So far, Alex had encountered very few supernatural things: the hypnotist Tanaka, the hypnotic notebook in Kyoto, and the anomalies at the Ashihara estate.
Now, a Succubus summoning. This was different. If it worked, he might get some answers.
He decided to add some insurance.

He had saved up quite a bit. Ninety hearts meant ninety internal creampies. For a normal man, that would be a death sentence, but for Alex, it was just another Tuesday.

He spent his hearts. A warm current flowed through his limbs. His muscles subtly shifted, evolving toward physical perfection.
"Alex," Rin arrived with a plate of sliced watermelon. Alex looked at her, and his system window updated her stats.

Under Alex's "diligent labor," the girls' stats had reached the human threshold of 10. They didn't look different, but Rin was now physically as capable as a trained adult male.
"Let's eat in the yard," Kaede said. They sat on the tatami porch, the summer sun filtering through the eaves. "Rin and I used to sit here as kids... we'd have watermelon seed spitting contests..."
Kaede paused, looking nervous. Rin added, "Sister isn't just talking about us. She means him too."
"That..." Kaede looked guilty. "Since he was our childhood friend, we played together... but I don't talk to Hayato anymore."
She was explaining it to Alex, worried he'd be jealous. She had no feelings left for that boy.

Kaede's stats were much lower—average for a high school girl.
"She's the Student Council President, but her [Intelligence] stat is low? And her Vitality is higher than average? What's with this girl?" Alex mused. [Intelligence] in the system didn't mean IQ; it meant mental/spiritual energy. Kaede was smart, but she lacked "mystical" potential.
"Did you say something?" Kaede asked.
"Nothing. I was just thinking that 'Childhood Friend' usually loses to 'New Arrival' anyway," Alex teased.
"Are you calling yourself the 'New Arrival'?" Rin asked, sitting on his other side.
"We have a club training camp this summer. Kaede, do you want to come?" Alex asked.
"I'm not in your club..." Kaede hesitated. She wanted to go, but her personality made her difficult.
"It doesn't matter. You're Rin's sister. Yui and the others won't mind. Unless you don't want to..."
"I didn't say I didn't want to..."
"We're going to the beach, the summer festival, fireworks... are you sure?"
"F-fine! I'll go with Rin. But Alex, change your club name! 'Sexual Guidance' is too filthy!"
If the name were normal, she'd join in a heartbeat. It's not like the activities would change anyway—they'd still be having sex every day.
"Kaede, you don't understand. It's about 'Niche Marketing'. I'm 'rescuing' the girls at school," Alex said solemnly.
Rescuing? You're just taking advantage of them! Kaede thought, remembering their first kiss.
"Anyway, Alex... when are you going to try that Succubus summoning?"
"Want to see it? I can do it now, although night is usually better..."
