"Hey, where are you going?" Ryker doesn't open his eyes, his voice heavy and raspy from sleep as he wraps his hand around Mylo's waist, stopping the Omega from getting out of bed.
Mylo smiles softly, slapping Ryker's hand away, "It is morning already, I need to get ready."
"Baby, you don't wake up until another two hours," Ryker groans, his eyes fluttering as he tries to continue sleeping, "It's way too early."
He didn't want to sleep alone, or lose the morning comfort of his mate's embrace. He wanted his Omega, he wanted his mate beside him.
He presses Mylo's back against his chest, pulling the blanket over their shoulders.
"Stay," Ryker pleads sleepily, "When I got back last night, you didn't give me your attention at all. You were so invested in those books of yours."
"They are Omega Greta's gifts," Mylo pressed his lips together, feeling glad that someone is trying to help him become something, what he needs to be.
