Chapter 302 - Chapter 302: New Universe Supreme Kai, Want a Game?

"Forget it, forget it, whoever you are is fine." Rumshii waved his hand, an impatient look appearing on his face, completely losing interest in Quitela's true identity.

Sidra silently nodded, seemingly agreeing with Rumshii's statement.

"By the way, Sidra, what did you come to me for?" Rumshii turned his head to ask, his tone returning to its usual casualness, blinking with a smile.

"That game we didn't finish last time, we should continue it now." Sidra snorted, a hint of unwillingness in his tone.

"Hmph, haven't you lost enough yet?" Rumshii grinned, showing a triumphant expression as if victory was already assured.

"I won't lose to you! This time I'll wipe the floor with you!" Sidra grumbled, clenching his fists tightly, the muscles on his arms slightly bulging.

"Then, shall we begin?" Rumshii said, lightly waving his hand, a seemingly casual motion carrying an undeniable force.

"Snap!"

With a light sound, a game board and four game pieces materialized on the spot, suspended in midair.

Soya looked at the board, immediately covered his face, his expression full of helplessness and the urge to laugh and cry at the same time.

Damn it...

Isn't this the 'Jump in the Well' game?

Simply put, the board is a square, with one of the middle sides not drawn, and a circle drawn to represent a well.

Then, each side tries to force the other into having no moves left except jumping into the well; whoever succeeds wins.

Soya originally thought the game these two Destroyers were playing would be some profound, inscrutable chess.

And it's just this?

"This time I go first, right?" Sidra chuckled, a sly expression appearing on his face, directly moving the piece on the right forward one step.

Rumshii's eyes widened, showing a look of astonishment, as if he couldn't believe his eyes.

Lost already?

"Hahaha, you lost!" Sidra laughed wildly, his laughter filled with glee.

"Again!" Rumshii gritted his teeth, clenching his fists tightly, his knuckles turning white, his face full of refusal to admit defeat.

Soya didn't want to speak anymore.

Are you serious about this 'again'?

At the start of this game, aren't you not allowed to move the right piece?

Blocking your path directly from the start, how the hell are you supposed to play?

The game continued.

Sidra repeated the same method, winning the second round as well.

"Strange... why can't I win anymore?" Rumshii shook his elephant trunk, his nose twitching involuntarily, a look of displeasure on his face.

The corner of Soya's mouth twitched, his eyes filled with speechlessness.

After a brief daze, Soya decided to stop watching.

"Let's go." Soya didn't want to play with these two seemingly silly fellows anymore, calling out to Raditz and the others.

"How do you play this game? It looks very profound." Nappa stepped forward, exclaiming with curiosity.

Supreme Kai Gowasu merely smiled, stroking his beard, not saying a word, but a glint of understanding flashed in his eyes.

Sometimes, the games between Destroyers are just this simple.

Soya: "..."

However, just as Soya and the others were about to leave.

"Hey, that new universe's Supreme Kai, you wait a moment!" Sidra spoke up, his tone carrying an undeniable command.

"Uh." Soya halted his steps.

"Come over here and keep count, how many games have I won in total?" Sidra ordered in a commanding tone, his chin slightly raised, carrying the arrogance of a Destroyer.

Soya's face darkened.

You're really just making trouble for no reason.

Wouldn't it be easier to just draw lines on the ground for this kind of thing?

"Isn't it more convenient for you to draw lines on the ground?" Soya pointed to the ground, a hint of perfunctoriness in his tone.

"I told you to keep count, so keep count. As a mighty Destroyer, is it too much to ask for a scorekeeper?" Sidra snorted, even rolling his eyes at Soya, looking utterly justified.

Soya's face darkened further.

So you think it's more fun to embed a few more Destroyers into the walls of the flying cube, right?

Why are you bothering me for no reason?

"What? Not convinced? If you're not convinced, come over here, let's play!" Sidra grumbled, looking at Soya with a provocative gaze full of fighting spirit.

"If you put it that way, then I won't be polite." Soya chuckled lightly, a gleam flashing in his eyes, and stepped forward.

"Come on, I like your unyielding attitude!" Sidra immediately became interested, leaning his body slightly forward, adopting a posture ready for battle.

"Damn it, I've already lost 6 games!" Rumshii gritted his teeth, feeling somewhat annoyed, saying angrily.

"Let me take over." Soya suggested calmly.

"Fine! You take over! I need to think about how to break this situation first." Rumshii nodded, scratching his head with his elephant trunk, so angry that wisps of white steam came out of his nostrils.

Soya: "..."

Soya sat down in Rumshii's spot, his posture composed.

"Good, you're quite bold, daring to play chess with me?" Sidra snorted, smiling smugly as if he already saw Soya losing the game.

"Me first?" Soya suggested, his gaze falling on the board.

"You first then." Sidra showed no fear at all, waved his hand grandly, signaling Soya to begin.

Soya directly placed the piece on the left side up, accurately blocking the path completely.

Sidra: "..."

Sidra's eyes widened, his pupils slightly contracting, showing a look of astonishment as if he had been petrified.

Lost already?

Sidra scratched his ears and cheeks, his face turning red, like a wronged child.

"Negative emotional value from Sidra +999!"

"Wahahaha!" Rumshii immediately laughed wildly, rocking back and forth, extremely happy.

"Doesn't count, doesn't count, I wasn't ready yet." Sidra gritted his teeth, his cheeks puffed up like buns.

"Then let's continue." Soya chuckled happily, a hint of teasing in his eyes.

"Continue!" Sidra clenched his fists, his knuckles cracking, his tone full of unwillingness.

"Are you ready this time?" Soya asked with a smile, a hint of teasing in his tone.

Sidra took a full minute to prepare, took a deep breath, then nodded, indicating he was ready.

Soya once again placed the left piece up, his movements crisp and decisive.

Sidra's eyes bulged, his complexion changing repeatedly, from red to green, then from green to black.

"Negative emotional value from Sidra +999!"

How did I lose again?

"Wahahaha!" Rumshii became even happier, mocking from the side, "Sidra, you're no good, you've lost two games in a row."

Sidra: "..."

Sidra ground his teeth in anger, his teeth chattering.

I actually lost to a mere Supreme Kai.

Isn't that embarrassing for me?

"Destruction!"

Sidra flew into a rage, the destructive energy within him instantly erupting, a flash of destructive energy in his hand, directly obliterating the game board and pieces completely, fragments flying.

Soya: "..."

How much of a sore loser are you?

"We're not playing this anymore!" Sidra snorted, his anger not yet subsided, "Change it!"
