Chapter Forty-six: Collecting Dementors! The Heart Of The Chaos Demon God!

Cassandra was ultimately a kind-hearted girl. She didn't make things difficult for Sylvanas, and unusually, she didn't blame Li Kai for having such a beautiful servant.

For Li Kai, this is definitely a very good sign.

Perhaps the day when Cassandra completely compromises is not far off.

In the days that followed, Li Kai pursued his love affair with Cassandra while teaching her various alchemy and potion-making skills.

Under these circumstances, Cassandra's alchemy and potion-making skills naturally improved as well.

However, Li Kai's research progress was delayed as a result, but fortunately Dumbledore and Snape would occasionally come over to take over the research work.

And so, time passed day by day, and the start of the third academic year drew ever closer.

On the last day of August, Li Kai and Cassandra bid farewell to Nicolas Flamel and his wife and returned to their estate, Voré.

They stayed overnight at the Worley Estate, where Li Kai had a deep discussion with Mrs. Worley late into the night, lasting more than two hours, about the upcoming development plans.

Finally, Mrs. Worley was so exhausted that she could no longer walk, and only then did they end this discussion, which was destined to have no result.

Why was this discussion destined to be fruitless?

Because Li Kai's proposed plan was so absurd, Mrs. Worley, with her righteous indignation, argued logically and persuasively, and ultimately convinced Li Kai to abandon the ridiculous plan.

However, Mrs. Worley paid a heavy price, because she talked incessantly to persuade Li Kai, expending so much energy that she was almost exhausted by the end of the discussion.

The next morning, Mrs. Worley, despite her exhaustion, took Li Kai and Cassandra to King's Cross Station.

"Kyle, remember to write to me." Mrs. Worley looked at Li Kai meaningfully (with affection?) and said, "You can go to Hogsmeade this year. If there's anything important, we can meet there."

Li Kai immediately understood what Mrs. Worley meant—it was discussing future development plans.

He was actually very unwilling to accept this; such a good plan should not have been overturned, and he wanted to try again.

"I'm looking forward to it, Madam," Li Kai said meaningfully. "Next time, I won't be so easily convinced."

"Is that so?" Mrs. Worley said gently, "I don't think so. Your plan is too radical, and the impact on me is too strong. I can't accept it all at once, so I must convince you no matter what. As you said, it's a deal worth hundreds of millions, and we must discuss it in depth! And once isn't enough; we must discuss it several times."

"Ah, yes, yes, that's a great idea." Li Kai exclaimed, "Several hundred million is just a conservative estimate. You might earn tens of billions. We really need to explore this further! I really like your Ruyi White Jade Ball. Remember to take good care of it and bring it with you. I'd like to play with it a lot more."

"As you wish, Kyle." Mrs. Worley's beautiful face flushed slightly; all your requests have been fulfilled.

Cassandra couldn't understand Mrs. Worley's coded language at all and thought they really had some important plan to discuss.

They waited for Hermione and her family at the entrance, and about half an hour before departure, Hermione and her family finally arrived.

Li Kai also saw Penelope, who was with Hermione.

The group quickly gathered together. Mrs. Worley looked Hermione and Penelope over, then glanced at Li Kai, seemingly realizing that these two girls were her daughter's rivals.

However, Mrs. Worley showed no hostility whatsoever, but greeted them with a smile, appearing very friendly.

This was Penelope's first time meeting Mrs. Worley, and the two exchanged only a few words.

The two families saw the four students off on the train and then said their reluctant goodbyes.

"Penelope, didn't your family come to see you off?" Li Kai asked curiously.

"They're old and not in good health," Penelope said helplessly. "I don't want them to be too overworked, and I think I'm all grown up now. There's no need for them to come and see me off. You know, I'm sixteen years old, and I'm a wizard, not some weak Muggle little girl."

Last school year, Li Kai talked a lot with Penelope and learned that although the girl's family was well-off, her parents were in poor health and were quite old, so they were not suitable for a busy and tiring life.

"Let's find a seat and talk," Li Kai said with a smile.

The four quickly found their seats. Penelope, now a Ravenclaw prefect, could go to the prefect's car.

But she and Li Kai hadn't seen each other for a long time, so she decided to stay with them.

After the group sat down, Li Kai took out some snacks and chatted with the three girls while waiting for the train to depart.

In fact, Li Kai could have Apparated to Hogsmeade Village, which would have been closer to Hogwarts. The reason he chose to take the train was to spend more time with the girl.

He took out gifts he had prepared beforehand from his storage equipment and gave them to Hermione and Penelope.

They were two exquisitely crafted little figurine pendants, made of magic gold and mithril, which Li Kai had put a lot of effort into creating.

Hermione's pendant is a statue of her and Li Kai embracing each other, their heads touching. The two little figures are dressed in wizard robes, as if they are whispering to each other, and they look very lifelike.

Penelope's pendant features a sculpture of Li Kai and her dancing with their arms around each other's waists, both dressed in evening gowns, gracefully dancing on a stage.

The pendant's chain is platinum gold, while the figurine is silver-white.

The pendant's appearance is not fixed; it is enchanted and can change its posture at any time, depending on the owner's thoughts, but the clothing worn on it will not change.

Actually, at the very beginning, the two pendant figurines were holding hands, but the moment they were taken out, they automatically captured Hermione and Penelope's thoughts and then changed into their current form.

"These two pendants can sense your thoughts. If you encounter danger, you can contact me through the pendants, and I will appear by your side immediately." Li Kai briefly introduced the functions of the pendants. He had made quite a few of these pendants, and Mrs. Worley also had one.

"Kyle! Did you make this?" Hermione exclaimed in surprise. "This pendant looks very valuable. Is it made of platinum?"

She loved the pendant in her hand so much that she immediately put it around her neck.

"The statue can move!" Penelope exclaimed in amazement. "What amazing magic! I love this gift! By the way, didn't you prepare one for Cassandra?"

She was so fond of the pendant that she kept rubbing it in her hands.

"She has one too, Cassandra. Show it to them." Li Kai squeezed Cassandra's little hand. "Don't be so stingy. Everyone has one anyway."

Cassandra reluctantly pulled a pendant from her clothes; it was a statue of her and Li Kai, the two little figures currently kissing intimately.

Seeing this, both Hermione and Penelope looked at Cassandra with strange expressions.

Cassandra blushed, quickly stuffed the pendant into her clothes, and turned to look out the window, embarrassed.

Penelope also hung the pendant around her neck and tucked it inside her clothes. Looking at Li Kai with deep affection, she said, "No one at Hogwarts is more talented than you. This gift is truly the most precious treasure in the world! Thank you, Kai!"

Hermione smiled and said, "Kyle, you're so kind!"

Li Kai winked at the two girls, then deliberately said to Cassandra beside him, "Cassandra, see? Hermione and Penelope are both praising me, aren't you going to say anything?"

"Hmph! Aren't Hermione and Penelope's praise enough for you?" Cassandra said, tilting her head back. "I'm afraid you'll become too proud—oh no, you're already very proud! I'm worried you'll get too arrogant!"

It's clear that Cassandra has gradually accepted Hermione and Penelope; they're at least not as distant as they were last semester.

As we chatted, the train finally departed.

We won't arrive at Hogwarts until around nightfall; the journey is just too long.

Li Kai took out a chessboard and taught the three girls a brand new game.

This is a game created by Li Kai, similar to Four Kingdoms Chess, except that the names of the pieces have been changed to various positions in the Ministry of Magic.

The commander was changed to a minister, the two army commanders to deputy ministers, the two division commanders to directors, the two brigade commanders to directors, the two regimental commanders to deputy directors, the two battalion commanders to supervisors, the three company commanders to group leaders, the three platoon leaders to Aurors, the three engineers to wisps, the two bombs to magic bombs, the three mines to magic traps, the five military camps to safe houses, the lane tracks to Floonets, and most importantly, the flag to headquarters.

After Li Kai explained the rules, the four of them started playing.

This game involves two teams of two, facing each other directly opposite their allies. Players need to cover and cooperate with each other to fight the enemy.

The chess pieces are all enchanted, and no one but yourself can see their specific positions.

If a piece captures an enemy piece, and that piece is of a lower rank than the opponent's, it will be directly transferred to the box [meaning that the piece has been eliminated by the opponent].

If two pieces have the same rank, they will disappear simultaneously, which is equivalent to mutual destruction.

If your piece has a higher rank than the opponent's piece, you can capture the opponent's piece.

Magical items will destroy any class upon collision, except for sprites; any class that collidees with a magical trap will be eliminated.

Magic traps are fixed at the start and cannot be moved, while wisps can eliminate magic traps.

The headquarters has two fixed landing points, located at the rear of each faction's defenses, forming the last line of defense protecting the headquarters.

Therefore, the core gameplay of this game is to use your magic bombs to eliminate the enemy's high-end combat forces, and then use your own high-end combat forces to eliminate the enemy's remaining forces.

The requirements for victory are simple: either kill the enemy until they have no survivors, or directly capture the enemy headquarters.

(For details, please refer to the Ball Game Four Kingdoms Chess, it's quite fun, and those who are interested can give it a try.)

Li Kai knows how to play this game, but his skill level isn't very high, and the three girls are complete beginners.

I made quite a few jokes while playing the game.

Li Kai once deliberately used his minister's magic bomb to bump into Hermione's magic bomb, and as a result, he was ridiculed by the three girls for several rounds.

Li Kai was somewhat frustrated. He hadn't cheated; hitting a bomb without seeing his opponent's cards was simply a misjudgment and bad luck. Was it really worth mocking him for so long?

Later in the game, Cassandra also had a moment when she recklessly used the minister to run into a magic trap.

......

"This game is pretty good, but it's a bit too demanding!" Penelope said with a laugh. "It's giving me a headache!"

Li Kai said meaningfully, "The wizarding society may be in great chaos in the next few years. This game can slightly improve your strategic and tactical vision. It's not only for entertainment, but also somewhat useful."

"Tsk tsk!" Cassandra said mockingly, "Are you planning to attack some Ministry of Magic?"

Li Kai remained noncommittal, but said it wasn't out of the question if necessary, as he knew that the magic ministries of various countries definitely had good stuff.

How could a collector not covet those treasures?

But if it can be obtained through peaceful means

Li Kai didn't want to make a big fuss about those collectibles.

After playing for a while, the group got tired and put away the chessboard to rest.

The train, having traveled to an unknown location, suddenly experienced a violent jolt, then began to slow down, and finally came to a complete stop.

It started to get windy and rainy outside the window sometime during the day. The wind was strong, the rain was heavy, and the air had cooled down by several degrees.

The breath they exhaled turned into white mist; the weather couldn't possibly be that cold in September.

"Something's not right," Hermione said worriedly. "Something must have happened."

The lights on the train suddenly went out, and the entire carriage went dark.

This should be a tunnel; the Hogwarts Express traverses many mountains and lakes, and there are many tunnels along the way.

Gradually, the carriage became somewhat chaotic, and many people tripped and fell in the corridor.

With a thought, a large sphere of light appeared on the table in front of Li Kai, illuminating the surrounding area as bright as day.

"What happened? It looks like someone got on the bus?" Penelope looked a little scared. She was in sixth grade and had never experienced anything like this in the past five years.

0.....

"Don't worry, we're safe," Li Kai said with a smile. "Something fun is probably coming; he's already taken out the Book of Sealing."

"Do you know something?" Cassandra looked at Li Kai and asked expectantly, "You must know, I know you too well!"

She admires Li Kai's composure and complete control, because it gives her an unparalleled sense of security.

As it turns out, as long as Li Kai keeps smiling, nothing else matters.

"Yes, of course I know," Li Kai said lazily. "You should already know about Sirius's prison break."

"Of course, this matter has caused quite a stir. Anyone who pays even a little attention to the outside world wouldn't be unaware of it." Hermione said seriously, "Do you think today's incident is related to the small..."

Is it related to Sirius?

"I understand!" Cassandra exclaimed, "It must be the Ministry of Magic. They're searching the train to prevent Sirius from sneaking into Hogwarts. Everyone thinks Sirius..."

Wolf Stark's escape from prison was to assassinate Harry Potter, and the Ministry of Magic must do everything in its power to prevent it.

Li Kai nodded slightly: "You're right, but it wasn't the Ministry of Magic that came, or at least not all of them."

Penelope hurriedly asked, "Who else could it be?"

"And the guards of Azkaban, you all know what that is, right?" Li Kai hinted.

The three women exclaimed in unison, "Dementors!"

As soon as they finished speaking, the sliding door of the private room opened.

A withered, grayish-white hand, resembling a chicken claw, gripped the door frame and slowly pushed the sliding door to one side, revealing the figure of the person who opened the door.

This hand looked like a rotten skeleton, covered in slime and spots, and anyone who saw it would feel nauseous.

He was tall and large, almost touching the top of the carriage, his face completely shrouded in a dark hood.

In reality, this creature is not human at all; it has no facial features, and its face only has something that barely resembles a mouth.

Those who see it seem to lose all their joy in an instant.

The three girls suddenly turned very pale. Li Kai was not affected, but he unconsciously recalled the scene of his death in his previous life.

However, those images were fleeting and did not instill any fear in him.

He had already begun chanting the incantation, and the purple demonic mist swirled around the Dementor, which roared in terror, trying to break free from the tentacle-like mist.

But those demonic tentacles were like chains of divine punishment, and no matter how hard it struggled, it could not break free.

It gripped the door frame with both hands, resisting with all its might, but was still slowly pulled into the Book of Seals, bit by bit, until it was completely transformed into a portrait.

[Congratulations, host, you have obtained the legendary collectible "Dementor," and have been rewarded with "Heart of Chaos" +1.]

Heart of the Chaos Demon God: The source of power for the Chaos Demon God. Those who possess the Heart of the Chaos Demon God can infinitely extract the emotions of all living beings and transform them into chaotic magic power.

(Note: The Chaos Demon God's Heart is an optimized product of the Primal Demon God's Heart; the Primal Demon God's Heart can forcibly convert the life energy of a target being into negative emotions, and can only absorb...)

The dark magic that transforms negative emotions cannot eliminate their impact on the user; the Heart of the Chaos Demon God loses its ability to forcibly transform emotions, but can passively absorb all emotions.

And transform it into chaotic magic.

Chapter Forty-seven: Beginning The Path To Godhood

Along with information about the Heart of the Chaos Demon God, some common knowledge about gods also appeared in Li Kai's mind.

In this system, deities are divided into four categories.

The first category of deities consists of supreme deities born of heaven and earth.

Pangu, Titans, and God, who were born from chaos, are all naturally born gods and their direct descendants, and they all belong to the supreme gods.

The supreme deities have an extremely close connection with the world they inhabit; one could even say that they are a part of that world.

They are not only physically powerful, but also born with control over countless natural laws.

The second type of deity is a dedicated deity chosen by the laws.

Eastern deities like the Old Man Under the Moon, the God of Wealth, and the God of Thunder, and Western deities like the Goddess of Fate, the Goddess of War, and the Sun God, all have their own divine duties and are considered professional deities.

Ordinary beings can ascend to godhood by cultivating, competing for, or inheriting certain laws and seizing corresponding divine positions.

Even if a dedicated deity dies, it will not have a serious impact on the world. Under normal circumstances, a successor will appear soon after a dedicated deity falls.

If there is no successor, it means that divine authority will dissipate, the relevant laws will return to the natural order, and there will be no one left to control them.

The third category of deities consists of elemental deities that are born naturally or cultivated later in life.

Gods of fire, water, wind, and earth, and all other deities who condense the heart of the elements and can control a particular element at will, belong to the category of elemental deities.

The fourth type of deity is a deity that survives by absorbing the wishes and spiritual power of all living beings.

These deities are further divided into three types: righteous gods, demon gods, and evil gods.

Good gods absorb the power of positive faith, demon gods absorb the power of negative faith, and gods in chaos absorb the power of faith.

The most prominent characteristic of those who worship deities is their close connection with believers. The more believers a deity has, the stronger its power becomes, but they are also susceptible to backlash from their faith.

Not all worlds have gods. Some worlds are at a lower level, where all laws operate naturally and gods do not arise.

Although gods are divided into four categories, in reality, the classification of gods in most worlds is not obvious.

Because each category is equivalent to a cultivation path, and different cultivation paths can be compatible.

The supreme deity can also acquire a divine office to become a full-time deity, or absorb the primal power of all living beings to become a deity of faith.

Professional deities can also condense the heart of the elements to become elemental deities, or absorb the will of all living beings to become deities of faith.

Those who believe in deities can also condense the heart of elements to become elemental deities, or create the world to become supreme deities.

The Chaos Demon God Heart that Li Kai just obtained is a kind of divine status based on faith in a deity.

Here, "chaotic demon god" does not refer to the chaotic demon god in prehistoric novels, but rather to a concept combining the two terms.

Chaos refers to the harmony of yin and yang, and the mixture of positive and negative; the demon god is the demon god in the gods of belief.

In summary, a Chaos God is a god who can absorb both positive and negative faith power.

The Chaos Demon God looks similar to the Evil God, but the Evil God is a deity who indiscriminately absorbs the power of faith and goes mad from it.

The Chaos God, however, will not go mad from indiscriminately absorbing the power of faith.

The fundamental difference between the Chaos Demon God and other deities lies in the efficiency with which divine status is converted into faith.

When people generally believe in deities, their divine nature cannot eliminate the influence of faith on the believer's mind when it transforms faith into divine or magical power.

Therefore, while enjoying the increased power brought about by their faith and vows, they must also shoulder the responsibility to believers.

If things are not done properly, the number of believers may decrease, and divine power may stagnate or gradually weaken.

In this respect, demons have it much easier than righteous gods.

Because the demon god only collects negative faith power, as long as believers have emotions such as desire, fear, greed, and anger, the demon god can increase its power.

In mythology, the most famous demons are the Seven Lords of Hell and Solomon's Seventy-Two Pillars.

Not all demons are extremely powerful; some demons can be killed or sealed by mortals.

Because the strength of a deity is related to the number of believers, righteous gods can selectively develop their followers, while demon gods cannot.

Take Jesus for example. His followers founded the church and established doctrines, so all those who believe in those doctrines are His followers.

There are only so many positive beliefs among mortals in the world, but there are quite a few gods who divide up those beliefs.

Focusing solely on this one piece of cake is clearly not enough, so Jesus instructed his followers to create churches and develop a unique group of believers.

The same problem exists with demons and gods. There is only so much negative faith, and countless demons and gods share in that negative faith.

Compared to righteous gods, demons are not incapable of establishing sects; however, humans are creatures who crave stability, and most yearn for peace and prosperity. Only a small minority of evil individuals enjoy causing trouble.

Therefore, the church established by the demon god can only attract some bad elements at most.

Most of the demon god churches simply cannot develop; what they are fighting for are those negative beliefs that have no master in the world.

Some demons are powerful or deeply ingrained in people's minds, and thus attract more negative beliefs.

Some demons are weak or unknown, and therefore receive less negative faith.

This results in some demons, despite bearing the title of demon and possessing the divine status of a demon, having a strength that is not even comparable to some minor monsters.

Compared to righteous gods and demon gods, evil gods have an even harder time.

In the struggle for the power of faith in the world, evil gods have to contend with both righteous gods and demon gods. As a result, evil gods inevitably face suppression from both righteous gods and demon gods, so almost no evil gods can develop.

Normally, whenever chaos descends, both demons and gods become stronger.

In times of peace, righteous gods will have an absolute advantage, enough to overwhelm demon gods and evil gods.

As can be seen from the above, the relationship between the deity and the believer is actually a loan relationship, and the deity's divine nature is flawed.

The Chaos Demon God Heart that Li Kai has now obtained is flawless; he can absorb all faiths without restraint, without distinguishing between positive and negative ones.

Simply put, the power of faith is spiritual power, and the source of spiritual power lies in emotions.

If a person's divine nature is not perfect and their transformation is not thorough enough, they will be swayed by the emotions of their believers.

Therefore, righteous gods can only maintain their greatness and righteousness, while demon gods can only selectively absorb emotions that suit them.

The evil god absorbs everything regardless of emotions; it's no wonder he goes mad.

Take the Christian church as an example. They have created a perfect god, but there are always hypocritical parasites among the believers, and there are always people who use the name of the god to satisfy their own desires.

Over time, Jesus' reputation was tarnished, and He was no longer a pure God.

If the myth is true, and Jesus created the world, then He is a supreme deity, and the power of faith is something dispensable to Him.

If the myth is false, and Jesus is not a creator god, nor a professional deity or elemental deity, then the power of faith is indispensable to Him.

In short, Li Kai obtaining the Heart of the Chaos Demon God is equivalent to embarking on a perfect path of faith in the divine.

As long as he continues to live, he will eventually become a supreme demon god no weaker than the seven lords of hell.

After gaining a deeper understanding of the development path of the gods, Li Kai was extremely excited.

How could he possibly have imagined that simply collecting a small Dementor would grant him the key to godhood?

Now is not the time to absorb the Heart of the Chaos Demon God. Li Kai forcibly suppressed his excitement and put away the Book of Sealing.

The three girls looked at him strangely, and Penelope couldn't help but ask, "Kyle, did you kill that Dementor?"

"No, I just sealed him away. Oh, you didn't know I know sealing techniques," Li Kai said casually. "I'm a collector, I like collecting weird and wonderful things, so collecting a Dementor is perfectly reasonable, right?"

"Oh? Yes, that makes sense." Penelope said worriedly, "It's fine as long as you don't let him out while we're being intimate."

"How could I?" Li Kai said, hugging Cassandra. "How could I do something so foolish?"

Cassandra shifted her body, leaning against Li Kai's chest, and whispered, "Aren't you afraid they'll get angry if you hug me in front of them?"

Cassandra was clearly asserting her dominance by doing this; she was a smart girl who knew when to do what.

In this situation, if she shows strong resistance to Li Kai, it would be tantamount to personally signaling to Hermione and Penelope that they can confidently compete for Li Kai.

So even though she was very unhappy that Li Kai was seeing several women at the same time, she would try her best to cooperate with him in this situation.

"Of course not, you're the official girlfriend after all," Li Kai said with a smile. "They're all good girls, why would they be angry?"

Hermione and Penelope glared at Li Kai, clearly still somewhat angry.

Cassandra smiled smugly, her gaze towards Li Kai clearly mocking.

Li Kai didn't take it seriously and instead became even more audacious. He hugged Cassandra and kissed her hard on the lips.

Hermione and Penelope stared in disbelief. They exchanged a glance and saw intense envy, jealousy, and hatred in each other's eyes.

Several minutes passed before Ji Kai and Cassandra finally separated.

Cassandra's pretty face flushed red, like a ripe apple. How could she have imagined that Li Kai would be so bold as to do this in front of Hermione and Penelope?

Li Kai, still somewhat unsatisfied, noticed Hermione and Penelope looking at him with a hint of reproach and couldn't help but ask with a smile, "Want to try it? It feels really good!"

"Some other time!" Penelope said irritably. "You just kissed Cassandra, I don't want to indirectly kiss her."

"Me too," Hermione muttered softly, "At least wait until no one's around!"

After waiting for a long time, the train still didn't start.

Li Kai was getting impatient. At this rate, when would they ever get to Hogwarts?

He stood up and said to the three girls, "You wait here, I'll go ask what's going on."

"Should we wait a little longer?" Hermione said. "They'll handle it."

"Who's going to handle this?" Li Kai asked. "The Hogwarts Express conductor? If he could handle it, it wouldn't have dragged on until now. What problem has Ken gotten himself into?"

It has been a full half hour since the train stopped; if we delay any longer, the dinner will be postponed.

"We'll go with you," Cassandra said.

Li Kai did not refuse. He took the lead and walked out of the carriage, passing through one carriage after another along the corridor.

The three girls followed closely behind, never leaving their side.

They quickly walked to the front of the car and found that it had already passed through the tunnel, with faint light shining in through the windows.

Two Ministry of Magic members, the train conductor, and a simply dressed middle-aged man are arguing.

Percy and several prefects were watching the spectacle from the sidelines, unable to get a word in edgewise.

Li Kai immediately recognized the simply dressed middle-aged man as Remus John Lupin, the professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts for this academic year.

"Excuse me for bothering you, but I'd like to know why the train hasn't left yet?" Li Kai asked in a low voice as he approached several class leaders.

Percy looked serious.

The Ministry of Magic said, "The people from the Ministry of Magic brought Dementors to search the train. They suspected that Sirius Black might be on the train, but after the search, they found that one Dementor was missing."

Li Kai was slightly taken aback. He hadn't expected the train to be unable to start because he had captured a Dementor. Could such a monster really hold such a high status?

"Could it be that they believe Sirius Black attacked the Dementor?"

"No!" Percy said, "They've confirmed that Sirius isn't here, but the Dementor leader insists on finding the missing Dementor."

Li Kai was speechless. It seemed that the Ministry of Magic was still too lenient with Dementors.

He stepped forward and shouted, "Hey, you guys, I've caught that Dementor, so stop messing around!"

In an instant, all eyes were drawn to them.

A Ministry of Magic official asked, "Child, do you mean you captured a Dementor?"

"Yes, let's drive now, no need to look anymore," Li Kai said with a smile.

"Where is he?" the Ministry of Magic official asked. "Did you kill him?"

"I didn't kill him, I just hid him," Li Kai said frankly.

The Ministry of Magic official said sternly, "Child, you must release him. They work for the Ministry of Magic."

"He offended me and my friends, I won't let him out," Li Kai said calmly. "Hurry up and let them leave. The Hogwarts Express must depart as soon as possible, it's just a matter of time."

It's just a Dementor; there's no need to waste so much time. Minister Fudge and I are friends; I'll explain this to him for you. You don't need to worry about this affecting your promotion.

move."

The Ministry of Magic employee gave a sarcastic smile: "You know Minister Fudge? Can you tell me your name? Who are your parents?"

"Kael'thas Lee, I have no adults at home. I've said before, Minister Fudge and I are friends, not family." Lee was somewhat displeased with the attitude of this Ministry of Magic employee.

He was satisfied, but didn't blame him much, since the person didn't even know him.

"Oh! Child, you'd better prepare a draft before you lie next time," a Ministry of Magic employee sneered. "Minister Fudge is extremely busy; not everyone has the opportunity to befriend him. Sorry."

Even if you consider him a friend, I can't listen to you, because he might not consider you a friend either.

Cassandra approached Li Kai, and just as she was about to reveal her identity, Li Kai stopped her.

Because Li Kai could tell that this Ministry of Magic employee was just a hothead.

If it were someone who was well-versed in workplace rules, they wouldn't have shown any doubts when Li Kai said those words.

Since it's unclear whether Li Kai's words are true or false, it's best to take them seriously. Either way, it's a gamble, and if you win, you can gain the favor of a "big shot."

Even if you bet wrong, it doesn't matter; we can settle the score later.

The Ministry of Magic employee in front of her clearly didn't understand these things. Even if Cassandra invoked the name of the Worre family, it might not work, and might even cause her to lose face. Therefore...

It's better not to say anything at all.

Li Kai said in a deep voice, "It seems there's no point in negotiating. Since you can't handle those Dementors, why don't you let me give it a try?"

The Ministry of Magic employee sneered, "So what do you plan to do?"

With a thought, purple demonic mist rose around Li Kai, and without even opening the train door, he flew directly through the train carriage.

"Damn it!" The Ministry of Magic employee's face changed, and he immediately shouted, "Go out and check it out!"

Everyone quickly opened the car door and came outside, only to see Li Kai floating quietly in the rain, confronting dozens of Dementors in the air.

"I'm warning you, get out of here and let the train depart," Li Kai said coldly.

A Dementor of exceptionally large stature spoke in a hoarse voice, "Who are you? We will not leave until we find our missing kin!"

He clearly sensed Li Kai's power. He had seen many wizards, but he had never seen any wizard who could float in the air with his own power like Li Kai.

"Since you are so adamant, then we don't need to waste any more time." Having already wasted so much time, Li Kai didn't want to waste any more.

He took out the Book of Seals and cast the sealing spell once again.

Caught off guard, the Dementor leader was instantly grabbed by tentacles formed from purple demonic mist, and like the previous Dementor, was slowly pulled into the Book of Seals.

The other Dementors immediately became agitated and pounced on Li Kai.

Those below hadn't expected things to change so quickly, and hadn't had time to react until now.

Chapter Forty-eight: Slaughtering The Dementors! Dumbledore's Strong Support!

"Stop the Dementors immediately!" Professor Lupin shouted. "There are too many of them, and they're too far apart. The Patronus Charm is unlikely to work."

The two Ministry of Magic employees were at a loss. One of them said frantically, "No! The Dementor that just disappeared was the leader. Only he can communicate with us; the other Dementors don't have that ability."

The employee who initially spoke to Li Kai turned pale: "It's over! That kid's finished. Whose child is he anyway?"

The others also looked worried, almost all of them believing that Li Kai was doomed.

Only the three girls who were familiar with Li Kai were not too worried, since they knew that Li Kai had enough tricks up his sleeve to deal with this kind of situation.

In the sky, another system notification rang in my ears.

[Congratulations, host, you have obtained the epic collectible "Dementor". Reward: +1 "Mana" and +1 "Constitution".]

Li Kai's lips twitched. The quality of the collection had been downgraded, but the reward was still acceptable.

He pointed, and a dark red lightning bolt shot out instantly, tearing a Dementor to shreds.

The next instant, a giant white tiger guardian appeared out of thin air, and all the Dementors seemed to have encountered their natural enemy, and dared not advance any further.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Li Kai once again used the sealing technique to seal away four more Dementors.

[Congratulations, host, you have obtained the legendary collectible "Dementor," and the reward is "Talent: Immunity to Dementor's Kiss."]

[Congratulations, host, you have obtained the perfect-grade collectible "Dementor". Reward: "Perfect Dementor Nerve" +10.]

[Congratulations, host, you have obtained the rare collectible "Dementor". Reward: 1000 Galleons.]

[Congratulations, host, you have obtained the Fine-grade collectible "Dementor". Reward: 100 Galleons.]

Not bad, a legendary collectible can actually reward a talent, that's definitely a critical hit.

Despite losing six members of their race, the other Dementors showed no sign of retreating.

These monsters fear nothing except the Guardian Charm. They don't experience fear; even the Guardian Charm only makes them uncomfortable, causing them to instinctively flee.

With the rewards reduced to this extent, Li Kai no longer intended to seal them away.

He continuously cast the Death Finger, and streaks of red lightning shot out from his finger, each one capable of tearing a Dementor to shreds.

Lu Ping and the others were already dumbfounded, each of them looking as if they had seen God.

"Merlin's beard! He's slaughtering Dementors! How dare he slaughter Dementors? They're Azkaban's guards!"

"Kael'thas 25 Lee! This name will definitely be on the front page of tomorrow's Daily Prophet; he has committed a colossal error!"

"What kind of magic is that? It can even kill a Dementor so easily! This is definitely dark magic no less powerful than the Killing Curse!"

"Will he be imprisoned in Azkaban? The Ministry of Magic certainly won't let him off the hook!"

"His guardian spell is incredibly powerful!"

Below, in the first few carriages of the Hogwarts Express, exposed outside the tunnel, the young wizards peered out the windows, only able to vaguely make out what appeared to be a battle.

What exactly is going on outside?

"It looks like someone is fighting a Dementor? The battle seems intense!"

Who could be fighting the Dementors?

"I don't know, the rain is too heavy, I can't see clearly."

Several minutes passed before the battle finally ended.

Dozens of Dementors were slaughtered, and not a single survivor remained.

Li Kai landed at the train door, completely clean, without a single drop of rain. He calmly said to the train conductor, "We can depart now; we need to get to the banquet."

"Yes, we're leaving soon." The train conductor quickly replied, and then said to Lupin, Percy and the others, "Hurry up and get on the train, we're about to depart."

Everyone returned to their respective carriages, ignoring the two Ministry of Magic employees who were still standing there dumbfounded in the heavy rain, completely terrified.

Soon, the train started moving again.

Li Kai led the three girls back to the carriage. Seeing that their clothes were soaked, he used magic to dry them off.

Penelope exclaimed excitedly, "Kyle! I love you to death, you're so amazing!"

"I'm glad you said that," Li Kai smiled slightly, "but we can talk about this in private, and you can say it as many times as you want then."

"No!" Penelope said firmly, "I want everyone to know that I love you."

Li Kai felt a little cheesy. He had lived two lives and had never been confessed to like this before, praising magic!

He figured it out: Penelope was a typical woman who admired strength; the stronger he was, the more she liked him.

Hermione, however, was quite rational. She said worriedly, "Kyle, you killed more than sixty Dementors. Will the Ministry of Magic convict you for this? Although those things weren't wizards, they worked for the Ministry of Magic. Killing them is practically a slap in the face to the Ministry of Magic. Minister Giles will definitely not stand idly by."

Li Kai smiled slightly: "Don't worry, this world is ultimately about strength. Even if they want to convict me, they have to have the ability to make me submit to the law. Otherwise, they themselves will be in extreme danger."

"Hogwarts will probably expel you," Cassandra said irritably. "You're really something!"

"No, given my relationship with Dumbledore, no one can expel me," Li Kai said lazily. "If Dumbledore dares to expel me, I'll just openly become a dark wizard. The reason I haven't become the Dark Lord yet isn't because I don't want to, but simply because I'm still a student. Dumbledore knows very well that the reason I'm still following the rules is because I still care about my current status."

"If they destroy my student status, then nominally no one can interfere with any decisions I make. At that point, I can do whatever I want, and no one can control me. Therefore, Dumbledore would rather endure enormous pressure from the Ministry of Magic than expel me from Hogwarts. He won't put me on the opposite side, so you can rest assured."

The three women were speechless for a moment, but in their hearts, they admired Li Kai even more.

A thirteen-year-old boy has the Ministry of Magic and Dumbledore completely under his thumb—something an ordinary wizard could never achieve in his entire life.

Such an outstanding young man, handsome and rich, which girl wouldn't be smitten?

As Percy and the others returned to the carriage, the news of what had happened gradually spread.

By the time the train stopped at Hogsmeade Station, at least three carriages already knew about Li Kai's battle with the Dementors.

"First-year students, this way!" a familiar voice called out.

Needless to say, the person in charge of taking on new jobs every year is that big guy, Haig.

"Hi! Hagrid, how was your holiday?" Li Kai greeted Hagrid with a smile, accompanied by three girls.

"Hello, oh, I'm a bit busy right now, we'll talk later." Hagrid called out loudly, "First-year students, come here quickly, line up, don't crowd."

Harry and Ron also came over one after another, but they didn't have much of a chance to speak because there were too many people around, and they had to move forward with the flow of people. [Song managed to wave to Hailu.]

After the second grade, students can take the Thestrals to the castle. Li Kai had ridden in the Thestrals' carriage at the beginning of the previous school year, and he was even more familiar with the route this year.

The carriage drove toward two very imposing wrought iron gates, flanked by stone pillars topped with winged boar statues.

Two Dementors stood guard on either side of the two large doors, and their presence made the air temperature drop considerably.

Li Kai guessed that these were probably Dementors who had been sent to Hogwarts ahead of time, and not the same group of Dementors he had encountered on the way.

Finally, the carriage stopped at the castle gate.

The students got off the bus one by one, and Li Kai had just gotten off when he heard a mocking voice.

"Did you faint? Harry? Neville, is that true? You really fainted?" Draco propped himself up on Crabbe's tall, fat body with one hand, standing on one leg with the other leg crossed behind the other on tiptoe, in a relaxed and lazy state.

Although he had maintained a friendly relationship with the Gryffindor students over the past year, he had not forgotten that this was a disguise to infiltrate the enemy.

It can only be said that he had a relationship with Harry and others, but this relationship was not necessarily very deep. It certainly wouldn't qualify as a close friend, and it's not quite a close buddy relationship either.

To put it simply, their relationship is like that of children playing together in a village; they have conflicts with each other, but sometimes they also help each other.

Normally, if someone has an embarrassing moment, we'll make a few sarcastic remarks; if no one has an embarrassing moment, we'll fabricate one to make a few sarcastic remarks, just to have some fun.

Just like today, when Harry was knocked unconscious by the Dementors, Draco certainly wouldn't miss the chance to tease him.

"Shut up, Draco!" Harry said irritably. "What's it to you?"

"Draco! Do you want a fight?" Ron said with ill intent. "If you want a fight, I'm happy to oblige."

Draco scoffed, saying nonchalantly, "You'll have to beat up Goyle first. Oh, you fainted too? Ron, did that horrible old Dementor scare you too?"

Professor Lupin noticed the situation and asked gently, "Is there some trouble here?"

He clearly thought there was a conflict going on here.

Harry shook his head: "Professor, we were just joking around, it's nothing serious."

"Come on in, the banquet is about to begin," Professor Lu Ping said with a smile.

Li Kai watched them enter the castle and remarked with admiration, "Professor Lu Ping is truly approachable!"

They walked through the foyer toward the Great Hall, where Professor McGonagall, who was supposed to be guiding the first-year wizards, suddenly appeared.

"Lee! Potter! Granger! I need to see all three of you!" Professor McGonagall looked rather grim; he clearly already knew what had happened on the Hogwarts Express.

Harry and Hermione were both somewhat surprised, but Li Kai was mentally prepared for this.

Killing over sixty Dementors at once is an act that would be quite shocking even on an international scale, and the professors at Hogwarts couldn't possibly ignore it.

The three followed Professor McGonagall to her office, where she said to Harry and Hermione, "You don't need to be so nervous. The one who should be nervous is Kyle [you wouldn't be nervous at ten o'clock]."

She gestured for the three of them to sit down quickly before continuing, "Professor Lupin sent an owl ahead of time to inform us of what happened on the train. Potter, I heard you weren't feeling well on the train?"

Just then, they heard a soft knock on the door, and then the school doctor, Ms. Pomfrey, hurriedly walked in.

Seeing Harry blush, Li Kai knew the kid must feel incredibly embarrassed; out of all the students on the train, he was the only one who had been knocked unconscious by the Dementors.

While examining Harry, Madam Pomfrey kept complaining about the Dementors' unruly behavior.

"He won't be the first to faint. Those ghostly things are cold and damp; they'll have a more severe effect on those with fragile hearts—"

Harry couldn't take it anymore and interrupted, "I'm not fragile!"

While Madam Pomfrey was examining Harry, Professor McGonagall also approached Kael'thas, saying sternly, "Kael'thas! What happened to you this time?"

That's outrageous! You've killed over sixty Dementors! Fudge has already demanded that we take you to the Ministry of Magic for trial!"

"Professor McGonagall, what did Professor Dumbledore say?" Li Kai was indifferent to going to the Ministry of Magic for trial.

When I read the novels before, people always said that Azkaban was the fifth house of Hogwarts.

To be honest, Li Kai actually really wanted to go to Azkaban for further studies, or maybe he could just bring Azkaban into the Emerald Dream.

He was curious to know what good things would be rewarded for collecting Azkaban.

Given Azkaban's fame in this world, he should at least be considered a legendary collectible, right?

"My opinion is that you'd better go to the Ministry of Magic," Dumbledore's voice came from the doorway. "This matter isn't a huge deal, but it's not insignificant either; it might just make them think you're guilty."

.

Li Kai was somewhat surprised. He understood Dumbledore's meaning; the old man clearly intended to support him.

He thought about it carefully, and realized that in the original story, Dumbledore was very dissatisfied with the Ministry of Magic's decision to allow Dementors to be stationed at Hogwarts.

Dumbledore even had a quarrel with Fudge at this point, but he ultimately failed to change Fudge's mind.

"Professor Dumbledore, from what you're saying, it seems you believe Ping didn't do anything wrong?" Li Kai asked tentatively.

"Yes, I don't think you did anything wrong." Dumbledore smiled.

"Albus!" Professor McGonagall said disapprovingly, "You've spoiled him too much! Even if he's a reincarnated being, he still has to follow the rules. How can he act so recklessly?"

"No, Minerva," Dumbledore shook his head. "If I were in his shoes, I probably would have done the same. The Dementors are threatening our students; get them away from here."

Zikaban was a mistake from the start.

Professor McGonagall said angrily, "This is the Ministry of Magic's decision. We shouldn't interfere. We just need to protect the students. There's no need to have a direct conflict with the Ministry of Magic."

"Professor McGonagall, you still haven't grasped the crux of the problem." Li Kai sighed, "This matter doesn't seem as simple as it appears on the surface; Fudge's ambitions are growing ever larger."

He was using this incident to try and extend his power to Hogwarts.

Professor McGonagall was taken aback and couldn't help but look at Dumbledore.

Dumbledore nodded slightly, and Professor McGonagall immediately fell silent.

Li Kai looked at Dumbledore and asked with a smile, "Professor, if you decide to support me, it means breaking with Fudge. Have you thought it through?"

"Things haven't gotten that bad yet; this was just Fudge testing us." Dumbledore said nonchalantly, "If it were just me alone, I certainly wouldn't have done this."

Making appropriate compromises is fine; after all, I'm just an old man, and I can't make too many enemies while dealing with Voldemort. Luckily, you appeared, and you're with me...

By standing aside, I can focus on other things, so there's no need to indulge Fudge too much. '11

Li Kai suddenly realized that he finally understood why Dumbledore compromised in the original story. If he were in Dumbledore's position, he would definitely have made the same choice.

With Voldemort stirring up trouble and poised to return at any moment, failing to control the conflict with the Ministry of Magic could potentially push the Ministry to Voldemort's mercy.

side.

Despite its apparent democracy, the Ministry of Magic is actually controlled by certain pure-blood families.

Decades ago, a Muggle Minister of Magic named Nobi Ritchie resigned due to a mysterious illness, an event that was very likely orchestrated by a pure-blood family.

Fudge is neither strong nor capable; the reason he was able to become Minister of Magic is because he has many pure-blood wizards supporting him.

He represents interests, and the greatest interests come from power. If Dumbledore threatens the rule of those pure-blood families, then they are very likely to overthrow Voldemort.

Humans are strange like this; unless forced to, bad people would rather submit to someone even worse than to a good person.

This is the fundamental reason why Voldemort was able to raise such a large army each time he instigated the Wizarding Wars.

Therefore, in the original story, Dumbledore had no choice but to remain patient in order to prevent the Ministry of Magic from completely siding with Voldemort.

If he can avoid conflict with the Ministry of Magic, then the Ministry of Magic will have to confront Voldemort.

In any three-way power struggle, it is unwise for one party to sit back and watch the fight unfold.

Dumbledore preferred to let the Ministry of Magic sit back and watch the two fight it out rather than let Voldemort reap the benefits.

Chapter 49 The First Day Of The New School Year! Animagus!

Although the Ministry of Magic is incompetent, as long as it can keep some neutrals on the sidelines, it will be advantageous for Dumbledore.

Dealing with Voldemort alone was enough to give Dumbledore a headache; if he had to add another Ministry of Magic, he might as well not do anything at all.

But now things are different. Dumbledore has a powerful ally like Li Kai, and he has the capacity to fight on two fronts.

Whether it's having Li Kai keep the Ministry of Magic occupied or having him deal with Voldemort directly, it will save Dumbledore a lot of effort.

In this situation, Dumbledore naturally had no need to compromise with Fudge any further.

Dumbledore is no saint; he almost became the Dark Lord alongside Grindelwald.

In his mind, wizards were far more important than Dementors.

Let alone killing sixty-odd Dementors, even if Li Kai killed all the Dementors, Dumbledore wouldn't care at all.

If all the Dementors are killed, it will free up a lot of jobs and solve the employment problem for many wizards!

But Dementors aren't the only ones who can be jailers!

After figuring this out, Li Kai smiled and said, "Then let's play along with Fuji. That old guy has been unhappy with me for a long time. It wouldn't be bad to take this opportunity to teach him a lesson. When is the hearing?"

Dumbledore said uncertainly, "Fudge may still have some tricks up his sleeve. He was vague in his statements and hasn't decided whether to hold a hearing yet. I'd say we don't need to worry for at least a month."

Li Kai nodded slightly. After considering it for a moment, he suddenly asked, "Professor, could you possibly help me get some dragon eggs?"

You can attend the hearing, but you should prepare well in advance.

If Fudge really intends to do something at the hearing, then the Ministry of Magic will become a den of wolves.

Although Li Kai is very confident, he is not blindly arrogant. He believes that if he can improve his skills, he will be more secure.

Without a doubt, collecting fire dragons is the ultimate shortcut to increasing your strength at this stage.

Collecting fire dragons can improve both physical constitution and magic power, making them very cost-effective.

Although Zhiqiang and Wanda are now far stronger than adult fire dragons, their destructive power is too great. Li Kai doesn't want to use them unless absolutely necessary—he's still thinking about taking over the Ministry of Magic in the future!

If the Ministry of Magic is damaged, wouldn't we lose a high-value collectible?

"You still want to collect dragons at this time?" Dumbledore asked, puzzled. "What are you planning to do now?"

Professor McGonagall muttered to herself, "It's illegal to privately keep dragons, and I think I need to remind you of that."

"Professor McGonagall, I'll be careful and won't let my dragons appear in public easily. As long as they're not caught, it's not a crime, right?" Li Kai then said to Dumbledore, "Don't worry about the hearing. I just want to keep myself occupied during this time. I've only collected Norwegian Spinosaurus and Hungarian Tree-Peaked Dragon so far, and you've seen the changes in them."

"I'm curious about what other dragon species will become under my nurturing. Aren't you curious too? You've researched the uses of dragon blood, so don't you want to know what the dragon blood of the new generation of dragons will do after I nurture them?"

Dumbledore smiled and said, "Of course I'm curious too. Well, I'll ask a few old friends and give you an answer in two days."

"If you get a dragon egg, just submit it through your personal profile," Li Kai reminded him. "Don't forget, you're also a member of the Dragon Knight Guild [those contribution points are still somewhat useful].

"I had almost forgotten if you hadn't mentioned it." Dumbledore nodded. "The business has been discussed enough, and the dinner should be starting soon. Let's go out."

Professor McGonagall said helplessly, "Miss Granger will have to wait a moment; I still need to discuss the timetable issue with her."

Li Kai knew that Hermione, just like in the original story, planned to apply for a time-twister; they had discussed this once.

There isn't just one time-tamper, but the one used by the Saviors trio is the most valuable to collectors.

Therefore, Li Kai did not plan to apply for the Time-Turner himself; he set his sights on the Time-Turner that Hermione had applied for.

He and Harry followed Dumbledore out of his office and headed toward the Great Hall.

Professor McGonagall and Hermione didn't exchange more than a few words before they arrived.

When they returned to the auditorium, the students had been waiting for quite some time.

As is customary, Professor McGonagall presided over the Sorting Ceremony first, and then the banquet officially began.

Oh, and before the banquet began, Dumbledore also made a point of introducing the two new professors.

"I am delighted to welcome two new professors to our faculty. First, Professor Lupin has readily agreed to fill the vacancy in Defense Against the Dark Arts. As for our second new professor, I regret to inform you that our Professor of Conservation of Magical Creatures, Mr. Kettleburn, retired at the end of last semester to enjoy his aging body. However, I am pleased to announce that none other than Rubeus Hagrid will fill his position, agreeing to assume the role of Professor of Conservation of Magical Creatures in addition to his duties as Game Guardian."

Besides introducing the new professor, Dumbledore also warned the students not to provoke the Dementors, but the warning didn't seem particularly severe, and it didn't say that they couldn't harm the Dementors.

This means he's not worried about the young wizards harming the Dementors, but rather about the young wizards being harmed by the Dementors.

Indeed, Dementors held absolutely no place in Dumbledore's eyes.

After the dinner, the new school year officially began. (cfdg) By breakfast the next morning, news of Li Kai's actions on the train had spread throughout Hogwarts.

"Have you heard? Kael'thas of Slytherin has done something big again. He slaughtered more than sixty Dementors while the train was stopped!"

"What do you mean more than sixty? There are clearly more than a hundred!"

"No! I heard more than six hundred!"

"My God! How can he be so powerful? More than six hundred Dementors—that's practically an army!"

"That's right! We're both teenagers, but I feel like I'm just here to make up the numbers."

"He killed so many Dementors, won't the school expel him? After all, the Dementors are the guardians of Azkaban!"

"I saw him and Dumbledore walk into the Great Hall together that day; they must have discussed it."

"The Ministry of Magic will not let this go. More than six hundred guards have been killed; this is a major event that will shock the world!"

The students were talking amongst themselves, as if they didn't know that what happened was a disgrace.

Everyone looked at Li Kai strangely, as if they were looking at a terrifying demon king.

Of course, most of those gazes were filled with admiration.

"Kael'thas, tell me what magic you used to kill the Dementors?" Zhang Qiu asked excitedly.

Li Kai and Zhang Qiu happened to meet at the entrance of the auditorium. He smiled and said, "You all know? The magic I used is called Death Finger, which is my trump card."

Zhang Qiu exclaimed, "That's incredible! Dementors are extremely terrifying monsters, almost as dangerous as fire dragons. You were able to kill a Dementor. I must feel very safe with you around."

As they walked and talked, Cho Zhang even stayed at the Slytherin table. Cassandra's expression grew increasingly grim, and she was almost on the verge of exploding.

Li Kai squeezed Cassandra's small hand and tickled her palm twice, instantly dispelling her anger.

The others arrived one after another, and Draco was still joking about how Harry had been knocked unconscious by the Dementors the day before.

Harry looked furious; he was so angry he wanted to fight Draco, but Ron was trying to persuade him to ignore it.

George tried to defuse Harry's awkwardness, saying with a laugh, "Draco, you were quite frightened yesterday too; you even crawled into our carriage, didn't you?"

Draco loudly protested, "At least I wasn't knocked unconscious!"

Fred gave a perfunctory reply: "Yes, you weren't knocked out, you just almost wet your pants."

Draco retorted angrily, "Nonsense! I didn't wet my pants!"

"Oh right, of course not, but it's almost there." George laughed heartily: "And those two good-for-nothings next to you, all three of you are exactly the same."

Draco said gruffly, "Anyway, I didn't faint."

George suddenly changed the subject: "But to be honest, Dementors are really scary. I wasn't too happy about it either. They can practically freeze a person's internal organs, right?"

"But you didn't pass out, did you?" Harry was still disappointed; he felt he had performed terribly.

"Stop thinking about that stuff," George encouraged. "Harry, you might not know this, but my dad had to go to Azkaban once, Fred, remember? He said he'd never seen such a terrible place. He came back completely weak and shaking... The Dementors sucked away all the happiness, and most of the prisoners there ended up going crazy."

Hermione couldn't help but exclaim, "Dementors don't absorb happiness! They absorb fear! Kyle said so, and he can't be wrong."

George exclaimed in surprise, "Really? There's such a thing? But that's what the books say, and everyone believes that Dementors can absorb people's happiness. Kyle, what's the basis for your claim that Dementors absorb fear?"

"Well, since you asked, I'll tell you about it," Li Kai said with a smile. "I captured a few Dementors and studied them carefully. I found that what they absorb is not happiness. As we all know, the Patronus Charm to subdue Dementors requires you to think about happy things and evoke the happiest emotions in your heart. That is the source of the Patronus Charm's power."

"If Dementors can absorb happiness, then the happier you were, the more excited they should have been, since the happier you were, the more food they could get. Since all your happiness was being drained, how could you use the Patronus Charm?"

"Then why don't we feel any joy when we're facing Dementors?" Harry asked, puzzled.

"Because they can awaken the most terrifying memories within you, even those you yourself have forgotten." Li Kai gave Harry a meaningful look. "For you, the most terrifying memory is undoubtedly what happened that night thirteen years ago. Do you remember it?"

"I—I heard a sharp scream!" Harry exclaimed, then whispered, "But when I woke up from my coma and asked them, they all said they didn't hear any crying."

"So, you should know whose scream it was, right?" Li Kai smiled.

"It was—it was my mother? It must be! I was very young then, but that horrific memory must still be buried deep in my soul." Tears streamed down Harry's face; he was barely able to control himself.

Everyone remained silent, and some of the more sentimental girls even had tears in their eyes.

Li Kai didn't comfort anyone; his voice remained languid: "When a person is subjected to sufficient stimulation, the body will instinctively trigger a coma protection mechanism to protect the brain from damage. Human emotions are also a form of energy. When your emotions are excessively intense, experiencing extreme joy or sorrow in a short period of time, it will lead to a significant depletion of physical energy. Coupled with strong mental stimulation, it's not surprising that the coma protection mechanism is triggered."

"So how can we effectively protect ourselves from harm when facing Dementors?"

"Zhang Qiu asked expectantly."

"It's simple. Learn the Guardian Charm, and when you encounter them, just summon your Guardian. If you don't know the Guardian Charm, then try to think about happy things." Li Kai said casually.

He said, "Try to overcome your fear. As long as you keep a peaceful mind, the Dementors can't do anything to you. But this is difficult to do because everyone has some fears."

When facing Dementors, you'll involuntarily recall those things; this is precisely the Dementors' most terrifying ability. You may not be afraid of Dementors, but there will always be something you fear in your heart, as long as there is...

A weakness makes it difficult to resist a Dementor's attack.

Fred laughed and said, "Now that you mention it, it seems we have no other choice but to learn the Patronus Charm as soon as possible?"

"Yes, apart from the Guardian Charm, the other spells aren't very effective. It's not that the spells are bad, but rather that it's difficult to concentrate on casting them." Li Kai pondered, "Hmm…"

Dementors have physical forms, and physical attacks are effective against them. However, as mentioned before, no matter which method you choose to attack a Dementor, you must first overcome your fear.

"Can you teach us the Patronus Charm?" Fred asked. "You certainly can, right?"

Li Kai casually said, "Let Professor Lupin teach you. He'll definitely be teaching Harry anyway, so it won't be a problem if he teaches him along with you. I'm busy, though."

Harry asked in surprise, "How do you know he'll definitely teach me?"

"Of course he'll teach you, since you're the one most strongly influenced," Li Kai said, standing up. "As for the other reasons, you'll naturally find out later. Now we should go to class."

"You don't want to be late, do you?"

The morning classes consisted of a divination class and a transfiguration class, while the afternoon class was Hagrid's magical creature protection class.

For young wizards just starting out in divination, this is a course that is just as tedious as the history of magic.

Professor Sybil Trelawney was an exceptionally gifted prophet; the prophecies made by Voldemort and Harry were her masterpiece.

However, she always seemed to be talking incoherently during her lectures, making it difficult for her to impart knowledge to her students in a clear and organized manner.

It can only be said that an excellent scholar is not necessarily an excellent professor.

When Professor Trelawney saw Li Kai, an incredulous look appeared on her face. She stammered, "You! You're not from this world! Your future is impossible!"

Unbelievable! Unbelievable! How could someone like you exist? Impossible! Impossible!

Li Kai smiled slightly: "Professor, nothing is impossible. Since I'm here, I have a reason to stay in bed."

"You possess the power to change the future; because of your existence, all prophecies will lose their meaning." Professor Trelawney glanced at Li Kai a few more times before shaking her head and leaving.

He made a lot of inexplicable prophecies during the lesson.

The students were quite frightened, especially by the statement, "Around Easter, one of us will leave us forever."

Many people assumed someone would die around Easter, but Li Kai knew that Hermione would be forced to leave Divination class forever during that time because she was deemed to lack the talent for divination.

classroom.

There were also prophecies about Harry and the big black dog. Two seemingly plausible prophecies led everyone to believe that Harry would face a life-threatening ordeal this school year—and that he might not be able to escape it.

Actually, Professor Trelawney is a very beautiful woman [Song], but unfortunately her appearance and temperament are always hard to describe.

Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration class, the first Transfiguration class of the semester, in which she discussed knowledge related to the Animagus.

While listening to the lecture, Li Kai was also considering whether he should also start practicing Animagus.

Although he had collected many books related to Animagus, the system had never rewarded him with the complete Animagus transformation technique. Perhaps the system wanted him to decide for himself the Animagus transformation.

Magus image.

The results of Animagus's cultivation are not predetermined, but are related to the cultivator's personality.

For Li Kai, the process of cultivating Animagus was too troublesome, requiring not only tedious steps but also the layout of ML-RS.

The key issue is that it's impossible to determine exactly what animal it will transform into.

Such a transformation technique is just too unreliable!

Li Ji really wanted to find an Animagus to study properly, and it would be best if he could simplify the cultivation steps of the Animagus. It would be even better if he could turn it into a magical creature.

Professor McGonagall, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew, Rita Skeeter…

Chapter Fifty: Three More Dragon Eggs Obtained! The Whereabouts Of The One-eyebrow Taoist!

Professor McGonagall, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew, Rita Skeeter...

Li Kai didn't know much about the Animagus, and among these people, Professor McGonagall certainly wouldn't let him study them.

Sirius was already suffering enough, and Li Kai couldn't bear to make things worse for him.

Peter Pettigrew is involved in Voldemort's grand plan of resurrection, so it's not suitable to deal with him for the time being.

It seems that Rita Skeeter is the one who can really get things done.

That old woman is already forty-three years old, and she still likes to stir up trouble. Even if she disappears, probably not many people will miss her.

However, we can talk about Animagus later; there's no rush now, since Li Kai doesn't need it anyway.

In the afternoon, the first lesson was on the protection of amazing animals.

The third-grade students arrived at the door of Hagrid's hut together. Hagrid was already waiting there. They heard that he had started preparing at five o'clock that morning, but it seemed that he was still not ready, because he still looked very nervous.

"Come on, come on, hurry up!" Hagrid shouted as he saw that the students were almost all there. "I have something really good to show you today! This lesson is going to be amazing! Is everyone here? Okay, come with me!"

He led everyone to the prepared venue and then taught them how to open the book "The Book of Yokai," which was the only course in the school year that did not require any prior online preparation.

Even Hermione didn't try, nor did Li Kai, because he found it too troublesome.

The knowledge in "The Monster Book of Monsters" can also be found in other books. Hagrid's choice of this book as a textbook is probably due to a bit of his morbid sense of humor.

Li Kai had already learned most of the knowledge he was supposed to learn in school, and now he only occasionally reads some miscellaneous books for leisure.

There's no need for previewing; he already has a lot of knowledge in his head. What he lacks now is practice.

After instructing the students to open their textbooks, Hagrid casually said a few words, then went and brought over a dozen hippogriffs.

These monsters are incredibly handsome, with shiny, shimmering fur that transitions from feathers to hair. Each hippogriff is a different color, making each one unique.

"Remember, the first thing you need to know about hippogriffs is that they are very proud," Hagrid shouted. "Never do anything to humiliate them, or they will go berserk, and whoever angers them could very well pay with their life!"

The lesson went smoothly; since Draco didn't cause any trouble, no one else did. Overall, Hagrid's first lesson went well.

It was clear that the big guy was very happy; Li Kai even saw Haig secretly wiping away tears when get out of class ended.

For someone who craves recognition, success is truly a wonderful experience.

By the time we reached third grade, the workload had become much lighter. As long as we didn't try to learn too much and choose too many courses, we could basically have a lot of free time every day.

Li Kai was like that; he only chose a few courses that would allow him to earn enough credits, and didn't choose any extra courses.

When he had nothing to do after class, he would find a place to flirt with Cassandra or Hermione, or he would go to the Emerald Dream to do some business research.

After much deliberation, Li Kai felt the time was ripe, so he decided to take a few of his girlfriends to the Emerald Dreamland again and grant them the right to enter it at will.

Since Penelope was free, they went to find her together and ended up at the House of Requirement.

"You've already been to the Emerald Dreamland. It was originally my world, but now I'm going to share it with you." Li Kai said with a smile, "From now on, you can freely enter and leave the Emerald Dreamland. As long as I mark you with the world's mark, you can use the power of the pendant to instantly teleport to the Emerald Dreamland if you encounter danger in the future."

The Jade Dream exists within the real world, but it is also different from the real world. The real world can be called the surface world, and the Jade Dream can be called the inner world.

Li Kai is the absolute ruler of the Emerald Dream; he can let whoever he wants enter.

The three girls were pleasantly surprised; they had loved this wonderful world when they last visited Emerald Dreamland.

"Kyle, are you serious?" Hermione asked excitedly, "Can we really enter the Emerald Dream anytime from now on?"

"Of course, I have no reason to lie to you. You are all the people I trust the most." Li Kai's sweet words came naturally, warming the hearts of the three girls.

Penelope couldn't resist kissing Li Kai, giggling as she said, "Unless you ever leave me, I'll never leave you again."

"This is exactly what I wanted," Li Kai said with satisfaction. "This is our home, and I will make it bigger and more beautiful in the future."

"It's a good thing to make this place bigger and more beautiful." Cassandra nodded in agreement, then changed the subject, saying irritably, "Then you can keep more women, right?"

Li Kai did have this idea, but he certainly couldn't admit it at this time, otherwise the atmosphere would be very awkward and Cassandra would lose face.

He shook his head and said, "Cassandra, you misunderstand me. I am already very happy to have you all. There is no need to be greedy for more."

"Who would believe you!" Cassandra rolled her eyes at Li Kai, not believing such nonsense at all.

"Alright, you guys can have fun here. I have to get down to business," Li Kai said with a smile.

He planned to quickly make a replica of the Elder Wand, and then use the fake Elder Wand to trade with Dumbledore for the real one.

As the most powerful magic wand in the world, its collection rewards must be extremely generous.

Li Kai had long mastered the technique of making wands. He had collected many books on wand making and also collected many different types of wands.

In terms of theoretical knowledge of wand making, Li Kai was confident that he was no weaker than anyone else in the world, and even the legendary mentally challenged master Ollivander might not be stronger than him.

He now believes that all that is lacking is practical experience.

Earlier, when he was traveling through the Forbidden Forest, he had already captured some Thestrals and kept them in the Emerald Dream, as well as Hippogriffs and other magical creatures that lived in the Forbidden Forest.

Now, the biodiversity of Emerald Dreamland is no less than that of the Forbidden Forest.

Therefore, once the elderberry is obtained, the basic requirements for crafting the Elder Wand are fully met.

Now all we need to do is keep experimenting and make the one that is closest to the original.

Li Kai first went to the Thestrals' living area and collected some tail feathers, then went to the elderberry planting area and selected wood suitable for making wands.

After selecting the materials, you can start processing them.

Different materials require different treatment methods. For example, some woods need to be air-dried, some need to be oven-dried, and some need to be soaked in chemicals.

Processing the wand core is just as troublesome; different materials and different processing methods may result in wands with different effects.

Li Kai couldn't get his hands on the method for making the Elder Wand. He had seen the Elder Wand a few times at Dumbledore's place and obtained some parameters that could be seen with his Magic Eye, so he could only try it out little by little on his own.

He prepared more than a dozen elderberries and Thestral tail feathers, processed them in different ways, and planned to arrange and combine them later.

The simplest solution can be completed in ten minutes and then proceed to the next step.

So, a dozen minutes later, the first replica of the Elder Wand was born.

Li Kai waved his wand and cast a spell, discovering that the magic's power was indeed stronger, but not by much.

Without a doubt, this combination is clearly unsuitable.

Li Kai used highly professional techniques to separate the wand from the core, awaiting the next reassembly.

The first day of research ended quickly, and he did not obtain the optimal combination.

We need to continue our research and experimentation.

It is estimated that it will take at least ten to twenty days to arrive at the best combination result—the processing of some materials alone takes more than ten days.

Two days later, in the afternoon, Li Kai suddenly had a thought and quickly took out the Dragon Knight Guild's Archives.

The mission log shows that Dumbledore had just submitted three dragon eggs a few minutes earlier.

One Welsh green dragon egg, one Shenlongguo fireball dragon egg, and one Australian egg white-eyed dragon egg.

Li Kai was very happy. If it were a fire dragon that he had already obtained, collecting it again would definitely lower its value.

He hasn't acquired these three dragon species yet, but their quality will definitely remain legendary. Even if the rewards aren't as good as before, they won't be much less.

He hurried to Hagrid and asked him to take care of the three dragon eggs.

In fact, Li Kai can now take care of the dragon eggs; he can even get Zhiqiang and Wanda to help incubate them.

But after much deliberation, he considered that Hagrid was, after all, a very important character in the story, and having him help hatch the dragon eggs might subtly improve his rating score.

So let Hagrid incubate it; he enjoys doing it anyway.

When Li Kai arrived at Hagrid's hut, he discovered that there was already a dragon egg in the large cauldron that Hagrid used to incubate dragon eggs.

He recognized the species of the dragon egg; it was a Norwegian Spinosaurus egg, the kind Quirrell had given to Hagrid in the first year of school.

"Hagrid! Where did this dragon egg come from?" Li Kai asked curiously.

"I asked a friend to get these for me. I really miss the little guy I first hatched, so I specially got ten more Norwegian Spinosaurus eggs," Hagrid said apologetically.

"So, you've already mastered the Contract Summoning Technique?" Li Kai asked.

"Yes, I've tried making contracts with many animals, and now I can guarantee it almost always works," Hagrid said proudly.

"Great, congratulations! You'll soon have your own fire dragon." Li Kai offered his sincere congratulations.

Hagrid said with a smug look, "I have to thank you for that, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to raise a dragon at all. By the way, what brings you here?"

Li Kai took out the three dragon eggs he had just received and said with a smile, "I found three companions for this little guy. Can you help him hatch them together?"

"Oh! That's wonderful!" Hagrid exclaimed excitedly. "This is the first time I've ever tried to hatch four dragon eggs at once."

"Then I'll leave it to you." Li Kai stood up to say goodbye: "I'll go back now and come see you again in a few days."

On the way back to the castle, Li Kai ran into Zhang Qiu again.

"Hi! Kyle, good afternoon." Zhang Qiu waved and winked at Li Kai. "Are you going to Hagrid's cabin?"

"Yes, I have some business to attend to with Hagrid." Li Kai asked with a smile, "And you? What are you planning to do?"

"I saw you from the tower, so I came down here specifically to find you…" Zhang Qiu seemed lost in thought, her beautiful face slightly flushed, making her look incredibly charming and lovely.

"You came all this way specifically to see me?" Li Kai asked in surprise. "Is there something you need my help with?"

He gazed at Zhang Qiu, his eyes filled with admiration.

According to the original book, Cho Chang was an extremely beautiful girl, the most beautiful girl in Ravenclaw, whose charm could even make Harry the savior fall head over heels for her.

From Li Kai's perspective, Zhang Qiu is exactly his favorite type of girl with long, straight black hair, and judging from her development, she will definitely be very righteous in the future.

"No, actually I've been wanting to talk to you, but you've always been with other people." Zhang Qiu looked even more shy; she could feel Li Kai's gaze.

Because of the light, she kept her head down and dared not look at Li Kai.

"I happen to know a really secluded place. Would you like to come with me?" Li Kai asked with a smile.

"Where are you talking about? Do I know where that is?" Zhang Qiu asked curiously.

Li Kai held out his hand and said, "No, you definitely don't know about that place. So far, only five people in the whole world know about it, and if you go, you'll be the sixth. If you want to go..."

"Give me your hand, and I'll take you there."

'

Zhang Qiu hesitated for a moment before extending her hand.

Li Kai grabbed Zhang Qiu, then opened the Emerald Dream, instantly pulling her into the hospital.

Zhang Qiu felt a momentary dizziness, and the next moment he found himself in a beautiful world like a fairyland.

She looked around and felt that she had never seen such a beautiful view in her life.

"This place is so beautiful!" she murmured. "Have I wandered into a fairyland?"

"Welcome to Shangcui Dreamland!" Li Kai said with a smile, "You are the fifth visitor here."

"Emerald Dreamland? That's a wonderful name! I never knew such a beautiful world existed!" Zhang Qiu picked a violet from the roadside and asked softly.

"Can you tell me who the previous four defenders were?"

"Cassandra, Hermione, Penelope, and Dumbledore—they all visited this world not long ago," Li Kai said smugly. "Of course you wouldn't know such a world existed."

Because this world belongs to me, and no one can enter without my permission.

"What? A world that belongs only to you?" Zhang Qiu exclaimed in astonishment, "Incredible! You actually possess such a world—a world created by magic!"

"Only gods could create such a beautiful world. Are you a god?"

"No, I'm not that powerful yet," Li Kai explained vaguely. "Because of certain special experiences, I possessed the Emerald Dream. The Emerald Dream initially only had one..."

Square kilometers, I kept expanding it with magic, and it grew bigger and bigger. It was initially very desolate, with only abundant magic and fertile soil. I continuously added plants and animals, and it became...

It gradually became like this.

Zhang Qiu's bright eyes were fixed on Li Kai. She bit her lip and said, "You're amazing!"

Li Kai smiled slightly: "Let's go, I'll show you around."

Next, he took Zhang Qiu to see Zhiqiang, Wanda, and many other strange and unusual things.

Zhang Qiu felt that her worldview was being reshaped. She felt that she used to be a frog in a well, but now she had become the most knowledgeable person in the world.

"Kyle, I heard that you've been collecting some strange and unusual things. I also have some old items at home, and I don't know if you'd like them. I'd like to give them to you."

"Unbeknownst to her, Zhang Qiu had already changed into Li Kai's breast. She didn't think there was anything wrong with it, because this kind of behavior had already appeared in her mind countless times."

She bet that none of the girls at Hogwarts could say they had no romantic feelings for Li Kai.

"Old items?" Li Kai asked with interest, "Could you tell me what they are? Do they have any special origins?"

Zhang Qiu smiled gently and said, "My grandfather was from the Divine Dragon Kingdom. To escape the war, he came to the Luo Kingdom with an old Taoist priest named One-Eyebrow. Later..."

When Master Mei passed away, his belongings ended up in my grandfather's possession. My grandfather locked them in a large box, and I once secretly opened it to peek inside and discovered...

Inside were wooden swords, talismans, and some other things I didn't recognize.

"

Upon hearing this, Li Kai was immediately taken aback, as the name of the One-Eyebrow Taoist was extremely well-known to him.

He was initially puzzled; the One-Eyebrow Taoist was a character from horror movies, how could he appear in this world?

But then I thought, isn't Harry Potter a character in a novel too?

If Harry Potter can exist in the real world, why can't the One-Eyebrow Taoist Priest?

At this moment, Li Kai realized that the world was far more complex than he had imagined. Before him lay the nautical charts of the Caribbean, and behind him was the Taoist priest with the peach wood sword. Who knew what the future held?

What other strange and unusual things might appear?

With this thought in mind, Li Kai's mood calmed down considerably, and he felt even more hopeful for the future. He smiled and asked, "I'm very interested in that one-eyebrowed Taoist priest. Could you tell me more about him?"

"Is that right?"

The One-Eyebrow Taoist is a legendary figure, but why did he come to Ying Kingdom?
