Chapter 121 Facing the Basilisk
"Luna, can you help me with something?"
Moon looked at Luna, who was holding a magnifying glass and meticulously examining the wall.
He knew that Luna had unique insights into things that ordinary people couldn't comprehend, and perhaps she could help him open the Chamber of Secrets.
"What is it?"
Luna turned her head and asked in her ethereal voice, her silver-grey eyes filled with curiosity.
"Can you speak Parseltongue from this diary towards this faucet?"
Moon pointed to the diary in his hand and requested Luna, hoping to use her ability to open the door to the Chamber of Secrets.
"Yes... this faucet?"
Luna nodded in agreement, then walked over to Moon and, with her slender finger, pointed at the snake-carved faucet directly in front of them, asking.
"Yes, that's the one."
Moon confirmed the faucet Luna was pointing at, with its lifelike snake pattern, and then said with certainty.
Luna tilted her head to look at the open diary in Moon's hand. She quickly scanned its contents, then, in her clear and ethereal voice, read it out word by word: "Hishashasha..."
Her voice echoed in the empty washroom, like an ancient incantation, filled with mystery and power.
Surprisingly, after she finished those few syllables, the snake-shaped faucet slowly began to turn, emitting a series of creaking sounds.
The cylindrical washbasin also split open, revealing a pitch-black hole, from which a cold, damp aura surged out.
Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets was finally opened by him!
"Ding, system task completed: Open the Chamber of Secrets. Reward: White Talent Replication x 1."
The prompt from the infinite talent system sounded in Moon's mind.
Moon looked at the pitch-black hole, a faint smile on his face.
He knew that he had finally taken the first step towards success. Next, he would enter the Chamber of Secrets and face the terrifying Basilisk.
Luna looked at Moon curiously, then at the open hole, and said, "Where does that hole lead? I feel strange creatures moving inside."
She seemed to be able to sense what was inside the Chamber of Secrets, her silver-grey eyes filled with doubt.
"It's a dangerous place, you'd better not go there."
Moon said to Luna. He didn't want Luna to be caught up in this dangerous battle. He knew the Chamber of Secretswas full of unknown dangers, and he had to face it alone.
"Oh."
Luna nodded. She felt that what Moon said was true, and she didn't want to cause him any trouble. She chose to trust Moon; he would surely handle everything.
"You go back first, Luna, I have some matters to attend to." Moon said to Luna.
"Okay, Moon, see you next time." Luna waved at Moon, then turned and left the third-floor girls' washroom. Her figure quickly disappeared at the end of the corridor.
Moon watched Luna's retreating back and took a deep breath. He refocused his gaze on the pitch-black hole.
He knew that a more arduous challenge awaited him, and he had to be fully prepared.
Moon silently chanted in his heart,
Sacred Space-Time!
A powerful Time-Space Power erupted within him. The space around him began to twist incessantly, and his slender body also emitted a dazzling silver light.
Mysterious runes also appeared, dancing around his body, constantly rotating and emitting powerful energy fluctuations.
He closed his eyes, perceiving everything around him with his consciousness, ensuring there were no problems.
Only then did he jump into the pitch-black hole without hesitation.
"Ding, system task triggered: Kill the Basilisk. Reward: Red Talent Replication x 1."
The prompt from the infinite talent system sounded in his mind again.
Upon hearing the system prompt, the corners of Moon's mouth curled slightly, and an excited smile appeared on his face.
It was just as he had thought.
Moon's figure disappeared into the darkness at the entrance of the Chamber of Secrets.
Upon reaching the ground,
A cold, damp aura assailed him. The air was filled with a faint smell of sulfur and some rotting odors, making one feel very uncomfortable.
He cautiously advanced while observing his surroundings. He could clearly sense that the surrounding walls were carved with various snake patterns.
Under his perception, he discovered that these walls seemed to be made of some special stone, emitting faint energy fluctuations.
He knew that he was in Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets. Everything here was full of danger, and he had to be careful and cautious to deal with everything that was about to happen.
He walked for a long time and finally arrived at a spacious room.
This room was much larger than he had imagined. In the center of the room stood a giant stone statue, which was a snake's head. Its eyes glowed with an eerie green light, sending shivers down one's spine.
Below the statue was a huge pool of murky water, emitting a pungent, fishy odor.
"It seems the Basilisk is hidden in this pool." Moonmurmured to himself. He could clearly feel an extremely powerful magical fluctuation hidden in the pool, which was the aura emanating from the Basilisk.
Just then, the water in the pool
suddenly began to churn violently, as if something was slowly rising from the bottom.
Moon tightly gripped the wand in his hand. His body also began to emit a silver light. His heart was filled with vigilance; he knew the Basilisk was about to appear!
A giant snake head slowly rose from the pool. The snake's eyes were a pair of murderous yellow vertical pupils, emitting a terrifying light.
Its body was as huge as a small mountain, and its scales shimmered with a metallic luster in the dim light.
"Is this the Basilisk?" Moon looked at the behemoth before him, his heart filled with excitement. His invincible mindset left him without any fear.
"Hiss, hiss, hiss..."
The Basilisk let out a piercing hiss. It opened its cavernous mouth, revealing sharp fangs. It seemed eager to devour the tiny human before it.
Moon knew the battle had begun!
He concentrated his mind, mobilizing all the Time-Space Power within him.
His body instantly vanished from its spot, leaving only a silver light flickering in the air.
He aimed the wand in his hand at the Basilisk, his tone calm yet firm: "Today is your day to die!"
Chapter 122: Killing the Basilisk
"He brandished his wand fiercely.
The battle officially began!"
Moon's voice echoed in the empty Chamber of Secrets, carrying an unstoppable resolve.Shining silver runes encircled his body, as if he were a powerful warrior from another world. He knew that this battle concerned the fate of countless people, and he had to go all out to protect everything he cherished. His eyes were filled with determination and confidence; he knew he absolutely could not fail, he had to defeat the Basilisk before him.
He instantly apparated in front of the Basilisk, moving with such ghostly speed that his movements were almost imperceptible. Before the Basilisk could react, the wand in his hand quickly brandished, and silver spells, like raindrops, shot towards the Basilisk's head.He knew that striking first was the most important principle in battle.
"Petrification Curse!"
"Space-Time Stun!"
"Sectumsempra!"
"Sectumsempra!"
Every spell he cast contained powerful Time-Space Power; their speed was extreme, like lightning, making them impossible to avoid. Each spell carried his powerful magic and will, impacting the Basilisk's defenses. His wand was like an extension of his body; he could control the release of spells at will, making him a true fighting machine.
The Petrification Curse attempted to petrify the Basilisk's body, restricting its movements; the Space-Time Stunsought to disrupt the Basilisk's sense of space-time, throwing it into confusion and thus slowing its reaction speed; the Sectumsempra transformed into invisible blades, slicing at the Basilisk's scales, trying to break through its tough defenses; and the Vulnera Sanentur was to prevent himself from being injured, constantly protecting his body, leaving him free of worries in battle.
The Basilisk's enormous head was instantly enveloped by the spells Moon cast, and its body began to tremble slightly. It seemed to sense an unprecedented threat, and a hint of fear began to arise within it.It knew that this human before him was far more powerful than he had imagined, and it had to deal with him cautiously.
However, the Basilisk's magic resistance was astonishingly high. The ordinary spells Moon cast had limited effect on the Basilisk, only managing to slow its movements and prevent it from moving quickly. The Basilisk did not suffer much damage; it remained fiercely aggressive, ready to counterattack at any moment. Its massive body began to emit powerful energy fluctuations, as if brewing an even stronger attack.
The Basilisk let out another massive hiss, its voice like rolling thunder, deafening, as if it would collapse the entire Chamber of Secrets. Its enormous body began to shake violently. It opened its gaping maw and bit fiercely at Moon; its sharp fangs, like sawteeth, emitted a terrifying cold glint. From its mouth, a foul-smelling venom sprayed out, attempting to corrode Moon completely.
A cold light flashed in Moon's eyes. The silver runes around his body spun even faster. He activated his skill again, Sacred Space-Time!
He could clearly feel that the surrounding time began to slow down.Everything around him seemed to be slowed down countless times. He could clearly see every movement of the Basilisk and predict the direction of its attack, which allowed him to evade the Basilisk's attacks more easily.
His body vanished again, as if merging into space-time, narrowly dodging the Basilisk's attack.Immediately after, he quickly appeared above the Basilisk's head. His wand once again pointed at the Basilisk's head, and silver spells, one after another, shot towards the Basilisk's head again. He wanted to completely defeat the Basilisk; he wanted it to know that the power he possessed was something it could not contend with.
He knew that ordinary spells had limited effect on the Basilisk; he had to use more powerful spells to completely defeat it.He had to unleash his true strength to overcome the Basilisk before him.
"Space-Time Obliteration!"
Moon shouted, gathering all the magic in his body at the tip of his wand.A silver light shot from the tip of his wand, striking the Basilisk's head. That silver light, full of Time-Space Power, seemed capable of tearing space itself. The energy it contained was enough to destroy all obstacles.
In an instant, the Basilisk's head appeared to be cut by countless sharp blades, exhibiting innumerable tiny cracks. Its body also began to twist. It seemed to feel immense pain, struggling incessantly. Its scales began to fall off, and its blood began to gush from the cracks, staining the entire Chamber of Secrets a bloody red.
The Basilisk's roars became even more mournful, filled with pain and unwillingness. Its body began to twist violently, trying to break free from Moon's Time-Space Power, wanting to escape from here, to escape Moon's clutches. It knew that it was about to collapse and had to retaliate with all its might to have a glimmer of hope.
The Basilisk's desperate struggles only exacerbated the collapse of its body. Its hard scales began to shatter like glass into countless fragments, scattering on the ground. Its blood, like a fountain, gushed out, staining the surrounding ground and enveloping the entire Chamber of Secrets in a thick, bloody smell.
A cold smile appeared on Moon's face.He knew that the Basilisk was about to collapse. He would use his final attack to end this battle completely. He wanted the Basiliskto know how powerful he was, he wanted it to know that he was invincible.
He gathered all his power at the tip of his wand and unleashed his final strike against the Basilisk.
"Space-Time Obliteration!"
He shouted, and a massive silver beam of light shot from the tip of his wand, instantly striking the Basilisk's body. The powerful Time-Space Power completely devoured everything of the Basilisk.Wherever the light beam passed, space seemed to twist, creating eerie cracks, as if to swallow the entire Chamber of Secrets.
The Basilisk's consciousness gradually dissipated into the air, first turning into points of light, then slowly disappearing, leaving only its massive hollow body, devoid of life force.
Just then, Moon suddenly felt a violent tremor from the diary in his pocket.
He knew that Voldemort's soul fragment was trying to control the Basilisk's body; he wanted to use the Basilisk's power to counterattack him.
The Basilisk's body, which had already lost its life force, suddenly began to tremble violently. Its eyes once again flickered with red light, and its massive body also began to twist, as if controlled by a powerful force.
Moon's expression changed slightly. He knew that Voldemort's soul fragment was trying to control the Basilisk's body.
He had to stop him.
He absolutely could not let Voldemort's scheme succeed.
Chapter 123: Destroying Horcruxes - Notes
"Time-Space Seal!"
Moon silently chanted in his heart, instantly unleashing the vast, ocean-like Time-Space Power within him. His powerful strength surged like a tide towards the diary in his pocket.
In an instant, the rampant power was suppressed, and the diary became quiet, like a tamed beast, no longer making any sound.
Moon retrieved a long Basilisk fang from its mouth. He could feel that this fang contained an extremely potent, lethal venom. He knew this fang was the hardest part of the Basilisk and its most potent weapon.
He forcefully pierced the black diary with the Basilisk fang.
"Splat!"
With a muffled thud, black blood gushed from the diary like a fountain. The color of the blood was extremely bizarre, emanating an evil aura that sent shivers down one's spine.
"Ah ah ah!!!"
Endless wails of resentment emanated from the diary. The sound was filled with pain and unwillingness, as if countless souls were howling at once, making one's hair stand on end. This sound was filled with Voldemort's rage and despair; he knew he was about to completely perish.
The diary also began to tremble violently, as if trying to break free, but Moon's Time-Space Power firmly suppressed it, preventing it from moving even an inch.
That powerful force ignited the water in the surrounding pool, forming a huge wave. The towering wave, like a tsunami, swept in all directions, attempting to engulf Moon.
A cold sneer appeared on Moon's face. He knew that Voldemort's struggle was futile, and his conspiracy would never succeed.
He once again mobilized the Time-Space Power within him, sealing off the surrounding space. The huge wave was instantly frozen in mid-air, as if solidified by time, unable to advance another inch.
From his expandable pocket, he took out a specially made expandable pocket. This pocket was specifically for storing special items; it possessed powerful spatial storage capabilities and could hold objects of any size.
He put the Basilisk's body into the expandable pocket. He knew that the Basilisk's body was very important evidence. He would use it to clear Hagrid's name, and he would also make the entire magic world see Voldemort's true face.
Moon glanced at his surroundings, confirmed there were no omissions, then put away his wand and leaped, flying out of the Chamber of Secrets entrance.
He knew he had to tell Dumbledore about this as soon as possible to prevent Voldemort's Death Eater subordinates' plot from succeeding. He wanted to work with Dumbledore to resist the impending crisis.
Moon flew out of the Chamber of Secrets and deactivated the Sacred Space-Time state. His body returned to normal, and his powerful Time-Space Power vanished without a trace, as if it had never existed.
As he stepped out of the bathroom door, he saw Lunastanding nearby, quietly watching the door. She seemed to have been waiting for Moon to appear.
Seeing Moon emerge safely, Luna gave him a slight smile, then turned and left.
She didn't say much, just looked at Moon deeply with her unique gaze.
Moon knew Luna was worried about him. He nodded at Luna's retreating back, expressing his gratitude. It seemed he had a very special friend.
However, the most important thing now was to find Dumbledore. He had to tell him everything about the Chamber of Secrets and Voldemort's conspiracy so they could jointly resist the impending crisis.
He quickened his pace, heading towards Dumbledore's office, his figure disappearing at the end of the corridor.
Moon quickly arrived at the door of Dumbledore's office. He didn't knock; he simply pushed the door open and walked in.
He knew Dumbledore must be waiting for him in the office. He believed Dumbledore already knew the Chamber of Secrets had been opened.
Dumbledore was sitting behind his desk, quietly looking at Moon. His eyes were still so wise, as if he could see through everything.
Moon placed the expandable pocket he held and the diary, pierced by the Basilisk fang, on Dumbledore's desk. His tone was very calm, as if narrating a very ordinary matter: "Headmaster, the Basilisk has been eliminated by me, and Voldemort's Horcrux has also been destroyed by me using the Basilisk's poisonous fangs."
Dumbledore showed no surprise upon hearing Moon's words. He seemed to have anticipated all of this. He merely slowly raised his head to look at Moon, his eyes filled with relief, and a hint of worry.
He didn't rush to ask anything but first checked Moon's body. His hand gently stroked Moon's forehead, using magic to probe Moon's physical condition.
Only after confirming that Moon's body was fine did a relaxed smile finally appear on his face.
He knew Moon was a very special child, and the power he possessed had far exceeded his imagination, but he was still worried that Moon might be harmed in this adventure.
He looked at Moon and said in a gentle tone, "You did very well, child. You are much stronger than I imagined."
Moon shook his head. He knew that everything he did was to protect what he cherished. He didn't need any praise; what he needed was even greater power to protect those he loved.
"Headmaster, I just did what I should do," Moon said calmly. He didn't want to magnify his achievements; he knew he still had a long way to go.
Dumbledore smiled. He knew Moon's character; he knew Moon was not a person who liked to show off. He simply quietly did what he believed was right.
Just then, Fawkes the Phoenix, perched on the windowsill, suddenly let out a sharp cry.
Its previously spirited body began to tremble slightly. It seemed to sense an extremely terrifying threat, and its fiery feathers gradually began to dim.
Then, to Moon and Dumbledore's astonished gazes, it instantly turned into a pile of ashes, drifting down from the windowsill.
Just as Moon and Dumbledore were both surprised, a small flame suddenly appeared within the pile of ashes. The flame flickered a few times, then gradually coalesced into a tiny Phoenix.
The small Phoenix let out a clear cry at Moon, then began to preen its tender feathers. Its eyes were filled with affection for Moon.
Moon looked at the small Phoenix, feeling a surge of surprise. He knew that Phoenixes were magical creatures with immortality, but a Phoenix's rebirth was not so easy. He hadn't expected to witness a Phoenix's rebirth with his own eyes.
This little Phoenix was the reborn Fawkes, and it seemed to feel a great affinity for his aura.
Chapter 124: Night Talk with Dumbledore
"Professor Dumbledore, I believe Hagrid is innocent. The cause of Myrtle's death was the Basilisk."
Moon sat on the sofa in Professor Dumbledore's office, speaking calmly, his tone filled with certainty. He knew he had to clear Hagrid's name; he couldn't let a kind person bear a crime that wasn't his.
He told Dumbledore everything he knew, including the existence of the Basilisk and Voldemort's framing. He hoped Dumbledore would believe him and help Hagrid out of his predicament.
"Of course, I have always believed Hagrid was innocent."
Professor Dumbledore listened to Moon, a relieved smile on his face. He strongly agreed with Moon's statement; he knew Hagrid was a kind person and would never harm any student.
Otherwise, he wouldn't have kept Hagrid on, allowing him to be the Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts.
"I will help Hagrid clear his name in this matter. I think Cornelius will also help Hagrid."
Professor Dumbledore looked at the extendable pouch on his desk containing the Basilisk's corpse, a complex emotion flashing in his eyes.
He knew that the appearance of the Basilisk meant Voldemort's resurrection was imminent, and his Death Eaters were beginning to plot.
Fortunately, Cornelius now completely believed in Voldemort's return.
He also knew that what Fudge needed most now was to regain his trust, and helping Hagrid clear his name was undoubtedly an excellent opportunity.
"That's true. By the way, Professor, this can earn Gryffindorpoints, right?"
Moon saw that Dumbledore could resolve the subsequent matters and didn't forget to ask for some points to make the Gryffindor students happy.
He knew that Gryffindor students always craved house honor.
Professor Dumbledore heard Moon's words, a benevolent smile on his face. He knew Moon was a very kind child, and everything he did was for the sake of others.
"Of course, I will give Gryffindor more than enough points," Professor Dumbledore said with a smile. He knew everything Moon had done was worthwhile, and he deserved the house's reward.
"Professor, should the matter of the Chamber of Secretsbe revealed?" Moon looked at Professor Dumbledore, a hint of worry in his tone. He knew that revealing the Chamber of Secrets would certainly cause panic among all the students.
"No, let's not mention it, lest the children panic." Professor Dumbledore shook his head, his tone becoming serious. He knew the Chamber of Secrets was a grave matter, and he had to handle it with extreme caution. He absolutely could not let any child be harmed.
"However, I can ask the other Professors to keep an eye out for any unusual situations in the school, after all, Voldemort's soul fragment still lurks in Hogwarts," Professor Dumbledore added. He knew Voldemort's threat still existed, and he had to remain vigilant at all times to deal with any potential crisis.
Professor Dumbledore took a glass jar filled with various candies from his desk and offered it to Moon: "Would you like a Fizzing Whizbee? They're delicious."
Moon took one, put it in his mouth, and found the taste quite good. The Fizzing Whizbee danced in his mouth, emitting a faint honey aroma, making him feel very satisfied.
"Thank you, Professor," Moon said with a smile. He knew Dumbledore gave him candy to alleviate his inner tension.
After bidding farewell to Professor Dumbledore, Moonreturned to the Gryffindor dormitory. He told Harry, Ron, and Hermione everything that had happened that day. They were all happy for Moon when they heard he had successfully killed the Basilisk.
They chatted for a long time until late at night, then each returned to their dormitories and fell into a sweet sleep.
The next day,
The first class was Potions Class.
Moon arrived at the classroom early. He found Professor Snape's face still as gloomy as ever, as if everyone owed him money.
However, Moon didn't pay attention to Snape. He knew Snape was actually a person with a sharp tongue but a soft heart. On the surface, he was very strict with all students, but in reality, he cared deeply about them.
The second class was Herbology.
Professor Sprout led everyone to the greenhouse. She was going to lead everyone in repotting Mandrakes. She knew Mandrakes were very dangerous plants, and their screams could be fatal. She had to be careful to prevent students from being harmed.
As everyone put on their earmuffs, Moon saw Neville Longbottom fumbling to put on his. He noticed that Neville's earmuffs weren't properly worn and promptly reminded him: "Your earmuffs aren't on properly."
Neville heard Moon's reminder and quickly adjusted his earmuffs. He looked at Moon with grateful eyes and said in a slightly shy tone: "Oh, oh, thank you, White." He knew that if it weren't for Moon's reminder, he would have been harmed by the Mandrake's screams.
His fumbling appearance made Crabbe and Goyle from Slytherin opposite him mock him: "Hahaha, idiot!" They seemed to enjoy mocking Neville, taking pleasure in ridiculing others.
Moon's face instantly turned cold when he heard Crabbeand Goyle's mockery. He glared sharply at Malfoy, who immediately understood and stopped his two cronies from taunting. He didn't want Moon to be displeased by their actions.
Malfoy snarled at Crabbe and Goyle: "Shut up! You two idiots! If you dare to mock anyone again, I'll make you regret it!" His tone was full of threats. He knew he had to obey Moon's words to avoid trouble for himself.
Crabbe and Goyle saw Malfoy's anger and quickly shut their mouths. They knew they were no match for Malfoy; they could only suppress their anger internally.
After the class, Moon noticed that Malfoy had improved a lot from his previous arrogance and frequent bullying of classmates. He was very well-behaved in class and no longer troubled other students as before. He seemed to be diligently trying to change himself and become a better Wizard.
Moon knew that Malfoy's significant change was all due to him; he was subtly influencing Malfoy and changing Malfoy's destiny.
But the punishment for his father, Lucius, still had to be carried out.
Seeing that his wife chose Harry over Voldemort, he would not let him die.
Chapter 125 Roaring Letter
Chapter 125
"Crunch, crunch~"
Ron sat at the Gryffindor long table, carefully mending his broken wand with magical tape. His craftsmanship was clearly not very good; the tape was applied crookedly, looking quite comical. He knew himself that this was only a temporary measure. The wand had been severely damaged, and even if it was reluctantly repaired, it wouldn't be able to exert its original power.
He and Harry exchanged glances, both seeing helplessness in the other's eyes. They knew it was unlikely they could buy a new wand now, as they had Defense Against the Dark Arts class that afternoon and would definitely need wands for it.
Hermione sat opposite them at the long dining table, elegantly eating her lunch while reading a thick magicbook. She didn't speak, only occasionally looking up at Ron's disheveled appearance, a helpless expression on her face.
Ron's wand had broken on the way, and she knew he must be very anxious now, but she didn't know how to comfort him.
"Let me see, maybe I have a solution." Moon saw Ron's predicament and knew he must be very anxious. He put down the Advanced Spell Theory he was holding and took the wand, precariously taped together, from Ron's hand.
He carefully examined the wand. He could feel that its interior had been severely damaged, and the flow of its magic was very unstable.
Moon's magic began to circulate rapidly. He slowly released the immense Time-Space Power. The invisible Time-Space Power, like flowing water, enveloped the broken wand, making it emit a faint silver glow. The light was soft yet mysterious, astonishing everyone around.
This scene instantly attracted the attention of the other students at the Gryffindor long table. They all put down their cutlery, curiously watching Moon. They had never seen such amazing magic before and were all deeply shocked.
"Click~"
A sudden flash illuminated Moon, who was repairing the wand. It was a slender, blond boy named Colin Creevey, holding a rangefinder camera with a flash, who took a picture of Moon. His blue eyes were filled with excitement, and a brilliant smile spread across his face.
"Click~"
Then, he took another photo of Harry. His movements were very quick, as if he was afraid of missing any exciting moment.
"My name is Colin Creevey, and I'm also in Gryffindor." The excited blond boy looked at Harry and introduced himself. His voice was very agitated, as if he had met his idol.
"Hi, Colin, nice to meet you," Harry replied politely, looking at Colin with friendly eyes. He knew Colin was a very enthusiastic boy and he enjoyed being around enthusiastic people.
"Can your friend take a picture of us? I'll stand next to you to prove I really met you. This is for my father; he's a milkman. In our family, besides me, my father and everyone else can't use magic..." Colin stared at Harry with an adoring expression, speaking non-stop. He seemed to have endless things to say and wanted to tell Harry everything about himself.
"I understand." Harry listened carefully to every word Colinsaid. He knew Colin was a child from an ordinary family, and everything he did was for his family. He had to respect and understand him.
"Okay." Ron saw that Harry had such an adoring fan and was happy for Harry. He said with a smile, knowing that Harry was a very popular person and everything he did would be recognized by everyone.
"Alright, don't break it again next time. Its material can only withstand one repair." Moon handed the repaired wand to Ron. He spoke to Ron with a hint of helplessness in his tone. He knew Ron's personality was rather reckless and accidents were prone to happen.
Through this wand repair, he also realized that Time-Space Power was very domineering and not all materials could withstand it. He had to be more careful and cautious to avoid unnecessary damage to other items.
However, this was merely an exploration of Time-Space Power, and it did not mean that the conditions for using Time-Space Power were harsh.
Ron took the wand, a surprised smile on his face. He found that the wand had been restored to its original state by Moon, as if it had never broken. He could clearly feel that the wand's power had also become stronger.
"Thank you, Moon! You're truly amazing!" Ron said gratefully. He knew Moon was his good friend and always lent a helping hand when he needed it most.
Moon smiled slightly and said nothing. He knew that everything he did was as it should be; he was just doing his best to help his friend.
While Ron and Colin were taking pictures, someone suddenly noticed Ron's owl flying into the Great Hall. It was holding a red envelope in its beak. The envelope looked very conspicuous, emitting an unsettling aura.
Then, to everyone's horror, they discovered it was a Howler. Ron's face instantly turned ashen, and his mood plummeted. He knew he was in for trouble.
After the Howler was opened, it unleashed a torrent of shouts at Ron. The sound was like thunder, deafening, making the entire Great Hall fall silent. Everyone looked at Ron with sympathetic eyes, knowing he must have made another mistake.
The Howler reprimanded Ron for several minutes, and finally, it even congratulated Ginny on being sorted into Gryffindor. This made Ron's face even more unpleasant. He knew he had truly lost face this time.
After being reprimanded by the Howler, Ron became very dejected. He felt as if he had become the laughingstock of the entire school. He hung his head, silent, as if wanting to completely hide himself.
Harry and Hermione, seeing Ron's dejection, both walked over to comfort him. They knew that what Ron needed most right now was their support and encouragement.
"It's okay, Ron, don't take it to heart." Harry patted Ron's shoulder and said in a gentle tone.
"That's right, Ron, it was just an accident, you don't need to worry too much about it." Hermione also said. She knew Ron was a sensitive person and she had to use a gentler approach to comfort him.
Moon looked at Ron's dejected appearance, feeling a hint of helplessness. He knew Ron's personality was impulsive and he was prone to making mistakes, but he was also a very kind person who always went to great lengths for his friends.
He stepped forward, patted Ron's shoulder, and said in a calm tone, "Don't worry about it, Ron. Just be careful next time." He knew that what Ron needed most right now wasn't comfort, but encouragement. He hoped to help Ronget back on his feet in his own way.
Ron heard Moon's words, looked up, and gave Moon a grateful glance. He always lent a helping hand when he needed it most.
"Thank you, Moon." Ron said in a low voice, his mood slightly improved.
"Alright, let's go to class. Let's not keep Professor Lockhartwaiting." Moon said with a smile. He knew that what Ronneeded most right now was a distraction. He hoped to use this method to help Ron forget the unpleasantness he had just experienced.
Chapter 126 Defense Against the Dark Arts
Harry, Ron, and Hermione all nodded. They knew that Moon was right; they had to get to class as soon as possible to avoid being punished by Professor Lockhart. They didn't know what kind of teacher Professor Lockhartwas, but they had to arrive at the classroom early to avoid being scolded.
They left the hall together and walked towards the Defense Against the Dark Arts class classroom. Their steps became lighter, knowing that the upcoming class would be a brand new challenge.
When they arrived at the Defense Against the Dark Arts class classroom, they found Professor Lockhart already standing at the podium. He was wearing a very ornate Wizard robe, with a brilliant smile on his face. Around him were various books and some strange magic items.
When he saw Harry and the others enter the classroom, he immediately stopped what he was doing and looked at them with an even brighter smile. His tone became excited: "Hello, students! Welcome to Defense Against the Dark Arts class! I am your Professor Gilderoy Lockhart! I believe that under my guidance, you will definitely learn a lot of useful knowledge!"
His voice was loud and full of passion, like a rock star, instantly making the classroom atmosphere lively.
Hermione's face showed an excited expression when she heard Professor Lockhart's self-introduction. She stared wide-eyed at Lockhart, her gaze filled with admiration. She seemed to be a loyal fan of Lockhart's.
"Oh my goodness, he really is Professor Gilderoy Lockhart! He's even more handsome in person than in the books!" Hermione whispered, her tone full of excitement. She had always liked Lockhart very much, finding him to be an excellent Wizard with a very legendary experience.
Ron and Harry, however, had no interest in Lockhart. They just felt that Lockhart was a very narcissistic person, and his behavior was very exaggerated.
Moon looked at Lockhart's hypocritical smile and felt a wave of helplessness. He knew that Lockhart was a charlatan who only used the Memory Charm, and his true strength couldn't compare to those real Dark Arts masters.
He knew he had to be careful to avoid being deceived by Lockhart.
"Students, to help you understand me better, I've prepared a small Q&A session. As long as you can answer my questions, I'll give you extra points!" Professor Lockhartsaid with a smile, his tone full of anticipation. He seemed eager to know how much the students knew about him.
"Who knows what my favorite color is?" Professor Lockhart asked his first question.
Hermione immediately raised her hand and excitedly said, "It's lilac! Professor Lockhart, your favorite is lilac!"
"Correct answer! Gryffindor gets ten points!" Professor Lockhart said excitedly. He was very satisfied with Hermione's answer, thinking she was a very smart student, and he liked smart students.
"Who knows what my favorite food is?" Professor Lockhartasked again, his gaze sweeping over all the students. He seemed to want to see if anyone else could answer his question.
Hermione raised her hand again and excitedly said, "It's roast beef! Professor Lockhart, your favorite is roast beef!"
"Correct answer! Gryffindor gets another ten points!" Professor Lockhart said excitedly again. He was very satisfied with Hermione's answer, thinking she was a genius, able to know all his preferences.
Next, Professor Lockhart asked many more questions about himself, including his favorite pet, his favorite sport, and his favorite magic. Hermione answered each one, which greatly surprised Professor Lockhart. He repeatedly praised Hermione as a very smart student and awarded many points to Gryffindor.
Moon looked at Hermione's excited expression and felt speechless. He hadn't expected Hermione to be such a loyal fan of Lockhart's. He found Lockhart's hypocrisy very repulsive and didn't want any interaction with him.
After the Q&A session ended, Professor Lockhart finally got to the point. He began to introduce Defense Against the Dark Arts to the students, eloquently recounting his past adventures and the various powerful Dark Artscreatures he had defeated. His tone was full of pride and arrogance, as if he were an omnipotent hero.
"Today, I'm going to introduce you to a very evil, terrifying creature that makes people scream! It possesses extremely powerful magic, enough to make anyone feel fear!" Professor Lockhart said mysteriously, his tone full of secrecy, and a hint of cunning in his eyes.
The students all felt very worried when they heard Professor Lockhart's words. They were all afraid that Professor Lockhart would make them come into contact with some very dangerous creatures.
Professor Lockhart took out a huge cage from beside him. The cage was covered with a black cloth, making it impossible to see what was inside, which made the students even more nervous.
Professor Lockhart, with a mischievous smile, pulled off the black cloth, revealing what was inside the cage.
"Ta-da! Cornish Pixies!"
The students all breathed a sigh of relief. It turned out to be just some small blue Cornish Pixies, not some terrifying creature. They looked at Lockhart somewhat speechlessly, thinking he was making a mountain out of a molehill.
Professor Lockhart saw the students' indifferent expressions, and his face subtly changed. He knew he had to teach them a lesson to make them understand the power he possessed.
He mischievously opened the cage and released dozens of small blue Cornish Pixies.
The dozens of Cornish Pixies immediately flew around, performing all sorts of pranks on the students in the classroom. Some pulled the students' hair, some yelled into their ears, and others threw all the students' books onto the floor. The entire classroom instantly plunged into chaos.
The students were all in a panic. They tried to drive away the Cornish Pixies, but their spells had no effect on these little creatures.
However, it was very quiet around Moon. Not a single Cornish Pixie dared to approach him. He seemed to be protected by an invisible barrier; as the Pixies approached him, they all veered away. They seemed to sense the powerful aura emanating from Moon.
Moon watched the chaotic scene in the classroom with interest, the corners of his mouth curving slightly into a playful smile.
Such a carefree student life isn't bad either.
Chapter 127 Gryffindor Bonus
The dinner bell chimed, and the Hogwarts Great Hall once again buzzed with activity. The long tables were laden with various delicious dishes, and an enticing aroma filled the entire hall.
Students gathered in small groups, sharing their day's experiences, their faces radiating youthful energy and joy.
Moon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione sat at the Gryffindor long table, eating dinner and chatting casually, sharing amusing incidents from their classes today and their anticipation for the upcoming Quidditch match. The atmosphere among them was very harmonious, like a warm family.
Just then, the lights in the Great Hall suddenly brightened, and Headmaster Dumbledore stood up. His benevolent smile appeared even gentler under the light. His gaze swept over all the students, and he said in his magnetic voice, "Students, please quiet down. I have an announcement to make to everyone."
The Great Hall instantly fell silent. Everyone stopped talking and turned their attention to Dumbledore. They knew that Headmaster Dumbledore was surely about to announce something very important.
"Last night, an evil fellow tried to release a Basilisk into our school, attempting to endanger the safety of the students," Dumbledore said in a steady tone. His voice carried a hint of seriousness and a touch of anger; he seemed very displeased with those who sought to harm the students.
A low gasp immediately rippled through the Great Hall. Everyone looked at Dumbledore with terrified eyes. They had never imagined that such a terrifying creature would try to infiltrate the school, which filled them with dread.
"Fortunately, our school has a very brave and excellent student who discovered their plot in time and prevented the Basilisk's invasion, protecting the safety of all of us!" Dumbledore continued, his tone carrying a hint of admiration and pride.
"This student is from Gryffindor, Mr. Moon White!" Dumbledore looked at Moon and said with a tone full of admiration. His eyes were filled with encouragement and trust. He knew that everything Moon did was to protect Hogwarts and everyone here.
The Great Hall instantly erupted in a burst of enthusiastic applause. Everyone looked at Moon with eyes full of admiration. They had never imagined that Moon was so powerful, that he could prevent the Basilisk's invasion. He was truly a hero.
The Gryffindor students cheered even more excitedly. They were proud of Moon and incredibly proud to be his classmates.
"Wow! Moon! You're amazing! You actually managed to stop the Basilisk's invasion!" Ron said excitedly. He looked at Moon with admiring eyes. He knew that Moon had always been a very outstanding person, but he hadn't expected him to be so powerful, to be able to defeat the Basilisk.
"Moon, how did you do it? Tell me quickly!" Hermione also asked excitedly. She looked at Moon with curious eyes, eager to know how Moon had defeated that terrifying Basilisk.
Harry also excitedly hugged Moon. He looked at Moonwith admiring eyes. He knew that Moon had always been his good friend, and he was incredibly proud to have a friend like Moon.
Moon looked at their excited faces and just smiled slightly. He knew that everything he did was simply what he should do. He was just doing his best to protect everything he cherished.
"I just happened to stumble upon it," Moon said simply. He did not mention the Chamber of Secrets. He knew that if the matter of the Chamber of Secrets were revealed, it would certainly cause panic among all the students, and he did not want everyone to feel uneasy because of it.
"To reward Mr. Moon White, and to commend him for his contributions, I have decided to award Gryffindor House one hundred and fifty points!" Dumbledore said again, his voice echoing throughout the hall, full of power and joy.
Upon hearing Dumbledore's words, the Gryffindorstudents instantly erupted in an even more enthusiastic cheer. They were incredibly excited about the points added to Gryffindor. They knew that the honor of their House was all brought by Moon.
Students from the other Houses also began discussing Moon in low voices. Their eyes were filled with admiration; they were all very shocked by Moon's strength. They also wished to possess power like Moon's, to be able to protect everything they cherished.
The Slytherin students were very unhappy about Gryffindor's points. Their faces were filled with jealousy and dissatisfaction. They had always believed that the students of their House were the most outstanding, and they could not accept that Gryffindor could receive such high honors.
Malfoy, however, did not show any dissatisfaction like the other Slytherin students. Instead, his eyes held a hint of admiration. He looked at Moon as if he saw a true powerhouse. He knew that the power Moon possessed was something he could never attain.
Luna from Ravenclaw continued to eat quietly. Her eyes occasionally glanced at Moon. She didn't know what she was thinking, but she seemed filled with curiosity about everything concerning Moon.
The feast ended in a joyous atmosphere, and everyone returned to their dormitories with excited spirits. The Gryffindor students were even more excitedly discussing Moon's heroic deed and the honor Gryffindor had received.
Moon was the pride of their House, and they were incredibly proud to have such a classmate.
Meanwhile, students from the other Houses continued to whisper about Moon. Their eyes were filled with awe and curiosity. They were all greatly astonished by Moon's strength, and they began to wonder if they too could possess such powerful strength in the future.
Moon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione also returned to the Gryffindor common room. They were still discussing the day's events, gathered around Moon, excitedly asking him about the details of the battle. Ron was even more animated, gesticulating wildly as if he had personally experienced an epic battle, while Harry continuously patted Moon's shoulder, expressing his admiration and praise.
Hermione, on the other hand, seriously analyzed the magicMoon had used, trying to learn more knowledge from it.
Moon looked at them calmly, but his heart remained vigilant. He knew that Voldemort's plot still existed, and he had to stay alert at all times to deal with any crisis that might arise.
He still had a long way to go; he had to become even stronger to protect everything he cherished.
He knew that what he had to face was not just Voldemort, but also more unknowns and challenges awaiting him.
He would use his power to protect this world and to change its destiny!
He would become the most powerful Wizard, and he would make this world a better place!
He looked out the window; the night was deep, and the stars twinkled brightly.
Chapter 128 Snape's Suspicion
For a period of time, Moon's life seemed to fall into a regular cycle. During the day, he diligently listened to every class, trying his best to absorb the knowledge imparted by the Professor. He knew that only by continuously learning could he become stronger.
After class, he would go to the library alone to diligently study "Advanced Spell Theory." He wanted to master all the contents of the book as quickly as possible to elevate his magic level to a higher plane.
In the evening, he would arrive at Professor Snape's office on time. He would learn Potion knowledge from Professor Snape and ask him about content in "Advanced Spell Theory" that he didn't quite understand. Although Professor Snape still appeared very strict on the surface, he inwardly approved of Moon. He knew that Moon was an excellent student, and his magical talent was unparalleled by others.
Under Professor Snape's guidance, Moon's Potion level also improved rapidly. He was already able to independently create some relatively complex Potions, and his Potion knowledge became more solid.
He also learned many advanced spell application techniques from Professor Snape. He combined the content of "Advanced Spell Theory" with the knowledge taught by Professor Snape, and his magic power continued to grow.
Just like that, days passed, and in the blink of an eye, Moonhad completely finished reading "Advanced Spell Theory." He closed the book and let out a long sigh of relief. He knew that he had made significant progress and was one step closer to his goal of becoming stronger.
He looked up at Professor Snape, who was sitting behind his desk, grading assignments. He asked in a calm tone, "Professor Snape, is that green Potion still there?" He knew that the holy dragon potion containing the Killing Curse had always been in Professor Snape's office, and he had to retrieve it to completely eliminate future troubles.
Professor Snape looked up when he heard Moon's words. A hint of surprise flashed across his gloomy face. He seemed not to have expected that Moon would still remember that Potion. He thought Moon had long forgotten its existence.
"It's still here. I thought you had forgotten about it. I didn't open it; I can feel it's very dangerous," Professor Snapesaid with a serious tone. He knew that Potion was by no means an ordinary Potion. The power it contained was very strong, and he dared not open it easily.
Professor Snape walked to a Potion cabinet, chanted a spell, opened the cabinet's seal, and then carefully took out the holy dragon potion containing the Killing Curse. He placed the Potion on the table and looked at it with vigilant eyes.
"It's a good thing you didn't open it, Professor. I know what it is." Moon took the green holy dragon potion and carefully observed it. He could clearly feel a powerful aura of death contained within the Potion bottle.
"What is it?" Professor Snape asked, puzzled. He had no idea what kind of Potion it was, even as a Potion master, yet Moon, a second-year student, knew its secrets.
"This green light is the Killing Curse. Once opened, the Killing Curse will be released," Moon explained seriously to Professor Snape. He knew that the Killing Curse was a very dangerous magic, and its consequences were extremely terrifying. He had to make Professor Snapeunderstand its danger to avoid accidents.
To make Professor Snape believe him, Moon took out the irregularly shaped crystal from his pocket. In the crystal, there was a green light spot, identical to the green light in the Potion bottle.
Professor Snape took the crystal and examined it carefully. He gently caressed the surface of the crystal with his fingers. He found that he couldn't determine the material of the crystal at all, but he could feel that the green light in the crystal and the green light in the Potion bottle had the same dangerous aura. He could clearly feel the power of death contained within that green light.
He finally believed what Moon had said. He felt somewhat fortunate that he hadn't opened that Potion for research; otherwise, the consequences would have been unimaginable.
"This... this is actually the Killing Curse..." Professor Snapesaid in a shocked tone. His face turned very pale. He had no idea that he had been keeping such a dangerous Potion. He felt extremely scared.
Moon looked at Professor Snape's shocked expression. He knew that Professor Snape completely believed him. He placed both the crystal containing the Killing Curse and the holy dragon potion containing the Killing Curse on the table. Then, he initiated a system scan to scan both.
He found that there were some differences in their attributes.
"Target Name: holy dragon potion (Mutated)"
"Talent Traits:"
"magic Devour: Can absorb and devour the magic of other creatures, strengthening oneself, and even converting other magic for one's own use."
"Soul Link: Can establish a soul connection with the user and permanently share magic."
However, the crystal's attributes were:
"Target Name: Killing Curse (Solidified)"
"Talent Traits:"
"Power of Death: Contains powerful death energy, capable of instantly stripping creatures of life."
"Soul Devour: Can devour the souls of creatures to strengthen itself."
"Power Amplification: Can greatly increase the user's magic output, but will corrode the user's soul."
Moon's heart trembled as he looked at the information displayed on the system panel.
That crystal contained an even more powerful Power of Death. It could instantly strip creatures of life, devour their souls, and greatly enhance the user's magic output. However, it would also corrode the user's soul, which made Moon feel a hint of worry.
He knew that he had to be careful to avoid being controlled by the power of the Killing Curse.
"This... this is truly incredible!" Professor Snape still looked at the green holy dragon potion and the crystal in shock. His face was full of doubt and confusion. He completely couldn't understand why such strange magical items existed, nor could he understand why Moon, a second-year student, knew so many secrets.
He picked up "Advanced Spell Theory" and flipped through the contents of the book. He tried to find a description of the Killing Curse in the book, but he searched the entire book and found no relevant records, which made him even more puzzled.
He turned his gaze to Moon again, and his tone became more serious. He knew that Moon harbored many secrets he didn't know, and he had to figure out Moon's true identity.
"Mr. White, who exactly are you? Why do you know so much about these things?" Professor Snape asked in a low voice. His eyes were full of inquiry. He had to figure out Moon's true identity to ensure the safety of Hogwarts.
Chapter 129 Exciting Snape
Moon looked at Professor Snape's probing gaze, knowing he had to give Professor Snape a reasonable explanation to dispel his doubts.
Professor Snape was a very cautious man.
He smiled faintly, knowing that the secrets he possessed could not be hidden forever; he had to reveal some of them appropriately to make Professor Snape trust him more.
"Professor, I don't know much more than you; I'm just more sensitive to magic," Moon said in a calm tone. He had not told Snape the secret of his ability to travel through time and space, knowing that revealing it would surely cause greater chaos, and Professor Snape might not even be able to accept this fact. He had to protect his secret to avoid unnecessary trouble.
"I can feel the power contained within these magical items, as well as their danger," Moon continued, intending to use this method to explain his abilities. He hoped Professor Snape would understand that he was not an ordinary child; he possessed extremely powerful abilities, and his perceptions far exceeded those of ordinary people.
"As for my identity, I am just an ordinary student. Everything I do is to protect what I cherish," Moon finally added. He hoped Professor Snape would believe him, that everything he did was for Hogwarts, for the peace of the magical world. He was not a person with ulterior motives; everything he did was to uphold justice.
Professor Snape looked at Moon's calm eyes, and his heart began to waver. He knew that Moon was not an ordinary child, and the power he possessed had far exceeded his imagination.
He took a deep breath, placed the Advanced Spell Theoryback on the table, and said in a slightly softer tone, "Alright, Mr. White, I believe you. But you must remember that the power you possess also contains great danger. You must be careful and cautious to avoid being controlled by it."
He knew that all he could do was trust Moon and do his best to help Moon improve his magic. He wanted Moon to grow quickly so he could help him revive Lily sooner.
"Thank you, Professor," Moon smiled faintly, knowing that Professor Snape had believed him. He was grateful for Professor Snape's trust and knew he had to repay Professor Snape's recognition with even more diligent action. He wanted Professor Snape to see his growth and progress.
Moon put the holy dragon potion containing the Killing Curse and the crystal back into his pocket. He knew he had to resolve these hidden dangers as soon as possible to completely eliminate future worries. He knew that these magical items were very dangerous, and he had to treat them carefully to avoid being harmed by them.
Just then, Moon suddenly thought of something. He opened his eyes and looked at Professor Snape, saying with a hint of excitement, "Oh, Professor, I've found that my mastery of Time-Space Power has improved greatly. Perhaps I'll be able to help you revive Lily very soon."
As soon as Moon finished speaking, Professor Snape's body trembled violently. His gloomy face instantly showed a shocked expression, his body began to tremble slightly, and his eyes turned red.
He could clearly feel that what Moon said was real. He knew that Moon possessed powerful Time-Space Powerand might really be able to revive Lily. The hope that had been suppressed deep within his heart was rekindled.
"You... are you telling the truth? Can you really revive Lily?" Professor Snape asked in a trembling voice, filled with both expectation and unease. He seemed afraid that this was just a dream, afraid that everything he hoped for would shatter like a reflection in a mirror.
Moon looked at Professor Snape's excited expression and showed a faint smile. He knew that Professor Snape's love for Lily was so profound, and he knew he had to help Professor Snape fulfill his long-cherished wish.
"Yes, Professor, I believe I will be able to do it very soon," Moon said with a confident tone. His eyes were full of self-assurance. He knew that the Time-Space Power he possessed was so powerful, and he believed he would definitely be able to revive Lily. He wanted Professor Snape to find happiness again.
Professor Snape's body trembled even more violently upon hearing Moon's words, and his eyes filled with excitement and joy. He opened his mouth but couldn't say anything. He felt as if his throat was blocked by something, unable to express his true feelings in words. His heart was full of gratitude and anticipation; he had waited for this day for too long.
He walked in front of Moon and clasped Moon's hand tightly with trembling hands. His voice became somewhat choked: "Thank you, Moon, thank you..."
He knew he had to do everything in his power to help Moon improve his magic. He wanted Moon to become a true powerhouse so he could fulfill his wish and bring Lilyback to his side.
After bidding farewell to Professor Snape, Moon returned to his dormitory. His heart was still a little uneasy. He knew that Voldemort's conspiracy had not ended, and he had to remain vigilant at all times to deal with whatever was to come.
He placed the holy dragon potion and the crystal on the table, his gaze sweeping back and forth between the two. His mind began to ponder how to use these two powerful magical items to enhance his strength. He knew that the power he possessed was far from enough, and he had to quickly improve his strength to cope with everything that was to come. He had to become stronger to protect everything he cherished.
He slowly closed his eyes and entered a meditative state. He wanted to raise his spirit to the highest level, to make his power even stronger, and to make himself unassailable.
He knew he still had a long way to go; he had to become even stronger.
Chapter 130: Room of Requests
Moon left Professor Snape's office, his mind filled with countless thoughts.
He wanted to deal with Voldemort, that terrorist, as soon as possible. It seemed there was a Horcrux in the Room of Requirement: Ravenclaw's Diadem.
He thought of the Weasley twins, Fred and George. He knew they would definitely know where the Room of Requirement was.
He decided to find Ron and have Ron introduce him to his twin brothers. He knew Ron would definitely help him.
Moon found Ron playing chess in the common room and told him his idea.
Ron's face showed a surprised expression after hearing Moon's words. He had never expected Moon to want to cooperate with his twin brothers. He knew Fred and George were a pair of guys who loved pranks, and he was worried Moon wouldn't get along with them.
"Moon, are you really going to find them? They both love playing pranks," Ron said with some concern. He didn't want Moon to be tricked by his brothers.
"It's okay, Ron, I trust them." Moon smiled slightly. He knew that although Fred and George loved pranks, they were also very talented people. He believed they could help him achieve his goals.
"Alright, since you're so insistent, I'll take you to meet them then," Ron said helplessly. He knew that once Moon made a decision, it was hard to change his mind. He could only choose to support Moon, believing that everything Moondid had his reasons.
Ron led Moon to the Gryffindor common room. He found Fred and George sitting on the sofa, tinkering with some strange magic props. Both of them wore funny glasses, and their faces held cunning smiles, as if they were brewing some kind of conspiracy.
"Fred, George, this is my friend, Moon White. He wants to talk to you about a collaboration," Ron said to his brothers.
Fred and George looked up when they heard Ron, curiously observing Moon. Their eyes were full of scrutiny, as if they were trying to guess who Moon really was and why he wanted to collaborate with them.
Moon looked at the twins before him. He knew they were very clever and had excellent business acumen. He had to use a more direct approach to win them over.
"I know you're making some magic props, and I also know you've always wanted to open your own shop, but you lack the startup capital," Moon said straightforwardly. He knew that what Fred and George needed most was capital. As long as he could meet their needs, they would definitely agree to his request.
Fred and George's faces showed surprise when they heard Moon's words. They hadn't expected Moon to understand them so well. They also knew that everything Moon said was true; they had always wanted to open their own shop but lacked sufficient funds.
Moon pulled a money bag from his pocket and poured all the Galleons inside onto the table. The glittering Galleons shone brightly under the light.
"Here are one hundred Galleons. I am willing to invest in you and do business with you," Moon said in a calm tone. His eyes were full of confidence. He knew that everything he did was worthwhile, and he believed that Fred and George would definitely cooperate with him.
Fred and George's eyes instantly lit up when they saw the mountain of Galleons on the table. Their faces broke into excited smiles. They had never expected anyone to appreciate their magic props so much and be willing to invest in them.
"That's fantastic! You really have great foresight, Mr. Moon!" Fred said excitedly, his tone filled with eagerness. He seemed to already see his glorious future.
"Exactly! We've always known our magic props would be popular! Mr. Moon, you're truly our kindred spirit!" Georgeechoed, looking at Moon with adoring eyes. He thought Moon was a very clever person and enjoyed being around smart people.
"It's a pleasure to work with you," Moon said with a slight smile. He knew that everything he had done was correct; he had successfully established a partnership with the Weasley twins.
"So, Mr. Moon, what exactly brings you to us this time?" Fred asked. He knew Moon wouldn't invest in them for no reason; he must have his own agenda.
"I need your help with something. I want to know the location of the Room of Requirement and how to open it," Moon said directly. He didn't want to beat around the bush with them; he knew that only by being honest could true trust be built.
Fred and George's faces showed confusion when they heard Moon's words. They had never expected Moon to know about the existence of the Room of Requirement. They knew the Room of Requirement was a very mysterious place; it only appeared when needed, and its location was also random.
"The Room of Requirement? How do you know about that place?" George asked curiously, his eyes full of inquiry. He wanted to know why Moon knew so much about Hogwarts' secrets.
Moon smiled slightly. He couldn't reveal everything he knew; he had to hide some things appropriately to avoid unnecessary trouble.
"I've only read some related accounts in books. I just want to go there and see if there's anything interesting," Moonexplained. He didn't tell them about his intention to search for Ravenclaw's Diadem.
"Alright, in that case, we'll tell you. The Room of Requirement is on the eighth floor of Hogwarts, in the corridor opposite the tapestry of Barnabas the Barmy. You just need to think about what you want and walk back and forth three times in the corridor, and the door will appear," Fred said. He knew Moon was a very interesting person, and he was looking forward to what interesting things Moon would discover in the Room of Requirement.
"Thank you," Moon said with a smile. He knew he had gotten what he wanted. Next, he would head to the Room of Requirement to search for Ravenclaw's Diadem.
After bidding farewell to the Weasley twins, Moon left the Gryffindor common room. He arrived on the eighth floor of Hogwarts, in the corridor opposite the tapestry of Barnabas the Barmy.
He thought of the junk room where Ravenclaw's Diademwas kept, and as he thought, he walked back and forth three times in the corridor.
Just as he finished his third walk, a door suddenly appeared before him. The door emitted a faint glow, as if inviting him to enter.
Before Moon could enter, an ethereal voice sounded behind him.
"How did this door appear?"
Moon turned around and saw Luna behind him. She was still wearing her peculiar clothes, and her silver-grey eyes were full of curiosity. She seemed interested in everything.
Moon looked at Luna and smiled slightly. He knew that he and Luna shared a special connection, seemingly always meeting in unexpected places.
"I'm looking for some things, so I came here," Moon said to Luna. He knew Luna was a very special person and he didn't want to hide anything from her.
"I'm looking for something too," Luna said, looking at Moonwith curious eyes, her face showing a puzzled expression.
"What are you looking for?" Moon asked. He wanted to know what Luna was searching for.
"My shoes are missing," Luna said in a calm tone. She looked at her feet; she was walking barefoot.
Moon only then noticed that Luna was walking barefoot.
"What's going on now?" Moon said helplessly.
"Perhaps they ran off to play. I want to go in and look for them," Luna said, pointing at the door. Her tone held a hint of anticipation; she seemed very eager to enter the Room of Requirement to search for her lost shoes.
Moon looked at Luna and found he couldn't refuse her.
"Alright, let's go in together," Moon said to Luna. This peculiar little fairy was quite interesting.
