The two elders, Zhao and Xu, exchanged a glance — both could see the bitter helplessness reflected in each other's eyes.
This pampered young master still hadn't realized how serious the situation was. Those three… they probably weren't opponents the two of them could handle.
"Young Master," Elder Zhao said in a deep voice, "these three are far stronger than you imagine — especially that woman. Her aura is suffocating. We must first report to the Sect Master…"
Neither of them dared to act rashly; instead, they tried to reason with the arrogant youth.
Liu Xi's expression remained calm, but a faint glint of frost flickered in his eyes.
That lecher dared to lust after Xiao Yixian and Zi Yan — even dared to call them furnaces. Liu Xi had already decided: this one would not leave Tian Xie City alive.
He gently calmed Xiao Yixian's rising killing intent and Zi Yan's eager excitement. Then, with a sudden stomp, his figure shot forward like a bolt of lightning.
His overwhelming Dou Qi erupted in full, and the fiery stallion beneath the youth — a beast with the might of a 3rd Rank Magic Beast — neighed wildly and backed away in fear.
Elder Zhao and Elder Xu's expressions twisted. Just from Liu Xi's aura alone, they knew: even the two of them together might not be his match.

The two blurred into motion, blocking Liu Xi's path.
"Sir, do not make a mistake!" Elder Zhao barked. "Our Sect Master is a Dou Zong powerhouse, and this is his beloved son—"

"Argh!"
Liu Xi's fist struck like a mountain. The elder on the right barely managed to raise his arm in defense. A horrifying impact shattered his sleeve to ribbons; bones snapped, veins twisted, and his body staggered backward, leaving deep spiderweb cracks across the blue stone street.
Before the other elder could react, Liu Xi twisted his body, spinning into a side kick.
Crack!
A sharp sound echoed — the second elder was sent flying like a broken kite, crashing heavily onto the ground. He clutched his mangled arm, face pale, hissing in pain.
Two Mid Level Dou Huangs — to Liu Xi, a Peak Dou Huang — they were nothing. After all, with every rank after breaking through to Dou Huang, not only one's Dou Qi but the body itself was tempered to terrifying resilience.
The physical strengthening from Dou Qi was comprehensive; even in close combat, those two decrepit elders were no match for him.
Zi Yan's eyes sparkled as she clapped her hands, cheering. "Big Brother, that move was so cool! Go, Big Brother!"
Xiao Yixian covered her mouth, her eyes filled with warmth. To be protected by the one she loved — could anything make a woman happier?
Liu Xi steadied himself, gaze turning cold as it fell upon the white-robed youth still on horseback.
The youth's face paled in terror. Liu Xi's strength was far beyond his imagination.
"D-Don't come any closer!" he stammered, voice trembling. "Do you know who I am? My father is Zhang Erhe, Sect Master of the Desire Immortal Sect — a Dou Zong powerhouse! Even if you are a Dou Huang, when my father arrives, he'll make sure you die without a grave!"
"Still, I'll give you a chance. Offer up those two beauties, and I'll make you rich beyond measure!"
Liu Xi's lip curved into a cold smile. 'If that Zhang Erhe knew his son was dragging his name through the mud like this, would he regret not splattering him on the wall instead?'
He'd already made up his mind — to uproot that so-called Desire Immortal Sect entirely. Judging by its name alone, it was clearly no righteous faction. Eliminating it would be an act of justice.
His figure flickered.
In an instant, Liu Xi appeared atop the horse, one hand lashing out like lightning to seize the young man by the throat.
Lifting him high, he infused his domineering Dou Qi into the youth's body, shattering his unstable Dou Qi flow.
"G—ack… my father… Zhang Erhe… you can't—"
The youth kicked and thrashed helplessly, face turning purple.
"Sir! Release our young master!" Elder Xu shouted, his voice trembling. "Our Sect Master is a 4-Star Dou Zong! If you harm him, even with wings, you won't escape Tian Xie City alive!"
"Please, let him go," Elder Zhao pleaded anxiously. "We can talk this out—hurt the Young Master, and there'll be no turning back!"
But Liu Xi didn't even spare them a glance.
'If you knew this would happen, why act arrogantly in the first place?' he thought coldly. 'Such vermin — if spared today, they'll only cause trouble tomorrow.'
'You can guard against a gentleman, but not against a snake.'
He fixed his gaze upon the gasping youth.
"You prey on the weak, defile women, and commit countless sins. As the saying goes — like father, like son. Your father is likely no better. Today, I'll act on Heaven's behalf and rid the world of your filth."
With a flick of his wrist, Liu Xi hurled him to the ground.
Thud!
The youth crashed hard, coughing blood as he clutched his throat, retching violently.
Liu Xi stood tall atop the horse, arms folded, his robes and hair billowing in the wind. His presence exuded an unshakable righteousness.
"I'll give you a chance," he said lightly. "Call your father. I'll destroy you both together."
Around them, mercenaries and merchants peered from alleyways and shop doors.
Some admired his courage. Others pitied his fate. They'd seen this before — righteous young men who stood up to the Desire Immortal Sect… and died miserably.
No one stepped forward. No one warned him. Everyone simply watched in silence.
Zhao and Xu, battered and bleeding, scrambled to lift their young master.
The youth glared at Liu Xi with venomous eyes, his voice dripping with hatred.
"Men like you — I've seen many. In front of my father, you'll crawl like a dog. I'll make sure you watch while those two beauties serve me beneath the sheets!"
"Humph."
Liu Xi's cold snort cracked like thunder. Killing intent erupted from him, crashing down like a storm.
The youth trembled, face paling once more, but quickly turned desperate. With a sneer, he pulled out a jade token and crushed it.
A surge of mysterious energy burst forth and vanished into the distance.
Moments later—
From deep within Tian Xie City's heart, an earth-shaking aura exploded into the sky.
A furious voice thundered across the heavens, shaking the city to its core:
"Who dares harm my son while I, the Sect Master, still live!"
