Chapter 202 - 202 Lady Rurikawa, the Noble Heiress?

Alex was sitting under a tree eating his bento box, flanked by the Tsubakihara twin girls, Yuna Tsubakihara and Nina Tsubakihara. A picnic mat was spread on the grass, holding a sumptuous lunch. In addition to the bento, bread, and milk, there were also sandwiches, which the girls had made by hand.

"Alex, there's also sushi. Come and try it, ah~~"

Yuna Tsubakihara pressed half her body against Alex, completely unconcerned that her breasts were brushing against the young man in such an intimate way. She brought the sushi she had made herself to the mouth of the boy she adored, watching him open up and eat it.

"Ah—"

Alex was checking his skill list, staring at the system panel and contemplating what skills to buy. He instinctively opened his mouth to accept the feeding, missing the look of joy on Yuna's face.

"Sister Yuna," Nina Tsubakihara pushed up her glasses from the other side, wiping a grain of rice from the corner of Alex's mouth. She also picked up a rice-ball-like treat and held it to his lips, stating with a competitive spirit, "Although Alex didn't refuse, he isn't Japanese, after all."

"He likes this better than sushi, ah~~"

"Ah—"

"Hmm?"

It wasn't until he had eaten it that he realized something was different. His gaze shifted from the panel to Nina's fair, slender hand. "Is this... a sticky rice dumpling?"

"It is. Alex should prefer this, right?" Nina Tsubakihara smiled with a touch of smugness.

"Nina, you..." Yuna Tsubakihara gritted her teeth. "You didn't make that rice dumpling yourself; you bought it at a store."

"So what? I went several blocks out of my way to buy it, and I'm also learning this special dish. Soon, Alex will get to taste a rice dumpling made by me."

"..."

That wicked Nina! She wasn't even interested in Alex until recently, and now she's fighting me for him...

"Nina, this rice dumpling isn't very authentic, actually. It doesn't taste like home at all." Alex suddenly remarked.

"Uh..."

The girl with glasses puffed out her cheeks, a little deflated. The next second, the boy she loved cupped her face, stroking her cheek. "But the flavor is alright. I'm looking forward to the rice dumpling you make, Nina, more than the store-bought one."

"I'll try hard to learn," Nina Tsubakihara recovered her smile and hooked her arm around his.

"I... I won't lose to Nina! I'll learn it too!"

Watching the twin sisters squabble in a competitive, jealous manner, Alex sighed dramatically. Who would have thought the twins—Yuna, the shy and timid one, and Nina, the proud and indifferent one—would turn out like this?

Especially Nina. He had thought she was a cool and aloof goddess, but it turned out she had such a cute side.

Since their intimate encounter at the Tsubakihara house last time, Nina Tsubakihara's affection for Alex had soared. Although they didn't go all the way last time, she had been kissed, touched, and even her lactation had been tasted, so there was nothing left to be reserved about.

That's why Nina had changed so much.

As for Yuna, needless to say, she was already Alex's woman and had been shaped into his mold.

"By the way, Yuna, do you remember the Rurikawa family?" A breeze blew past, the scent of grass surrounding them. The two girls were immersed in the joy of feeding Alex when Nina suddenly brought up a topic.

"The Rurikawas?"

"Rurikawa Tsubaki, the young lady of the Rurikawa family. We used to play with her and saw her at banquets. Have you forgotten?"

"Rurikawa Tsubaki... Oh, that girl. But we only knew her casually; we weren't very close," Yuna Tsubakihara was something of a homebody with almost no social circle outside. "What about her?"

"It's not about her. Something happened to the Rurikawa family. Mom probably hasn't mentioned it to you yet, but the Rurikawas were swallowed up overnight..."

Rurikawa?

Rurikawa Tsubaki?

Swallowed up?

A strange sense of familiarity began to spread. Alex, who had been looking at the skill tree, suddenly turned his head. "Nina, elaborate."

"You're interested, Alex? I don't know much, Mom just mentioned it last night..."

Outside the school gate, inside a black luxury sedan, Mira Tsubakihara, wearing a fitted pantsuit, sat in the driver's seat. Mira rarely wore suits; she usually dressed in casual wear, or home clothes, or kimonos.

You couldn't tell she was a wealthy woman.

Even at formal events, she wore gorgeous evening gowns, like an enchanting and extravagant noblewoman. She rarely wore suits, but even in this women's suit, her presence was outstanding.

It just goes to show that beautiful people look good in anything.

"Alex, why the sudden interest in the Rurikawa family? Are you interested in the young lady of that house?" Mira lightly tapped her finger on her lip. The beauty mark near her mouth added a hint of seduction to her look.

"Partially, yes," He was indeed interested in Rurikawa Tsubaki. "But I'm not interested in just anyone. I only actively inquire about specific heroines. Coincidentally, the slightly familiar Rurikawa Tsubaki is one such girl."

His 100 points of Intelligence and terrifying mental power made long-forgotten memories begin to surface, making Alex sigh in resignation. Why hadn't I noticed before how well-read I apparently am?

"I knew it. However, the young lady's situation isn't great right now. It might be for the best if Alex can help her..."

Help her? Mira, don't tell me you think I'm some kind of bleeding-heart Samaritan? Tsk.

"Although we weren't close, I was somewhat familiar with the Rurikawa family. This family wasn't a powerful financial conglomerate, nor did they have much influence, but they were a noble house with a long history. It's a shame that in this world, having only a noble title means you can only become someone else's easy prey."

Speaking of this, Mira glanced at the two women in the back seat. "The one who devoured the Rurikawa family was that man from the Boyman family, an unpleasant character in the upper circles. That guy has had malicious intentions toward me for a long time. Yuna, Nina, you two need to be careful of him, too."

"Boyman? Did he destroy the Rurikawa family just because he was fixated on Rurikawa Tsubaki?"

Seeing their mother nod, the two sisters exchanged glances. However, Yuna, far from being afraid, clenched her little fist. "That kind of scum..."

Wait, did you forget my terrible behavior from before? Did you forget that I'm scum, too? Alex rolled his eyes. Just then, Nina saw his strange expression and suppressed a laugh. "Alex is different from him. At least he wouldn't be that excessive."

"Aren't you afraid?"

Alex asked curiously.

"Hehe, why should we be afraid? Even if that Boyman guy is powerful, he can't be a match for Alex," Yuna fully trusted the man she loved, transforming into his number one fan. "Alex is no ordinary person."

"That's true," Mira also smiled. "With the silver mark, we don't have to be so cautious, and Alex has powerful superpowers. That Boyman is no threat to us. At least in my circle, I've never seen a second person with superpowers."

Even Mira's upper-class circle hasn't seen one? It seems supernatural beings are rare, or perhaps, they are hidden.

"Mira, give me Rurikawa Tsubaki's address," Alex held out his hand and winked.

Nina and Yuna exchanged another glance, their little mouths pouting.

It looks like Alex is about to get up to something naughty again...
