Chapter 135 - Testing out a new war machine.

The next morning, I rolled out of Jayda's bed as she slept, getting dressed before the sun had risen above the horizon. Not wanting the maids to see me leave her bedroom, as there was still one princess who hadn't tasted heaven from me. I will deal with her this evening, but for now. I wanted to make some more weapons as I have to prepare my army. Leaving her room silently so as not to wake her.

Jayda had experienced a rough first time as we had gone at it like animals after she had awakened to her pleasure. Walking towards the entrance, leaving my women behind as I passed through the early morning city, the bakers and butchers had already been at work, and I stopped to pick up some bread and slices of smoked meat before walking towards the city gate.

My fight with the demon told me I needed faster aircraft, especially one that fights air-to-air. Walking out of the gate as I ate the bread and smoked meat, getting three miles away before stopping at a flat area that was about five miles flat from the way I was facing. It was pointing away from the city, making me nod. This was a good place for it, as I walked three more miles, stopping as I summoned a five-hundred-meter square of Nightshade steel.

"This will be enough of a target for them," I said, smiling as I turned around and walked back to where I started, pulling up the blueprint of the first aircraft that I wanted, looking over it once more. Finding nothing wrong with it as I pressed create, a massive, bright light appeared as it began to form.

I smiled as I looked at the plane called the Angel of Death. The Lockheed AC-130 gunship is a work of art and one of the most deadly war machines ever built. It is armed with a M137 105 mm cannon, equipped with a M37 recoil mechanism, allowing the 105 mm cannon to fire with minimal recoil and quickly follow up with another attack.

A M61 Vulcan 20 mm cannon and a Bofors 40 mm cannon for extra firepower. As I remade the inside, since it's all AI-powered, I was able to make more room for ammo, along with the feeding and reloading mechanisms. Making the 105 mm cannon almost fully automatic, but not to the point of being fully automatic, would harm its flying ability.

But with this, the loading is faster than a human could do, which is fine by me, as it's more of a support fire element than an attack element. Lifting my arm as I opened the forearm screen and sent it orders, making the four propeller engines start to spin. It took a few minutes for it to start moving forward.

Watching it take off as it began to climb up into the sky, finally reaching 10,000 feet, it began to make a circle around the Nightshade steel target. It started firing on it, testing the 105 mm cannon first. The shell slammed into the massive Nightshade steel target before they began to open up with the 20 mm cannon and 40 mm cannon.

The rounds slammed into the steel, taking chunks out of it as I was using rare dual magic type rounds, as I wanted to test the recoil of the rounds to make sure it didn't affect. After ten circles, I reloaded it with epic triple magic type rounds. As it began to fire, I kept an eye on its stabilisation and saw it was approaching its limits.

This told me that Epic rank rounds would be the best it could handle, as anything higher would risk crashing it. Epic rank rounds would be more than enough to handle most, if not all, armies at this time, as Legendary rankers would be more focused on me over my war machines. Ordering the AC-130 to land as I looked over the next plane I was going to make.

The F-22 Raptor is the greatest fighter jet ever made. I wanted to make them handle air units, as I know that demons have beings that can fly. It was going to be overkill, as the F-22 Raptor's speed is beyond what any living being could fly at. But I add a twist to it, something the US was working on with it and the F-35.

That was drones that focused on assisting the F-22 and F-35 in tracking targets. They are called autonomous wingmen; they also act as attack dogs, as they can be loaded with missiles and controlled by the F-35 and F-22 for added firepower, while providing defence for the main planes.

Making it along with two wingman drones, along with a target drone that is only loaded with anti-missile defences. I was going to test the air-to-air combat abilities first before testing the air-to-ground abilities. If this plays out well, I will begin making F-22s first, then F-35s later, once the tests are complete and I reach my staging area I had mapped out for my invasion of the demons' land.

As the target drone began its takeoff and climbed to 5,000 feet, the F-22 and the two wingman drones took off. They quickly gained altitude and started chasing the target drone as the first wingman drone locked on and opened its missile bay, firing an AIM-120. The target drone: notice the lock-on, then pooped its countermeasures and banked right as the AIM-120 flew off, missing the target.

The target drone is built solely to survive, not to attack, so that I can test the F-22 and the wingman drones' abilities. The F-22's max speed is Mach 2.25, so I set the target drone's top speed to Mach 2.26 to outpace the F-22. The four planes began a game of cat and mouse as the F-22 locked on with its AIM-120 and sent two.

The target drone quickly released another wave of countermeasures and broke into a hard left turn as the countermeasures fooled one, and the other overshot the target drone. The four planes went into a climb as the F-22 switched its guns and opened fire, but the target drone accelerated, making the F-22 miss.

But this was what the two wingman drones wanted as they opened fire with their .50 calibre guns. They didn't have as big a round as the F-22 20mm cannon. But a .50 calibre round will do damage still, as a handful of rounds hit the target drone's wing, making it slow down long enough for the F-22 to fire once more.

This time, the 20mm cannon hit its target, ripping one of the wings off. The wingman drones locked onto the target drone with their AIMs and fired, despite its speed and maneuverability. The target drone popped all its countermeasures to no avail, as one AIM made it through, slamming into the engine.

The target drone broke apart as it spiralled towards the ground, slamming into it with a loud explosion. I was happy with the test, so I began the next phase, swapping the armaments for two 1,000-pound GBU-32 JDAMs and switching to an air-to-ground loadout. Letting the F-22 target the larger piece of Nightshade steel with them, I made the JDAMS Legendary Rank as it dropped the two of them.

They slammed into them, eradicating the Nightshade steel, and I smiled, as this test was amazing. I could probably increase the top speed since there's no pilot inside. Making it easier to increase speed without worrying about the pilot's safety. But for now, this was good enough to handle most, if not all, the threats, as even that demon couldn't keep up with their speed.

I made another F-22, but this time it was made the usual way. I have always wanted to fly one. With the ability not to die, I could learn to fly. As I knew how to do it, the problem was actually doing it and getting into the F-22 cockpit, starting it and checking the gauges before locating the throttle and fuel controls.

I started adjusting the flaps to the proper takeoff angle, advancing the throttle slowly as it began to move, waiting for the right speed before pulling the flight controls. Feeling it lift off the ground, I quickly put the gears away, but within my haste, I had forgotten to keep the speed I had.

Only for the bottom of the F-22 slammed into the ground, sliding, making me look out the window and sigh. "Well, shit. That is a buzz kill. I got too excited and messed up." I dismounted the F-22 and looked at the Raptor lying on the ground.

"Lucky for me, that I can make these with my mana, and they don't cost anything for me, not just about 2,000 mana at this point. God, if I were to try to fly one back on earth, I would be out of so much money." I said before storying the F-22.

"I will try it again tomorrow, but now I should visit my favourite nun," I said, turning around and walking towards the city.
