If she had looked like this from the start, Ethan might have agreed to a "session." But now? He would take her as a trophy. She wanted him as a tool; he would have her as a cauldron for his cultivation.
Katereia was a "spiteful mare." Realizing she was outmatched, she tried to trigger a self-destruction spell to take him with her.
"Leiya-chan, don't be so dramatic," Ethan said, pummeling her until she coughed blood. "Is this your first time? If so, I can be gentle."
Katereia, a high-born Devil, understood the double entendre. She was indeed a virgin, but she'd never admit it under these circumstances. Ethan showed no mercy. He didn't give her the chance to self-destruct.
Suddenly, a sound like shattering glass echoed across the battlefield. The spatial barrier broke. Grayfia looked annoyed—she had been seconds away from cracking it herself when someone broke it from the outside.
A handsome young man with short hair and a staff—the Ruyi Jingu Bang—appeared.
"Sun Wukong?" Ethan blurted out, his DNA recognizing the golden headband.
"The descendant of the Victorious Fighting Buddha," Grayfia corrected. "A monkey who values his freedom over his heritage."
Ethan had Katereia by the throat, lifting her off the ground.
"Wukong, what are you doing here?" Vali asked.
"We have a date with the Norse Gods. Pack it up, let's go," the monkey said, slamming his staff into the ground to create a massive teleportation circle.
The other Brigade members—Kokabiel and the mechanical angel—immediately retreated toward the circle. Michael and Shemhaza didn't stop them; they were exhausted and preferred to let the enemies leave.
Only Katereia, still in Ethan's grasp, couldn't move. But as the teleportation light intensified, she managed to channel a burst of Satan-class mana to slip through Ethan's fingers.
"Wait for me!" she screamed, fluttering her black wings toward the circle.
Ethan looked at Sirzechs and Serafall. Neither moved. They were letting her go.
Ethan's eyes narrowed. Fine. If you won't stop her, I will.
[I, WHO AM ABOUT TO AWAKEN...] [DREAM OF THE INFINITE, GRIEVED BY THE ILLUSORY...] [I SHALL BECOME THE CRIMSON DRAGON KING...] [AND SINK YOU INTO THE PURGATORY OF THE RED LOTUS!]
[JUGGERNAUT DRIVE!]
In less than a second, Ethan transformed into a terrifying, massive Red Dragon. This wasn't the humanoid armor; it was a beast of pure destruction. Every second in this form burned his lifespan, but with his new strength, he could maintain it for a minute without permanent damage.
The crimson aura was so suffocating that Vali instinctively tried to trigger his own Juggernaut Drive.
"Vali, stop," Albion warned. "He's not coming for you. Let's go. That girl is lost. This generation's Red Dragon is... genuinely pissed off."
The crimson dragon tore through space, its massive claw closing around Katereia like a vice.
CRUNCH!
The sound of grinding bone and muscle echoed. Katereia let out a final, agonizing shriek before falling limp. She was unconscious.
"Whoops... used a bit too much force," Ethan's voice growled, steam hissing from his fanged maw. He didn't pursue Vali. If the White Dragon went Juggernaut, the whole area would be erased.
"See ya, Red Dragon," Wukong laughed, completing the teleport.
"Next time," Vali shouted, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "Let's have a real fight!"
"You'd better get stronger then," Ethan replied, de-transforming and tossing the unconscious, half-naked Katereia onto the ground.
Ethan took a deep breath. He had protected his girls, beaten the "fated rival," and secured a high-tier Satan-class prisoner for his "special" training.
