Chapter 90 - The state of the orphanage

Renzille made her way up the creaking stairs, her steps light as she walked through the orphanage's second floor. 

As she moved down the corridor, her eyes scanned the rooms, taking in the sight of the living conditions for the children and based on her observation from the previous night— the conditions were indeed far from ideal, with the "beds" being little more than small piles of sheets, worn and torn from years of use. 

With the lights seeping through the window curtains, she could see that the walls were marked with holes, the paint peeling in places, the floors were dirty, and the overall size of the room is smaller than the gazebo back in Leira's mansion. 

Renzille's heart sank at the sight.

Renzille quickly moved on to another room, hoping to find better conditions, but her expression deepened into a frown when she stepped inside and took in the sight.
