Chapter 10 - CH. 10

Lorenzo struggled to not put another pill on his tongue and listen to it die on his taste. But, with Eunho sitting on his lap, eating strawberries, it was easier to ignore the crave. Not the blunt, though. The one getting pushed to his lips every so often. Eunho kicked his legs back and forth, calm and quiet. It had been a week since he started his heat—now it had been dumbed down and all he wanted was Lorenzo's skin and scent. So he did that.

Lorenzo's chocolatey scent sat on Eunho's stomach, thighs and neck. Something pink blowing on the lower side of his collarbone. He sighed lazily and stood up. Lorenzo's eyes stalked his movements as the omega pounced to the counter. The Japanese guy with a bloody kimono was there—nicest guy ever. He smiled as Eunho whispered something beneath the sound of Lorenzo's stomach hurling.

He grabbed another chicken nugget from the happy meal and stuffed it in his mouth.

"Thanks, sir. I'll—I'll give you a French fry, hold on." Lorenzo stalked him as he came back and forth with an iPad. He handed the Japanese guy a French fry and then turned to Lorenzo, settling back down next to him over the couch with his toes over his lap. He pulled the iPad to his chest. "What do you want to watch, baby?" He stuffed a strawberry in his mouth. Lorenzo stretched, gently massaging his ankles. "Whatever. Maybe Toy Story or Matilda. My cousin loves Matilda. But he lived in New York when he was young."

The night sky sighed for them, the warmth of the lobby was comfortable. They'd been here for around three hours. Lorenzo had came back from duties all those hours ago and about thirty minutes ago, the boss came by and said one thing; "C'è qualcuno che vorrei presentarti. È proprio come te, tesoro. Torno tra un'ora circa. Lo vado a prendere all'aeroporto di Incheon. E potete parlare." So Lorenzo was waiting for him to come back with the new person.

Anticipation raced through him; his stomach curled. He thought it'd be his mom. He hadn't seen her in a while—but, hell, he missed her cigarette scent and bluish scowl as she was always going through overdoses. She isn't a he, though. So it's not her.

Whatever. He breathed heavily and relaxed, pressing the blunt to his lips. Inhale. Exhale. She taught him when he was four or five.

"Do you want to watch Pororo? They have new episodes."

"I never watched that." Eunho looked up at him, scandalized. Then, he smiled. "I forgot. You're exotic. Let's watch..mhm. Ever heard of Annie? That little red head orphan girl? She kind of looks like you, Rennie." He giggled.

"No she doesn't!" Lorenzo laughed, shaking the omega's legs. They sobered softly and sighed, Eunho placed the tablet on the table, pushing the drugs out of the way. He moved in closer, placing the strawberry bud in the box on the table. He yawned quietly. "You tired, baby?" He whispered. I hummed, "you?"

"Yeah. I just want to cuddle you to sleep, baby."

"We can cuddle, babydoll." The alpha held out his arms patiently. Like clouds meeting thunder, he fit against Lorenzo perfectly. He purred like a kitten, his head deep in Lorenzo's neck. They watched the movie in peace, as though the room quieted just so they could. And when a cute moment happened, the entire room awed. They weren't quiet for them—they were with them. Lorenzo's hands clutching Eunho's side made them all go away. It was a rude awakening to say the least.

Until—the prettiest thing walked in. Blond hair, bowl cut like Eunho except Eunho usually wore his in pigtails now because he found it ironic. The other omega was short and small with five inch heels and a mini skirt on, tank top ice pink with lace. It was cropped. Thong popped from the sides of his waist. "Non avevo mai visto un travestito prima." Lorenzo muttered. He wasn't sure if he liked the way the omega dressed or not—not that it mattered his opinion when someone this confident walked in. His boots weren't even boots. They were super high sneakers, like he was walking on clouds.

But his stalk wasn't.

He strode like he just stepped off the latest Victoria Secret tour. His stomach was fluffy, his thighs lean and fit as he made his way into the two chairs sitting across from Eunho and Lorenzo. Lorenzo gripped Eunho's body tighter, breathing in his strawberry like it was his drug. He placed the marijuana down and stared as the other boy sat down. His eyes were wide and excessive, green. Like oceans. His hands were small, nails done and makeup beautifully—or no? Big, chunky glasses sloped over his nose bridge. His lashes were blond and so were his thick eyebrows. Lips pursed in a clipped line.

Lorenzo barely noticed the boss behind him, clutching a baby to his naked chest again. Lorenzo swallowed, tapping Eunho's shoulder desperately. The omega pulled away and looked at Lorenzo. "What's wrong, baby?"

"What the fuck is happening..?" Lorenzo whispered, clutching the thighs. Eunho tilted his head and looked back. Then, he bit his lip. "That's a boy in a skirt. Do..do you think he's attractive?"

"Is that important?"

"Yes, cause sometimes..sometimes I did that." No fucking way.

"You wear lace panties, babydoll, I don't give a shit."

"Babydoll..mhm. That's sweet," Lorenzo's fingers dug caves into Eunho's skin. He looked past the omega and saw the other one. His glasses pushed up, tongue licking his lips. The little metal barbell burned the pink. "For an alpha like you? That's romantic." The omega scoffed. He pushed his glasses up again and licked his lips again, the tongue piercing dangerous to Lorenzo. "Thanks, I think..Che mostro." Lorenzo smiled. The omega's gaze turned cold. "Parlo italiano, stronzo."

"Sorry." Lorenzo murmured.

The oldest alpha in their circle groaned as he sat down, a bandage covered his wrists and Lorenzo would like to say he's never gotten that before himself. The man held a baby with green eyes and dark hair, like maybe one year old. Wrapped in a blue puffer jacket. "Your eyes are pretty," Lorenzo stated softly. The other omega's narrowed them. "You're a blue eyed bitch—"

"No, he's not. Don't insult him, Vittorio." The boss interrupted. He placed a hand on the said Vittorio's back and the boy writhed. "He called me a freak."

"Because you're dressed like a whore, Vittorio." Lorenzo snapped. He said the name like a slur. Eunho ran his fingers through the alpha's hair, staring up. "Let's not use that language, alright? We're all family here, at the end of the day."

"You said I'd be meeting my cousin. This guy looks nothing like me," Lorenzo's fingers stilled. Cousin? Cousin? Fucking cousin? He gulped, turning to the alpha. "W-what is he talking about?"

"He's not even from here." Vittorio barked. "You aren't from here, kid." The boss grabbed his hand, holding it hostage like it was dangerous. "Look, you guys are half-brothers."

"No fuck." Lorenzo spat. The omega's face fell. He looked Lorenzo up and down. "You're fucking lying." He glared at the oreunpal.

The older man shook his head, bouncing the baby against him. "You guys have the same mom."

"Wh..what?" The tragic story of Lorenzo's father wouldn't stay silenced.

Lorenzo's father was 10 years old when Lorenzo was born. Lorenzo's father couldn't escape. Lorenzo's mother was 23. Lorenzo's mother was known for her escapades. But not the predatory behavior. When she babysat a young, pale boy named Minhyun, she grew too hungry one night. And took the only piece of life he owned—himself. Staring at their shared face was disgusting to him. He'd thrown up the night Lorenzo was born. But, he'd been the only one to love him.

Cherished the boy until he found out—he wasn't the only one. Lifeless, he found himself locked in a closet, writing letters for both his children. His daughter, his son. Spending as much money as he can on that little boy because he sees it too. He knows she's dead. He knows Liliana won't live for long. But Lorenzo is different. Lorenzo doesn't see the force, he doesn't see the drugs. He loves it—he takes it. He listens to whatever he's being told. And he'll go to live on.

"Fuck off." Lorenzo spat. He couldn't..he clutched Eunho closer, eyes watering. "Isn't my mom in jail? Eh-she only had my sister and I."

"No, kiddo. She didn't. Because your father was my best friend."
