HP: Copy the Properties of the Magic Stone at the Beginning

Chapter 1: Traveling Through Time

The morning sun streamed through the tattered curtains, casting light on the floor, and a faint smell of mildew hung in the air.

Moon opened his eyes, staring at the cracked ceiling, his brows slightly furrowed.

"Where am I?"

He instinctively sat up, his gaze quickly sweeping around.

It was a simple room: a low ceiling, a wooden floor covered in scratches, and a windowsill piled with old clothes and toys.

The sunlight made the room seem messy and lonely.

Looking down at his tender hands, his heart skipped a beat.

He quickly got up and walked to the broken mirror in the corner of the room; reflected in the mirror was a completely unfamiliar face—

Soft black hair hung down, and silver-white eyes gleamed with a cold light.

Even with a youthful face, there was a hint of sternness and heroism.

His features were so exquisite they seemed unreal, as if every line was a meticulously carved work of art.

The boy in the mirror, though thin, possessed the aura of a priceless treasure.

"This... is me?" He touched his face, the cold sensation confirming that this was not a dream.

"I'm too handsome, aren't I?" Moon's mouth twitched, and he couldn't help but mutter, "With this face, even Leonardo DiCaprio and Justin Bieber from my previous life would have to step aside."

But his calm nature quickly brought his attention back to the main point: "I transmigrated?"

Pushing open the door, he heard children's laughter from downstairs.

Moon slowly walked down the stairs, the creaking of the steps echoing with his footsteps.

The air was filled with a faint scent of milk, and several children were gathered around a long table in the dining room, eating breakfast.

"Good morning, Moon." A kind old woman poked her head out from the kitchen, greeting him gently.

"Good morning, Matron." Moon responded gracefully and sat down at the long table.

He picked up a piece of bread from his plate and took a bite, then paused—it was as hard as a brick.

"Is this meant to train your teeth?" he silently grumbled, but maintained a polite smile on his face.

While eating the bread, he looked around. Several children were scrambling for a worn-out leather ball, their joyful laughter filling the entire room.

The sunlight fell on their faces, highlighting their innocent smiles.

"This is an orphanage, and I am clearly a member here." Moon analyzed the situation while continuing to gnaw on the "brick bread."

Although he had the body of an eleven-year-old, Moon's mental age was clearly much more mature.

After quickly assessing the situation, he came to a conclusion: "Next, it's time for the golden finger to appear, isn't it?"

Early the next morning, sunlight streamed into the dining room through the window. As Moon sat down, the Matronwalked in with a letter.

"Moon, this is your letter." She handed him the letter.

Moon looked down at the envelope, made of rough parchment, sealed with a wax stamp bearing a large "H."

His gaze slightly narrowed, and a faint anticipation arose in his heart. He quickly tore open the envelope, pulled out the letter inside, and familiar handwriting jumped into view:

Dear Mr. Moon White:

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted as a first-year student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please refer to the enclosed list of items, prepare the necessary supplies, and take the Hogwarts Express from Platform 9 ¾ at King's Cross Station, London, by September 1st.

Yours sincerely,

Professor Minerva McGonagall

Deputy Headmistress

"Hogwarts?" Moon read the name in the letter, his pupils slightly contracting.

He placed the letter on the table, his gaze falling out the window, a huge wave stirring in his heart.

"Hogwarts!"

"So, I transmigrated into the world of 'Harry Potter'…"

As a reader familiar with the "Harry Potter" series, he quickly realized he was in a world full of magic and miracles.

He gripped the letter, a complex emotion welling up in his heart, unsure of where the plot was currently.

As he was processing this information, a cold, mechanical voice suddenly sounded in his mind:

"Key item detected: Hogwarts acceptance letter."

"System activating... Loading complete."

Moon was slightly startled, then quickly calmed down.

He quickly looked around, confirming that the voice was directly in his mind and not coming from outside.

"Welcome to the 'infinite talent system.'"

"System function: By completing tasks, you are rewarded with talent replication attempts, which can be used to extract the target's characteristics for your own use."

A translucent interface appeared before him:

["Host Information

• Name: Moon White

• System Level: 1

• Age: 11 years old

• Character magic: 55

• Character Talent: None

• Talent Replication Attempts: 0

Task List

• Current Task: Go to the Leaky Cauldron and successfully enter Diagon Alley.

Reward: White Replication Talent × 1."]

Moon carefully scanned the panel, his gaze lingering on the words "White Replication Talent," and he silently thought, "Replication Talent... What does that mean?"

Immediately after, the system's mechanical voice sounded, explaining:

"White Replication Talent function description: White Replication Talent allows the host to extract one basic characteristic of a target within a 10-meter radius. The range of characteristics includes attributes of magical items or creatures. After extraction, the host will permanently gain that characteristic."

Moon narrowed his eyes, countless possibilities quickly forming in his mind.

"For example, if it's a broom, can I replicate its flying characteristic?" he asked tentatively.

"Correct answer."

"If it's a cat, can I replicate its night vision ability?"

"Yes."

Moon's lips slowly curved into a smile: "Indeed, it's a very interesting ability."

Following the address indicated in the letter, Moon soon set off for London.

He stood at the entrance of the Leaky Cauldron, watching the Muggles passing by without seeing it, then looked up at the sign that read "The Leaky Cauldron," and softly said, "This is it."

Pushing open the door, a rich scent of butterbeer wafted out.

The pub's lighting was dim, and several Wizards in robes gathered in small groups, conversing in low tones. The walls were adorned with strange magic items.

Moon slowly walked in, his silver-white eyes particularly striking in the dim light, drawing side glances from some Wizards. He paid no attention to these gazes and quietly walked towards the counter.

"You're a new Hogwarts student too, aren't you?" A deep, gruff voice came from behind him.

Moon turned around and saw a giant man squeezing into the pub.

He had a scruffy beard and was accompanied by a thin, black-haired boy wearing round glasses, with a long, thin lightning-shaped scar on his forehead.

"Hagrid... and Harry Potter."

Moon's lips curved slightly, a meaningful smile in his eyes.

"It seems the plot is just beginning."

Chapter 2 Magic Stone

"I'm Rubeus Hagrid, Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts. You're a new student too, aren't you?"

Hagrid extended his brawny hand, his voice booming with enthusiasm.

"Yes." Moon nodded, his tone calm, his gaze falling on the boy beside Hagrid.

"Hello, I'm Harry, Harry Potter." The scrawny boy smiled in a friendly manner, his voice a little reserved, but his green eyes held a natural warmth.

"Moon White." Moon also smiled faintly, extending his hand to lightly shake Harry's, his movements graceful and unhurried.

Harry carefully observed Moon's silver-white eyes and couldn't help but exclaim, "Your eyes are so beautiful! And… do you also live in the Muggle world?" His voice was full of curiosity and a hint of excitement.

"Yes." Moon nodded, his calm tone carrying a touch of frankness. "I only recently found out I'm a Wizard."

"That's amazing!" Harry's voice suddenly became excited, an irrepressible smile spreading across his face.

His voice was eager, his eyes bright as he said, "I thought I was the only one from the Muggle world! Now we can explore the Wizarding World together!"

Moon smiled faintly, his tone composed, "Then we should discover quite a few interesting things."

He could feel Harry's curiosity about the Wizarding Worldand his anticipation of a new friend, but he neither deliberately sought closeness nor showed aloofness, his words and expressions perfectly balanced.

"We'd better hurry to Diagon Alley to get some school supplies." Hagrid's voice rang out again, full of enthusiasm and urgency. "Time's short, keep up!"

Passing through a brick wall in the Leaky Cauldron's backyard, Hagrid waved his umbrella, tapping several bricks forcefully, muttering, "Three up, two across… that's it."

With the final tap, the brick wall began to move slowly, the bricks sliding apart automatically as if alive.

A few seconds later, a wide and bustling street appeared before them.

Moon stood at the entrance, his gaze slightly narrowed, and he murmured in a low voice, "Is this the Wizarding World?"

The sights on both sides of the street were even more bustling than he had imagined:

Shop signs shimmered with strange lights in the sun, some even moving and making "ding-dong" sounds;

Wizards in various robes hurried past, carrying magical items, while several children gathered in front of a shop window, excitedly pointing at a hovering flying broomstick;

The air was filled with faint scents of spices and gunpowder, mixed with the low hooting of owls.

"Welcome Harry, and Moon, welcome to Diagon Alley." Hagrid smiled, looking down at the two, his voice full of warmth and pride.

"This is incredible!" Harry's voice was filled with wonder, his eyes reluctantly moving from one shop window to another. "I've never seen a place like this."

The system's mechanical voice rang in Moon's mind, cold and emotionless:

"Main quest complete: Successfully entered Diagon Alley. Reward: White Replication Talent × 1."

A translucent virtual interface appeared before Moon's eyes:

[Host Information

• Name: Moon White

• System Current Level: 1.0

• Age: 11 years old

• Personal Talent: None

• Replication Talent Count: White Replication Talent × 1

Task List

(No tasks currently)]

Moon glanced at the system panel, a slight smile curving his lips, and he murmured, "Scan for magical items within range."

The system replied coldly, "Scan range: 10 meters. Detecting targets…"

Soon, the virtual interface updated, displaying the characteristics of nearby magical items:

[[Target Name]: Nimbus 2000 (Flying Broomstick)

Moon scanned the interface and murmured, "Although these characteristics are good, now is not the time to prioritize them."

The Gringotts Trip

"Hagrid, these things look great, but… I don't have any money." Harry's voice was a little low, and he cautiously looked at the shop windows.

"Don't worry, Harry." Hagrid laughed heartily, his voice full of reassurance. "Your parents left you a huge fortune! All that money is in Gringotts."

After speaking, he turned to Moon, a hint of concern in his voice: "We also need to take you to apply for a student loan. Don't worry, Hogwarts students have good benefits."

The three walked through the bustling street and arrived at Gringotts at the end of Diagon Alley.

The pristine white building stood majestically, its spired towers piercing the sky, and its exquisitely carved exterior walls reflected a soft glow in the sunlight.

"Gringotts, the safest place in the Wizarding World!" Hagrid introduced proudly, with a hint of exaggeration in his tone.

Upon entering the main hall, the polished marble floor reflected the light from the crystal chandeliers, and the low murmurs of busy Goblins echoed all around.

Behind the counters, Goblins were busy counting Galleons, occasionally looking up to scan the Wizards in the hall with vigilance.

"Harry, we'll go to your vault first to get some money." Hagrid said, his voice reassuring Harry.

He then turned to Moon: "You apply for your student loan here. If you have any questions, ask the Goblin at the counter."

Moon stood at the counter and quickly completed the loan procedures.

He tentatively asked, "What are the procedures for exchanging gold for Galleons?"

The indifferent Goblin behind the counter looked up and replied, "It can be exchanged, but a handling fee will be charged."

"Understood." Moon nodded, feeling a slight sense of relief.

After about half an hour, Hagrid and Harry returned from the underground vault.

Harry was carrying a small bag, his eyes full of excitement: "I've never seen so much money!"

"Harry's vault is quite rich!" Hagrid said with a laugh, a hint of pride in his voice.

Just then, the system coldly prompted: "Target detected entering range: Philosopher's Stone."

[[Target Name]: Philosopher's Stone

[Talent Characteristics]:

1. Alchemy: Transforms ordinary metals into pure gold.

2. Immortality: Slows aging and maintains life state.

3. magic Amplification: Significantly enhances spell power.]

Moon decisively gave the command: "Replicate the 'Alchemy' characteristic of the Philosopher's Stone."

A warm power surged into his body, and a faint smile touched his lips: "Now, the money problem is solved."

Chapter 3: Alchemy

After leaving Gringotts, Moon and Harry, led by Hagrid, navigated through Diagon Alley, beginning to purchase items for their upcoming Hogwarts life.

The shops on both sides of the alley were still bustling with people, and the displays of magic items in the windows attracted the gaze of every passerby.

The air was filled with the hooting of owls and a mixture of various spices, making one feel both novel and excited.

"We'll go to Flourish and Blotts first to buy textbooks, then we'll get cauldrons and quills," Hagrid said, waving the shopping list in his hand, his voice loud and tinged with excitement, pointing to a shop not far away.

The trio arrived at Flourish and Blotts, where the entrance under the sign was already crowded with Wizard families buying books.

Inside the bookstore, towering shelves were densely packed with books.

Several children weaved between the shelves, holding glowing magic books, their eyes filled with curiosity and excitement.

Harry picked up a copy of "The Dark Arts: A Guide to Self-Protection," flipped through a few pages, and exclaimed excitedly, "These books are really cool! Classes are going to be so much fun!"

"If you like reading, that is," Moon interjected with a smile, casually picking up "An Introduction to Spells."

After flipping through a few pages, he put the book back on the shelf, calmly adding, "However, the content of classes is usually more boring than it looks."

Harry widened his eyes and stared at him, his tone half-surprised, half-skeptical, "Are you trying to scare me?"

"Not really, just a reminder," Moon said with a slight smile, his tone appearing at ease.

After leaving Flourish and Blotts, they went to the cauldron shop and the quill shop.

In the cauldron shop, Harry excitedly pointed to a black tin cauldron, asking the shop assistant curiously, "Can this thing really be used for brewing potions?"

The shop assistant pushed up his glasses and said in a somewhat professional tone, "Of course, this is standard for students. Advanced potion masters use silver or gold cauldrons, but they're not cheap."

Hagrid laughed heartily, patting Harry's shoulder, his voice jovial, "This student one will keep you busy enough! You're not Snape, after all."

Harry was a bit confused, "Who is Snape?"

"You'll find out when you get to Hogwarts," Hagrid said with a knowing smile, but did not elaborate.

The group quickly purchased most of the items on the list.

Harry clutched a pile of things, his face filled with excitement and anticipation.

"Alright, only wands left!" Hagrid checked the time, then suddenly stopped, a hint of hesitation on his face.

He said somewhat vaguely, "But... you two go to Ollivander's first, I have something to take care of."

Harry asked curiously, "What is it?"

"Just a small matter," Hagrid said, waving his hand dismissively, "Ollivander's fine wand shop is the best. Remember, wait for me in the shop after you've bought your wands. I'll be back soon."

"Alright," Harry nodded, still a bit confused, but agreed nonetheless.

Ollivander's wand shop was located in a corner of Diagon Alley, its exterior appearing old and understated, yet exuding an air of solemnity.

An ancient inscription on the wooden sign at the shop's entrance read: "Ollivanders: Makers of Fine Wands Since 382 B.C."

Harry stood at the entrance, looking up at the sign, his voice tinged with anticipation and nervousness, "Is this where you buy wands?"

"Yes," Moon nodded, then turned to Harry and said, his tone somewhat casual, "But Harry, you go in first. I just realized I left something in the previous shop and need to go back for it."

"Ah?" Harry hesitated, a hint of unease in his voice, "Then hurry back, I'll hold your things for you first."

"Okay," Moon handed the items in his hand to Harry, smiling slightly, his voice gentle and assured, "I'll be back very soon."

Watching Harry push open the door and enter the wand shop, Moon turned and left, his steps steady and swift. A hint of shrewdness flashed in his eyes.

He knew that what he had to do next required careful consideration.

Moon walked along Diagon Alley to a secluded alleyway, where it was silent except for the distant sounds of commotion.

He looked around, and after confirming no one was following him, he bent down and picked up several stones of varying sizes from the ground, quickly stuffing them into his pocket.

He stood against the wall and whispered, "Alchemy."

As a faint warm current flowed from his body into the stones, the stones in his pocket gradually became cold and heavy.

Moon reached into his pocket, and his fingertips no longer touched rough stones, but pieces of gold.

He took one out, bit it lightly, then a slight smile played on his lips, "It's sweet, as expected." His tone carried a mix of satisfaction and amusement.

He secretly congratulated himself for choosing the "Alchemy" trait, replicating the Philosopher's Stone, at Gringotts.

The effect of Alchemy completely exceeded his expectations; this ability not only resolved his current financial difficulties but also provided him with more options for his future in the magic world.

Moon soon arrived at the Gringotts lobby. The lobby was still busy, with Goblins engrossed in recording ledgers and counting Galleons.

Moon walked directly to a counter and handed over the gold from his pocket.

The Goblin looked up, his gaze indifferent, "Exchanging for Galleons?"

"Yes," Moon nodded, his tone steady.

The Goblin took the gold from the bag, tapped it a few times with a tool, and after a careful inspection, nodded, "This gold is very pure; it can be exchanged for 50 Galleons. After deducting the handling fee, you can actually exchange it for 45 Galleons."

"That's fine," Moon agreed without hesitation.

A few minutes later, the Goblin handed Moon the Galleons, packaged in a velvet pouch.

The heavy weight brought Moon a sense of satisfaction.

He walked to the loan counter and paid off the student loan he had just taken out ahead of time.

The Goblin behind the counter looked at him in confusion but said nothing.

Moon felt much lighter, "What is borrowed must eventually be repaid; this way, I'll feel more secure in the future."

Putting the remaining 40 Galleons into his pocket, Moonpondered his next plan: "With this money, my quality of life in the magic world will be much better, and I can prepare more for the future."

After leaving Gringotts, Moon entered a magic equipment shop.

The shop's display window was filled with oddly shaped items, among which an inconspicuous small cloth pouch caught his attention.

"What is this bag for?" Moon asked, pointing to the cloth pouch, a hint of curiosity in his voice.

The shop assistant immediately introduced it enthusiastically, "This is one of our most popular items, the Extendable Pocket. It has an Expansion Charm, and its internal space can hold items ten times its own size, making it very suitable for students."

"How much?" Moon asked, his tone calm yet decisive.

"10 Galleons."

Moon pulled out 10 Galleons from his pocket and handed them over, not at all concerned about the price.

After getting the Extendable Pocket, he immediately put the purchased school supplies and the remaining Galleons into it.

He lifted it, feeling it was much lighter.

"Not bad," Moon said contentedly, his voice now carrying a hint of affirmation for this purchase.

After organizing everything, Moon quickly walked back to Ollivander's wand shop.

His steps were light, and his face maintained a calm expression, but his silver-white eyes sparkled with anticipation for the magic world.

Standing at the shop's entrance, he took a deep breath and pushed open the ancient wooden door.

A crisp bell rang, the scent of wood wafted over, and the wands in the display case lay silently, awaiting their masters.

Chapter 4: Wand

A crisp ringing sound accompanied the creak of the wooden door being pushed open, and a warm, woody scent filled Ollivander's wand shop.

As soon as Moon entered, he saw Harry standing at the counter, holding a newly chosen wand.

It was a slender wand, slightly curved at the end, with a smooth and deep wooden surface.

Just as Harry lightly waved it, a golden glow emanated from the wand's tip, instantly enveloping Harry's entire body, and the halo spread out like the warm morning sun.

A gentle breeze wafted from all directions, rustling the open pages on the counter and softly lifting the hem of Harry's clothes.

The entire room instantly fell silent, with only the golden light quietly flowing.

"Oh… it's magnificent, truly magnificent!" Ollivander's voice was filled with disbelief, tinged with a strange and somewhat awestruck tone.

Hearing this, Harry turned to look at Ollivander, his face full of bewilderment: "Sorry, but what do you mean, magnificent?"

Ollivander's gaze was focused, his voice lowered, but with a solemnity: "Harry, this wand, holly, Phoenix feather, eleven inches. This is a very special wand… Its core feather came from a Phoenix, and that Phoenix only provided two feathers."

He paused, his voice slightly hushed, as if recounting a heavy secret: "The other feather is the core of the wand belonging to the owner of that scar on your forehead."

Harry's eyes widened, his lips slightly parted, clearly too shocked by this news to know how to respond.

"So you see, Harry…" Ollivander's tone was complex, with a hint of underlying worry in his eyes, "The wand chooses the Wizard, and this wand… has an unbreakable connection to that evil wand."

Moon stood at the doorway, looking at the silent Harry, and said in a low voice: "This wand chose you, no matter who its core is connected to, it is yours now."

Harry turned to look at Moon, with a hint of hesitation in his eyes: "But… don't you think this sounds very ominous?"

Moon took a step closer, his voice low and calm: "Perhaps. But if it chose you, it means you have the potential to make it shine. Don't forget, the wand chooses the Wizard."

Harry stared at the wand in his hand, a faint smile slowly appearing on his lips as he softly said: "Thank you, Moon. You're right."

Moon nodded slightly, gently patting Harry's shoulder: "There will always be a unique story for you, Harry."

Ollivander turned to look at Moon, his eyes filled with enthusiasm: "Come on, young man, it's your turn. Let's find a wand that belongs to you!"

Moon nodded and walked to the counter.

His gaze swept over the neatly arranged wand boxes on the shelves, and he vaguely felt that choosing a wand would not be as simple as it looked.

Ollivander took a dark brown wand from the shelf and handed it to Moon: "Try this one, mahogany, dragon heartstring, nine inches, good flexibility."

Moon grasped the wand, and just as he raised his hand, a harsh, sharp sound emanated from the wand, like a protest of discontent.

Ollivander quickly took the wand back, shaking his head: "Clearly not right, this wand doesn't like you."

Next, he took another one from the shelf and handed it to Moon: "Maple, Unicorn hair, twelve inches, excellent flexibility."

Moon gently held the wand and waved it, but there was no reaction at all, just like an ordinary stick of wood.

"Hmm… a picky little fellow." A hint of excitement flashed in Ollivander's eyes; he seemed to find this complex selection process quite interesting.

Wand boxes were opened one by one, and then put back one by one.

Moon tried six or seven wands, but without exception, none of them worked.

Some wands emitted a sharp hum as soon as he held them, while others had no reaction at all, as if protesting their owner.

Harry, standing nearby, couldn't help but speak, trying to comfort Moon: "It's okay, Moon, it took me several tries to find the right one too. It just… means you're more special."

Moon looked at the wand in his hand, his tone tinged with a helpless self-deprecation: "But too special, perhaps."

Ollivander said with a smile: "Don't rush, don't rush. Sometimes, the hardest wands to choose often have the deepest bond with their owners."

With that, he walked to a corner behind the counter, carefully took down a dusty box, his movements cautious, and his tone became solemn: "Try this one."

Ollivander opened the box, revealing a silver-grey wand with a delicate metallic sheen on its surface, like an exquisite work of art.

The wand was streamlined, with delicate patterns carved on the handle, and a small, transparent crystal embedded at the end.

"This is laurel wood, Phoenix feather, thirteen inches." Ollivander said slowly, with a hint of reverence in his voice, "It's very unique, but also very picky."

The moment Moon took the wand, a warm energy emanated from his palm, quickly spreading throughout his body.

The wand emitted a soft silver glow, and a faint whisper of wind seemed to pass through the air.

Harry, standing nearby, couldn't help but exclaim softly: "Wow… it's beautiful." His voice was full of envy.

Moon looked down at the silver-grey wand in his hand, his tone calm and certain: "It's very special, I like it very much."

Ollivander nodded with satisfaction: "It seems this wand has found its owner."

Just then, a familiar sound of footsteps came from outside the door.

Immediately after, Hagrid strode in, carrying a cage with a pure white owl inside.

"Happy birthday, Harry!" Hagrid grinned, handing the cage to Harry, "This is my gift to you, it will be a good companion."

"Wow, that's amazing!" Harry's face showed unconcealed joy as he stared intently at the owl in the cage, "Thank you, Hagrid!"

"No problem, no problem." Hagrid waved his hand, then turned to Moon, his gaze falling on the silver-grey wand in his hand, his tone tinged with curiosity: "Oh, Moon, have you chosen your wand? It looks very special."

"Yes, just chose it." Moon nodded, a hint of relief in his voice.

"Alright, two young Wizards, it's time for us to get something to eat." Hagrid waved his large hand, his voice booming, "You must both be hungry after a busy morning!"

The three left Ollivander's wand shop and walked towards a restaurant in Diagon Alley.

The sunlight fell on them, dispelling the summer heat, and the air was filled with the aroma of food.

Moon looked down at the silver-grey wand in his hand, a slight smile playing on his lips.

Chapter 5 Improving the Orphanage

In a restaurant in Diagon Alley, Hagrid shared a sumptuous dinner with Moon and Harry.

The table was laden with Butterbeer, pumpkin pasties, and fragrant steaks. Harry, holding the cage with his snow-white owl, had a face full of joy.

"Harry, this owl will be your good companion!" Hagridgrinned, his tone full of pride.

"Thank you, Hagrid!" Harry looked up, his voice filled with unconcealed gratitude, "It's truly wonderful."

"No problem, no problem! You two are new students at Hogwarts, you need to prepare well." Hagrid said, taking a hearty gulp of Butterbeer.

After dinner, the three left the restaurant, walked through Diagon Alley, and returned to the Leaky Cauldron.

Hagrid escorted Harry to a carriage, instructing the coachman to take him home safely.

Before getting into the carriage, Harry turned to Moon, his eyes shining with anticipation: "Moon, remember to arrive early at King's Cross Station on September 1st. I heard Platform 9 ¾ is very special, we need to gather early."

"Of course." Moon nodded, a hint of ease in his voice, "We'll meet at the station at 10 AM on the 1st."

"Okay, see you at the station!" Harry smiled, waved, and then climbed into the carriage.

Only after seeing Harry get into the carriage did Hagridrelax and pat Moon's shoulder.

"Moon, it's time for us to part ways." Hagrid's voice held reluctance, yet also a hint of relief, "Don't forget, September 1st, King's Cross Station, Platform 9 ¾, don't be late!"

"I won't forget." Moon nodded, his tone resolute.

Hagrid turned and walked towards the other end of the alley, his massive figure disappearing into the dim yellow light.

Moon glanced at the departing carriage, then turned and walked towards the orphanage.

In the dead of night at the orphanage, the dim yellow light spilled onto the wooden floor, and the air was filled with a faint, damp smell.

Most of the children were already asleep; only the Matronwas still in the kitchen clearing dishes.

Moon put down his luggage and walked directly to the Matron, taking a heavy small pouch from his pocket and handing it over.

"Matron, these are for you." Moon's voice was calm, but his gaze held a hint of determination.

The Matron put down the bowl she was holding and looked at the pouch in confusion: "What is this?" She took the pouch, opened it, and her eyes widened instantly.

It was full of glittering Galleons, their dazzling shine momentarily stunning her.

"Moon… where did these come from?" The Matron's voice trembled, a hint of fear in her tone.

"Don't worry, these are legitimate." Moon said calmly, "I am a wizard now, and these are poverty subsidies from Hogwarts. The school's teachers asked me to give you this money to improve the orphanage's living conditions."

"A wizard?" The Matron froze, her face full of disbelief, "You… where did you learn all these things? What Hogwarts?"

Moon patiently explained: "Hogwarts is the best school of magic in Britain, and I'll be starting school on September 1st. As for these Galleons, they are subsidies from the school, meant to help children from less fortunate families like mine."

"Didn't I receive a letter some time ago? That was the Hogwarts acceptance letter."

"This… how is this possible…" The Matron stared at the Galleons in the pouch, her brows furrowed, clearly finding it hard to believe.

"Matron, I know this sounds strange, but I promise it's true." Moon took a Galleon from the pouch and placed it on the table, saying earnestly, "These are pure gold currency and can be exchanged for pounds at the bank. You can use them to repair the orphanage and make life better for the children."

The Matron looked at Moon, her gaze complex, and said with a mixture of belief and doubt: "You truly… I don't know what to say."

Moon lowered his head, a hint of gratitude in his voice: "You have always taken good care of me, and of the other children. This money is the smallest return I can give to the orphanage."

The Matron took a deep breath and finally nodded: "All right, I'll accept it. But Moon, you must be careful, I don't want you to get into trouble because of these things."

"I will." Moon smiled slightly and returned to his room.

Over the next month, Moon's life returned to peace.

The system did not issue new tasks, and he spent more time practicing magic and improving himself.

During the day, he would help the Matron tidy rooms and look after the children;

And at night, he would quietly take out his wand and repeatedly practice simple spells in his dimly lit room.

From theoretical knowledge to practical application, he quickly mastered four basic spells:

Levitation Charm: Makes objects float, one of the most basic spells.

Alohomora: Used to open ordinary locks, simple but practical.

Lumos: Makes the tip of the wand glow, illuminating darkness.

Repairing Charm: Repairs broken items, very suitable for daily use.

Each time he successfully cast a new spell, Moon could feel his growth.

His wand also became more comfortable to use, as if it had truly become a part of his body.

In addition to practicing spells, Moon also visited Gringottsmultiple times, using Alchemy to exchange for gold.

Each time, he would choose a secluded corner, and after confirming it was safe, he would cast Alchemy, turning ordinary stones into pure gold.

Within a month, his account balance grew from an initial few dozen Galleons to tens of thousands of Galleons, making him a not-insignificant depositor at Gringotts.

This feeling of affluence brought Moon a sense of satisfaction, but he did not become complacent.

"Money can solve most problems, but it cannot replace true power." Moon thought silently, looking at the silver-grey wand in his hand.

With the money, the living conditions of the orphanage greatly improved.

The Matron used the money to repair the dilapidated roof, purchase new furniture and toys, and even hired a chef to specially prepare nutritious meals for the children.

Smiles appeared on the children's faces, and cheers echoed in the courtyard.

They wore brand new clothes, played with newly bought footballs and toys, and the entire orphanage was filled with vitality.

The Matron looked at everything before her, her eyes full of gratitude.

She found Moon, gently patted his shoulder, and said with emotion: "Moon, you are truly the orphanage's lucky star. Thank you."

Moon just smiled, his voice calm: "It's what I should do. You raised me."

In the blink of an eye, a month had passed.

On the morning of September 1st, Moon stood by the window, watching the sunlight spread across the land.

He felt a hint of reluctance, but also a great deal of anticipation.

He picked up his wand, recalling his efforts over the past month.

Whether it was practicing spells or accumulating wealth, he had prepared well for his upcoming life at Hogwarts.

Chapter 6 King's Cross Station

On the morning of September 1st, London's streets were still bustling, and the entrance to King's Cross Station was crowded with hurried travelers.

Sunlight filtered through the early autumn clouds onto the square, and the cool air was mixed with car exhaust and the scent of coffee.

Moon stood in front of the station entrance, pushing a brand-new luggage cart, took a deep breath, and felt this world full of life.

His suitcase was inlaid with delicate silver decorations, and a small black leather pouch was fastened to the handle, containing all his school supplies and his magic wand.

"This time it's different," Moon whispered to himself, a slight smile playing on his lips.

He truly couldn't get used to the orphanage days, wearing worn-out clothes and dragging a shabby suitcase, but fortunately, he had already improved the orphanage's living conditions.

Stepping into the station, he was immediately captivated by the sight before him.

Several giant clocks hung from the high Dome, their hands steadily turning;

The broadcast looped train schedule announcements, and travelers dragging luggage hurried past; some shouted, "Hurry, or you'll miss the train!" while others stood in place, waving goodbye to recently departed friends and family.

Moon pushed his luggage cart, blending into the bustling crowd.

An indescribable excitement surged within him: he was about to step into a brand-new world, a world of magic he had always dreamed of.

The platform numbers extended from 1 onwards, and Moon pushed his luggage through the crowded hall, finally arriving at the area between Platforms 9 and 10.

At this moment, his gaze suddenly fell upon a familiar figure—a thin, black-haired boy standing still, tightly gripping the handle of his luggage cart, looking around, appearing somewhat helpless.

"Harry," Moon whispered, confirming that this was the person he was looking for. He quickened his pace, walking over and stopping beside Harry.

"Moon!" The tension in Harry's eyes quickly receded the moment he saw him, and a relaxed expression appeared on his face. "That's great, you're here."

"Looks like you haven't found that mysterious platform either," Moon smiled, patting Harry's shoulder, his voice calm with a hint of teasing.

"Yeah," Harry gave a wry smile, his fingers tightening slightly on the handle of his luggage. "I walked around, and I have no idea where Platform 9 and three-quarters is."

"Don't worry," Moon comforted him. "We'll definitely find it."

Just as Moon was about to look around for clues, a burst of laughter from nearby caught his attention.

He followed the direction of the sound and saw a middle-aged couple and a chubby boy walking from the direction of the platform.

They were dressed in ordinary clothes, but the man's demeanor seemed somewhat aggressive, while the woman tightly clutched the boy's wrist, as if afraid he would run off.

The chubby boy waved a chocolate bar in one hand, mumbling something indistinctly, his face showing a spoiled and triumphant expression.

The middle-aged woman gently soothed the chubby boy, while the man walked straight towards the exit without looking aside.

Moon frowned slightly, his gaze sweeping over the family of three, then turning to Harry beside him.

"Those are your family, right?" Moon asked calmly, his voice devoid of any emotion.

Harry lowered his head, his voice almost inaudible: "Yes, they just dropped me off."

Moon did not press further but continued to look at the family of three.

Impressions of them quickly flashed through his mind: the uncle was always stern and prejudiced, the aunt was a woman who fiercely upheld family appearances, and Dudley, from his appearance to his behavior, perfectly embodied the definition of "selfish."

"They are indeed excessive, but not entirely useless," Moonthought, recalling Harry's descriptions and his own memories of orphanage life.

He knew that although Dudley's family was harsh on Harry, they at least provided him with a place to live, never truly starved him, and certainly never completely abandoned him.

He remembered in the movie when Harry received his acceptance letter, the uncle thought of the most extreme thing, which was to take Harry and hide far away.

"Their protection of Harry might just stem from their fear of the magic world." Moon's brows furrowed slightly, then he shook his head, shaking off these thoughts.

"So what do we do now?" Harry's voice pulled Moon back from his thoughts.

Moon's gaze fell on the pillar between Platforms 9 and 10, and after a moment of contemplation, he said, "I think the entrance to this mysterious platform should be hidden nearby."

"Hidden nearby?" Harry repeated, confused. "Are you saying we have to walk through this pillar?"

"Perhaps," Moon stroked his chin, his tone carrying a hint of uncertainty. "But this pillar has two sides, who knows which side we should go through?"

Harry looked up at the pillar, then down at his luggage cart, appearing somewhat at a loss.

He raised a hand and pointed to the station staff not far away: "Should we go ask them?"

Moon shook his head, his tone firm: "They are Muggles, they probably can't see this platform. Even if we ask, we might not get an answer."

"Then what should we do?" A hint of anxiety showed in Harry's voice.

"Don't rush, observe," Moon pointed around. "In such a big station, it's impossible for only the two of us to be going to Hogwarts. If there really is an entrance here, there will definitely be other students from the magic world."

The two leaned against the pillar, waiting quietly. People came and went around them, travelers dragging luggage hurried past, and no one paid attention to the two boys.

After a moment, Moon's gaze stopped on a family—a short, plump woman with curly hair and a kind smile, leading four red-haired boys towards them.

"Look over there," Moon whispered to Harry, signaling him to notice the family.

Harry followed Moon's gaze and saw owls on the family's luggage carts, and the youngest boy was pushing a luggage cart, his face full of an excited smile.

"They must be students like us," Harry said with a hint of joy.

"Exactly," Moon nodded, a smile playing on his lips. "Follow them and see how they enter the station."

The two pushed their luggage carts, quietly trailing behind the family.

As the short, plump woman and the four boys approached the brick pillar between Platforms 9 and 10, Moon knew they were about to uncover the secret of Platform 9 and three-quarters.

Moon looked at the ordinary yet mysterious pillar, complex emotions surging within him—anticipation, nervousness, excitement.

After transmigrating to this world, he was finally about to officially step into the true world of magic.

Chapter 7 Hogwarts Express

Travelers hurried through the spacious hall.

The air was filled with a bustling din, train schedules constantly played over the loudspeakers, and the smell of car exhaust and coffee hung everywhere.

Moon and Harry pushed their luggage carts, following behind Ron's family.

"There are always so many Muggles every time," Ron's mother, Molly Weasley, said as she walked, a hint of helplessness in her voice.

"Honestly, Muggles are always such a bother," her tone mixed with annoyance at the crowded Muggle world.

Behind her, Ron and his brothers were all laughing.

"Muggles?" Harry repeated the word softly, a happy expression on his face, and exchanged a look with Moon. "Moon, they really are wizards."

Moon nodded, explaining softly, "Yes, Harry." He then looked at Ron's family, a slight smile in his heart, thinking, "The Weasleys are famous in the wizarding world."

Harry quickened his pace, and Moon followed suit. Mrs. Weasley noticed Harry and Moon and smiled warmly, "Oh, dears, you must be new students at Hogwarts too? Ron is as well." She pointed to the youngest red-haired boy beside her.

Harry nodded slightly and said, "Yes, we don't know how to get in."

"How to get in, you mean?"

"Don't worry," Mrs. Weasley's smile grew even brighter, "Just follow us, and you'll get through."

Moon also said softly, "That's wonderful, thank you."

"Not at all, not at all," Mrs. Weasley warmly replied, "Hurry up, let's go!"

Mrs. Weasley led everyone towards the platform pillars and beckoned to her eldest son, "Percy, you go first."

Percy then pushed his luggage and plunged into the wall, passing straight through.

Although Moon had seen it in movies, witnessing it in reality was still quite shocking. Harry beside him stared wide-eyed, not daring to blink, afraid of missing any detail.

"Fred, it's your turn," Mrs. Weasley urged the boy behind her.

Fred shouted loudly from the side, "I'm not Fred, I'm George!" He walked forward as he shouted, "Mum, how can you not tell us apart? You mistook me!"

Mrs. Weasley was a bit stunned, and realizing her mistake, she immediately comforted him, "Oh, I'm sorry, dear George."

"Just kidding!" Fred waved his hand with a laugh, "I'm Fred." With that, he looked triumphant and quickly walked ahead.

George urged from behind, "Fred, hurry up! You're too slow!"

Moon and Harry exchanged glances and couldn't help but laugh.

"What an interesting family," Moon said to Harry with a smile.

Finally, Mrs. Weasley, Moon, and Harry walked up to the pillar between Platforms 9 and 10. Moon could feel that the pillar didn't seem as ordinary as a regular one.

Next to the seemingly unremarkable pillar, Mrs. Weasley unhesitatingly stepped through.

"Just walk through," Mrs. Weasley said, turning to look at the two of them, "Hurry and follow!"

Moon and Harry didn't hesitate and also stood next to the pillar.

The moment they stepped forward, suddenly, a warm current of air surged from all directions, as if passing through an invisible barrier.

Moon closed his eyes, quickly stepped forward, and with a gentle breeze, the scene before him instantly changed.

When Moon opened his eyes again, he found himself standing in a completely different world.

On both sides of the platform were ancient and towering stone walls, and on the tracks stood a majestic train, its body deep red, with a golden sign prominently displaying: "Hogwarts Express."

"Wow, we're finally here!" Harry looked at the train before him in surprise, his excitement clearly written on his face.

Moon's eyes also sparkled with excitement: "Yes, we're finally standing in the real magic world."

He took a deep breath, pushed his luggage cart towards the train, feeling exceptionally excited inside.

The Hogwarts Express, this was the place he had dreamed of since childhood, and today it had finally come true.

Suddenly, a clear notification sound came from his mind.

"Ding, plot scene detected, mission triggered."

A hint of surprise flashed in Moon's eyes: "Plot scene? Mission?"

"Plot Scene: Hogwarts Express. Current Mission: Go to the Hogwarts Library Restricted Section to check in."

Seeing the system's mission, Moon's heart immediately quickened: "Has it finally come?" He didn't stop, closely following Harry, quickly analyzing in his mind, "Plot scene? It seems that any trigger is related to the original plot."

"It seems I can't go to Ravenclaw," Moon glanced at Harry, "The subsequent trigger missions will very likely require Harry, the protagonist."

He thought of the heaven-defying effect of the Replication Talent and quickly made a decision: "I must join Gryffindorto get more missions."

Fortunately, he had researched the system, the Sorting Hat, and Dumbledore's Legilimency; he wasn't worried at all because his soul was protected by the system, completely countering such spells.

Now he just had to figure out how to sneak into the Restricted Section to complete this mission.

If all else failed, he could just borrow Harry's Invisibility Cloak once he received it, one of the three Deathly Hallows.

The train started, and the compartments gradually became lively.

Moon and Harry found an empty compartment and sat down.

Harry placed the owl cage next to his seat and looked at Moon with a smile: "These past few days, my aunt's family's attitude towards me has changed a bit. They don't dare to bully me as recklessly as before now."

"I understand," Moon nodded with a smile, "Everyone shows a different attitude when facing the unknown."

Harry looked down at his hands, seemingly lost in thought: "It's their fear of the magic world that makes them like this."

Moon smiled slightly, "You are truly kind."

Just then, the compartment door gently knocked, and a red-haired boy stood at the doorway, showing a shy smile: "Hey, can I sit here?"

"Of course!" Harry smiled and waved, "Come in!"

The boy smiled, walked in, and sat down somewhat shyly, then introduced himself: "I'm Ron Weasley."

The train slowly pulled away from King's Cross Station, the scenery outside constantly receding, and the laughter and conversations inside the compartment blended into a single sound.

Chapter 8 Hermione

Inside the train compartment, the aroma of snacks permeated the air, a delightful mix of strong sweetness and chocolate.

Ron excitedly handed a bag of sweets to Harry, a wide smile on his face: "Harry, here, try this! These are the sweets Mum always brings us, they're really good!"

Harry took the sweets, tore open the bag, and a sweet scent immediately wafted out.

Just as he was about to take a bite, his gaze landed on Scabbers, the little rat in Ron's arms.

The little rat sat on Ron's palm, looking endearing, occasionally peeking around, appearing very lively.

A hint of doubt suddenly arose in Harry's heart, but he didn't show it immediately.

"He's really cute," Harry said with a smile, though his eyes involuntarily returned to the little rat.

"Isn't he?" Ron grinned in response, "Mum and Dad never let him out to play, but today he finally gets to go to school with me!"

Moon, sitting nearby, felt a sudden tightening in his heart.

He knew clearly that Scabbers in Ron's hand was not just an ordinary pet rat.

He was actually Peter Pettigrew—the one who truly betrayed Harry's parents.

Even though Scabbers looked harmless now, Moon still couldn't ignore the terrible history he carried.

Peter Pettigrew was not only the true culprit behind the death of Harry's parents, but also one of the key figures in Voldemort's resurrection.

Although he seemed not very powerful in the movies, Moon knew that he was a loyal follower of Voldemort, and even, along with Barty Jr., had once subdued the powerful Auror, Mad-Eye Moody.

Moon was silent for a moment, his mind racing.

If he used Alchemy now, Scabbers would turn into gold, and Ron might like him even more.

But he couldn't take the risk; at present, he was just a student new to the world of magic, and his abilities were far from sufficient to deal with Peter Pettigrew.

Before he had absolute strength, he couldn't let him know that he knew his identity.

As Moon was thinking, Ron excitedly said to Harry and Moon, "Hey, I know a spell to turn Scabbers yellow, want to see?" As he spoke, he picked up his wand, waved it, a smug smile on his face.

"A spell? Really?" Harry looked at Ron with some excitement.

"Of course!" Ron lifted his head, full of confidence, "My brother taught me."

He loudly chanted the spell: "Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow!"

However, after the wand wave, Scabbers remained unchanged, showing no sign of color alteration.

A hint of confusion appeared on Ron's face.

"Huh? Why isn't it working?" Ron looked down at Scabbers, muttering to himself in confusion, "I clearly remember this spell working!"

Moon couldn't help but smile: "Ron, I guess your spell is wrong, or your magic energy isn't strong enough."

"Ah?" Ron looked up, a little embarrassed.

Just then, the compartment door was gently pushed open, and a blonde girl walked in, her gaze sweeping around before finally settling on Harry and Ron.

She seemed a bit anxious, eagerly searching for something. "Excuse me, has anyone seen a toad? I'm looking for him."

Harry and Ron exchanged glances, a little bewildered. Moon then stood up, noticing the girl's demeanor and aura, and his heart stirred slightly.

Isn't this Hermione Granger? The future Minister for Magic, with a resilient character and extraordinary intelligence.

Hermione continued, a bit urgently: "That toad belongs to Neville, he can't find him, and I need to help him get him back."

Hermione noticed Ron had just waved his wand, and a flicker of curiosity appeared in her eyes: "Oh, are you doing magic?"

"Yes!" Ron scratched his head awkwardly, "It just failed."

Hermione immediately laughed: "It seems your spell isn't working." She walked to the seat opposite Harry, and said calmly, "I've practiced a few simple spells at home, watch mine." She smiled slightly, picked up her wand, and chanted: "Repairing Charm."

Under Hermione's wand wave, Harry's glasses immediately became as good as new, without a single crack. Hermione looked proudly at the magic she had performed: "See, Repairing Charm isn't hard."

"Wow, that's amazing!" Ron and Harry exclaimed simultaneously.

Hermione revealed a proud smile: "It's nothing special."

However, Hermione's gaze couldn't help but sweep towards Harry's forehead.

When she saw the scar on Harry's forehead, her expression suddenly froze, her eyes involuntarily becoming uncertain: "You..." she whispered softly, "You are Harry Potter?"

Harry was slightly startled, a little at a loss, and said in a low voice: "Yes, I am Harry."

Hermione's eyes widened, clearly somewhat shocked.

Hermione finally recovered and hurriedly added: "Oh, it's nothing, I'm just... just a little surprised. You're that Harry Potter, the boy who lived?"

"Mhm," Harry nodded, though he felt a bit awkward, he still tried to maintain a smile.

Hermione took a deep breath, forcing herself to calm down: "I never expected to meet you here, what a coincidence. My name is Hermione Granger."

She turned to Moon and smiled: "You're a first-year too, right?"

"Moon White," Moon introduced himself with a smile, already understanding that Hermione was a bookworm. Her confidence and intelligence were already fully displayed at this age.

Finally looking at Ron, "So, you are?"

Ron, holding a half-eaten sweet, said, "My name is Ron Weasley."

"Hello," Hermione forced a smile, then looked at Moonagain: "I need to go find that toad quickly. Thank you all!" With that, she turned to leave.

"Wait," Moon suddenly spoke, "Can you tell me what the toad looks like and what color he is? I might be able to help."

Hermione nodded: "He's a green toad, with some spots, and he's very small."

Moon smiled slightly: "Okay, I understand."

He raised his wand and softly chanted: "Accio toad."

With the wave of the wand, a faint whooshing sound came through the air, and suddenly, a toad flew swiftly from a distance, landing accurately in Moon's hand.

Hermione, Harry, and Ron were all stunned, staring at Moon with wide eyes. Hermione was the first to react, exclaiming in surprise: "You... you actually know Accio!"

"Well," Moon shrugged, a hint of nonchalance on his face, "I know a few other spells too."

Ron and Harry looked at each other, their eyes filled with admiration. Harry excitedly said: "That's amazing, Moon!"

Hermione looked a little dejected, sighing softly: "I've been studying so hard for so long, thinking I could catch up, but I didn't expect you... to be even better than me."

Moon noticed Hermione's disappointment and smiled, comforting her: "Hermione, don't be discouraged. Most first-year students can't even use basic spells. You're already very impressive."

Hermione looked up, a flicker of gratitude in her eyes: "Thank you, Moon. I'll keep working hard."

Holding the toad, she walked forward: "I'm going to find Neville now."

Harry and Ron were also very curious, gathering around to ask: "Moon, besides Accio, what other magic do you know?"

Moon smiled, waved his wand, and demonstrated the Levitation Charm, Alohomora, Lumos, and others. Each of his movements was effortless and natural, earning enthusiastic praise from his two friends.

"Let's get ready, we're almost at the station," Moon looked out the window.

Chapter 9 Teaching Malfoy a Lesson

The Black Lake, tranquil and profound, resembled a colossal mirror, reflecting the majestic silhouette of Hogwarts Castle.

A thin mist floated on the water's surface, and a gentle breeze stirred it, creating shimmering ripples.

Moonlight streamed through gaps in the dark clouds, falling upon the lake and imbuing the atmosphere with a mysterious and serene quality.

Small boats slowly departed from the lake shore, carrying the new Hogwarts students, who gradually approached the bank with the gentle undulations.

Moon, Harry, and Ron sat in the same small boat, following Hagrid's lead.

Hagrid, massive in size, sat at the bow, while the three boys sat at the stern, their gazes fixed on the approaching Hogwarts Castle.

As the small boat slowly traversed the lake, Moonactivated his system scan, beginning to analyze the various magical creatures in the Black Lake and the characteristics of the self-propelled boat.

As the system scan completed, Moon's excitement grew.

Each boat was filled with magic, especially these self-propelled magic boats, which utterly captivated him.

And the mysterious creatures in the Black Lake, though seemingly gentle, Moon knew their threat should not be underestimated.

"Careful, children," Hagrid said, turning back with a smile. "This lake has more than just beautiful scenery; it holds many secrets, especially that Giant Squid. Don't disturb them; they're not too friendly to humans."

"I heard it's the guardian of the Black Lake," Ronwhispered, his eyes filled with curiosity.

"That's right," Hagrid nodded. "But it usually hides at the bottom of the lake and doesn't come out much. Just don't provoke them; their tentacles are terrifyingly big."

The boats continued to move slowly, the lake surface widening, and Hogwarts Castle drawing nearer, like a colossal palace stretching across the horizon.

The castle's towers gleamed under the moonlight, each stone wall seemingly narrating the history and secrets of this ancient institution.

"Look! Hogwarts!" Harry's eyes were filled with excitement and wonder.

"It's truly beautiful," Ron couldn't help but exclaim, his eyes full of curiosity for this mysterious castle.

"We're here, children!" Hagrid's voice rang out with a hint of joy. "Off the boats, let's go."

They ascended the stone steps, passed through the main gate of Hogwarts, and entered a long corridor.

Ancient oil paintings adorned the towering stone walls, their figures lifelike, occasionally greeting passersby.

Chandeliers on the ceiling cast a soft glow, and the air was filled with the scent of old books and magic.

Moon silently activated his system scan, wanting to understand this mysterious magic world more deeply.

At the end of the corridor, Professor McGonagall stood before the entrance to the Great Hall, turning to the new students and saying, "Everyone, please wait here for a moment while I arrange your seating."

She turned and entered the hall, the door softly closing, warm light seeping through the crack.

Moon, Harry, and Ron stood quietly, the air thick with anticipation and nervousness.

Suddenly, a blond boy walked over, a hint of disdain and superiority in his eyes.

He looked at Harry, slightly raising his chin, and said, "It seems what they say is true, Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts."

Harry frowned slightly, but before he could respond, the boy had already begun to introduce himself: "My name is Draco Malfoy." He extended his hand, his tone arrogant, "We should be friends, because you'll find that some wizarding families are noble, unlike some people."

He finished, his gaze sweeping over Ron and Moon, a flicker of disdain in his eyes.

Hearing this, Moon couldn't help but laugh.

Malfoy's chuunibyou-like tone was truly amusing.

Malfoy spun around, glaring furiously at Moon: "What are you laughing at, Mudblood!" he said, his eyes filled with provocation and contempt.

Moon's smile vanished instantly. He unhesitatingly flicked his wand, muttering, "Accio!"

The next moment, Malfoy's entire body was pulled by a powerful magical force, flying rapidly towards Moon.

Before he could react, he was slapped hard across the face by Moon's backhand.

Malfoy's body was sent flying, crashing heavily to the ground, his eyes filled with shock and rage.

The surrounding new students were stunned, completely unprepared for Moon's swift and decisive counterattack.

Crabbe and Goyle hadn't reacted yet, preparing to step forward to help, but were stopped by Professor McGonagall's sudden appearance.

"Enough!" Professor McGonagall's voice was cold and authoritative as she walked in front of them. "Hogwarts is not a place for you to fight."

Her sharp gaze swept over Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle: "You'd best remember, Hogwarts welcomes every student, but any disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated."

Malfoy gritted his teeth, his eyes blazing with fury, glaring viciously at Moon, and whispered, "You just wait."

Harry, after Ron's explanation, understood the meaning of the word "Mudblood" and was filled with anger, unable to help but step forward: "How could he say that to you, Moon?"

Harry's anger warmed Moon's heart. He patted Harry's shoulder, reassuring him in a low voice: "It's alright, ignore him. He'll get what's coming to him later."

Just then, Professor McGonagall gestured for everyone to continue forward, pushing open the doors to the Great Hall.

Warm light spilled out, the air filled with delicious aromas, and several long dining tables were already laden with all sorts of food.

All the new students' eyes sparkled with anticipation and excitement.

"Tonight, we will have the Sorting Ceremony," Professor McGonagall said, turning back to everyone.

Chapter 10 Sorting Ceremony

The atmosphere in the Great Hall was solemn yet excited, with all the first-year students sitting up straight, their eyes fixed on Professor Dumbledore.

Before the Sorting Ceremony began, Dumbledore stood up, adjusted his glasses, and scanned each new student with a gentle yet unignorable gaze, saying:

"Welcome to Hogwarts."

His voice was deep and powerful, echoing through the quiet hall. "Before we proceed, I need to remind you of a few things. First, the dark forest surrounding Hogwarts—do not even think of approaching it. That is the Forbidden Forest. It is dangerous for anyone who enters without permission."

"Second, the corridor on the right side of the third-floor hallway is also forbidden. Never go there. If you don't want to meet a terrible end, then please remember—never go there."

He paused, looking into the eyes of each new student, as if checking if they understood the gravity of his words.

"Thank you for your cooperation." Dumbledore's tone softened, but the warning in his voice remained impossible to ignore.

After saying these words, he smiled slightly and nodded, signaling Professor McGonagall to begin the Sorting Ceremony.

Professor McGonagall walked to the front, picked up a long roll of parchment, and cleared her throat: "Now, we will begin the Sorting Ceremony. Students whose names are called, please come forward in order and put on the Sorting Hat."

She began calling out names, and the first name rang out: "Hermione Granger."

Hermione stood up, slightly nervous, and walked towards the Sorting Hat. She put on the Hat, closed her eyes, seemingly waiting for something. A moment later, the Sorting Hat loudly declared: "Gryffindor!"

Hermione breathed a sigh of relief, turned, and walked towards the Gryffindor table, receiving a round of enthusiastic applause.

Next, Harry and Ron were also called in turn, and both were sorted into Gryffindor.

Upon hearing the shout of "Gryffindor," Ron excitedly jumped up.

And when Harry was sorted into Gryffindor, the entire Gryffindor table erupted, cheering loudly and appearing incredibly excited.

Finally, Professor McGonagall turned the list and called Moon's name: "Moon White."

Moon smiled slightly, walked forward, and put on the Sorting Hat.

The Sorting Hat gently touched his head, and after a moment, began to emit a low voice, seemingly exploring Moon's mind. "Hmm... you are a special child, I can't feel anything at all..."

Moon felt a slight tremor; the Sorting Hat seemed to have encountered some difficulty.

It paused for a few seconds, still yielding no results.

"Where do you want to go?" the Hat asked softly, only able to inquire about Moon's choice.

Moon thought to himself that the system was indeed powerful and quietly replied: "I want to go to Gryffindor."

The Sorting Hat chuckled slightly: "Good." It then shouted loudly without hesitation: "Gryffindor!"

Moon secretly breathed a sigh of relief. He smiled slightly and walked towards the Gryffindor table.

Harry and Ron waved excitedly as he approached, their faces beaming with smiles.

As soon as Moon sat down, they immediately patted him on the back with excitement.

"That's great, Moon! You're in the same House as us too!" Ron laughed, and Harry nodded in agreement.

As the last first-year student was sorted, Professor Dumbledore stood up again, smiling as he looked at all the students: "Now, the Sorting Ceremony is over. Next, please enjoy the feast." He waved his hand, announcing the start of the banquet.

A wonderful aroma wafted over, and the tables were already laden with abundant food: roasted meats, soups, various fresh vegetables, and colorful desserts.

Moon's eyes lit up, but he soon noticed that there was no rice on the table, which made him a little disappointed.

He quietly picked up some dishes, and although they tasted delicious, they still left him feeling somewhat unsatisfied.

Ever since he acquired Alchemy, he had eaten rice with every meal, but tonight, he could only reluctantly fill his stomach with some meat.

"What's wrong, Moon?" Harry asked, seeing Moon's frown.

"No rice, I'm a bit unaccustomed to it," Moon chuckled softly, raising his cup to clink with Harry's.

"Rice?" Ron smiled, patting Moon's shoulder, "I remember there is some; you can report it to Professor tomorrow."

Moon smiled slightly, a hint of warmth flashing in his eyes; he could feel the enthusiasm of his friends.

Just as everyone was enjoying their meal, Moon activated the system's scanning function again, carefully observing every detail in the Great Hall.

The feast quickly ended, and everyone had eaten their fill.

Percy Weasley, as the Gryffindor Prefect, led the new Gryffindor students out of the Great Hall and towards the Gryffindor Common Room.

Along the way, Percy led everyone into the south wing of Hogwarts, through a dimly lit corridor, and finally stopped in front of a large portrait.

The portrait depicted a Fat Lady, dressed in a magnificent gown, with a smiling face and her head slightly tilted.

"Password!" the Fat Lady asked with a smile.

"Dragon Slag," Professor McGonagall replied.

The Fat Lady waved her hand, and the portrait opened like a door, revealing a passage.

Everyone followed Percy inside.

It was warm and spacious, with several magical paintings hanging on the walls, and the sofas by the fireplace emitted a warm glow.

Percy smiled and said: "Welcome to the GryffindorCommon Room. The boys' dormitories are upstairs to the left, and the girls' dormitories are upstairs to the right. Your luggage has already been sent up."

Everyone began to split up to find their dormitories. Fortunately, Moon, Harry, and Ron were assigned to the same dormitory.

Lying on his bed, Moon couldn't fall asleep for a long time, his mind replaying everything from the day.

He thought of the many wonders and mysteries of Hogwarts, his heart filled with excitement and anticipation.

He gently turned over and found that Harry was also awake, sitting by the window, gazing deeply out at the night.

"Harry, not asleep yet?" Moon asked softly.

Harry turned his head and smiled slightly: "No, I can't sleep. Just thinking about some things." He then lowered his head again, looking out at the night sky.

Moon walked to the window and stood beside Harry. The two silently gazed at the starry sky, their hearts full of anticipation and excitement for the future.

Finally, Moon couldn't help but yawn, walked back to his bed, closed his eyes, and gradually drifted off to sleep.
