"How tragic! Achoo!" Shido thought to himself as he soaked in hot water after returning home. First, he met with Yoshino, and then! Tohka, out of concern, followed him, making it seem like he was having an affair. Then Tohka stole Yoshino's doll, Yoshino, causing Yoshino to go berserk. After her berserk state, Yoshino's doll disappeared and hasn't been found yet.
"What a disaster!" Shido thought to himself, feeling a slight itch in his chest.
"Should we go to the hospital to get checked out? Let's talk about it after we find Yoshino!" Shido touched his very long hair, it seemed he still needed to get a haircut.
Shido had no idea that his body was about to undergo a tremendous change—a change that was utterly devastating and completely irreversible.
After taking a bath, Shido started to check the messages on his phone that day.
"That guy's got eyes on you," Shido thought, a warmth spreading through his heart as he read the text message. He truly was his best friend.
"What?!" Shido was utterly ashamed as he looked at the hundreds of messages that the "master" had sent, none of them repeated. This girl, who was usually so calm and collected, was completely broken down now.
He slowly replied to each message, Shido being so gentle. Then, he started researching online. Exams were fast approaching, and he didn't want to be stuck studying while everyone else was having fun—that would be absolute hell.
"This video has a really high click rate!" Shido suddenly saw a video on the homepage that had been clicked so much it was practically purple, and clicked on it out of interest. Anyway, the video was short, only about five or six minutes long.
"Is that an 'Elf'?" Upon seeing a familiar figure suddenly appear in the video, Shido recognized the beautiful face immediately. He would never forget it once he'd seen it, and in surprise, he jumped up from his chair.
The next second, he was captivated by the gentle piano music. He had never heard such beautiful notes before, as if they had elevated his soul. After the video ended, he was deeply moved. He wanted to listen to it again, but he had to inform his sister of this important news.
"Hey! Kotori? I have something important to say." Shido took out his earpiece and began calling out to Kotori.
"Alright! You come up first!" Sensing her brother's anxious tone, Kotori even stopped the meeting and had Shido teleported over.
Ten minutes later!
"It really is Thor, the music is fantastic. Where did the video come from?" After confirming the identity of the violinist in the video and watching (listening to) the entire video, he began asking his subordinates.
"This was released by the singer's IP, Yushou Miku. Judging from the video, it was probably filmed secretly," said the mature woman with dark circles under her eyes, who was investigating and analyzing in front of her computer.
"Honestly, we can't do without the Hermits now. This one just popped up, what a nuisance!" Kotori shook her head in frustration, chewing on her lollipop. But for now, she could only deal with them one by one.
"Continue investigating Miku Izayoi's IP address online. Notify me if she posts any more videos of spirits. Right now, the main task is still to conquer Hermit." Kotori decisively gave the order, a decision that impressed many adults.
"We have news about that doll!" Kotori said to Shido, looking at her subordinate with satisfaction.
"Great! Where is it?" Shido asked excitedly.
"A very troublesome place!" Kotori looked at her brother with her eyes askance, "You've really had a hard time."
"What?" Shido was sweating profusely. Could they be in a tiger's den?
"Indeed, this is a bit troublesome." After returning home, Shido looked at a photo in his hand, that familiar face, that blank expression. It gave Shido a headache. After thinking for a long time, Shido finally took out his phone.
"I'll bring a gift and visit them tomorrow!" Shido thought to himself as he dialed the number.
