Ard, Eva, and the others watched the battle from a distance on the deck of the Black Wind, staying on guard with their weapons drawn. Although there were only about fifty of them, the giants seemed to be overwhelming the dwarves, who were using their golems and tanks to maintain constant fire and engage the giants in close-quarters combat. The size of those giants was truly awe-inspiring; they stood roughly 3.5 meters tall with thick, muscular bodies. They wore Roman-style iron armor, and their arms and legs were covered in glowing tattoos that made it seem as if their strength or magic originated from those markings.
Additionally, some of them had four arms; they carried massive kite shields in all four hands, charging at the very front and parrying every shot and attack from the dwarves. Naturally, seeing the dwarves being pushed back made Thorena's blood boil. She was already inside her golem, its iron fists clenched tight. Geoffrey reached out and held the golem's hand.
