Chapter 241 - Chapter 241 Silver And Gray!

"Twelve guys like that, huh?" While Kenichi and Makarov were talking, Natsu, thinking about the Invel from earlier, clenched his fist tightly, grinning with a mix of excitement and nervousness.

"Happy, let's go! Time to train!"

"Aye!"

Then, under the gaze of Gray and the others, Natsu and Happy headed straight out of the guild.

Watching Natsu's retreating figure, Gray first sighed, then a curve lifted the corner of his mouth as he said, "That's the Natsu I know."

Gray had been somewhat worried about Natsu.

After all, first Igneel left, and then Makarov planned to disband the guild.

But now, it seemed Natsu didn't need any worrying at all.

'I can't fall behind either!' Gray thought to himself, then his gaze fell on Kenichi.

"Kenichi, can you manifest that guy from earlier again?" Gray walked up to Kenichi and asked.

That guy from earlier...

Kenichi naturally knew Gray meant Invel.

Invel was an Ice Mage.

And Gray was also an Ice Mage.

Clearly, Gray wanted to train his Ice Magic with the manifested Invel.

Kenichi looked at Gray but didn't immediately agree to his request.

After thinking for a moment, a smile played on his lips as he said to Gray, "If you plan to train, I have someone else in mind."

'You have someone else in mind?'

Hearing this, a look of confusion appeared on Gray's face.

"While dealing with Tartaros, I encountered a very powerful Ice Mage. You could train with him."

'Tartaros?'

As soon as Kenichi said this, Wendy and Erza, who were nearby, perked up.

"Kenichi, are you talking about that person who looked a lot like Gray?" Wendy asked, looking at Kenichi.

Kenichi looked at Wendy and nodded with a smile.

Soon after, Erza, Wendy, and Gray followed Kenichi outside the Fairy Tail Guild.

Under the watchful eyes of Erza and Wendy, Kenichi slightly raised his arm.

In the empty space nearby, a skeletal mage clad in black robes, holding a staff, and emitting a strange black aura materialized out of thin air.

"This is... a demon!" Seeing the skeletal mage appear before him, Gray's expression changed, and he immediately entered a combat stance.

Although Gray hadn't participated in the previous Tartaros campaign and hadn't seen this skeletal mage before, he could feel an aura from the skeletal mage that was very unpleasant, similar to the demons they encountered in Sun Village.

"Don't be nervous. This demon is under control," Kenichi said, seeing Gray's look of facing a great enemy.

'Under control?'

Hearing this, Gray was first startled, then relaxed a bit.

Back in Sun Village, he had seen Kenichi control the demon Doriate.

So now, hearing that Kenichi controlled this demon, Gray wasn't too surprised.

"Summon the soul of Silver Fullbuster!" Kenichi commanded the controlled skeletal mage.

'Silver Fullbuster?!'

The moment Kenichi uttered this name, Erza's mind stirred, while Gray's face drastically changed.

"Silver Fullbuster... Could it be..." Although it was Wendy's first time hearing this name, she knew Gray's full name was Gray Fullbuster.

After a moment's thought, Wendy guessed that this person named Silver Fullbuster was very likely Gray's father.

Just as Wendy was thinking this, the skeletal mage, having received Kenichi's command, activated its Necromancy.

A dark purple-black aura instantly rose around the skeletal mage's body.

The dark purple-black aura flowed along the skeletal mage's body onto the ground.

Soon, a figure slowly emerged from the dark purple aura on the ground.

This person was none other than Silver Fullbuster, whom Erza and Wendy had seen before.

The moment the skeletal mage activated Necromancy to summon Silver, the system's mechanical prompt sounded in Kenichi's mind.

[Ding, congratulations Host, obtained Necromancy attribute!]

Hearing this prompt, Kenichi's eyebrows rose slightly.

This Necromancy was somewhat similar to Neinhart's [Historia of the Dead] from the Spriggan 12.

The difference was that Necromancy summoned the spirits of the deceased, while Historia of the Dead manifested the bodies of those who had died.

[Host, would you like to collect the Necromancy attribute?]

Soon, the system prompt sounded again in Kenichi's mind.

Hearing this, Kenichi didn't hesitate and immediately answered, 'Collect!'

With Kenichi's command, the Necromancy attribute beneath the skeletal mage instantly transformed into a golden tadpole-like rune and converged towards Kenichi.

Just as Kenichi was collecting the Necromancy attribute, Gray, looking at Silver in his silver armor, felt his pupils constrict sharply.

His expression kept changing, and his body began to tremble.

"Finally freed, and now you summon me back? What a hassle," Silver said, one hand on his hip, complaining to the skeletal mage.

As he spoke, Silver turned his gaze to Kenichi, Erza, and Wendy.

He had seen Kenichi, Erza, and Wendy before.

So, seeing the three of them, Silver's face showed no particular expression.

But when Silver's eyes fell on Gray, his pupils involuntarily widened slightly.

Father and son, Silver and Gray, stood facing each other from a distance, silent.

"Silver Fullbuster, I'm the one who had Keith summon you," Kenichi spoke first, breaking the silence.

"Yare yare, with your strength, is there anything you need my help with?" Hearing Kenichi, Silver turned his gaze from Gray to Kenichi, speaking lazily.

He had witnessed Kenichi kill Acnologia during the Tartaros event.

In his view, with Kenichi's power, there was no need to trouble a dead man like him.

"The guild has encountered some trouble recently. Gray needs to improve his strength in a short time. From now on, you will be responsible for guiding Gray's training," Kenichi said, his tone calm as he looked at Silver and Gray.

In the original work, Silver, fearing Tartaros, did not acknowledge Gray when they met.

But now, Silver knew that Tartaros had been destroyed by Kenichi.

And Keith was controlled by Kenichi.

Looking at Gray now, he had no more reservations.

"You've grown quite a bit," Silver said, a slight curve forming on his lips as he looked at Gray, his voice carrying a deep, time-worn tone.
