"Thank you for driving me home, Alpha," Mylo appreciates his Alpha but his eyes drift to the empty car spot in the car garage.
It seems Alpha Royce has still not returned home.
Ryker notices Mylo's mood dropping again.
"Do you really hate it so much when the three of us are not together?"
"It's not important," Mylo lowered his gaze, hiding his sadness because yes, he really hates that the three of them cannot always be together.
He wants to cling to them, cuddle them and have them squeeze him together. He wants to feel safe and warm when he goes to bed and wakes up in the morning.
Alpha Ryker gives him all of this but a half part of Mylo longs for something that feels empty and that is Alpha Royce.
"I am going inside. Are you coming or what?"
Ryker shakes his head, "Basketball practice. I will be back late, I have something to do after."
"Great," Mylo nods, accepting he has been left alone for good.
He is about to walk away when Ryker grabs him and pulls him close.
