves at home to help, so there was no worry about getting things done.

Perenelle kept urging Harry to eat more, even serving him seconds twice.

Harry hadn't intended to eat so much, but seeing the elderly lady's frail appearance, he couldn't bring himself to refuse her kind gesture.
