Three days later, in Tony Stark's villa.
Looking at the rocket model in front of him, Steve Rogers crossed his arms and said, "Are you sure you want to go to the moon?"
"I've checked the information recently. Although America had six moon landings from 1969 to 1972, there hasn't been a landing since then."
"Besides, this time you're not just landing on the moon—you're looking for Howard on the moon."
"This is far more difficult than landing on the moon. The most important thing is that no one knows whether there's danger on the far side of the moon, or even inside its core!"
After hearing Steve's concern, Tony Stark was still full of confidence. "Don't compare me with those NASA guys, Steve—I'm Tony Stark!"
"Besides, Linen is accompanying me to the moon this time. Even if there's danger up there…"
"Or if something goes wrong along the way, with Linen around, do you really think I wouldn't make it back?"
Looking at Tony's confident face, Steve was silent for a few seconds, then nodded. "Indeed, Linen's abilities are very mysterious, and his magic portal could bring you back."
"But—"
"No buts. I trust him!"
Tony gave Steve a playful wink and suddenly asked, "Enough about me. Haven't you and Natasha been assassinating the Hydra members hidden inside S.H.I.E.L.D.?"
"How's it going lately?"
"It's been going relatively smoothly."
Pulling a chair over and sitting opposite Tony, Steve said, "Under normal circumstances, if Hydra members inside S.H.I.E.L.D. kept dying, it would definitely cause panic."
"But because of Alexander Pierce above them… every time Hydra sends someone on a mission, the risk of death is already extremely high."
"Plus, we deliberately let some Hydra members escape alive."
"So up until now, they still haven't realized that S.H.I.E.L.D. is targeting them."
Steve chuckled bitterly at himself. "It's ironic, Tony, but in some ways, those Hydra agents are more willing to die for S.H.I.E.L.D. than actual S.H.I.E.L.D. agents."
Seeing Steve's bitter smile, Tony was about to speak when the system notification suddenly rang in their ears.
[Tip: A new video has appeared. Spoiler System owners, please enter the viewing room within five minutes.]
[If you fail to enter in time, it will be considered a voluntary waiver of your right to watch this video!]
Hearing the system, the two exchanged a glance, then quickly went to the prepared room.
After confirming they wouldn't be disturbed and that all notes were ready, they entered the theater.
"Hi, Mr. Stark, Captain Rogers!"
Seeing Tony and Steve enter, the Garfield-version Peter Parker—who had arrived first—immediately greeted them excitedly.
After leaving the theater last time, the more Peter replayed those videos in his mind, the more he admired the Avengers of this universe.
After all, compared with what he and even Mr. Reed's team had accomplished—
The Avengers of this universe were the real superheroes.
"Hey, Spider-boy. How've you been?"
Tony grinned. "By the way, before we parted last time, didn't you say you wanted to confess to the girl you like?"
"So? Did it work?"
Faced with Tony's teasing, Peter Parker scratched his head awkwardly.
"Wow, looks like our Spider-boy is really shy. How about it—need me to teach you a few tricks?"
"As long as you do exactly what I say, I guarantee you can get the girl you like in no time!"
Peter's eyes lit up immediately at the offer.
But before Tony could start showing off his "expertise," Natasha cut in sharply:
"Oh please, Tony. Those girls who hung around you before Pepper—how many weren't after your money, or trying to get a scandal with you to get famous?"
"Maybe only Pepper is actually sincere. But ever since you two got together, she's been keeping you on a tight leash."
"If Peter follows your methods to chase that girl, she'll probably never speak to him again!"
Hearing Natasha ruin his moment, Tony rolled his eyes.
Peter, meanwhile, instinctively stepped back two steps from Tony.
Too close!
I almost believed Mr. Stark was going to teach me how to chase girls!
If I really used his "methods" on Gwen and she ignored me forever…
Oh my god—that would be the worst nightmare of my life!
Sure enough, superheroes are still human.
I admire them… but for this part, no thank you!
Seeing Peter's distrustful look, Tony looked genuinely hurt.
Turning around and seeing Thor laughing, Tony frowned. "Well, if it isn't the male lead of Asgardian Hotspot. Why, you're not going back to Earth?"
"I heard from Fury you've been staying with Ms. Jane Foster on Earth."
"Tsk. You haven't returned in so long—aren't you afraid Ms. Jane Foster might find someone else?"
Hearing Tony's nonsense, Natasha shook her head helplessly.
Then she walked over to Wanda, who was sitting on the other side—looking at the lively scene with envy in her eyes, but too reserved to join in.
Nick Fury, who had just entered, said to Thor, "Don't listen to Tony's nonsense."
"Ms. Jane Foster hasn't been with other men. She's been waiting for news from you."
"I know. I trust Jane completely!"
Shrugging, Thor said confidently, "After all, once someone gets used to being with me, where could Jane possibly find a boyfriend as mighty as I am?"
"Tsk…"
Seeing Thor's narcissism, Tony looked like he had just swallowed something unpleasant and sank into his seat.
Steve smiled at Thor. "So, when will you return to Earth again?"
"The Bifrost is still undergoing repairs."
Thor answered seriously, "Based on the progress, it should be soon. Once the Bifrost is repaired, I'll return to Earth immediately."
"After all—"
Before Thor could finish, everyone was stunned as a 2.4-meter-tall tree man, covered in green leaves, walked in wide-eyed.
