He turned the computer screen towards the two of them, pulling up a blurry photo.
"That person's weakness is green Kryptonite, a special mineral that emits a unique wavelength, which can significantly weaken his power, cause him to lose his ability to fly, and inflict extreme pain."
"These are the coordinates Lex Luthor encrypted and sent to me before his capture, marking the hiding place of the last batch of Kryptonite, in a deserted warehouse at Gotham Harbor."
He then pulled up another image, showing an ancient clock tower with a rusty Bat-Signal on top.
"The battlefield is chosen here, the Gotham Observatory Clock Tower. It's one of Gotham's highest points, structurally independent, and below it is a century-old underground shelter that can block Cyborg's signal detection, preventing him from discovering us before we even start."
A cold smile flashed in Bruce's eyes.
"Most importantly, it's conspicuous enough. As long as the Bat-Signal is relit, that person will definitely notice. He will never allow anyone to raise the banner of resistance again within his order."
"Tonight at 8:00 PM, I will use the underground network nodes to broadcast all of that person's criminal evidence onto all functional public screens."
Bruce's voice carried a hint of resolve.
"He will definitely have Cyborg search for the signal source, and to cover up his crimes, he will come alone. There's no one left in this world who can make him wary. His arrogance will lead him to carelessly enter the underground shelter."
Bruce straightened his body, his aura suddenly changing; the Dark Knight who protected Gotham had finally returned from hell.
He turned to Barry, speaking very quickly.
"Barry Allen, your speed is key. After the evidence is broadcast, you must reach the warehouse within 5 seconds, retrieve the Kryptonite, and deliver it to the clock tower's underground shelter. Remember, don't alarm anyone. Your only target is the Kryptonite."
Then he looked at Li Yu, his tone carrying an unprecedented solemnity.
"Mr. Li Yu, you are the terminator. When that person is lured to the center of the shelter, first activate the Extreme Cold Domain. The goal is not to directly freeze him, but to freeze the atomic motion in the space around him. His power comes from stellar radiation; the cessation of atomic motion will cause him to instantly perceive a power discontinuity, disrupting his defenses and distracting his attention."
"Then, use your Chaos Lightning, unleashing a full-power, killing blow."
Bruce's gaze was like a torch, sweeping over the two of them.
"The entire plan must be completed within 60 seconds. Barry Allen must retrieve the Kryptonite in no more than 5 seconds. Once the Kryptonite reaches the shelter, Li Yu's Extreme Cold and Chaos Lightning must be activated simultaneously. The gap between these three actions cannot exceed milliseconds."
"Once he is given a moment to breathe, allowing him to contact the Justice League or visitors from unknown space, we will have completely failed. Failure means the entire planet will be buried with him."
"We have only this one chance, one strike to decide life or death."
Bruce's voice was firm and powerful, echoing in the cave.
"Code name: Dark Judgment. Tonight at 8:00 PM, let that false god, who fancies himself righteous, be annihilated under the weight of his criminal evidence. Do either of you have any questions?"
Barry Allen looked at Bruce, his voice tinged with sadness, golden electric arcs faintly flickering in his eyes.
"The plan is perfect, but if we both leave, what will you do? What if… we can't kill him in time, and that person, in his rage, retaliates…?"
Bruce bent down and picked up the broken Bat-mask from the ground, flicking off the dust with his fingertips.
He slowly put the Bat-mask on his face, revealing only a pair of eyes burning with fighting spirit.
Bruce's lips curved into a cold, sharp arc, and his voice came through the mask, carrying the unique majesty of the Dark Knight.
"Batman never disappears. As long as Gotham is still here, as long as darkness still exists, he will return from the shadows."
"Even if only one breath remains, I will drag him into hell with me."
A subtle ripple, almost imperceptible, flashed in Li Yu's dark eyes. Although he was confident he could severely wound Superman, he couldn't guarantee he could fully protect Bruce.
But this was the Dark Knight's own choice; it was everything he gambled for Gotham, for Earth.
It was his last dignity as Batman.
Li Yu slowly nodded, his figure gradually disappearing.
"The plan is feasible. Tonight at 8 PM sharp, I will have everything ready!"
Barry Allen's body once again lit up with the Speed Force.
"I must go too. Staying too long in this world will allow him to detect the Speed Force fluctuations."
Bruce put on his Bat-suit, transformed into a giant dark bat, and leaped down.
The Batcave became quiet again, with only the faint glow of the computer screen and the electric arcs of the Speed Force flickering… Gotham City's night was shrouded in heavy leaden clouds, not even a sliver of moonlight could penetrate.
Cold rain drizzled down, washing away the bloodstains and garbage on the streets, but it couldn't cleanse the inherent sin of this city.
Deep in an alley, the helpless cries of a woman and the sinister laughter of hooligans broke the deadly silence of the rainy night. Superman's justice and order seemed to only cover the daytime; once night fell, this place remained a paradise for criminals, a hell for the innocent.
At exactly 8 PM, a dazzling white light suddenly erupted from the top of the Gotham Observatory Clock Tower!
The long-dormant giant searchlight broke free from its rusty constraints, condensing its beam into a focused column that pierced through the lead-gray rain clouds, projecting a huge, wing-flapping Bat-silhouette onto the churning clouds!
Against the backdrop of lightning, that silhouette was like a guardian god awakening in the darkness, exuding a chilling majesty.
In the streets and alleys, hooligans who were robbing a store suddenly froze, their daggers clanging to the ground.
Thugs dividing their loot in a corner abruptly looked up, their pupils contracting with fear.
This symbol awakened memories that had slumbered for years.
"Bat… Batman?"
Someone stammered, their voice trembling.
"The Dark Knight… he's back?"
It was well known that Superman had long ago declared Batman guilty of crimes against humanity, stripped him of all his property and status, expelled him from the Justice League, and even publicly announced that he had perished in the sewers.
But at this moment, the Bat-Signal lit up again, like an open provocation to Superman's "order," plunging all of Gotham into chaos and shock.
At the same time, large public screens and old television signal receivers across Gotham and even worldwide were suddenly forcibly activated.
Scene after scene of meticulously edited, irrefutable video and audio evidence, cold images in the rainy night, stung everyone's eyes.
Scene one: In a cell at Arkham Asylum, the Joker was trampled under Superman's foot, his green hair stained with blood, his limbs twisted at unnatural angles.
The Penguin lay beside him, his broken beak dripping blood, yet still laughing maniacally.
Superman's pupils glowed with crimson heat vision, slowly sweeping over these villains, without the slightest hesitation.
"Superman! You pervert! You're even more despicable than us!"
The Joker's scream pierced through the screen, but it only earned him a colder look from Superman.
The heat vision descended, and the villains' bodies twisted in flames, ultimately turning to charcoal, leaving only a pungent, burnt smell.
