Leira shook her hands off from Renzille's and brought them to her cheeks, brushing the tears that tethered at her eyelashes.
"You.. You were so different from what I used to know, but you're still the same crybaby." Leira hummed, her lips curling into a teasing grin, but just like Renzille's, there were tears rolling down her cheeks.
"You had your guards up around me, but I took that as a challenge to make you see that I care." She continued, pressing her fingertips at the corner of Renzille's eyes.
"And it's not just me.. Bluria does, too." Leira leaned down and pressed her lips on Renzille's forehead, the kiss spreading comfort all over Renzille's body. "We have failed once so we won't let things go down the darkest path this time."
Renzille laughed softly, the sound coming from the bottom of her heart. "That's a relief. I was so tense thinking that you were scheming something against me."
