It was already dark outside after they finished eating.
"Mengyao, are you staying over at my place tonight?" Lin Chen asked.
Xu Mengyao shook her head. "The driver's here to pick me up. You take Xiaoxi back, and drive carefully."
"Okay."
Lin Chen nodded.
He didn't push it.
His relationship with Xu Mengyao would develop naturally. He was a man, so he would take a slightly more active role, but since the Xu family was so wealthy, he couldn't be too aggressive in his pursuit.
And he wasn't the most proactive person, either.
"Mom, see you tomorrow."
Lin Xiaoxi waved her little hand goodbye to Xu Mengyao.
"Beep beep!"
Back home, Xu Mengyao's dad called her via video.
It was morning in America.
"Dad."
