Hogwarts: I Became Nidhogg
Chapter 50: Transformation — Nidhogg
"I haven't lost yet, I can't die! As long as... as long as I get to that place..."
Tom, having lost his limbs, wriggled like a bug and crawled towards the Basilisk.
The blood flowing from his wounds left a large trail of blood on the ground.
Harry and the others had never seen such a bloody scene, and they all felt a bit sick; Neville even started vomiting.
"Hode, we need to stop him."
Watching Tom getting closer and closer to the Basilisk, Hermione asked Hode.
"No, I'm actually curious about what 'it' wants to do."
"It?" Hermione didn't understand why Hode used "it", but she didn't say much more.
"Screech!"
At that moment, Fawkes brought Dumbledore to the scene.
"It seems you're alright, children."
"Professor Dumbledore!" Harry and the others quickly came to Dumbledore's side.
Hearing Dumbledore's voice, Tom crawled towards the Basilisk even harder.
The last thing he wanted was for Dumbledore to see his pathetic state.
"What is Tom..." Dumbledore was somewhat puzzled. With all his limbs gone, he was still crawling towards the Basilisk—was Tom's Soul really this stupid?
"Hey, Old Dumbledore, if things go wrong later, you take Harry and the others and leave."
As Hode spoke, he also called Jinx out, having her ready to take Hermione away at any moment.
The others weren't clear why Hode said that, and just as they were about to ask, Tom finally made contact with the Basilisk.
The man and the snake were kneaded together like rubber by someone, mashed into a single ball.
"This... What is going on?" McGonagall, Snape, and other Professors also rushed over.
After all, the commotion caused by their battle was not small.
Then they saw a huge meatball made of goodness knows what.
"Everyone back!" Hode called out to remind them.
From his perspective, Tom fused with that mysterious Soul, and then absorbed the Basilisk's Soul completely.
At that moment, the meatball began to transform...
A hundreds-of-meters-tall monster with a snake's body and a human head was born from this.
"Hahahaha! Hode! Dumbledore! The reason for your defeat is that you didn't stop our fusion! Hahahaha!"
Tom laughed wildly. Feeling the immense Magic and power inside his body, he now looked at everyone as mere weaklings.
"Pfft, just you?" Hode covered his mouth and laughed.
Tom's originally young face was now covered in scales, and his nose had been sliced off.
Laughing out loud like that cracked Hode up.
Hearing Hode's taunt, Tom didn't get angry.
"Hehe, then let's try it, Hode! Avada Kedavra!"
Tom opened his bloody mouth wide, and a two-meter-diameter Killing Curse spewed out from his mouth.
Jinx immediately took Hermione and Hode, using Apparition to dodge the attack.
Soon, the place Tom attacked was pierced straight through the dirt, forming a two-meter tunnel.
"Hehe, Tom, you'd definitely be an expert at digging tunnels now."
Facing Hode's taunt, Tom only considered it impotent trash talk.
"Hmph, so what if you and Dumbledore have a Phoenix? With so many people here now, can you dodge while carrying them all?"
With that, the green light in his mouth appeared once again.
"Jinx, Fawkes, send it to the Forbidden Forest!"
Hode actually had a way to directly deal with Tom, but that wouldn't be satisfying!
After all, he had never fought such a massive creature before, so he definitely had to have some fun!
"Release"
Hode's slash went straight into Tom's mouth, interrupting the Killing Curse.
Meanwhile, Jinx and Fawkes seized the opportunity to send Tom to the Forbidden Forest.
"Hode, you want to..."
Dumbledore looked at Hode, not knowing what Hode was going to do.
"You'll find out in a bit, let's go."
Hode took Hermione by the hand and turned directly into black mist, flying towards the Forbidden Forest.
"Let's go up too."
Dumbledore spoke, then led the others via Apparition to the outside of the castle.
"Professor, didn't they say Hogwarts has an Anti-Apparition Jinx? Why are you able to use it?"
Harry asked with some confusion and incomprehension.
Dumbledore squinted and smiled, "I suppose the Headmaster still has some authority. Alright, Minerva, organize the students well and don't let them leave the castle."
After Dumbledore finished speaking, Hode also came over with Hermione.
"I forgot you could Apparate too." Hode complained.
Then a green wave of light attacked towards them.
"Finite Incantatem!" × 4
Hode, Dumbledore, Snape, and Flitwick used magictogether to stop Tom's Killing Curse.
"Hahaha, did you send me up here intending to let those students see the miserable state of your Deaths?"
Even though Tom was still crawling this way from the Forbidden Forest and was still far from them,
but with Tom's current size, his voice was loud enough for everyone in the castle to hear.
Thus, many students looked out from the windows and discovered that a hundreds-of-meters-tall monster with a human head and a snake's body was crawling towards this side from the Forbidden Forest.
Meanwhile, Dumbledore, the various Professors, as well as Hode, Harry and the others were outside the castle.
"Merlin's fishnet stockings, what kind of monster is this?"
"I think it's the culprit who petrified Justin."
"How is that possible? It's so huge, the castle couldn't possibly fit this thing."
"Be careful everyone, go tell the prefects of each house that no students are allowed to leave the castle!"
McGonagall rushed over quickly, but she didn't forbid the students from watching.
Because Dumbledore said so, even though she didn't understand.
"So Hode, how do you plan to deal with Tom?"
At that moment, Tom arrived in front of them.
"Hehe, are you ready for Death? Hode, Dumbledore!"
"What should we do, Hode?" Hermione hugged Hode's arm tightly, her palms full of sweat.
Harry and the others were also trembling all over, extremely regretting not landing a finishing blow.
Hode gently patted Hermione, signaling her to let go.
"Rest assured, I am the strongest!"
After saying that, he kissed Hermione on the cheek.
Then he protected everyone behind him and came before Tom.
"What, want to play the hero?" Tom bared his sharp teeth, looking at Hode with disdain.
Hode extended his right hand, pointing his thumb back at Hermione, and said to Tom: "My girlfriend is still watching, let me show off a bit!"
Hearing these words, Hermione's face instantly turned red.
The others also looked at Hermione, making her even more shy.
After speaking, Hode leaped hard, jumping into the air and starting to transform.
"Roar!"
Hode in the air let out a dragon roar, then his body rapidly grew larger, his clothes merging into his skin to form black scales.
"Hey, look! Is that Hode?"
Colin held up his camera, taking frantic pictures at the castle window.
"What is happening to him?"
"I think he might be transforming, just like in the animations."
Wizards crowded against the windows one after another, watching Hode.
Soon, Hode's body completely turned into a dragon form, then rapidly grew larger.
"This, how is this possible?"
Tom looked at this scene in disbelief. How could a human turn into a dragon?
Hode flew above the clouds, and immediately after, a huge shadow appeared in the sky.
"Roar!"
Hode finally completed his transformation, his ten-thousand-meter-tall physique descending from the clouds.
His massive body made people not even have the thought of resisting.
You must know that Godzilla was only a hundred meters tall, and Mount Everest is only 8,848 meters tall.
Even Hode's eyes were the size of a Quidditch pitch.
And his body completely covered the entire Hogwarts.
Hode looked down, opened his giant mouth big enough to swallow Tom, and said,
"Amuse me to your heart's content! Tom!"
Chapter 51: That's right, Hode won!
"Is... Is that Hode?"
A Wizard tremblingly extended a finger, pointing at the sky-blocking black dragon outside the window.
"To think we've always been... going to school with an entity like this!"
Good thing he never provoked Hode.
This was the inner thought of most students.
"Hermione, is it really Hode?" Harry swallowed hard.
He couldn't for the life of him connect this breath-taking, gigantic black dragon with Hode, who had lived with them for two years.
Hermione nods, Hode had shown it to her long ago, but it had never transformed to be this gigantic.
Tom's eyes held disbelief and anger, and even a fear he was unwilling to admit.
"Why? How could anyone turn into a creature like a dragon! What right do you have!"
"I am Nidhogg! You are merely a mortal born in an era without me!"
Hode mocked Tom with a look of disdain; in his eyes, Tomnow was no different from an ant.
"You only know how to engage in empty talk, go to hell!"
Tom roared hoarsely, green light beginning to condense in his mouth.
"Oh? Then come and try."
Facing Tom's super Killing Curse, Hode had no intention of dodging at all.
The charging ended quickly, and this time Tom opened his mouth as wide as possible.
A lightning beam with a diameter of ten meters struck Hode's body directly.
Everyone broke out in a cold sweat for Hode. Would he really be fine taking such an attack head-on?
However, Hode only felt like he was bitten by a mosquito, with not much of a sensation.
"How... How could this be!"
Tom couldn't believe it, and a sense of powerlessness welled up in his heart.
Can I really defeat a monster like this?
"Is that all? Then—farewell, Tom."
Hode's gigantic body began to lean forward, opening his huge mouth.
He directly picked up Tom in his mouth, then threw him into the air.
"No, no, I can't die, Hode, I surrender, spare me! I am willing to submit to you!"
Tom seemed to sense Death, frantically begging Hode for mercy.
Hearing Tom's words, everyone was startled, yet understood.
In the face of Death, everything could be abandoned.
But Hode did not respond to Tom; instead, purple lightning began to condense in his mouth.
"Roar—Thunder!"
The moment Hode shouted out the move, Tom knew he no longer had any chance to stop his attack.
A purple lightning bolt that seemed capable of splitting the world shot out from Hode's mouth, directly dyeing the sky purple.
Everyone looked at the sky, their breathing even stopping.
Harry stared blankly at this scene. "In other words..."
Dumbledore nods, revealing a confident smile.
"That's right, Hode won!"
Like the sanction of a deity, Tom didn't even last a second.
Before being scorched into charcoal by the powerful current.
"Bang"
Tom's body heavily smashed into the edge of the Forbidden Forest.
"Woohoo, we won!"
"Colin, did you capture it? Let me see."
"Merlin's purple stockings, Hode is so handsome! If he suddenly confesses to me, should I agree, or should I agree?"
"Man, you're both guys!"
Wizards cheered in the castle, though they didn't know what that guy named Tom had done.
But undoubtedly he was definitely the villain.
And Harry and the others also looked at Hode in the sky with looks of adoration.
"So handsome, it would be great if I could turn into a giant dragon too."
Ron drooled, starting to fantasize about turning into a giant dragon, acting cool in front of girls, and then becoming a heartthrob.
Meanwhile, Hode transformed back into human form, narrowing his eyes in the sky as he looked at Tom's corpse.
Tom's Soul gradually faded, but—that mysterious Souldetached from Tom and then assaulted towards Hode.
"Soul detachment!"
Hode hit it with a Spell, but it had no effect.
That mass of Soul stopped in front of Hode, and then Hodesaw a person!
No, it shouldn't be said to be a person, but a skeleton wearing a black cloak and holding a scythe!
"Death?"
Hode asked a sentence. You must know that there really is Death in the Harry Potter world, and with this appearance, it's hard not to make people suspicious.
"You shouldn't exist in this world! Nidhogg!"
Death's voice was hoarse and hollow; clearly lacking eyes, yet one could feel its gaze.
"Next time, you won't be this lucky, Nidhogg!"
Having said that, Death's Soul dissipated, as if it had never appeared.
Oh ho, threatening me?
I'm heading into seclusion right now, and next time we meet, I'll definitely beat the crap out of you.
Having grown up so much, this was the first time Hode had seen someone dare to threaten him like this.
Mere god in a novel, worthy of being an enemy to a noble Transmigrator?
Hode arrived on the ground, and Hermione immediately hugged Hode.
"Are you hurt?"
Hermione's hands felt around on Hode's body, and after confirming there were no wounds, she breathed a sigh of relief.
"This time, you're famous, Hode." Dumbledore walked over with a smiling expression.
"Isn't that just as you wished? Such a great opportunity to show off, can't help it."
Hode shrugged, looking like he was forced to act cool.
"Hahaha. Then, Severus, I'll leave Tom's corpse to you; I need to go soothe the students. Also, Hode, remember to come to my office."
Having said that, Fawkes Apparition-ed away with Dumbledore.
"Heh, he really knows how to order people around!"
Snape sneered, then walked towards the Forbidden Forest, starting to sort out that charred corpse.
"Since everyone is fine, let's head back too." Professor Flitwick finished speaking, then led Harry and the others away.
As expected of Professor Flitwick, I will always respect you!
Hode inwardly thanked Flitwick's emotional intelligence, then looked at Hermione.
"Ouch, it seems I've been hit by Tom's curse!" Hodesuddenly clutched his heart, looking pained.
"What's wrong with you, Hode! Don't scare me, what should I do." Hermione anxiously supported Hode, somewhat at a loss.
"I've been hit by a curse, and it requires a beauty to kiss my face to lift it. So Hermione..." (^ v ^)
Seeing Hode's look of "if you don't kiss me I'll keep pretending", Hermione smiled dotingly.
"Just this once!"
Afterwards, Hermione stood on tiptoes, gently kissing Hode on the face.
"Oh! The power is back!" Hode raised his hands high.
Then looking at Hermione, "This beautiful young lady, thank you for your help, I will take responsibility for you."
Looking at the pretentious Hode, Hermione also put on a princess posture.
"You said this yourself, then this princess commands you to be my personal bodyguard!"
"As you command, my dear wife." Hode grabbed Hermionein a hug, lifting her high up.
"Not... not to that extent yet! Just say it in private, don't go telling everyone."
Hermione said softly, her whole person blushing as red as an apple.
"So that's to say, you admit it?"
Hode wore a wicked smile, speaking by Hermione's ear, the breath he exhaled making Hermione feel ticklish.
"Mmm~, stop, stop messing around, let's head back quickly."
Hermione said shyly, then got down from Hode's embrace, hugged one of his arms and walked towards the castle.
Chapter 52: Who Dares Call Us Gryffin-few-points?
"Welcome! Ruler of the world! The great Black Dragon King! The new Legend of the wizarding world—Hode Dumbledore Grindelwald!"
The Weasley Twins were waiting early at the castle gates.
As soon as they saw the two walk in, they began reciting their prepared draft.
"Make way, make way! The great Hode is visiting Hogwarts with his wife! You guys better clear the path!"
George and Fred walked in front, one on the left and one on the right, clearing the way for them.
"Stop messing around, George, Fred."
Hode covered his face. What the Weasley Twins said was so cringey that even someone as thick-skinned as Hode felt embarrassed.
"Understood! For the great Black Dragon King, loyalty!"
Sigh, these two guys...
"Hode, there you are! Did you get hurt just now?"
Professor McGonagall walked over quickly. Seeing her, the Weasley Twins immediately bolted.
"I'm not hurt, Professor."
Hearing Hode's words, McGonagall finally felt relieved.
"It's good that you're fine. By the way, Dumbledore is gathering all the students in the Great Hall right now, probably to praise you guys. Hurry along."
"Okay, Professor."
Arriving at the Great Hall, most of the students had already gathered.
When Hode walked in, everyone looked at him.
The battle just now was already known to all the students. Especially the scene where Hode transformed into a giant dragon; many had witnessed it.
Holding Hermione's hand, Hode sat down next to Harryand the others under the envious, jealous, fearful, and admiring gazes of everyone.
"Hode, how did you turn into a dragon? Teach me!"(♡><)/♦
As soon as Hode sat down, Ron started acting cute and whining.
"Cut it out, I'm not gay!"
Hode almost got goosebumps and said crossly.
"This trick is Animagus, which lets you turn into an animal. But don't even think about Magical Creatures; currently, I'm the only exception."
"Fine."꒦ິ^꒦ິ
Ron had been thinking about showing off everywhere after learning this trick.
Ideally, just like Hode, turning into a giant dragon to fend off Dark Wizards in front of the entire school's teachers and students.
And then saying a few flashy lines, like: 'You are the challenger, how utterly boring...' and so on. How cool would that be!
Thinking of this, Ron asked Hode again.
"Hode, can you teach me a few cool lines then? I really want to learn!"
"Oh, you've asked the right person. Let me give you a few quick ones."
Hearing Ron's request, Hode took a sip of water and cleared his throat.
"Listen up! 'Do you want to dance too?', 'I shall stand in the heavens!', 'The current me is the strongest in the world!','Scum with a combat power of only five'..."
Hode casually spouted a few pretentious lines, leaving the others completely dumbfounded.
"How on earth is your brain wired? Where do you get all these... flashy lines?"
Hermione tapped Hode's head, extremely curious if Hode's brain was wired differently from everyone else's.
"There is a difference between immortals and mortals. It's normal for us to be different; there's no need to feel inferior."
Hode tilted his head back, putting on the air of a grand master.
Just then, the last student arrived at the Great Hall.
Dumbledore then tapped his glass with a spoon to draw everyone's attention.
"Students, I believe you all already know what happened today, but please allow me to recount the general course of events once more."
"Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Neville Longbottom, Draco Malfoy, Hermione Granger, and Hode Grindelwald."
Dumbledore looked at them, paused for a moment, and continued.
"Through a series of investigations, they have finally discovered the culprit behind the recent petrifications of classmate Justin and others—Theodore Nott! His mind was controlled by a dark item, leading him to open Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets and release the Basilisk."
Everyone began whispering and discussing, especially the Slytherin students.
"Theodore? How could it be him?"
"Aren't you in the same dorm as him? Didn't you notice anything unusual?"
"He always looks gloomy all day long. How could anyone tell if there was a change?"
Dumbledore spoke again.
"Furthermore, Professor Lockhart was also harmed because of this incident and has been sent to the hospital wing. I believe he will no longer be able to teach the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, and I will find a new Professor to replace him."
The students below were ecstatic. Great! They finally didn't have to see that useless fraud anymore.
"Now! I shall award some House points for their actions."
Dumbledore raised his voice and looked at Hode and the others.
"Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Neville Longbottom, Draco Malfoy, and Hermione Granger discovered the culprit and successfully defeated the Basilisk. I shall award fifty points to each of them."
"Oh! Fifty points each! Our Gryffindor just got two hundred points! We've got this, everything is secured!"
The Gryffindor students immediately began to celebrate. They had never been so far ahead when the term was only halfway through.
Last year, Dumbledore only added the points at the end of the term. This year, they could thoroughly enjoy the thrill of being in the lead.
"Hahaha, let's see who dares call us Gryffin-few-points now!" Ron said with a loud laugh.
"And next, I shall award one hundred points to Mr. Hode Dumbledore Grindelwald for protecting his companions and defeating a powerful enemy for Hogwarts!"
As soon as Dumbledore finished speaking, the students below clapped enthusiastically.
"Hahaha, three hundred points! Let's see how Slytherincatches up now."
"You're absolutely right, Fred. In my eyes, those Slytherins are like wild dogs, Ravenclaws are fools, and Hufflepuffs are just punching bags. None of them can compare to our great Gryffindor!"
The Weasley Twins directly mocked the other three Houses, looking completely confident of victory.
"Don't get cocky, Gryffindors! You just got lucky this once. We'll overtake you soon!"
The Slytherin students immediately retorted. Although the chances were slim, they couldn't just let themselves be mocked like this.
Snape watched the whole thing with a dark face.
Damn Old Bee, giving so many points! You like showing favoritism, don't you? Then don't blame me for being ruthless!
Snape had already figured out how to deduct points from Harry and the others. For the rest of the term, he would make Harry's life miserable.
Dumbledore ignored Snape's dark face beside him and said to the students with a smile.
"Alright, nothing like this will happen again! Everyone can study in peace. Now, go back and get some good rest."
Hearing Dumbledore's words, everyone left the Great Hallone after another, then crowded around Harry, Ron, and the others, asking all sorts of questions to find out the whole story.
Meanwhile, Hode let Hermione leave first, and then made his way to the entrance of the Headmaster's Office.
Seeing that it was Hode, the stone gargoyle opened the entrance without a single word.
It couldn't stop him anyway, so it might as well just open up and let him in!
Besides, it had heard from the portraits that Dumbledoreintended to groom him to be the next Headmaster.
It definitely had to build a good relationship. If it offended Hode...
And then got torn apart just because it was a second too slow in opening the door, who could it complain to?
(Author's note: As of Chapter 50, there are actually over seven hundred people who clicked for updates, and 28,000 people have read it. Thank you so much for your support!

Chapter 53: I Have Already Mastered the magic Core!
Not long after arriving at the Headmaster's Office, Dumbledore returned.
"Is there something the matter, Hode?"
"Did you destroy the notebook?"
Facing Hode's inquiry, Dumbledore nodded.
"I burned it away with Fiendfyre, what's wrong?"
Hode waved his hand, "It's fine, as long as it's destroyed. Do you know why Voldemort merged with the Basilisk?"
Dumbledore shook his head; he also didn't understand why Tom could fuse with the Basilisk, it was truly inconceivable.
Seeing Dumbledore's puzzlement, Hode replied, "I saw Death."
"What?"
Dumbledore widened his eyes. What did he mean by saying he saw Death?
"When I defeated Tom, a Soul filled with an aura of Deathappeared inside his body. Then Tom crawled towards the Basilisk like he went crazy, and then they fused."
"After killing Tom later, that Soul drilled out, and then I saw Death from within the Soul. He said that next time I won't be this lucky."
Hearing Hode's words, Dumbledore furrowed his brow tightly, his expression turning serious, lacking the relaxed feel he had before.
"Why would it do that? Does it want to kill you?"
Hode nodded, "It should be, it still said that I, a Nidhogg, shouldn't exist in this world. So do you have any intelligence regarding Death?"
Although Hode wasn't afraid, he still wanted to be prepared just in case; intelligence was very important after all.
Tier 0 Patch: Information Hode!
"Death? I don't know all that much either, only knowing about the Deathly Hallows. Legend says that gathering all three Deathly Hallows can make one the master of Death..."
"You actually believe words like that? Use things created by Death to become the master of Death? How is that possible."
Hode interrupted Dumbledore's words. He certainly didn't believe that it was that simple to defeat Death.
"Sigh, I don't believe it either, but I really don't know much."
Dumbledore felt helpless. He had thought he would only get to see Death after he died.
As a result, Hode got to see him just like this, and Deatheven wanted to kill him! Who the heck would want to provoke this.
"Fine then, I have nothing else going on."
Hode stood up, preparing to leave, when he suddenly thought of something and looked back at Dumbledore.
"Help me ask for leave for the upcoming classes, I need to think carefully about how to deal with Death."
"Alright, let me know if you need anything."
Dumbledore nodded. After all, it concerned Hode's life, so he had to take it seriously.
Returning to the Gryffindor Common Room.
Surrounded by a crowd, Ron recounted his own heroic deeds.
"I saw that Basilisk knock Harry and Neville down, so I took a step forward in one bound, hitting the Basilisk so hard with a Blasting Curse that it cried tears of grief."
"Look! Hode is back!"
A Wizard saw Hode come in and immediately shouted, "Hode, tell us why you can turn into a dragon, and also how you defeated that Tom."
Watching the crowd chime in with questions from all directions, Hode's eyes turned back to normal, directly giving them a fright.
"Ho... Hode, your eyes..."
"This is a talent, you guys can't change into it."
After speaking, he turned his eyes back into a normal person's appearance, then used Magic to separate the crowd and returned to his dormitory.
As soon as he entered the dormitory, he saw Harry and Neville playing cards.
"Yo, Harry, Neville. Why aren't you guys going over to brag with Ron? He's practically turning it into his own personal show."
Harry shook his head, "I have no interest; the title of The Savior is troublesome enough."
Hode nodded inwardly; Harry truly didn't value fame anymore, and as for Neville... he was simply a bit timid.
At this moment, Hode sensed that Hermione had entered the suitcase, presumably waiting for him.
Hode didn't chat with the two of them any further and crawled straight into the box.
"The most benevolent, righteous, supreme, and powerful Lord Hode has descended. Did you miss me, Hermione?"
Hode directly used Apparition to appear beside Hermione, striking a JOJO pose.
"Stop messing around, we separated less than an hour ago."
Hermione said with exasperation, then asked what Hodewent off to do.
"Nothing much, just checking if the Horcrux was destroyed. Old Dumbledore has already taken care of it."
Hode didn't tell Hermione about Death; after all, this wasn't something Hermione could come into contact with right now.
"Right, after this I might not be going to classes with you anymore."
"Why?" Hermione asked, puzzled.
"I'm going to research some magic here, along with some other things. Anyway, I already know everything I'm supposed to, so there's no need to go listen."
Hermione nodded. After all, Hode's magic was obvious to all; she even felt that Professor Flitwick might not necessarily know more than Hode.
"Alright then, just be a bit careful when you research magic, I'll come see you every night."
"Alright."
————
After that, Hode completely moved into the suitcase.
As for the matter of skipping classes, the professors had no objections.
Even Snape only complained with a sentence: "It seems the great Mr. Grindelwald already looks down on our poor Potions Professor."
He didn't say anything else after that.
"Hahahahaha! I have already mastered the magic core!"
After several weeks of seclusion, Hode finally invented the magic he wanted most.
Hearing the voice coming from inside the house, Ron said in a low voice.
"Has Hode been staying in there too long, did something go wrong with his brain?"
Today happened to be the weekend, and a few of them were still practicing magic here at Hode's place.
"Heh, mere mortals, it's only understandable that you don't understand."
Hode suddenly appeared beside Ron, giving the few of them a start.
"Hode, you finally came out."
Hermione immediately grabbed Hode's arm, as if afraid he would disappear.
"Hode! What you suddenly said just now about mastering something or other, what does that mean?"
Harry scratched his head and asked, puzzled.
Hearing Harry's words, Hode showed a meaningful smile.
"You'll know once you see; feel free to attack me with any moves you like."
"Is it really alright?" Hermione looked at the confident Hode and let go of his hand.
"Rest assured and come at me, I am the strongest!"
Harry and the others exchanged glances, then pointed their Wands at Hode.
"Expelliarmus!" × 4
Except for Hermione, Harry and the others simultaneously used Expelliarmus to strike at Hode.
But at the very moment before it was about to hit, the magic suddenly stopped, and no matter how much the few of them increased their output, it couldn't advance even a fraction.
"Th-this, what is going on? Is it an invisible shield?"
Looking at Harry and the others' country bumpkin expressions, Hode smiled and explained.
"This move is called Infinity, and its principle is Achilles' paradox. When an object approaches, the distance is infinitely subdivided, the speed approaches zero, and it can never be touched."
Harry and the others looked at Hode with dumbfounded expressions, completely not understanding a word.
Meanwhile, Hermione spoke up: "That is to say, no matter what it is, as long as it approaches you, the distance between you two will be infinitely magnified until it stops completely."
Hode nodded with gratification. As expected of an honor student, she understood as soon as it was explained.
"That's right, simply put, your attacks cannot touch me. This is—Infinity!"
Chapter 54: Black Lake
"This is too cheap! Wouldn't that mean you're practically invincible right off the bat?"
Ron looked at Hode with an envious expression.
"Do you think Hode isn't cheap just because he doesn't use Infinity?"
Harry complained, recalling the heaven-covering black dragon from before; he could not think of any way to defeat Hode no matter what.
"By the way, how did you suddenly appear just now? It doesn't look like Apparition."
Harry recalled Hode's silent appearance earlier, which didn't have the space-distorting sound of Apparition.
"This move is called teleportation, it's more convenient than Apparition and won't be restricted by the Anti-Apparition Jinx. Plus, there's no pre-casting or post-casting delay."
"Not only can it carry people, but it can also teleport anything over long distances."
"So powerful! Can you teach us this move?" Ron asked excitedly.
"This move consumes a lot of Magic, and it also requires a certain understanding of space; you guys can't learn it yet."
Hearing Hode's words, Harry and the others all showed disappointed expressions.
Hode put his hand on Ron's shoulder, snapped his fingers, and a bottle of Butterbeer appeared in his hand.
Hode took a sip, then spoke: "You don't need to feel inferior, it's just your bad luck to be born in the same era as me."
Listening to Hode's bold words, the others were already used to it.
"Alright, Hode, let's go for a walk first, you haven't come out for a long time."
Hermione pulled Hode, intending to take him out for a stroll.
"Alright, then let's go. You guys keep practicing, no slacking off!"
Watching the two leave, Harry and the others looked at each other.
We're training bitterly here, while you go hang out with your girlfriend.
Pah, how can you be so selfish!

"I'm telling you, ever since Lockhart was sent to the Ministry of Magic by the Headmaster, it was discovered that he used a Memory Charm to steal other people's experiences and write them into books, and now he's locked up in Azkaban."
As Hode walked outside the castle with Hermione, he listened to her talk about recent events.
"And then Snape became the temporary Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor! You have no idea, Draco said Snape occasionally has a smile on his face now!"
Hode:... That must make him very happy.
"And Snape has been targeting Gryffindor even more lately, especially Harry! He docked him a dozen points in a single day, and we completely can't earn them back!"
Hermione frowned tightly, extremely angry at Snape's malicious point deduction.
Hode stroked Hermione's hair, smiling comfortingly: "It's fine, Old Dumbledore is here anyway, we'll still be the ones winning."
Walking along, the two came to the side of the Black Lake.
Hode stood on the shore of the Black Lake, thoughtful.
Seeing Hode's contemplative look, Hermione asked: "What's wrong?"
"Do you want to go diving?"
"Diving? Right now?" Faced with Hode's words, Hermionewas stunned for a moment.
"That's right, the Waterproof Charm, Bubble-Head Charm, Eye-Protection Charm, and Mermish Charm are enough. We've been at Hogwarts for so long, and we haven't even dived into the Black Lake to take a look yet!"
Hode was just that kind of person; whatever felt interesting, he would want to go do it.
"Then let's do it."
After finishing, Hermione began casting magic on herself; fortunately, Hode had taught her these Spells.
As soon as Hermione finished casting the Spell, she was grabbed by the hand by Hode.
"Woohoo! Let's go!"
With that, he pulled Hermione and jumped into the Black Lake.
The Black Lake wasn't as black as its name suggested; the surrounding environment could be seen clearly.
A few jellyfish swam past the two of them, and Hodegrabbed one and squeezed it.
"Feels pretty good!"
This was Hode's first time touching a jellyfish across both of his lives, and diving was also a first.
He had only ever watched those divers play in videos, so he was very curious about these things.
Watching Hode squeeze the jellyfish looked a bit like a pervert, so Hermione immediately knocked the jellyfish out of Hode's hand.
"Stop touching randomly!"
Hode:?
Hermione didn't explain, instead pulling Hode and swimming deeper.
As the two went deeper, they saw many types of fish.
"Look! Hermione, Merpeople!"
Hermione looked in the direction Hode was pointing, and three Merpeople were swimming over this way.
Their skin was iron-gray, their hair dark green, their eyes yellow, but their expressions were fierce, holding fish-bone spears, looking like they had bad tempers.
The Merpeople thought a young wizard had drowned and had rushed over hurriedly, only to see the two of them perfectly fine.
So they pointed their fish-bone spears at the two, seeming to drive them away.
Without saying a word, Hermione fired three silent Stupefy Spells over.
"Damn it, it's finally time to go diving with Hode, and you dare to come bother me—time for a beating!"
Looking at the unconscious Merpeople, Hode's hand, which was originally planning to cast a translation Spell, stopped mid-air.
What's going on? Why does Hermione like to solve problems directly with violence now?
"Let's continue." Hermione's originally serious expression immediately turned into a smile.
"Okay..." (◎_◎;)
Faced with Hermione's 180-degree face change, Hodedirectly chose to follow his heart.
The two quickly swam to the bottom of the lake.
There were many crabs, coral, and so on here.
"Hermione, how about we catch some crabs to take back and eat?"
As Hode spoke, he pulled out a large bag from somewhere.
Hermione nodded approvingly, and then the two used Accio to scoop them all into the bag.
Suddenly, the sky went dark.
The two looked up, and a Giant Squid happened to swim past right above their heads.
"Such a big squid, I wonder what it would taste like if made into takoyaki?"
Hode rubbed his chin and fell into thought.
"Don't let your mind wander, it has lived for hundreds of years! It can be considered Hogwarts' mascot."
Hearing Hode's words, Hermione immediately persuaded him, fearing that he would really kill the Giant Squid to make food.
"Rest assured, I'm not that kind of person."
In his previous life, some people said this Giant Squidmight have been transformed from Gryffindor, but Hodedidn't see anything abnormal; it was just a normal squid Soul.
You must know that if it were an Animagus or another Transformation Spell, its Soul would have a human shape, just like Peter Pettigrew.
But this Giant Squid didn't, so Hode was certain it wasn't transformed from Gryffindor or anything else.
Afterwards, the two caught some shells and the like, and then Hode directly flew back to the shore with Hermione.
"A bumper harvest, haha! Let's go, we'rather having hairy crabs tonight."
Holding Hode's hand, Hermione said: "It's still early, accompany me for a walk in the castle."
Hode nodded, then used teleportation to put the bag into his suitcase.
The two walked slowly like this, and before long, they encountered barefoot Luna in a corridor.
"Hode, look, I remember she's a first-year Ravenclawstudent. Those Ravenclaws all call her Loony, they're so uncultured!"
Hermione was very sympathetic to Luna's experience, seemingly remembering how she was treated like that by Lavender in her first year.
Seeing that Luna looked like she was looking for her shoes, Hode pulled Hermione and walked over.
"Hey, Luna. Are you looking for your shoes?"
Hearing Hode's voice, Luna noticed the two of them.
"Oh, I know you—Hode and Hermione."
Luna blinked, her dazed expression making it impossible to read her emotions.
Luna continued: "Yes, my shoes have been playing hide-and-seek with me lately."
Chapter 55: Ravenclaw
Hearing Luna's words, Hermione's sympathy grew even stronger.
Oh my goodness, how could someone be so innocent!
"Hode, we have to help Luna!"
"Of course."
Saying this, Hode stretched out a hand and incanted, "Accio Luna's shoes."
Soon, two shoes flew from afar into Hode's hand.
"Here," Hode said, handing the shoes to Luna.
After taking them, Luna's expressionless face finally gave way to a slight upturn of the corners of her mouth.
"Thank you, Hode. It seems I need to study this spell properly so I can find my shoes anytime."
"Luna, do you know who took your shoes?"
Facing Hermione's question, Luna tilted her head and replied as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
"Who would take my shoes? Aren't they just playing hide-and-seek with me?"
Hermione: Merlin's twin tails! Are you being bullied without even realizing it?
She doesn't even know she's being bullied. I'm suddenly starting to agree with the nickname 'Loony'.
"Hode, you talk to her!"
Hermione no longer knew what to say, so she could only let Hode, whose brain was wired just as strangely, do the talking.
"Alright, alright. Well, Luna, actually, your shoes can't move on their own. Someone hid them just so you couldn't find them."
"So someone wants to play a game of hide-and-seek with me?"
Hode: "...Let's just find the culprits first."
With that, Hode held Hermione's hand with one hand and Luna's with the other, walking toward the RavenclawCommon Room.
——
Arriving in front of the Ravenclaw Common Room.
The entrance to the Common Room was a door equipped with an eagle-shaped bronze knocker.
At the very top of Ravenclaw Tower, a piece of old, bare wood featured a bronze knocker that asked questions; one could only enter by answering them.
Hode and Hermione were also curious about what kind of question it would ask.
Just then, the knocker spoke.
"Excuse me—would you rather eat poop-flavored chocolate, or chocolate-flavored poop?"
Hode and Hermione:...
Hode immediately pulled out his Wand and pointed it at the knocker.
"Eat shit!"
A crimson light began to gather at the tip of his Wand, which was the color of the Blasting Curse.
"W-Wait! I'll open it, I'll open it!"
The knocker yielded decisively. Why were young wizards nowadays so violent, unable to take a joke at all?
The door slowly swung open, and what met their eyes was a starry-sky blue.
The curtains, carpets, sofas, table mats, and even the fire in the fireplace were all a beautiful blue.
Meanwhile, the walls, floor tiles, and so on were all white.
The two colors complemented each other, perfectly highlighting Ravenclaw's representative colors.
Looking up at the ceiling, it wasn't a normal stone ceiling, but a whole flowing, deep blue night sky.
"I feel like the Gryffindor Common Room is a bit shabby in comparison."
Hode quietly complained to Hermione.
Ravenclaw belonged to the art of elegant people, while Gryffindor was like the warmth of an ordinary home.
The two had different styles, but Ravenclaw's visual impact was undoubtedly more powerful.
"Alright, didn't you say we were going to help Luna find the culprits? What do you plan to do?" Hermione asked Hode.
"It's very simple."
Saying this, Hode walked into the Ravenclaw Common Room. Since it was the weekend, there were still many students hanging out there.
"Hode? Why did you come to our place?"
The speaker was Cho Chang. The two of them had chatted a few times, mainly because Hode wanted some Chinese recipes and spices.
So he had specifically asked Cho Chang for help; after all, Hode didn't know many dishes from his past life.
Facing a compatriot, Hode still felt quite a bit of goodwill.
"Hey, Cho Chang, I'm looking for Penelope Clearwater. Ask her to come out for a moment."
Penelope Clearwater, a Ravenclaw prefect, was also in a relationship with Percy.
The two of them were very similar, placing great importance on power, but also working hard because of it.
"Alright, I'll find her for you."
"Is this the method you came up with?" Hermione was a bit bewildered. Was finding a prefect really going to be useful?
Cho Chang left quickly and returned just as fast.
Penelope was brought to the Common Room by Cho Chang, looking completely bewildered, having been told that Hode wanted to see her.
Why did he want to see her? Could it be that he had noticed how outstanding she was and wanted to confess his feelings to her?!
Although she already had Percy, how could a mere Weasley compare to Hode?
Which Wizard didn't know the names Dumbledore and Grindelwald?
As long as she married Hode, wouldn't her career skyrocket!
When the time came, becoming a Deputy Minister for Magic, or even the Minister for Magic, wouldn't be out of the question. (,,>᎑<,,)
Just as Penelope arrived in the Common Room with a face full of anticipation, she discovered that Hermione was also there.
Why was this girl here too?
Although no one said anything on the surface, in private, Hermione had long since become public enemy number one among all the girls in the school.
But Penelope still held onto hope. What if he wanted to confess to her right in front of Hermione, telling Hermioneto stop pestering him?
"Penelope Clearwater, let me ask you, do you know about Luna being bullied?"
"What?" ( °◇゚)
"I'm fucking asking you, what the fuck is going on with Luna fucking getting bullied!"
Sensing that Hode's tone was growing angry, Penelopeimmediately tried to distance herself from it.
"No, I don't know, I really know nothing about this!"
In fact, Penelope did know. As a prefect, there were very few things in Ravenclaw she wasn't aware of.
But how could she have the time to care about this? Not only did she have to prepare for her N.E.W.T. exams, but she also had to spend time maintaining her relationship with Percy.
The Weasleys were a pure-blood family after all, which would be helpful for her future entry into the Ministry of Magic.
As for bullying, which house didn't have it? But she was too lazy to bother with such things.
She knew who had bullied Luna, but she couldn't be bothered to care about such trivial matters.
Moreover, some of those who bullied Luna were from Pure-blood families; why should she offend them for Luna's sake?
Of course, in front of Hode, Penelope definitely had to say she didn't know, so she could maintain her image in Hode's heart.
But what she didn't know was that Hode had been using Legilimency all along, and he already knew her inner thoughts.
"One last time, tell me who they are."
Hode said expressionlessly, while Hermione also looked at Penelope with a displeased face.
Hode's words clearly showed he didn't believe Penelope, and Hermione, trusting Hode unconditionally, also believed she was lying.
"I... I really don't know. Don't worry, I will definitely..."
"I gave you a chance."
Before Penelope could finish her sentence, a massive wave of Magic, like a giant boulder, pinned her directly to the ground.
"Everyone who has bullied Luna, get out here!"
Hode's words echoed through the entire RavenclawCommon Room, and his Magic instantly enveloped all of Hogwarts.
Even the creatures in the Forbidden Forest trembled in fear at this terrifying Magic.
Chapter 56: I Really Do Need to Shock You Guys
" This is... Hode's Magic! "
Harry and the others, who had just finished training and were getting ready to grab a bite to eat, suddenly felt a massive surge of Magic.
It was the enormous Magic that only Hode possessed.
Heavy, boundless, and resembling an endless abyss—that was Harry's first impression.
Harry had already felt His Magic the last time Hodetransformed.
" It's coming from the West Tower! Who on earth provoked Hode? "
Harry didn't believe that anyone in Hogwarts, apart from right now, had the ability to make Hode's Magic erupt.
Furthermore, Professor Dumbledore wouldn't go against Hode, so there was only one other possibility: someone had angered Hode.
" Heaven knows what talented fellow is so brave; let's go check it out! "
Draco couldn't help but admire That Person. To dare provoke Hode while knowing His strength and background—he was a real man.
the professors also felt Hode's Magic eruption.
Snape ignored it. Ever since he was taken out in a single move by Hode last time, he didn't want to see Hode at all.
As for the other the professors, they felt that Hode clearly possessed such formidable power, yet had never displayed it over the past year or more.
This showed that Hode wasn't someone who couldn't control himself; this time, someone must have provoked Hode.
Believing that Hode would only hand out a minor punishment, they didn't interfere.
Only Professor McGonagall, Flitwick, and Professor Sprout cared about Hode's situation and headed toward the West Tower.
Meanwhile, Dumbledore was in the Headmaster's Officeeating a Chocolate Frog, showing not the slightest intention of intervening.
Back in the Ravenclaw Common Room, Penelope had long since regretted what she had just said.
She didn't know how Hode was so certain she was lying, but now she didn't have time to think about that.
Hode's Magic was pressing down on her so hard she could barely breathe, and every single cell in her body trembled with fear.
She wanted to run away, but couldn't even stand up; she wanted to apologize, but couldn't even open her mouth.
Penelope couldn't figure out for the life of her why Hodewould stand up for Luna.
What she didn't know was that Luna was Hode's second favorite female character in the Harry Potter movies, second only to Hermione.
When He saw Luna looking for her shoes barefoot, Hodewas already extremely furious.
" To think you'd dare bully such a cute little loli—looks like I really do need to give you guys a proper electric shock! "
At this moment, all the Ravenclaw students inside their dormitories came out because of Hode's Magic.
" Wh-What is going on here? "
" Luna? He's standing up for Luna! Hey, whoever bullied Luna, hurry up and confess. "
The students chattered anxiously, but not a single person took the initiative to confess.
They all harbored wishful thinking: What if? What if Lunadidn't remember who bullied her? Then wouldn't they be safe!
Watching these indifferent Ravenclaw students, Hode's patience finally ran out.
A massive, large-scale, non-verbal, wandless Legilimencyswept through, scanning the memories of all the Ravenclaw students present.
Of course, Hode didn't look through all of their memories; He merely targeted the memories concerning Luna.
He cared nothing for these Wizard's little secrets, especially their filthy thoughts, which were simply unwatchable.
In just a split second, Hode knew everyone who had bullied Luna.
Then Hode extended a hand.
" Almighty Push! "
More than a dozen students flew out from the crowd toward Hode, as if hooked by invisible lines.
Then Hode pressed His hand down, and they were pinned to the ground as if crushed by a massive mountain, unable to move a muscle.
" Hode, are they the ones? "
Hermione watched everything Hode was doing from the side without stopping Him.
As for Luna, she tilted her head and looked at those people.
" Are they the ones who hid my shoes? "
" Yes, Luna. Now, it's our turn to play. "
As Hode spoke, blue lightning began to discharge from His hands.
" Palm Lightning! "
A powerful current instantly struck them, causing their hair to stand on end and their entire bodies to twitch violently.
The rest of the Ravenclaw students dared not move, their breathing weakening out of terror.
Only Cho Chang spoke up: " Hode, they deserve to be punished, but surely not to this extent... "
" Rest assured, they won't die. "
Hode said. He had already reduced the current's intensity; otherwise, the moment they made contact, they would have long since become a barbecue that even Hannibal would praise.
" Hey Hode, what's going on here... Oh holy crap. "
When Harry and the others arrived, they saw Hodereleasing lightning from His hands, striking over a dozen Ravenclaw students.
" Hode, Professor McGonagall and the others are about to arrive. Why don't you stop for now? "
Harry persuaded. After all, beating up classmates right in front of the professors would surely land Hode in detention no matter what.
Hode stopped His hand, not because the professors were coming, but because if He didn't stop now, these people might genuinely become a dish.
" Goodness me, what on earth happened here! "
Just as Harry had said, Professor McGonagall, Flitwick, and Professor Sprout quickly hurried over.
As soon as they entered, they saw Hode and the others near the Common Room door, with over a dozen Ravenclaw students lying on the ground.
Meanwhile, everyone else was hiding to the side, shivering in fear.
" Hode, tell me what on earth happened here? "
McGonagall questioned Hode directly. Given the Magic He had just unleashed, who would believe that Hode wasn't involved in this matter?
Then Hode recounted how Luna had been bullied, and how He and Hermione had brought Luna here to seek justice.
But He also modified it slightly, claiming that those who were electrocuted had made the first move.
He had originally intended to have a nice chat first, but driven by necessity, He had no choice but to act in self-defense.
Upon hearing this, Flitwick hurriedly apologized to Luna: " I'm sorry, Luna. It's my fault for failing to manage Ravenclaw properly and wronging you. "
Luna shook her head.
" I haven't been wronged at all, Professor. I thought they were just playing with me. After all, my mother died young and I didn't have friends when I was little, so when they hid my shoes, I thought we were playing hide-and-seek! "
The Ravenclaw students on the ground: " Do we really have to die? "
Hode: " Good grief, how did I not know Luna was such a smooth talker! So she was a dark-bellied girl all along? "
Hode hadn't expected Luna to be so black-bellied; He learned something new today. (◎-◎;)
Hearing Luna's words, Flitwick's eyes welled up with tears. How could there be such a kind child!
Those damned fellows actually bullied such a cute Luna.
Thinking of this, Flitwick looked at the people on the ground: " You bullied a classmate and even tried to attack Hode for helping a classmate! Come to my office later; I'm going to give you a proper detention. "
Upon hearing Hode and Luna's words, Professor McGonagall didn't scold them, but instead patted Luna's head.
" Since that's the case, Professor Flitwick will give you an explanation. It's time for dinner now anyway, off you go to eat. "
Afterwards, McGonagall and the others left.
The students on the ground: " No, you're just leaving like this? At least ask us for our side of the story! You're just buying this outright? "
The sky over Hogwarts darkened all the same.
McGonagall: " What a joke. Do your last names happen to be Dumbledore or Grindelwald? Or can you transform into a giant dragon and smash Hogwarts to pieces with a single slap? "
Chapter 57: Cell Phone
"Let's go, into the suitcase. Hermione and I caught some food in the Black Lake. We're having Chinese mitten crabs tonight."
Hode took Hermione and Luna by the hand and walked towards the Gryffindor Common Room, with Harry and the others following closely behind.
When the Ravenclaw students saw Hode leave, they finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"That was terrifying just now! The lightning Hode released made my hair stand on end even from standing nearby."
"Who are you telling? Stop talking, let's get them to the Hospital Wing first."
Then the Ravenclaw students used the Levitation Charmto transport those lying on the ground all the way to Madam Pomfrey.
————
"This big crab is so arrogant, little bro's pressure is like a big vat."
While washing the Chinese mitten crabs, Hode sang a song with an unclear meaning.
Harry, who was tending to the fire on the side, complained, "Speaking of which, why aren't we using magic? Why do we have to use our hands to do these things?"
Hode shook his finger, "Only food must never be let down; how can magic ever compare to the power of love."
Harry:... What does this have to do with cooking? And why on earth do Hermione and Luna not have to do any work?
Harry turned his head to look at the two people who were feeding Jinx, feeling so envious it hurt.
Meanwhile, Ron and Draco were told by Hode to wash the dishes, while Neville dug up some vegetables in the field.
After everyone's efforts, a seafood feast was finally ready.
"So fragrant! Dig in! Spit Bubbles after you're done eating!"
Ron held a crab pincer in one hand and a crab leg in the other, enjoying himself immensely as he ate.
"A poor ghost Weasley is always a poor ghost Weasley, eating a crab like this, truly bringing shame to the Pure-blood families."
Draco elegantly dug out the crab roe while routinely mocking Ron.
"Ha? I think you've forgotten the pain once your wound has healed. Do you dare to spar after we finish eating?"
"Bring it on, who's afraid of who! This time I'm going to beat you until you call me daddy."
The two of them looked completely unconvinced by each other, abandoned their food, and started fighting directly.
"Aren't you going to manage them?" Harry asked Hode.
"Manage what? Eating and watching a show at the same time, how wonderful!"
Harry nodded. Watching Ron and Draco fight tooth and nail actually seemed quite exciting.
After training for so long, Draco had caught up to Ron, especially excelling in offensive magic.
Facing Draco's offensive, Ron chose defense, as he was very skilled at defensive magic.
"Why are they fighting back and forth?" Luna asked, puzzled.
Hode showed a confident smile and said, "Because beating is affection and scolding is love, they are gay."
Luna wore an expression of sudden realization and nodded.
Soon everyone ate dinner completely clean, and Ron and Draco's battle was almost over.
The two ended in a tie due to exhausting their Magic.
"Not bad, Draco. You've made a lot of progress."
Hearing Hode's words, Draco burst into loud laughter.
"Hahaha, did you hear that, Weasley. Sooner or later I will trample you under my feet, hahahahaha."
"Damn it, my condition wasn't good this time, next time the only one who wins will be me."
Making Ron admit that Draco progressed quickly was harder than taking his life.
The two staggered over to the dining table, only to find not a single bit of food left.
"How come there's nothing left! Who ate it?"
Hode casually pulled a blade of grass, turned it into a toothpick, and picked his teeth as he said, "I ate it, who told you guys to fight for so long, deal with it yourselves."
Ron and Draco:...
There was no other way; they couldn't beat him in a fight either, so the two could only leave the suitcase and go to the school kitchen to find something to eat.
"Right, this is for you, Luna. As long as you infuse it with Magic, you can come here."
Hode handed Luna a necklace and continued.
"Although after this incident, they probably won't dare to bully you anymore, they might also isolate you. So in the future, you can come here to hang out with Hermione and the others, no need to pay attention to those losers."
Hode wasn't deliberately scolding Ravenclaw, but genuinely looked down on the current Ravenclawstudents.
They claimed to love knowledge, but didn't love it as much as Hermione did.
Hufflepuff had Cedric, Slytherin had numerous pure-bloods, and Gryffindor had Harry, Ron, and Hermione.
And what about Ravenclaw? Only Cho Chang and Lunawere acceptable.
Even though Hode chose Ravenclaw when he played Hogwarts Legacy in his past life.
That didn't stop Hode from belittling the current Ravenclaw.
"Thank you, Hode." Luna took the necklace.
Hode waved his hand, "It's already very late, you should head back quickly."
Luna nodded, then left.
"Ahem!"
Hermione deliberately coughed to catch Harry's attention, and then Harry noticed Hermione looking at him with unkind eyes.
Harry only then realized that now the only redundant ones left here were himself and Neville.
Harry hurriedly pulled Neville and said, "Uh... Hode, we'll be heading off first." Then he left without looking back.
As soon as Harry left, Hermione came over to Hode's side.
"Hode, will you still be attending classes later?"
Hearing Hermione's words, Hode shook his head and then nodded.
"I won't be attending classes anymore this school year. Barring any accidents in the third year, I'll accompany you to class."
"Then it's a deal! You're not allowed to lie to me."
"Of course, I'm going to the Alchemy room now, you should go back and rest first."
Hermione immediately hugged Hode's arm, "I'll accompany you."
Looking at Hermione, whose face was flushed with a blush, and feeling the two small mounds pressing against his arm.
Hode: Not bad, developing better and better!
As expected of my Hermione, simply adorable. ( ─ ‿ ─ )
"Alright, then how about we go camping outside later?"
Camping? Surely Hode doesn't want to sleep with me!
Hermione began to fantasize.
On a dark and windy night, two people staying in one tent, and then...
Thinking of this, Hermione's face blushed even more.
"O... Okay, it's a deal."
"Mhm."
Then Hode and Hermione came to the Alchemy room.
Hode took out a few thin iron plates, about the size of one hand, and then started working on them.
"What are you making, Hode?"
"I'm making something that can do remote video calls and live streaming anytime, anywhere. I call it—a cell phone."
At this time, what everyone used could only make phone calls.
As the saying goes, first come, first served. Once he made the magic cell phone first, he would invest in some future Fortune 500 companies.
Although he wasn't short on money right now, who would ever complain about having too much money?
"It's done!"
Not long after, Hode made two cell phones and handed one to Hermione.
Afterwards, Hode told Hermione all about how to use the cell phone, registered a Penguin account for Hermione, and then the two added each other as friends.
"Hode, what is this Doushou?"
Hermione asked, pointing to an app with a musical note icon.
"That's an app used to upload recorded videos to the internet for everyone to see, or for live streaming."
Upon hearing this, Hermione immediately logged in, took a group photo with Hode, and posted it up.
Unfortunately, no one else had a cell phone yet, so there wasn't a single like.
As for the network, Hode converted the network into a Magic connection. By then, as long as a Magic connector was placed in certain parts of the wizarding world, people would be able to access the internet.
Chapter 58: Camping
After an hour of hard work, Hode and the Alchemy puppet made nearly two hundred cell phones.
"Hmm~ I'm done, let it do the rest by itself."
Hode stretched and handed over the heavy responsibility of making cell phones to the Alchemy puppet.
Anyway, it could work 24 hours a day without stopping, so why should he work so hard himself?
Alchemy Puppet: "Bah! How can you be so selfish?"
"Then let's go camping!"
Seeing that Hode was done, Hermione immediately took his hand and led him to the junction of the plains and the lake outside the manor.
Thanks to Hode occasionally going to the Forbidden Forestto restock, this place was no longer desolate.
Fireflies danced in the air around them, and the calls of cicadas came from afar. The sky here was completely reflected from the outside.
Looking at such a midsummer night, the hearts of the two calmed down.
Then Hode took out two tents and a barbecue grill.
With a wave of his hand, everything was automatically set up, and he used Transfiguration to create a table and two stools.
"Two tents?"
"What's wrong, do you think it's too small? Or should I use the Undetectable Extension Charm to expand it?"
Hearing Hermione's voice, Hode thought Hermione felt the tent was too small.
Hermione: "Coward Hode! You made me happy for nothing!" (▼へ▼)
Seeing Hermione's unhappy expression, Hode was a bit dumbfounded. ⊙_⊙?
What was wrong with her, why did she suddenly get angry? Could it be that her aunt had arrived, making her temper erratic?
Hermione pulled out her Wand and said, "I'll use the Undetectable Extension Charm myself."
As she finished speaking, flames emerged from the tip of her Wand, instantly burning down one of the tents.
"Ah, sorry, I accidentally used the wrong magic. It looks like we can only sleep in one tent." >ᴗoಣ
Are you sure you did that by accident?
Looking at Hermione's smiling eyes, Hode swallowed hard and stammered, "Okay... well, then, let's sleep in one tent."
Hode immediately turned around and started grilling.
But his mind began to run wild.
Did Hermione do this on purpose? Did she want to... with me...
No right! I'll be electrocuted into an electric shock boy!
Hode quickly shook his head, trying to shake off these thoughts.
Hermione just purely wanted to sleep together, that's right! Just purely sleeping.
Meanwhile, Hermione also began to regret her actions just now.
Was I a bit too bold just now? What if Hode thinks I'm a promiscuous woman?
The barbecue was soon ready, and Hode handed the grilled meat skewers to Hermione.
"Th-thank you."
Looking at the nervous Hermione, Hode, who had been letting his imagination run wild, instantly stopped panicking.
Exactly, what was he panicking about? Although he might get electrocuted, he wouldn't lose out.
Thinking of this, Hode felt he could do it again.
"Hermione~ Do you really want to sleep with me~"
"N-no way, it's just that the tent happened to get burned."
Hermione pushed away the clinging Hode with her hand and said shyly.
"It's just sleeping, no funny business!"
"Of course!"
After the two had eaten their fill, they sat on the grass and chatted.
"Hode, do you still remember when we first met?"
"Of course, thanks to Professor McGonagall calling out to me, we were able to meet."
Hode added in his heart: And also thanks to Professor McGonagall having something urgent come up, letting me take you to Diagon Alley.
"Yeah, back then, my first impression of you was that you were a very independent young wizard."
Hode raised an eyebrow and said, "Then did you fall for me at that exact moment~"
"No way!"
"Then when was it?"
"Bleh bleh bleh, I'm not telling you."
Hermione stuck her tongue out at Hode, then ran into the tent.
"Haha, this kind of life really is..."
Hode lay down on the ground, looked at the starry sky, felt the breeze brushing his face, smelled the faint fragrance of the grass, and smiled.
"... wonderful!"
But Hode thought of Death again.
Unclear intelligence, unknown strength—Death's words earlier kept lingering in Hode's mind.
Hode hated being unable to do anything, facing a threat yet unable to take the initiative.
Just like his past self who achieved nothing, he hated this feeling.
Even though he had already mastered Infinity and Teleportation, possessing an inherently undefeated position.
But he still worried, what if Death had a move specifically targeting him?
What if it targeted Hermione?
Grow stronger, grow stronger, still grow stronger.
He couldn't slack off too much; at least before dealing with Death, he must be prepared!
Thinking of this, Hode got up and entered the tent.
Because Hode had cast the Undetectable Extension Charm on it beforehand, the inside was very spacious.
The sound of running water came from the bathroom; that was Hermione taking a bath.
Although Hode possessed the ability of perspective, he would never do that to Hermione.
Mainly because he was afraid of being electrocuted.
Hermione finished washing up quickly, and then it was Hode's turn.
After finishing washing up, the two came to the bedroom.
Looking at the large bed that could easily accommodate two people, Hermione swallowed hard.
Although she was ready, this was the first time the two of them were sleeping together, so she still felt nervous.
"Hermione, how about I sleep on the sofa instead? You don't have to force yourself."
"Who... who is forcing themselves?"
After saying that, Hermione pulled Hode onto the bed.
The two lay facing each other, both clearly seeing the flush on each other's faces.
Hode: "Let's sleep."
"Mhm."
With his eyes closed, Hode could smell the fragrance uniquely belonging to Hermione from her body.
And Hermione could also feel the body heat coming from Hode.
Somehow, Hermione's hand inexplicably reached out toward Hode.
Feeling the touch coming from his waist, Hode instantly woke up.
This girl wouldn't actually go through with it, right! This would mean taking quite a bit of electricity!
However, this time Hode was overthinking it; Hermionejust wanted to hold Hode while sleeping.
Then Hode also rested his arm on Hermione's waist, and the two slowly pressed close together.
Then they fell asleep peacefully.
(Just sleeping, nothing happened!)
Early in the morning, Hermione's biological clock woke her up.
Hermione looked at the ladies' watch that Hode gave her.
6:40
It was still early; she completely had time to finish breakfast and then preview the content for today's classes.
But just as she was about to get up, she saw Hodesleeping soundly.
Hermione thought about it, finally adjusted her alarm clock, and then hugged Hode to fall back asleep.
——
"Ring ring——ring ring!"
Hermione squinted her eyes and turned off the alarm.
Then she opened her eyes and checked the time, 7:30.
Hermione hurriedly got up, finished washing up, and took a glance at Hode, who was still fast asleep, before leaving.
She tiptoed over, gently kissed Hode on the cheek, and then left as if fleeing.
"Hengheng~"
Hode, who had been fast asleep, curled the corners of his mouth upward.
Did she really think he was a pig? Would he sleep that deeply?
To guard against Death, which might trap him at any time, Hode never slept too deeply.
After all, his body was strong enough; even sleeping for just one hour a day was enough.
But if he didn't fake sleep, how could he get Hermione's sweet kiss?

(Tried writing about the daily life between Hode and Hermione, it's really hard to write.)
(It took me a long time to write a chapter, and I don't know if everyone likes it.)
Chapter 59 Draco: "Shine my shoes"
Time passed bit by bit.
In the days that followed, Hode kept improving his strength.
Every night, Hermione would come inside the suitcase to accompany Hode.
Meanwhile, Harry and the others matched wits and courage with Snape every day.
Facing Snape, who held two major subjects in his hands, Harry and the others couldn't stop Snape from deducting House points even with all their might.
Just like that, time came to the end of the term.
"What should we do? Snape will definitely write a fail on my Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts grades!"
Harry complained, why on earth did they have to let Snapeact as the temporary Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor?
Isn't this just purely disgusting to Gryffindor?
"What are you afraid of, Harry? Your uncle's family doesn't even care about these things, unlike me; my mum will definitely beat me hard."
Ron lay on the sofa, looking completely listless.
"Your strengths aren't bad right now, don't think too much about it. Maybe Snape has a sudden change of heart."
Hode said from the side, currently repairing Jax's parts in his hands.
"Hode, wasn't Jax completely fine the last time we saw it? How did it break?"
Facing Harry's question, Hode said without even raising his head.
"Jax is a bit weak now, I plan to upgrade it."
In fact, it was just Hode planning to try out his new magic, and then failing to hold back his strength, he dismantled Jax.
At this moment, Luna came into the suitcase holding the report cards.
"Everyone, I've brought the report cards."
Ron: ∑(O_O;)
"How come the grades came out so fast?"
Luna tilted her head, thought about it, and said, "It seems Snape specifically sped up to grade all the assignments, and then the other Professors also sped up."
Ron: "Naturally evil Snape, always doing things to disgust people!"
Then several of them took the report cards and began to look at them.
Hermione was still indisputably first, and Hode didn't take the exams, so his name wasn't there.
And the second place was... Draco?
Harry and Ron looked at the report cards in their hands with shocked expressions, feeling like they had been set up.
When everyone looked, Draco got O in Potions, Charms, and Defense Against the Dark Arts, and E in all other subjects.
Harry and Ron looked at Draco's O's in Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts, feeling incomparably angry.
"Naturally evil Slytherin, always knowing how to play dirty!"
Then several of them looked at their own grades.
Harry and Ron's grades weren't bad at all, ranking right at ninth and tenth.
But they only got A in Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts.
"Snape is so disgusting! We clearly did well enough on the Defense Against the Dark Arts exam, yet he only gave us a pass!"
Hearing Ron's words, Hode smiled, "Alright, don't be ungrateful. The reason he didn't give you lower than a pass is entirely because you did well enough."
Meanwhile, Draco also came into the suitcase, holding a report card.
"Yo, you guys have seen your grades, huh, Potter, Weasley."
Strutting with an arrogant swagger, Draco walked arrogantly in front of Harry.
"Mere ninth place? Hmph, shine my shoes."
Harry: "My fists are hardening!"
Seeing Harry's gloomy face and eyes staring fixedly at him, Draco flashed a punchable smile.
"What I love seeing most is that angry yet helpless look on your face."
At this time, Ron couldn't hold it in anymore.
"Draco, don't be so arrogant! You're only relying on Snapeto help you. If you have the guts, let's go toe-to-toe."
Facing Ron's taunt, Draco remained unmoved.
"Mere tenth place, hurry up and get away from me. I'm afraid your low IQ will infect me."
"Alright, alright, stop talking nonsense."
Hode looked at the time, "The end-of-term ceremony is almost here, let's go."
Afterwards, several of them came to the Great Hall.
Looking at Snape's gloomy face, one could tell that after his months of hard work, he ultimately still failed to pull Gryffindor's House points down.
Hode took a look, good grief, Gryffindor was first, Slytherinwas second, and there was only a ten-point difference between them!
If Snape had tried just a little harder, he might have really surpassed Gryffindor.
But with Old Dumbledore around, even if they were surpassed, he could inexplicably add some points to Gryffindor and make them first again.
"Clang—clang—clang."
Dumbledore tapped his goblet again and then began the end-of-year summary.
However, Dumbledore didn't say too much before starting to let the students eat.
Just for talking so little, Dumbledore could be considered the people's Headmaster.
"Hode, will you be staying at the shop in Diagon Alleyafterwards?"
Harry asked curiously. They already knew that Hode had opened a shop in Diagon Alley.
And business was booming, not only selling yu-gi-oh to attract young wizards.
It also sold some useful Alchemy items, which many Wizards and even Aurors would go to purchase.
"Probably. Although Lupin is watching the shop, he probably won't be able to do it after a while, so I need to find some more people."
Hearing this, Hermione was somewhat puzzled, "Why? Is Mr. Lupin not doing a good job?"
"No, don't worry, before long you'll know."
Hode blinked, looking all mysterious.
Hermione pouted and said, "I hate this look of yours the most. I hate riddle-makers the most."
"Hahaha, but this is really fun." Hode smiled and stroked Hermione's hair.
The ceremony ended, and Harry and the others returned to the dormitory to start packing their things.
"I'm so envious of you guys, just putting everything in the suitcase and walking away."
Harry said with an envious look, then looked at his own belongings.
Clothes, books, toys, and all sorts of random school supplies, plus the large cage for Hedwig.
"Hmph hmph, you guys take your time sorting things out. Hermione and I will leave first."
After speaking, Hode instantly apparated and left with Hermione.
Harry: "...Did Hode just use teleportation?"
Ron: "Seems like it."
The two looked at each other, both seeing the bewilderment in each other's eyes.
"If I'd known, I would have asked Hode to give us a ride back on the way. Too lazy to move all these things."
"Yeah, how could we forget this trick?"
The two scratched their heads, feeling quite annoyed, and in the end honestly boarded the Hogwarts Express.
Meanwhile, the two of them, Hode and Hermione, arrived at Hermione's home.
After Hode released Hermione's things, just as he intended to say goodbye, Hermione grabbed him.
"Since you're already here, why don't we have a meal together!"
Seeing Hermione's look of 'if you don't agree I'll be sad', Hode nodded.
Seeing Hode nod, Hermione immediately grabbed him and walked outside.
"Mum, we're back!"
Hearing Hermione's voice, Mrs. Granger came out to take a look.
She saw Hermione holding Hode's hand as they walked over. Seeing this scene, Mrs. Granger revealed a gratified smile.
"Welcome home, Hermione, Hode."
Chapter 60: Erechtheion Temple
After finishing lunch at Hermione's home, Hode arrived at Diagon Alley.
"Yo, long time no see, Lupin."
"Long time no see, Boss."
Indeed, the two hadn't seen each other for half a year. Usually, when the shop needed restocking, it was Hode's Alchemy puppets that did the job.
Hode came to the counter and took out over a hundred mobile phones.
"Boss, what is this?"
Lupin knew that Hode was proficient in Alchemy, and he had learned a lot himself, especially about Hode's Alchemyitems, which were extremely practical.
He had only recently learned that Hode's Alchemy items were actually very famous in Germany.
Furthermore, they were no longer sold over in Germany, so many Wizards from Germany came here to buy them, which truly gave Lupin a shock.
Although Lupin didn't know what the thing Hode had just taken out was, he knew that this gadget was definitely out of the ordinary.
"This is called a mobile phone. Let me teach you how to use it specifically."
As Hode spoke, he conveniently called over the other two employees and began explaining how to use the mobile phone.
Through Hode's explanation, the few of them quickly understood how to use the mobile phone.
"Boss, didn't you say we need to install magic connectors in various places to access the internet?"
Hode nods: "I've already placed one at Hogwarts, and as long as we place one in our shop and another at the Ministry of Magic, it can cover the whole of Britain."
After finishing, Hode pulled out a circular metal ball and threw it onto the ceiling.
The connector clung tightly to the ceiling like rubber, then faintly glowed with a blue light.
"Is that all it takes?" Lupin asked incredulously.
It was simply too straightforward; he had thought it would require all sorts of complicated procedures to install properly.
"Of course, how could magic be such an inconvenient thing?"
Then Hode handed the mobile phones over to the others and let them sell them.
As for himself, he Apparated to Nurmengard.
"Hi hi hi, I, Hu Hansan, have returned once more!"
"Why are you back again?"
Hode: ( ▼ beneficial ▼ )
Gellert was sitting in the Great Hall reading a book, without even sparing a glance at Hode.
"Hmph, inherently evil Gellert! I've come back today to rid the people of a scourge."
Gellert ignored the clowning Hode and instead threw a notebook at him.
Hode caught it, opened it up to take a look, and inside were some rumors about Death written by Gellert.
"I've already heard from Al. Facing something like a deity, we can't understand much more either; you can only rely on yourself."
"..."
Hode put the notebook into his own pocket. "Rest assured, a mere Death, I'll win."
"Heh, I hope so."
At this time, Rosier heard the noise and walked out of the room.
"Hode! I guessed it was you who came back. Let me see—not bad, you haven't lost weight."
"Heh, it'd be a ghost if he lost weight."
Hode: "Tch, this is called being blessed with a big appetite. Grandma Rosier, this is for you."
Hode took out a mobile phone and handed it to Rosier, then introduced how to use it, and placed a magicconnector on the ceiling.
Rosier quickly got the hang of it and started playing around with it. The moment she opened Douyin, she saw a selfie posted by Hermione of herself and Hode.
"Ahlala, this must be Hermione, she's so cute! It seems our Hode has a really good eye."
"That's for sure. Fortunately, unlike someone, he's a g..."
Before he finished speaking, Gellert threw the book in his hand toward Hode.
"Stinky brat, where's mine?"
"Here you go, here you go."
Hode didn't mind Gellert's previous action and directly tossed a mobile phone to him.
After catching it, Gellert immediately opened Douyin and started scrolling through it.
Because Hode hadn't given it to many people yet, Gellertquickly saw the selfie of the two of them.
"Mhm."
With the expression of looking at his own granddaughter-in-law, Gellert nods.
Gellert: Not bad at all, much cuter than that stinky brat.
"Alright, there's nothing for you here either, get lost quickly. Next time don't come back if you don't bring Hermione."
Gellert waved his hand, seemingly telling Hode to leave quickly.
At this moment, Rosier spoke: "Gellert, it's not easy for Hode to come back once, why are you chasing him away?"
"Grandma Rosier, I have things to do too, I have to go."
Hode had only come back to check on the two of them; he still needed to make a trip to Greece, or rather, the location of Ancient Greece.
Ancient Greece is one of the sources of Western civilization, a collective term for the southern part of the ancient Balkan Peninsula, the Aegean Islands, and the coast of Asia Minor.
Ancient Greece is famous for its mythology, and Death is a deity in Ancient Greek mythology.
Therefore, Hode planned to go to Greece and other places to see if he could find anything.
Watching Hode who wanted to leave, Rosier nods.
"Alright, if you're free later, remember to come back and stay for a few days."
Hode nods, then Apparated away.
————
The capital of Greece: Athens.
Hode had changed into a new set of clothes early on and put on an Alchemy mask that could change his body shape and appearance.
Then Hode turned into a rugged white man standing 1.8 meters tall.
Afterwards, Hode's eyes penetrated everything, accurately locating the position of the Greece Ministry of Magic, and then he Apparated.
Arriving at the Great Hall of the Greece Ministry of Magic, the various Ministry of Magic employees saw someone suddenly break in and successively pulled out their Wands.
"Π ο ι ο ς ε ί σ α ι , Τ ι κ ά ν ε ι ς ε δ ώ ?"
(Who are you, what are you doing here?)
Hode: What gibberish are they speaking?
Although he didn't understand, seeing these people's expressions, Hode knew roughly what it meant without even having to think.
Hode cast a Translation Charm on himself, and then used the Imperius Curse to control the personnel present.
"Where do you keep the intelligence regarding Death?"
"We don't have any intelligence regarding Death."
Facing Hode's question, the Ministry of Magic employees answered dazedly.
"None..." Hode didn't believe they could break free from his Imperius Curse, so the Greece Ministry of Magic truly had no matters concerning Death.
After getting the answer, Hode cast a Memory Charm on all of them and then left.
"Hey, what are you holding your Wands for... No, why am I holding a Wand too?"
A Ministry of Magic employee looked at the Wand in his hand with a dazed expression.
"Something's fishy, it's twelve out of ten fishy," an older employee stroked his thick beard and said.
He thought for a moment, suddenly thought of something, and spoke: "I know, it must be Lord Zeus, the King of Gods, who made us pick up our Wands to pray."
"That's right, I heard Lord Zeus's voice too, it must be like this!"
Then the crowd successively knelt on the ground, held their Wands high above their heads, and began to pray.
This was the current state of Greece: blind and nostalgic.
Believing themselves to still be that same Ancient Greeceof the past that led the era, frantically believing in divine legends.
As for Hode, he had left early on and arrived at a well-known place in Greece.
The place where deities were enshrined according to legend—the Erechtheion Temple!
