Chapter 140 - Chapter 140

**One Kick Girl — Chapter 140:

"The One That Enjoys Being Kicked"**

Existential comedy • Extremely bad news • Raon realizes the worst possible scenario

1. The Laugh That Wasn't Sound

The laugh didn't echo.

It vibrated.

Not air. Not space.

Intent.

Raon felt it in her bones.

"…Nope."

Shion froze beside her.

"…Was that—"

"Yes."

"…Happy?"

"Yes."

Shion closed her eyes.

"…We've reached the worst branch."

2. Something Arrives Early (That's Not Good)

Reality didn't tear.

It opened.

Like a door held politely by someone who knows they're invited.

A presence stepped through—

Tall. Undefined. Wearing the idea of a grin.

It clapped once.

Not loud.

Final.

"Oh this is refreshing."

Raon stared.

"…You talk."

"Of course I do.

Silence is for things that think they're important."

Shion whispered:

"…This one has a personality."

Raon groaned.

"Great."

3. Introductions (Nobody Asked For)

The Thing bowed.

A theatrical, mocking bow.

"I am what happens

when restraint becomes boring."

"When rules grow teeth

and start chewing on themselves."

"I am the consequence

that enjoys consequences."

Raon blinked.

"…You're the masochist version of reality?"

It beamed.

"Oh, I prefer the term

Feedback Entity."

Shion hissed.

"…It gets stronger when you react."

Raon's eye twitched.

"…Why does everyone do that."

4. The Worst Discovery

The Entity gestured at Raon.

"That little redirect kick?

Exquisite."

It shuddered—pleased.

"You didn't destroy.

You didn't obey.

You adjusted."

Raon's grin faded.

"…You liked that."

"I loved that."

Shion panicked.

"…Raon, don't kick it."

Raon nodded.

"Yeah. I know."

The Entity leaned closer.

"Please do."

5. Restraint: Level Impossible

Raon clenched her fists.

Muscles screaming.

Instincts raging.

Every fiber of her being wanted to kick.

Not because she was angry.

Because it was right there.

Shion grabbed her arm.

"Raon. If you feed it—"

"I know!"

The Entity laughed again.

"Ah. The tension.

Delicious."

6. The Trap Revealed

The Entity snapped its fingers.

Scenarios bloomed.

Worlds where Raon kicked— and the Entity grew.

Worlds where she held back— and it starved.

Worlds where she hesitated— and it multiplied.

The Entity grinned wider.

"I am powered by choice friction."

Raon swore.

"…You're literally my worst matchup."

"I know."

7. Shion Thinks Faster Than Fear

Shion stepped forward.

"If you enjoy reaction…

what do you hate?"

The Entity tilted its head.

"Certainty bores me."

Shion smiled.

"…Good."

Raon looked at her.

"…What are you planning?"

Shion took Raon's hands.

"Raon. Don't decide."

Raon blinked.

"…What?"

"Don't hesitate.

Don't choose.

Don't react."

The Entity stiffened.

"That's—"

"Be boring," Shion said.

8. The Most Dangerous Thing: Doing Nothing

Raon went limp.

No stance. No intent. No build-up.

She stood.

Breathing.

The universe waited.

The Entity's grin flickered.

"…No. That's not fun."

Seconds passed.

Then more.

No kick. No restraint.

Just presence.

The Entity twitched.

"Decide."

Raon yawned.

9. Damage Through Disinterest

Cracks formed—not in reality—

but in the Entity's confidence.

"You're supposed to struggle."

Raon shrugged.

"Eh."

Shion whispered:

"…It's working."

The Entity backed away slightly.

"This is unacceptable."

Raon smiled faintly.

10. The One Kick That Wasn't Given

Raon raised her foot—

The Entity lit up—

—and she set it down.

Nothing happened.

The Entity recoiled like it had been slapped.

"DENIED?"

Raon nodded.

"Yep."

11. Retreat (Temporary, Furious)

The Entity hissed.

"Fine.

Be dull."

"But boredom never lasts."

It stepped backward into nothing.

"I'll wait."

Silence returned.

Real silence.

12. Aftermath

Shion collapsed against Raon.

"…We survived."

Raon nodded.

"…That was worse than fighting."

Shion laughed weakly.

"Welcome to psychological warfare."

Raon groaned.

"…I hate smart enemies."

13. Stinger: The Counter

Far away—

The Feedback Entity watched.

Smiling again.

"So she can refuse."

"Interesting."

Something else stirred beside it.

Something older.

Calmer.

Patient.

"Then we change the game."

Raon sneezed again.

"…WHY DOES SNEEZING MEAN BAD THINGS."

Shion sighed.

"Because you're a narrative pivot."

Raon grinned.

"…Cool."
