With the eight Blues gone, Evergreen finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"Takeshi, you truly are a heartless man, not even saving your own woman."
Takeshi turned around, his right index and middle fingers intertwined, clearly maintaining a stance ready to activate his Domain Expansion at any moment.
"Ah—!"
Evergreen quickly shielded her body, then realized that Takeshi was currently blindfolded.
"You should be grateful. If there had been any sign of magic converging in your eyes just now, in 0.01 seconds, I would have activated my domain, interrupted your spell, and then let Blue devour you entirely."
Evergreen's expression stiffened upon hearing Takeshi's words, and cold sweat once again covered her entire face. Only then did she realize that he had never intended to give up on saving them.
If she had truly harbored thoughts of killing Mirajane and the others, not only would Mirajane and the others have been unharmed, but she herself would have been absolutely doomed.
She didn't think Takeshi was bluffing. She had truly experienced his strength this time, and it was clear she couldn't contend with him.

A figure appeared in the Guild.
"The game isn't over yet, old man."
"Laxus!"
The figure that had appeared was Laxus. Several people glared at him angrily.
"It's a thought projection!"
Makarov angrily shouted at Laxus, "Laxus! The hostages are gone, who would want to play this boring game with you anymore?! Come back obediently and accept your punishment!"
Laxus said, "After all, the opponent was Takeshi. I had already anticipated Evergreen's defeat, but I didn't expect her to lose so quickly, so I had already made an extra preparation. Now it will come in handy."

"Since you won't give it, I'll just have to take it. Announce loudly to the entire town using the Guild's loudspeaker that you're handing over the Guild Master position to Laxus, and then this grand brawl can end."
Makarov immediately refused, "Impossible! I already passed the position to Takeshi. If it weren't for that kid's refusal, Takeshi would already be the Guild Master."

Everyone went outside the Guild, only to see many spherical magic crystals slowly floating into the sky. Each magic crystal was filled with powerful lightning magic, and these magic crystals formed a circle in the sky, surrounding the entire city.
Makarov's eyes widened, and he angrily shouted, "Thunder Palace?! What are you thinking, Laxus?! Are you going to involve innocent people?!"
"Ugh!"
Makarov suddenly felt a tightening in his chest, and a sharp pain shot from his heart.
"Master?!!"
"What's wrong?!!"
"Oh no!! The medicine I've been taking!"
Mirajane quickly ran upstairs.
Makarov, his face contorted in pain, collapsed to the ground.
"Master, pull yourself together!"

Freed stood behind Laxus, asking with a solemn expression, "Must it come to this?"
Laxus said with a distorted face, "I didn't want to go this far, but that old man forced me to."
