Royce's mood begins to turn sour again, he really hates it so much when Ryker says that he doesn't care about him.
"If I didn't go after Carl… Do you think… we would have… gone further? Because I wanted to and I was scared! You are my brother, Ryker and I love you so much! I love you so much, even more than a brother…"
Ryker's breath hitched. He quickly turned around, showing his back at Royce. He did not know what to make of this confession… because he felt the same way… he had always known he wanted Royce to be more than a brother to him.
"Don't ever say this to me again, you are disgusting!" Ryker replied over his shoulder, his voice stern and utterly unimpressed, "And don't allow me to see your face again!"
He ran out of the scene, leaving Royce on his knees.
