Chapter 331 Muggle Studies Class

"Hermione, don't make a sound later!"

Seeing Hermione agree, Levi waved his wand and said, "Disappear without a trace!"

Hermione suddenly felt as if a stream of ice-cold liquid spurted out from the tip of Levi's wand, drenching her from head to toe.

Is this the Disillusionment Charm?!

Thinking this, she looked at Levi, only to find that the spot where the boy had stood was now left with only empty air.

"Levi, where are you?"

Hermione was startled in her heart, quietly searching for Levi.

"I'm here, don't panic!"

Levi's voice rang in Hermione's ear, and immediately after, she felt Levi's hand grab her hand, saying softly, "Follow me, let's sneak in to listen to the class!"

Hermione's little face flushed, her heart beating wildly, and she obediently let Levi pull her into the classroom not far ahead.

Fortunately, the classroom door was open; otherwise, it wouldn't have been easy for Levi and Hermione to walk in effortlessly.

Stepping silently into the classroom, the two invisible people, Levi and Hermione, stood in the back row of the classroom, looking toward the podium and blackboard.

They saw a middle-aged witch in "normal" attire lecturing to the young wizards of the fifth year. Hermione even noticed the Weasley Twins making small movements under the podium, as well as Cedric Diggory who had just passed the test.

"They all chose this class?!"

"Right, they are all young wizards from Wizarding families; they indeed need to take the Muggle Studies Class to understand ordinary people."

Hermione couldn't help thinking in her heart.

Thinking of this, she glanced across and found that the vast majority of people taking this class were young wizards from Wizarding families.

There were hardly any young wizards like her whose parents were ordinary people and who lived in ordinary society themselves.

"Levi is right, I don't need to take the Muggle Studies Classat all, this is completely a waste of time!"

Having figured out the content of the Muggle Studies Class, Hermione immediately decided to give up the Muggle Studies Class elective.

Although she was very eager for knowledge and grades, she was not a maniac; how could she knowingly waste time and still study a course that was of no use to her at all?

Levi's gaze lingered on Professor Burbage's normal attire as she was lecturing.

Compared to other Wizards who liked "mix-and-match" clothing styles or remained in outdated Victorian styles, Professor Burbage's attire was very normal.

So normal that it was as if Professor Burbage was just an ordinary person who entered Hogwarts to teach and had to go back to London to crowd into the subway after class.

As for the teaching content of the Muggle Studies Class, Levi only glanced at it and lost interest.

Most of the content above was equivalent to popular science common sense taught to children in kindergarten.

Ordinary people's daily technological products;

Ordinary people's family and social life;

As well as the scientific and artistic achievements made by ordinary people.

Perhaps those young wizards from isolated Wizarding families would listen with great relish and find it very interesting.

Just like aliens understanding the daily life of Earthlings, it was quite eye-opening.

For young wizards like Levi and Hermione, it was practically the same as sitting in kindergarten listening to a lecture.

"I estimate that the person in the entire Wizarding Worldmost interested in this class is Mr. Arthur Weasley!"

Levi couldn't help thinking in his heart, and remembered the Ford sedan that disappeared into the Forbidden Forest.

If there was a chance in the future, should he, like Arthur, modify goods from the ordinary world and sell them into the Wizarding World?

This might be another good idea to make a fortune!

Keeping this point in mind, Levi and Hermione listened to Professor Burbage's lecture for a while longer.

Except that the teaching content regarding the Mugglepart was relatively childish, the two of them also managed to hear the significance and purpose of this class:

To break pure-blood prejudice and teach Wizards to know that Muggles are not ignorant, inferior lower-class creatures, but simply lack magical abilities, yet they also possess their own wisdom and brilliant civilization!

After all, Wizards' impressions of Muggles still lingered on the witch hunts of the Dark Middle Ages, that group of ignorant people ruled by the Church.

If asked to state Muggles' most advanced technology, Wizards' answers might very well be the steam engine and the spinning jenny!

I'm afraid Wizards couldn't even imagine that Muggles' technology is changing with each passing day; in another twenty or thirty years, they might have nowhere to hide!

"Let's go," Levi called out in a low voice, pulling Hermione's little hand and leaving the classroom on tiptoe.

After walking out of the classroom, Levi lifted the Disillusionment Charm, glanced at Hermione, and seeing that there was no longer any confusion on the little witch's face, he said with a smile:

"Hermione, it seems you have already made your choice?"

Hermione nodded and said very decisively:

"Studying the Muggle Studies Class is meaningless to me and a complete waste of time. I am not going to choose this class anymore!"

Saying this, Hermione looked at Levi with puzzlement again:

"What about you? Levi, are you still going to take this class?"

"You shouldn't need to take this Muggle Studies Classeither, right?"

"I feel that young wizards like us who come from ordinary backgrounds can't learn anything useful in this class at all."

But under Hermione's puzzled gaze, Levi shook his head and said:

"Hermione, I am going to take this class. This class still has meaning for me."

"The Muggle Studies Class can just let me view ordinary people from a Wizard's perspective and understand Wizards' views on ordinary people."

"Don't forget, ordinary people's technological development changes with each passing day."

"According to our initial speculation, one day, Wizards will be exposed to the eyes of ordinary people."

"At that time, middlemen like us will need to understand each other's views on one another in order to mediate the conflicts between both sides!"

Levi's words could be described as far-sighted, completely thinking for the future.

But in reality, he was completely lying; choosing the Muggle Studies Class was simply to earn Academic Credits.

As for the future conflicts between Wizards and ordinary people, not to mention the enemies from the other side of the world gate, Levi himself understood that everything boiled down to relying on sufficient strength to solve.

By the moment Wizards are exposed in front of ordinary people.

If Levi can achieve world-destroying power, he believes that both Wizards and ordinary people will definitely be able to sit down calmly under Levi's leadership and have a good talk.

As for what to do if Levi can't achieve that?

If he can't, he'll just protect himself and stay out of trouble!

Levi wasn't the kind of person who insisted on benefiting the world when successful; with his current magical attainment and strength, protecting himself in the future and safeguarding the people he cared about wouldn't be a difficult task at all.

On the contrary, Hermione, after hearing Levi's righteous words, began to struggle internally again.

Levi's words were right; although the content taught in the Muggle Studies Class was childish, its significance and orientation were extraordinary. Should she reconsider?

"Alright, I can just go listen to this class; there's no need for both of us to waste time!"

Levi saw Hermione's hesitation and directly made the decision for Hermione with a single sentence.

"Alright then, after listening to the Muggle Studies Class, you must lend me your notes to read!"

Hermione the study maniac never wasted a single bit of learning opportunity.

"No problem, just wait for it then!"

Levi had no objections; whether he took notes or what he recorded at that time was entirely up to him to decide.

He calculated in his heart, took Hermione's hand, ran downstairs, and while running, said:

"Come quickly, I still remember that at this time, there is also a Divination by Professor Trelawney!"

"You can just try it out and see if you have any talent for divination!"

"Slow down," Hermione said sweetly with a radiant smile as she was pulled along running by Levi.

The young boy and girl running like the wind both wore joyful smiles on their faces...

Chapter 332: Divination, Prophecy

"It's simply insane! What on earth is all this?"

As soon as Hermione and Levi left the classroom of the Divination, she couldn't help but rant wildly:

"Staring at the drifting mists in the crystal ball and saying some vague, ambiguous clichés without any rigorous basis—is this what they call divination?"

"I must be out of my mind! To think I actually wanted to elect such a course before!"

"Levi, I must drop this divination. When ProfessorTrelawney is lecturing, she is simply talking nonsense!"

"And some of the divination results are always about dead people and bloody disasters; it's simply alarmist!

She just wants to use this method to scare the people who come for divination and defraud them of money!"

"I've read in books that former Gypsy women used this exact way to swindle money!"

"How could Headmaster Dumbledore let such a fraud sneak into Hogwarts to teach?! No, I'm going to tell Professor McGonagall later!"

Levi listened to Hermione's rant with amusement from the side; he had long anticipated that Hermione would have such a reaction.

Without any divination talent, listening to ProfessorTrelawney's lectures really makes one feel that she is just talking nonsense.

Especially since the little McGonagall wanting to report this matter to the old Hermione made Levi find it even more amusing!

Because Professor McGonagall also shared the exact same attitude as Hermione, feeling that Professor Trelawneywas playing the fool and that her Divination was completely talking nonsense, having no qualification whatsoever to serve as a Professor!

Probably only Headmaster Dumbledore knew that Professor Trelawney was a diviner possessing genuine prophetic bloodline, capable of entering a state of scry-vision to foresee the future and make real prophecies!

"What are you smiling at?"

Seeing that she had been speaking so seriously and was quite infuriated while Levi was still standing there silly-smiling, Hermione asked unhappily.

"Nothing, nothing, everything you said is right!"

Seeing that Hermione had a tendency to transform into a tyrannical girlfriend, Levi quickly pleaded for mercy and said.

However, shifting his words, he took the initiative to defend Professor Trelawney:

"Actually, the Divination is not very suitable for the vast majority of young wizards in the entire Hogwarts."

"Because the Divination truly requires divination talent and the ability to enter scry-vision; without this talent and ability, a Wizard can simply never master true divination through studying!"

"At least given the current magic level of the wizarding world, this cannot be done!"

"What a pity, Hermione, I'm afraid you are also one of the vast majority of young wizards who do not possess divination talent, which is why you feel ProfessorTrelawney is talking utter nonsense!"

Hearing Levi's explanation, Hermione was not quite convinced in her heart. What do you mean I have no talent? Everyone is a Wizard, could there possibly be any differences?

Seeing Hermione's huffing and puffing appearance with her little face puffed up like a little pufferfish, Levi knew what this little witch was thinking in her heart.

"How about this, I feel I'm quite talented in divination. Let me show you how a talented person performs divination, how about that?"

Presenting facts and reasoning, after listening to ProfessorTrelawney's lecture, Levi also wanted to test whether the divination talent he obtained from teacher Nicolas Flameland his own Death Omen trait were actually useful or not.

Hearing Levi's words, Hermione felt even more unconvinced in her heart. What do you mean you have talent and I don't?!

Clearly Professor Trelawney was a fraud, and so-called divination was just talking nonsense—how could there possibly be such a thing as divination talent?

And as for the so-called scry-vision, could someone really foresee the future?

"Fine, then you do a divination: who will we two meet right after we leave here?"

Full of defiance and refusing to believe that divination was actually a real thing, Hermione immediately gave her divination requirement.

"Alright, then I'll give it a try and do a divination!"

Hearing Hermione's requirement be so precise, Levi also felt a bit diffident inside. After all, this was his first time doing divination; if he failed to get any result at all, wouldn't that be slapping his own face?!

He bought a prophecy crystal ball in the Shop and held it in his hands.

A pair of silver eyes closely stared at the ethereal white mist inside the crystal ball, and imitating ProfessorTrelawney, he danced his fingers and chanted the spell:

"Mist of time, reveal to me the possible scenes of the future!

I want to know, who will Hermione and I meet next?"

Hermione leaned close to Levi's side, shoulder to shoulder, with her little face tensed up, looking at the white mist in the crystal ball and listening to the mumbo-jumbo spell.

But the more she looked, the more confused she became. Apart from the ethereal mist in the crystal ball, she saw nothing at all!

On the contrary, in Levi's eyes, the mist in the crystal ball shifted and gradually transformed into a hazy image—a staircase extending downward.

Below the stairs was a corner, and a group of people burst into the image from behind the corner. They were wearing long robes, and only their hems could be seen, with nothing above the knees visible.

However, the faintly visible broomstick in the projection, especially its very distinct Firebolt shape, already let Leviknow who he and Hermione were going to meet next.

The image dissipated, and Levi moved his gaze away from the prophecy crystal ball. Hermione immediately asked:

"How is it? Have you divined who we are going to meet next?"

Thinking of those robe hems, the style matched with bronze and blue, and the images of several Firebolts, how could Levi not know the answer? He immediately replied:

"There is a result. In a moment we will encounter the Ravenclaw Team."

"Your house's team? Really or fake?"

Hearing this, Hermione looked completely disbelieving. With a suspicious look, she sized up Levi's expression and guessed:

"You wouldn't have seen nothing at all, but knowing in advance the training time of your house's team today, guessed that they would return to the castle at this time point, pass by the next intersection, and then made this deduction, right?!"

"Merlin! If this can also be considered divination, then I can divine too!"

Hearing this, Levi showed a bitter smile, and spreading his hands like a little bear, said:

"No, it's originally an abstruse matter. If you don't believe it, there's nothing I can do!"

"But the result of the divination is that if we set off now, the first person we encounter later will very likely be a member of the Ravenclaw Team!"

"Hmph, I don't believe it at all!"

The little witch Hermione cutely rolled her eyes and said with a full expression of disdain.

She would never believe such an abstruse divination result that was almost like talking nonsense!

Gazing at both ends of the corridor, Hermione's eyeballs rolled around, chose an option facing away from the two, and walked towards the staircase in that direction.

She simply refused to believe that Levi could really see the first person they would encounter next through that mist-filled crystal ball.

Pulling Levi's hand, Hermione hurried through the long corridor, facing a downward staircase.

The two of them had just walked down the stairs when they heard a burst of footsteps coming from the corner.

Levi and Hermione instantly held their breath, standing on the stairs full of anticipation, waiting for the people from the corner to walk up, waiting for the verification of the divination result.

Chapter 333 Hermione's Choice

"Roger, where did you hide the Quaffle during the training session earlier? I haven't been able to find it anywhere!"

"Hahaha, go find it! I hid it in..."

From around the corner of the staircase came the laughter and chatter of the Ravenclaw Team.

Following the sound, Levi and Hermione saw that the members of the Ravenclaw Team had just finished training and were walking up the corner of the staircase, chatting and laughing while holding broomsticks and training equipment.

"He actually guessed it right!"

Hermione's pupils dilated in shock, and her heart was filled with disbelief. Even now, she still didn't think this was the result of divination, simply attributing it to Levi's guess.

"I didn't expect that I actually managed to divine it. I need to practice this divination skill well; at times, it's practically more useful than a Potion!"

Levi hadn't expected his divination to be so accurate.

Back when he was transitioning into a Bloodline Warlock, he had hesitated due to the dangers of bloodline fusion.

If he had possessed such a divination skill back then, he could have entirely used the result of the divination to decide whether to proceed with the bloodline fusion.

"Levi, Hermione, why are you two here? Oh, I see, you are..."

Roger Davies, the captain of the Ravenclaw Team, was chatting and laughing with the team members when he looked up and noticed Levi and Hermione.

Before Levi and Hermione could explain, he wore a look of sudden realization, flashing them a knowing and teasing smile, his facial expression full of profound meaning.

Who in all of Hogwarts didn't know that Ravenclaw's notebook gentleman and Gryffindor's Miss Know-It-Allwere a match made in heaven, always accompanying each other, moving in pairs, and even spending the holidays together!

"You two take your time chatting, let's hurry up and leave!"

Feeling that he had interrupted Levi and Hermione's date, Roger quickly greeted the Ravenclaw Team players and hurried them away.

The broomsticks of their team were sponsored by the big boss Levi after all; they wouldn't dare disturb the big boss's date!

The team members left while giggling, which instead made both Levi and Hermione blush red. They exchanged glances, feeling too embarrassed to speak.

However, even though Levi's divination ability had been verified and it proved that the Divination indeed required talent and ability,

Hermione still firmly believed that the Divination was simply a course full of nonsense, and the instructor, Professor Trelawney, was a fraud.

Just like the Muggle Studies Class, she decided to abandon the Divination as well.

Afterward, Levi took Hermione with him under an invisibility spell to successively sit in on the Arithmancy Class, the Care of Magical Creatures class, and the most advanced Ancient Runes class.

Facts proved that a little witch like Hermione was truly interested in divination.

Even though Professor Trelawney's Divination earlier had left Hermione with a bad impression,

after she sat in on the logically rigorous and closely calculated Arithmancy, she still decided to choose this course and study it in the next school year.

Ancient Runes was mandatory, there was nothing to say about that; if one wanted to learn more advanced magic, they had to have an understanding of Ancient Runes.

Furthermore, as a student who inherited a portion of the legacy of Nicolas Flamel and his wife, Hermione also prepared to study Alchemy in the future, making the study of Ancient Runes even more necessary.

Instead, it was the Care of Magical Creatures class that made Hermione somewhat hesitant.

The instructor of the Care of Magical Creatures class was Professor Sylvanus Kettleburn, who was elderly and weathered, with only one hand and half a leg left.

This Professor's personality was cut from the same cloth as Hagrid, or rather, Hagrid was his true disciple, clearly inheriting the same attitude towards Magical Creatures as him.

He extremely loved Magical Creatures, being passionate yet very reckless, and just like Hagrid, he always tended to underestimate the danger of beasts.

This Professor had spent his entire life dealing with dangerous Magical Creatures, which could be seen from the fact that he only had one arm and half a leg left.

With a Wizard's medical standards, to still be left with such severe limb amputations, one could imagine how rash he was when interacting with Magical Creatures.

Professor Kettleburn also left behind an unbeatable educational record: during his tenure at the school, he accumulated a total of 62 disciplinary probations, which remained unbroken to this day.

Levi and Hermione even heard senior students talk about how this humorous and rash old Professor once performed the play The Fountain of Fair Fortune for Hogwarts, using magic to control an Ashwinder to play a bug, resulting in the Ashwinder going out of control and burning down the Great Hall.

"In a sense, this old Professor also fulfilled his childhood dream from when he was a student—he set the school on fire!"

Leaving Professor Kettleburn's teaching venue, Levievaluated with an amused expression.

What were the troubles he caused compared to this Professor Kettleburn from Hufflepuff, who was the real trouble-maker!

Hermione was also left speechless with a bitter smile, but she had to admit that the old Professor's lectures were truly vivid and interesting, the lecture content was lively and detailed, and it left room for students to practice hands-on.

If she could attend this old Professor's classes, Hermionewould choose this elective course as well.

However, Hermione hesitated for a moment and asked Levi:

"Levi, is your information accurate?"

"Next school year, Professor Kettleburn will retire?"

"Then who will be the Professor teaching us the course on protecting Magical Creatures?"

Hearing Hermione's inquiry, Levi smiled mysteriously:

"This is a secret. If I told you in advance, there wouldn't be any sense of anticipation!"

Hearing this, Hermione felt her heart itch as if scratched by a cat, and she desperately wanted to pursue the answer from Levi.

But Levi changed the subject and persuaded Hermione:

"As a Wizard, we always have to deal with Magical Creatures. My suggestion is that you should still choose this course; learning more about Magical Creatures won't do you any harm!"

Hearing this, Hermione thought about it seriously and nodded.

Recalling her experiences along the way, wasn't the world of magic composed of wonderful magic, alchemical creations, and various Magical Creatures?

If she didn't choose the Care of Magical Creatures class, wouldn't her magical learning journey be missing a corner!

As a result, Hermione's elective courses for the next semester were determined: Arithmancy, Ancient Runes, and Care of Magical Creatures.

With three elective courses, given Hermione's learning ability and energy, plus the school's schedule adjustments, she could completely handle and sustain it.

As for Levi, he could casually choose all five!

After submitting the course selection form to Professor McGonagall, Hermione's course selection didn't cause any commotion like in the original book.

Instead, Professor Levi Keynes had to make a trip to Deputy Headmaster Professor McGonagall's office to properly explain why he had chosen all five courses?!

Chapter 334: Levi's Reason

Accompanied by Hermione, Levi familiarly came to Professor McGonagall's office.

In fact, when it came to familiarity with this office in all of Hogwarts, Professor McGonagall ranked first, and Levicould definitely rank second.

There was no helping it, since most of Levi's detentions were spent in this classroom!

"Levi, Hermione, make yourselves at home!"

Professor McGonagall spoke, directly calling Levi and Hermione by their first names.

Outside of formal occasions like classes, everyone, being quite familiar with one another, would not address each other by surname plus Mr. or Miss.

Levi and Hermione found a place to sit down, obediently waiting for Professor McGonagall's inquiry.

Professor McGonagall flipped through Levi and Hermione's course selection forms, first evaluating Hermione's choices:

"Arithmancy, Ancient Runes, plus Care of Magical Creatures, this is a wise choice, Hermione!"

"Though I am unwilling to admit it, Divination depends entirely on talent."

"In all of Hogwarts, there is no one who possesses the talent for divination, and the content of this class is completely made up!"

Levi found it amusing to listen to; he had not expected that Professor McGonagall, who always presented herself as serious and strict, would secretly shade ProfessorTrelawney like this.

But there was no helping it; when Professor Trelawneywas not entering a state of spirit vision to make true prophecies, she looked pretty much like a feigned-mad swindler.

Moreover, this Professor liked to drink sherry, using all the salary issued by the school to buy alcohol, and usually hid in the attic of her own classroom to be a drunkard.

Divination was still that kind of ghostly, vaguely guessed subject, not rigorous at all, and even less logical.

How could Professor McGonagall, who always took seriousness and strictness as her code of conduct, stand the sight of it?

Perhaps in Professor McGonagall's eyes, ProfessorTrelawney was simply a stain polluting the Hogwartsteaching staff!

"As for Muggle Studies Class, young wizards like you from Muggle society basically do not need to take this class, what do you say, Levi?"

After reviewing Hermione's course selections, Professor McGonagall pointed the spearhead of her question at Levi.

The other courses were easy to talk about, but she truly couldn't understand why a young wizard from Mugglesociety like Levi would still choose Muggle Studies Class?

Wasn't this as absurd as international students from China studying Chinese language and literature in foreign universities?!

"Professor, before answering your question, let me first state the reasons why I chose my courses this way!"

In front of Professor McGonagall, Levi sat up straight, looking so serious and earnest that it didn't even seem like himself:

"First of all, the most realistic reason is that I want to learn as much knowledge as possible and get more O.W.L. certificates; I don't want to miss any single class."

"If in the future, all twelve of my subjects can get Outstanding-grade certificates, this will be of great help to my employment!"

"Secondly, I feel that among the five courses offered by the school, any single one has its value, whether for young wizards from the wizarding society or for young wizards from Muggle society."

"For example, the Muggle Studies Class you mentioned, its educational content is indeed too naive for me, basically just common sense in Muggle society."

"However, the concept of equality between ordinary people and Wizards promoted by Muggle Studies Class is something that a young wizard like me, coming from Muggle society, can hardly experience firsthand."

"I actually really want to know how Wizards who have stayed in the enclosed wizarding world for a long time view ordinary people?"

"Even more, I want to use this to research a way so that Wizards of different origins and ordinary people can all realize that everyone is equal!"

Professor McGonagall listened to Levi's words thoughtfully, especially looking at Levi's youthful face, which couldn't help but remind her of the speech Levidelivered publicly last academic year.

pure-blood wizard, half-blood Wizard, Muggle Wizard—so-called bloodline discrimination in Hogwarts and even throughout the wizarding world could be said to not exist subjectively, but exist objectively.

But ever since Levi delivered his speech last academic year, inside the school, among young wizards, discrimination regarding bloodlines and origins had almost disappeared.

Professor McGonagall certainly knew whose credit this was!

As Levi's guide into the wizarding world, Professor McGonagall was also deeply proud to have such a student.

"Levi, you have convinced me!"

Levi's goal deeply touched Professor McGonagall; she nodded seriously and stamped the seal of approval on Levi's course selection application form.

"I hope you can seriously treat every subject, and not live up to the teachings of the Professors and your own ideals."

After stamping the seal, Professor McGonagall put away the course selection sheet and left a parting wish.

Logically speaking, at this time, Levi and Hermione should have been preparing to get up and leave.

However, Hermione, who accompanied Levi here, still curiously asked Professor McGonagall:

"Professor, many of the courses Levi chose conflict with the third-year courses. How will the school arrange his classes?"

Hearing this, Professor McGonagall lowered her head slightly, her pair of emerald-like green eyes bypassing the square glasses on the bridge of her nose, her lips pursed as she scrutinized Hermione who asked the question and Leviwho was sitting obediently.

"I cannot answer this question now, but I can guarantee on behalf of the school that Mr. Keens' course schedule will definitely be properly arranged."

After giving a proper runaround of official jargon, Professor McGonagall chased Levi and Hermione out of the office.

What could she say?

Could she possibly say that the school would apply for a Time-Turner?

The use of a Time-Turner had so many taboos; except for Levi next academic year, Professor McGonagall would not let anyone else know now.

And it was precisely because it involved the use of a Time-Turner that Professor McGonagall called Levi over to inquire.

Otherwise, choosing a few elective courses was Levi's freedom, and neither Professor McGonagall nor the school would interfere.

Levi and Hermione left Professor McGonagall's office. Walking on the road, Hermione was still curious about how the school prepared to arrange Levi's class time.

But Levi already knew the answer, and even had a Time-Turner in his hands.

Back when he changed classes to Bloodline Warlock and fused with the Silver Dragon Bloodline, he dared not be sure whether the experiment could succeed, nor did he know whether it would cause terrible consequences.

Therefore, right before the bloodline fusion ritual started, Levi bought a Time-Turner.

This Time-Turner was left for the future Levi to use.

Levi's purpose was not to change the terrible experimental results of the future.

But rather to let the future Levi return to the past and prevent the past Levi from conducting the experiment.

A Time-Turner could not change the already established results of the future.

But it could allow people from the future to return to the past, changing the direction of things before the established results were formed, and making things that had not happened in the past change toward the future that future people desired.

However, Levi's bloodline fusion ritual was very successful, and he successfully changed classes to become a Silver Dragon Bloodline Sorcerer.

Consequently, Levi did not use the Time-Turner to prevent the experiment from proceeding.

"If I use this Time-Turner now, will it trigger some kind of MOD, like a time MOD?"

Levi felt the Time-Turner in his Storage Space, thoughtful and somewhat eager to make a move.

However, considering that time was truly too bizarre,

and furthermore, this Time-Turner of his was bought from the system Shop, which might not trigger a MOD, so Levidid not take action.

"If I really want to trigger a MOD, I'd better wait until next academic year when Professor McGonagall applies for the Ministry of Magic's Time-Turner!"

Giving up the idea of stirring up trouble, Levi now just wanted to thoroughly enjoy the remaining second-year time he had at Hogwarts.

Chapter 335 The School Year is Coming to an End

Actually, before Levi invented the hero king game console, the daily recreational games of the young wizards at Hogwarts were rather lackluster.

The young wizards were pitiful; what could they play?

It was nothing more than Wizard's Chess, Shinny cards, Gobstones, and the like!

There is not much to say about Wizard's Chess; it was the wizarding version of chess, but every piece was alive and would sometimes speak out against the player making the moves.

Ron Weasley was an expert at this. Holding the set of Wizard's Chess passed down by his grandfather, he dominated the entire house without a match.

But ever since they got the hero king game console, they hardly played Wizard's Chess anymore!

"Wizard's Chess and things like that, I'm really not familiar with them, stay away, I am the King of Heroes!"

As for Shinny cards, they were somewhat similar to poker, except that when the cards were played, they would emit a violent flash, giving people a huge fright!

It was like playing cards with special effects!

The Weasley Twins liked playing Shinny cards the most, and they loved using the flash of the cards to give people a huge fright!

There was also Gobstones, similar to marbles, and the way to play was also like playing marbles, except that the person who lost would get a faceful of smelly juice from the Gobstones!

young wizards from other houses all felt that the Gobstones game was a bit tacky.

However, the young wizards of Hufflepuff felt that this game was very interesting and could be played by many people together!

However, as mentioned before, these three games might have been very popular at Hogwarts in the past, but after Levi's hero king game console swept through Hogwarts, all three games were swept into the dustbin!

"Video games truly ruin people!"

Walking in Hogwarts Castle and looking at the young wizards who were dazzled by the hero king game console, Levi said with heartache, just like certain parents.

As for where these video games came from, don't ask!

"Hermione, the weather is nice today, how about the two of us go for a walk by the Black Lake?"

Since there was nothing fun to do at school, Levi extended a walking invitation to Hermione.

"Alright." Having just finished her homework, Hermioneheard Levi's invitation, tidied up her books, and readily agreed.

Levi and Hermione walked side by side out of the castleand crossed the lawn.

The grass blades, stained with cool moisture, brushed against the soles of their boots, and the wind swept across the wilderness, carrying away the commotion in the Great Hall behind them.

The two walked slowly to the shore of the Black Lake, the deep blue lake water shimmering with a soft light.

In the distance, a huge tentacle floated on the water surface, undulating slowly, stirring the water surface, causing splashes and making a sloshing sound.

Hermione was attracted by the sound and turned her head slightly, the breeze lifting her hair and dancing lightly!

Levi turned his head sideways, saw this beautiful scene, and said softly with a smile:

"Hermione, do you know? Actually, the giant squid in the Black Tide is Gryffindor's Animagus form!"

"In other words, the giant squid is actually Gryffindor!"

"Ah?" little witch Hermione was watching some young wizards nearby feeding bread to the giant squid. Hearing Levi's words, she was extremely surprised in her heart!

"How is this possible?"

"This giant squid has stayed in the Black Tide for several hundred years, how could a Wizard live..."

She retorted subconsciously, but then suddenly remembered the deceased Nicolas Flamel and his wife.

"You might not believe it, let me tell you the facts and reason with you!"

Seeing Hermione's appearance, Levi chuckled inwardly and began to talk nonsense:

"You see, more than a thousand years ago, after Godric Gryffindor feigned his death, the giant squid appeared, and the two have never appeared on the same occasion at the same time;"

"Such a huge giant squid has such a gentle personality, and cares for the young wizards of the school. Who else could it be besides the the Four Founders?"

"And, one night when I couldn't sleep and came out for a walk, I even saw with my own eyes the giant squid turn into an old man with a white beard, coming ashore and looking at Hogwarts Castle with a gaze full of longing!"

"As everyone knows, among the the Four Founders, only Slytherin and Gryffindor were men, and Slytherin actively left the castle, so it must be Gryffindor without a doubt!"

Hermione listened with shock all over her face and said with disbelief:

"How is this possible? Levi, could you have seen wrong?"

"Such a big matter, have you told Headmaster Dumbledore, he..."

As she spoke, Hermione stopped because she noticed that Levi's face broke into a big smile, looking extremely wicked!

"Levi, you actually lied to me!"

"Hahaha~"

While other people took little girls to see goldfish, Levitook the little witch to see a giant squid, and even dared to talk nonsense and deceive the little witch!

Naturally, he received a severe punishment from the little witch, properly tasting the iron fist of sanction from the little witch!

Playing, walking, teasing the little witch, teaching the Defense Against the Dark Arts class—Levi's leisurely second-year school life passed by day by day like this.

However, his magic cultivation had not slackened. After making Tower Spirit No. 3 and No. 4, about every three or four days, Levi would harvest an optimized Zero-circle Cantrip template.

Before the end of the second-year school year, he had completed the optimization of all Zero-circle Cantrip Spell Templates and entered the optimization stage of first-circle arcane Spell Templates.

"Originally, optimizing a first-circle arcane Spell Templaterequired a month. Now with No. 3 and No. 4, it only takes about half a month!"

"In this way, in the second half of this year, I can try to break through to a second-circle Arcanist!"

Examining himself with Source View, Levi felt extremely satisfied in his heart as he sensed the Spell Templates that were more complete, more powerful, yet consumed less mana and absorbed magic faster at the same time.

Even though the four Tower Spirits still hadn't deduced the meditation method he wanted.

But relying solely on the optimized Spell Templates to absorb magic and nourish the soul, the speed was already fast enough!

The only pity was that the Silver Dragon Bloodline Sorcerer class he switched to mainly brought strength growth concentrated in terms of mana and physique.

Nourishment for the soul could only be carried out in the later stages of the sorcerer class; otherwise, the soul's metamorphosis would be even faster.

Aside from magic cultivation, the remainder of Levi's second year was concentrated on Potion research.

Relying on his world-top Potion talent, coupled with Professor Snape's collection of medicinal herbs, as well as rare medicinal herbs purchased in the Shop, Levi's Potionresearch had been steadily advancing.

Of course, for the entire experimental process, he also had to thank Aragog for his heartfelt contribution as an experimental subject!

However, the Acromantula Aragog was not without gains either. Although the various Potions given to him by Levisometimes made Aragog vomit and have diarrhea, get poisoned and vomit blood, wishing for death several times.

But some Potions also miraculously enhanced Aragog's vitality and soul power, and his lifespan was indeed extended!

"My golden cow and spinning king, your good days are still ahead of you!"

Levi said happily, patting the giant leg of the Acromantula"pig" Aragog.

Chapter 336: My Career Has No Regrets

"I am so disappointed in you. How many times have I gone over this question? And you still got it wrong!"

In the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, Levi was holding a pitch-white test paper and explaining the questions, while the young wizards under the podium wore expressions of absolute despair.

They simply couldn't understand how Levi, a thirteen-year-old young wizard, could teach a class just like an old Professor who had been teaching for more than twenty years?

Age thirteen, teaching experience twenty-five years—wait, is this scientific? Is this magic?

He had a whole repertoire of catchphrases, and he spoke even more fluently than Professor Snape and Professor McGonagall!

"You few in the back, what are you doing with your heads down?"

"Look at the blackboard, do not lower your heads, and don't let me catch you playing with a game console down there, or don't blame me for confiscating it!"

The culprit, Professor Levi Keynes, swept his gaze across the room, and all the young wizards under the podium immediately sat up straight.

They knew full well that despite Levi's young age, this Professor never joked around!

The game console belonging to the Weasley Twins had been confiscated by Levi more than once!

Word was spreading privately that on the Weasley Twins' hatred list, the number one spot had long ceased to be the castle caretaker Filch!

As for who number one actually was, they could only say that those who understood understood, and those who didn't didn't need to be told. Anyway, the interests involved were simply too huge! I am vanishing!

"I'm not criticizing you; this is all for your own good in the future!"

Levi's expression changed, turning earnest and persuasive:

"Just think about it, the final exams are coming up soon, and yet there are still people who can't figure out such simple knowledge points."

"Is magic something for me to learn? Is it for your parents to learn? magic is for you to learn yourselves!

This test paper wasn't difficult at all; it was just your own carelessness!"

"Alright, let's continue with the questions. Everyone look at this question..."

Levi continued going over the test paper. The chalk automatically wrote down the key points and problem-solving steps on the blackboard, while he turned around from time to time to maintain classroom discipline.

"Alright, I've finished explaining this question. Did everyone understand? If anyone didn't understand, raise your hand!"

There was dead silence beneath the podium. Not a single person raised their hand; even if someone hadn't understood, they wouldn't want to raise their hand.

Levi was so exasperated that he laughed. He scanned the classroom before saying amid the suffocating atmosphere:

"Very good, it seems everyone understood!

Now I will start roll-calling, ask someone to answer the question, and explain their understanding of this question to everyone!"

Here it comes again, here it comes again!

Hearing Levi pull out this ultimate move once more, the young wizards beneath the podium instantly displayed all forms of life in this world.

Some people didn't know how to do it, yet feigned composure, holding their necks high like a swan, looking as if they understood everything and weren't afraid of being questioned!

Other people didn't know, but played the ostrich, burying their heads beneath their books and arms, looking like they were burying their heads in the sand to deceive themselves, as if to say you can't see me!

"Alright, then let's invite..."

Levi deliberately slowed down his speaking pace, as if doom could strike at any moment, enjoying the terror he brought to the young wizards!

Heh-heh-heh! I am truly the most terrifying Dark Lord!

Under Levi's guidance, the tense and thrilling Defense Against the Dark Arts class finally reached the time for class to end.

The young wizards in the classroom all heaved a sigh of relief:

It was too terrifying. No matter how many times it happened, they couldn't help but sigh, wondering who on earth Levi learned these tricks from?!

"Alright, the final Defense Against the Dark Arts class of this school year ends here!

Next school year, it probably won't be me teaching you Defense Against the Dark Arts anymore!"

Amid the complex gazes of the young wizards, Levidelivered his final remarks.

Hearing this, some young wizards in the classroom even shed tears, loudly praising him:

"Levi, you are the best Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor we have ever seen!"

"That's right, if it weren't for that damned Curse, how wonderful it would be if you continued to teach us next year!"

That's just because you haven't experienced anything better!

Levi couldn't help muttering inwardly. Truth be told, he was also reluctant to part with the Professor position.

It wasn't that he couldn't bear to leave these students; everyone would still be in the same school afterwards, so what was there to be reluctant about?

He just couldn't bear to part with the Academic Credits fed back by the professor mod for every single class he taught.

As for being a teacher, such exhausting work—only true gardeners would spare no effort, enduring hardship day after day for over a decade to nurture the flowers of the future!

Secretly summarizing his Professor career of the past half-year, Levi withdrew the look of emotion on his face and said earnestly:

"Alright, everyone, say no more!"

"With the exams approaching, I still want to remind everyone to review diligently after going back. In the remaining time, don't just think about playing with the game console; calm down and review properly.

For example, take out the incorrect questions from your test papers. Don't just look at the answers and call it a day; figure out where you went wrong..."

Levi felt just like a high school head teacher conducting the final mobilization before the college entrance examination, and he didn't forget to remind the young wizards:

"Those of you who haven't attempted the test classroom yet, hurry up and go try it. The grading for the practical exam is determined entirely based on your clearance scores!"

"That's it, goodbye everyone, class dismissed!"

"Goodbye, Professor." Hearing this, all the young wizards stood up and said their farewells to Levi.

Without turning his head, Levi walked out of the classroom, merely raising his hand to wave.

The moment he stepped out of the classroom, Levi saw his friends, led by Hermione, Harley, Ron, and his two roommates, waiting early at the doorway.

"Levi, you didn't cry because you couldn't bear to leave, did you?"

The Weasley Twins joked, trying to lighten Levi's mood.

"It's not like we won't see each other again. What's there to cry about?"

Levi rolled his eyes, even though the atmosphere just now had inexplicably reminded him of the scenes at high school graduation.

But his identity and experiences now were completely different, so naturally he didn't feel much sense of parting.

"That's good, that's good," Hermione, Harley, and the others nodded repeatedly upon hearing this.

They also felt that what the young wizards in the classroom said was right:

Although Levi was their friend and classmate, they still had to say that Levi was the best Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor they had ever seen.

Over the past half year, the test classrooms had enhanced their practical combat abilities.

The simple and crude cramming-style teaching filled in their gaps and made up for the long-standing knowledge deficiencies in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class.

Half a year had passed, and the young wizards across all seven grades and four Houses of Hogwarts had benefited immensely!

Levi deserved such praise!

"Everyone don't worry, having concluded my career as a Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor, I only feel that it has been entirely without regret!"

"I think many years from now, whenever I look back on running under the sunset at Hogwarts, it will be a rare and passing youth!"

Levi glanced at the Academic Credits on the system panel and said with immense emotion.

Chapter 337: Championship Judges

Levi's teaching career came to an end, and Hogwarts' final exams began.

Don't look at Levi as the Professor of the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, but he also had to obediently go take exams from the Professors of other subjects.

However, with Levi's academic performance and magicattainments, testing second-year young wizards with note-taking questions and magic practicals was completely child's play for him!

It's just that he didn't dare open his mouth to let the Professors shine his shoes!

As for the Defense Against the Dark Arts class exam he was responsible for, handling it was even simpler to the extreme.

Levi only needed to create a set of test papers as the written exam paper, and let the young wizards except for the fifth and seventh years take the written exam.

After the written exam was completed, he handed the test papers to the class representatives of the seven grades for scoring, and he only needed to grade those subjective questions.

The practical part of the exam had long been completed.

He only needed to go to the entrance of the challenge classroom once, copy down the checkpoint clearance scores of each young wizard, and score them according to the checkpoint clearance records.

Handling the Defense Against the Dark Arts class exam matters wasn't hard, but during the Potions Class exam, Professor Snape's performance was quite abnormal.

After arranging the exam content, he didn't go down to invigilate and patrol, but just sat there somewhat blankly, looking at Harry Potter with a bit of confusion in his expression.

Professor Snape's performance like this anyway made Harry Potter somewhat baffled.

"What trick is the Old Bat playing?"

"Could this be a special way to make things difficult for me?"

Harry Potter didn't understand why, and throughout Hogwarts, perhaps only Headmaster Dumbledore and Levi understood Professor Snape's confusion and hesitation at this moment.

But neither Headmaster Dumbledore nor Levi could help Snape.

Levi didn't even know that Headmaster Dumbledorealready had a premonition that on the path of finding and destroying Horcruxes, he would march towards death.

He still thought that by stopping Headmaster Dumbledorefrom touching Marvolo Gaunt's ring and preventing him from being afflicted with a fatal Curse, he could avoid the ending where Headmaster Dumbledore died prematurely.

After the final exams, Hogwarts ushered in the most relaxed week of the entire school year!

As early as the Easter holiday, the Weasley Twins inside the school, along with Boss Tom outside the school, Mr. Sanchez, and Valentin, began planning the matters of the second Hero King Championship.

The second version of the hero king game console had a networking function, making the scope involved in the auditions for the second season of the Hero King Championship even broader.

Boss Tom, relying on the connections of the Leaky Cauldron, was responsible for the auditions of players in Commonwealth countries.

Mr. Sanchez was mainly responsible for players in Southern and Western Europe represented by France and Germany.

What Valentin was responsible for was even simpler; he was mainly responsible for the audition matters of players from the countries that split off after the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

Every partner of Levi was responsible for a distribution area, which could be said to cover the vast majority of countries and regions in this world.

"The only pity is that my hometown and those countries in the East Asian region didn't have players coming to participate in the competition!"

Standing on the podium of the Great Hall, Levi looked at the contestants from all over the world, thinking with full of regret in his heart.

Regret was regret, but as the organizer of the competition and the provider of the prizes, Levi still smiled and stepped forward, starting to host the competition:

"Welcome friends from all over the world, as well as the students and parents of Hogwarts, for taking time out of your busy schedules to participate in the Second Hero King Game Championship!"

"This competition is still sponsored wholeheartedly by the Hero King Game Company, with myself as the host!

The Professors of our school serve as referees!

The Chairman of the International Confederation of Wizards, Headmaster Albus Dumbledore;

The Head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports, Mr. Ludo Bagman;

And the former Head of House of Slytherin, legendary Potion master, Master Horace Slughorn.

Serving as the competition judges! Everyone, round of applause to welcome them!"

Every time Levi introduced a judge, a well-known figure in the wizarding world stood up, nodding to the audience, drawing waves of applause.

After introducing the host, referees, and judges, Leviimmediately announced that they would be grouped by the four houses to compete for the top sixteen!

The competition officially began. The matches between the defending players and the challenger players were brilliant and colorful. Under the manipulation of the contestants, various cool-looking hero projections unleashed gorgeous moves one after another, catching everyone's eyes!

The duel between the contestants was extremely lively, and the audience watched intently without blinking, cheering loudly!

But Levi's attention was not on the match, but on the two unfamiliar visitors who came to serve as judges.

Ludo Bagman was the Head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports of the Ministry of Magic. He was witty and humorous, proficient in the rules of various events, and used to be a player of the British Quidditch team.

But this fellow was frivolous, sloppy, and a gambling addict—a well-known gambler!

In the original work, when the Quidditch World Cup was held, he even secretly ran a gambling ring, resulting in an upset in the match, owing the Fairies a large sum of Galleons, and finally running away and disappearing.

Levi couldn't help muttering inwardly that it didn't really matter to recruit this fellow to serve as a judge.

However, he wouldn't secretly gamble on this Hero King event, would he?!

There was also the Potion Master Slughorn. In the original work, it was he who unintentionally told the information about the Horcrux to the young Voldemort.

Slughorn lived with lifelong regret because of this, always living in the panic of possibly being hunted down by Voldemort, but he also bravely stood up during the Battle of Hogwarts, bravely resisting Voldemort and Death Eaters.

Slughorn had once served as a Professor of Potions Classat Hogwarts and was also the Head of House of Slytherin.

This person of his was simply a typical example of a certain type of teacher, showing extraordinary partiality to geniuses with outstanding academic performance and excellent performance!

As for those ordinary students with mediocre talent and unremarkable performance, he often adopted an attitude of ignoring them.

Sometimes, his partiality was way, way too obvious, and even Professor McGonagall had objections.

The Slug Club he hosted during his school days regularly held high-end social gatherings, bringing all kinds of geniuses together in one hall.

And he himself did not do this to gain any benefits or maintain any networking relationships to utilize in the future.

This Professor Slughorn simply enjoyed it very much when the geniuses he cultivated, after growing up, fed back a little convenience to him, giving him special prestige in front of others!

Regarding this, Levi could only say that this was simply a typical Slytherin-style aristocratic vanity!

Just like now, this Master Slughorn similarly paid little attention to the match, but instead looked at Levi with burning eyes, as if examining some rare treasure!

Chapter 338: Slughorn

"Master Slughorn, you keep looking at me. Is there something wrong?"

Levi felt his scalp go numb under Slughorn's gaze, feeling entirely uncomfortable, and couldn't help but wonder to himself:

Could this guy have spent too much time with Headmaster Dumbledore and turned into an old queer too?!

Fortunately, Levi was quite adept at Occlumency; otherwise, if Headmaster Dumbledore and Master Slughorn overheard his inner thoughts, he would surely suffer a one-sided beatdown from two centenarians!

"It's nothing, nothing at all," Master Slughorn said, looking at Levi with a smile full of admiration. He even couldn't help saying to Headmaster Dumbledore:

"Albus, if I had known this earlier, I would have delayed my retirement!

I never expected that after I retired, such an outstanding young wizard like Mr. Levi Keynes would appear in the school!"

"It is truly gratifying, yet deeply regrettable!

I'm afraid I won't have the opportunity to teach a young wizard as remarkable as Levi anymore!"

"If only I were still teaching at the school. For a child as exceptional as you, Levi, I would definitely invite you to join my Slug Club!

You would certainly love it there!"

Horace Slughorn spoke with great regret, leaving one to wonder if he might ask Dumbledore to return to Hogwartsto teach again.

After all, the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts class Professor had an opening every single year!

"Actually, it's not too late now, Horace," Headmaster Dumbledore said, seemingly intentionally trying to foster a connection between Levi and Slughorn as he took the initiative to bridge the gap:

"Young Levi here has been researching Potions these days and seems to have hit a bit of a bottleneck!"

"Horace, as you know, I know nothing about Potions!"

"And Severus is busy with his teaching duties, leaving him no time for one-on-one guidance with Levi!"

"You happen to have free time and admire the boy. Why not give him some guidance? He happens to be lacking the direction of a master like you."

Hearing this, both Levi and Slughorn were stunned for a moment. They looked at each other and instantly thought Headmaster Dumbledore's idea was quite good.

"My boy, what do you think? You might not know, but I used to be Hogwarts's Potions Class Professor and have quite a bit of experience in brewing Potions!"

Slughorn said, feeling very tempted.

This kind of one-on-one instruction suited his taste perfectly—it created an even closer relationship than standard classroom teaching, and he was more than willing to guide a genius like Levi.

"Of course I'm willing! Master Slughorn, I know of you! You are a famous Potion Master in the wizarding world!

Getting your guidance is more than I could ever ask for! I'll be relying on your trouble from now on!"

Levi naturally wouldn't decline. His Potion talent was indeed unmatched, but without proper guidance, attempting to brew unprecedented Potions would still mean taking several detours.

Besides, it was impossible for him to ask Professor Snape, who always carried a somber, lifeless demeanor; Master Slughorn's appearance fit his desires perfectly.

He merely speculated in his heart about Headmaster Dumbledore's motive for bringing them together.

Could it be that he wanted him to get closer to Slughorn to secretly inquire about Voldemort's Horcruxes, just like Harry Potter did in the original story?

But the matter regarding Horcruxes was already mostly handled; once Slytherin's Locket and Hufflepuff's Cupwere retrieved, wouldn't it be pretty much resolved?

Levi felt puzzled in his heart, but being able to establish a good mentor-student relationship with the well-connected Master Slughorn and learn more Potion knowledge was completely beneficial and effortless for him, so he would definitely not refuse.

On the other side, Ludo Bagman, one of the judges, seeing Levi chatting and laughing warmly with the other two judges, couldn't help but saunter over.

"Mr. Keins, this hero king game console you invented is truly a magnificent invention!"

Ludo Bagman used honorifics right from the start, making it hard for Levi to give him a cold shoulder.

It wasn't surprising Levi felt this way; the man's reputation in the original story was abysmal, and Levi seriously suspected this Head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports wanted to use his championship to run betting pools and gambling.

"You flatter me too much. My invention was just a whim on an impulse. The Hero King Game Championship still relies heavily on the Ministry of Magic's support!"

Levi spoke in a mild tone, responding with polite official jargon.

"You are far too humble; this is no ordinary invention!

In my view, the hero king game console has completely transformed the entire Wizarding World.

Especially the online multiplayer, voice call, and video call features—it's practically like a net connecting the entire Wizarding World together..."

Ludo Bagman showered Levi with endless praise.

Levi didn't take it to heart; after all, he was a Transmigratorwho had witnessed the brilliance brought by smartphones and the Internet.

In his eyes, the current hero king game console was nowhere near advanced; its hardware design and features were still quite primitive.

If he could harness magic to construct a virtual network space through the hero king game console and create a metaverse suitable for mental roaming, only then would it count as a true invention!

On the contrary, Headmaster Dumbledore and Master Slughorn listened with great interest, voicing their agreement repeatedly.

Having lived for over a hundred years, they naturally knew that over the past century, the wizarding world had been like a pool of stagnant water with virtually no changes.

The biggest change was the hero game console Leviinvented. It really acted like an invisible net connecting the small, scattered population of Wizards across the country, bringing a revolutionary change to the Wizarding World!

"I wonder, Levi, if you're interested in hosting the Hero King Game Championship on a more formal and larger scale?

As the Head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports, I can represent the Ministry of Magic to partner with you!"

After saying so many flattering words, Ludo Bagmanfinally revealed his true intentions and laid out his goal.

He wanted to turn the Hero King Game Championship into an official tournament. That way, he could not only profit from hosting the event,

but also secretly set up betting pools, manipulate match outcomes in his official capacity, and make another huge fortune off gambling.

Talk about revealing the dagger right away!

Although Levi was somewhat intrigued by Ludo Bagman's proposal, he didn't trust this Head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports.

Thus, Levi politely declined, saying:

"The Hero King Game Championship has only been held twice so far. I can't guarantee its future prospects, as it isn't a long-standing magical sport like Quidditch."

"Besides, the tournament is currently hosted by the company using Hogwarts' grounds, which I think is working out very well!"

"The hero king game is, after all, meant for young wizardchildren like us. If too many adult elements get involved, it would lose the pure joy of the game itself!"

High-sounding rhetoric was something anyone could spin; with just a few words, Levi brushed Ludo Bagman off, leaving him to sit back down in sulky disappointment.

Chapter 339: Company Concept

With a few simple words, he brushed Ludo Bagman off.

Levi then chatted with Master Slughorn about Potions.

Master Slughorn truly lived up to his title as a Potions Master, offering Levi plenty of ideas and inspiration for brewing Potions.

"Perhaps the next time I brew them, the two Potions that enhance vitality and soul power will be successful!"

With Slughorn's advice and guidance, Levi was basically confident in successfully brewing the Potions.

Building on his success with Aragog, combined with Master Slughorn's suggestions, his confidence in succeeding was even stronger!

"However, after brewing the Potions successfully, I still need to test them on Dark Wizards for clinical trials."

"Hmm, another valuable test subject will have to be sacrificed for this!"

"Even if they don't die, if the experiment succeeds, feeding such precious, rare Potions to Dark Wizards feels like a sin!"

Even though Levi felt confident of success, he didn't dare act rashly.

Although feeding such valuable vitality and soul Potions to Dark Wizards felt sinful...

...in order to ensure the safety of the Potions, this small price was entirely worth paying!

What's more, once the vitality Potion and soul Potion were developed, he could take them himself to enhance his own vitality and soul power.

Especially soul power—with the blessings of various feats and his two classes, Levi didn't lack vitality or magic power at all.

But soul power could only grow slowly over time under the baptism of magic power.

Even after changing class to Arcanist, his soul power growth could only rely on Spell Templates to refine magicpower and nourish his soul's growth.

Only when his soul power grew could he bear higher-circle Spell Templates and achieve breakthroughs in his Arcanistclass level.

It could be said that aside from Academic Credits, the only thing holding Levi back from breaking through in power was his slowly growing soul power.

While Levi was discussing the brewing of the new Potionwith Master Slughorn, the King of Heroes Tournament over on the other side was in full swing!

The top sixteen, grouped by the Four Houses, quickly emerged through king-of-the-hill style battles!

Looking around, among these sixteen competitors were young wizards from the Four Houses, such as Ron, Draco Malfoy, Cedric Diggory, Cho Chang, the Weasley Twins, and others.

There were outstanding Wizards from Britain in the original timeline, like Nymphadora Tonks and Sirius Black.

There were also players from other countries around the world, such as Fleur Delacour from Beauxbatons in France, as well as Wizards from Durmstrang, Ilvermorny, and Uagadou...

Though Levi didn't know many of them, hearing them speak various languages and seeing them dressed in distinctive clothes as they gathered in Hogwarts' Great Hall...

...Levi suddenly realized that the scale of the King of Heroes Tournament had grown so massive!

Held in Hogwarts Castle's Great Hall, the tournament was getting so crowded that it would be tight without casting Undetectable Extension Charms!

Perhaps he really should consider Ludo Bagman's suggestion to make the King of Heroes Tournament more official.

However, Levi still wouldn't consider Ludo Bagman, that gambler, for organizing the tournament; he didn't want the competition's reputation to be ruined.

After announcing that the top sixteen would be paired up randomly by drawing lots, Levi called over Graves Sanchezand the other two distribution partners.

He explained his thoughts to the three partners about making the third King of Heroes Tournament even larger in scale and more formal as an event.

"Spot on, Levi! Your idea is absolutely right!"

The first to express agreement was Mr. Graves Sanchez, who said with great excitement and enthusiasm:

"Holding the tournament at Hogwarts is nice, and Headmaster Albus Dumbledore is supportive, but after all, this is a place for you young wizards to study."

Hearing this, Levi gave Graves Sanchez a deep look. He seemed to recall that this gentleman from France held a bit of a grudge against Headmaster Dumbledore.

"It's really not good for our Hero King Game Company to intrude too much!"

"If we had professional venues—say, an office building and a dedicated tournament arena—then our Hero King Game Company would officially establish its status across the entire wizarding world!"

"Our company has already made a lot of money, and the three of us have made a fortune following you. When it comes to building the company headquarters and the arena, all three of us can chip in funds. Combined with your investment, Levi, constructing the whole company headquarters and arena will be no problem at all!"

"We could even bring Randolph's Black Forest Alchemy Workshop into this to form a conglomerate, establish our own conglomerate's Quidditch team, and combine Quidditch with the King of Heroes Tournament..."

Mr. Graves Sanchez had clearly been reading quite a few business books lately, elaborating fluently based on Levi's future vision.

Boss Tom of the Leaky Cauldron and Valentin, the other two partners, thoroughly agreed as well.

In truth, although Graves Sanchez's future business vision was appealing...

...the one who truly commanded their conviction was Levi—Levi the Master Alchemist, the great inventor!

With Levi's endless stream of inventions—especially the hero king game console, a golden goose that was constantly upgraded and taking the entire wizarding worldby storm—everyone knew the Hero King Game Companyhad a grand future ahead!

This was precisely why Levi wasn't worried at all about being side-lined by his partners. They were merely distributors; he could replace them whenever he wished.

In the wizarding world, as long as one was powerful enough and kept the core technology in hand, one could start anew at any time and build another company that would appear grand in the eyes of the world!

"Alright," Levi agreed decisively, assigning tasks:

"Then establishing the company headquarters and constructing the tournament venue will be left to you three: Mr. Sanchez, Boss Tom, and Mr. Valentin!"

"Don't worry about construction expenses or operational funds. I will transfer a batch of Galleons from Gringottsand deliver them to you three!"

With the big boss Levi speaking, Valentin and the other two distributors gladly took on their tasks, delighted at the company's growth and expansion.

As for colluding to embezzle Galleons, that was out of the question; their financial transactions with Levi were completely simple and transparent, leaving no room for embezzlement.

Moreover, this was the fairy-tale world of Harry Pottermagic, not a cutthroat business or political realm. The three of them weren't so black-hearted as to screw over the business partner who brought them wealth and glory.

Swindling money from a young wizard was simply too shameful; even thinking about it felt like a crime to them!

Having finished discussing the expansion of the company's scale, Levi glanced over at the contestants and suddenly asked Mr. Graves Sanchez:

"Mr. Sanchez, do you know anything about Miss Fleur Delacour from Beauxbatons in France?"
