Chapter 1- A Choatic Beginning

To anyone who was reading my other story I apologize but that story is on a indefinite pause. After covid and a multitude of other things, I don't have the inspiration to continue that story. Hopefully you will all enjoy my new story, it will be HP x MCU crossover. It will be a self-insert HP with knowdledge of HP canon but not MCU canon. The MCU phase will officially start after Harry kills Voldemort but I will mention MCU events from time to time. The pairing will most likely be HP x Black Widow, unless someone can recommend another that I find more interesting.

It is an odd thing being a baby, having absolutely no control of your life. You move when someone moves you, eat when someone feeds you, can only bathe when someone bathes you. It is even stranger being a baby when you've already lived a full life and remember all of it as soon as you were born. It was also strange to learn that in this world my name is Harry Potter, a character from a fictional book/movie series. I would have treated it as a joke if I didn't see elves around the house doing chores and seeing my parents in this life use magic around me regularly. Speaking of my parents, you guessed it, they were Lily and James Potter, with all the features the book described them to be as. I even got to meet Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew who also resembled their movie appearances. Considering that, I wondered how I would look when I grew up, probably not like Daniel Radcliffe considering this Lily and James looked different from the movies. It was a very surreal thing, being aware of the world around you as a baby. I had no control over anything despite having all the crucial information. I wanted to tell them about Peter, the horcruxes, the prophecy but it was all gibberish from my mouth. My vocal cords were not developed enough and I couldn't write anything either, having the limited dexterity of a baby. All my messages of imminent danger were taken as cute crude drawings. It was all very frustrating, seeing the events play out just as the story I knew.

And now here we were, the day I would go down in history, for losing everything I had. Though my time was short in this universe, I'd still grown attached to the Potters, I didn't see them as parents, as I could only think of my first parents as such. But I still came to care for them quite a bit, seeing them as foster parents. Knowing they were so close to their death had me very solemn for the entire day. Lily and James were very concerned as I didn't eat much but their worrying just made me more upset as I couldn't tell them what was coming. And as expected late in the evening I heard an explosion, I immediately started crying. The Potters must have thought I was crying because I was scared by the explosion but instead, I was crying because I knew I wouldn't see either of them after today.

"Lily! It's him, take Harry upstairs!" I heard James yell out. I wanted to scream at him to not be stupid and run with us but I was whisked away by Lily as I continued to scream out nonsense. When we got upstairs Lily placed me in my crib and looked at me with all the love she could.

"My Harry, you knew something was wrong didn't you. Oh, my smart boy, you will become a powerful wizard I know. I'm sorry we won't be there to see it." Lily said with tears in her eyes. Before she could say anything else we both heard another explosion, this one from the living room. The explosion forced Lily to stop her words and place a kiss on my forehead. She then took out her wand and started chanting a spell. I couldn't see anything that was happening but I could hear it all. I could hear Lily "No not Harry, take me instead." I heard her scream, and I knew Voldemort had killed her.

The first look I got of the famous Voldemort was unnerving to be honest. He looked just as much the crazed monster that you would expect for a mass murderer. He didn't waste time in leveling his wand at me. Just as he shouted the killing spell, I yelled out trying to get the magic in me to act, I had to do something. Just as the infamous green spell flew out from his wand a golden hue appeared around me, the hue was probably from whatever spell Lily had cast on me. When the spell hit the golden barrier, I could feel it trying to break past it. I yelled out in more desperation and internally yelled at my magic to save and that's when I felt something spring from within me. The sensation was overwhelming, like I had all the power in the world. I could feel the sensation mold itself to my desire for protection. I had closed my eyes because of the brightness of the golden hue so I never saw a blue hue come out of me and empower the golden hue. With the help from my magic the barrier held and repelled the spell back at him.

I opened my eyes when I heard him yell out in pain. I could see his body disintegrate and shade of black take his place. A small piece flew from it to me and I was helpless in stopping it enter my head. As the shade invaded my mind it drained me of the last of my energy, most of my energy being drained when I forcefully called on my magic.

I only came to when the aftermath of the attack was over and everything had been settled. I was lying on the front steps of a house, the Dursley house most likely. I assumed that Dumbledore had Hagrid bring me here after taking me from Sirius. I was not happy with this outcome; I had a small hope that maybe Sirius will decide to keep me with him but that was not to be. I knew the life that was waiting for me behind the front door and I also know that this where Dumbledore wanted Harry to be. For both those reasons I hated the current situation. The first reason was pretty explanatory as Dursleys were the worst sort of people that nobody would want to live with them. As for the second reason, it was because I didn't want to be under Dumbledore's thumb, I always thought of him as a manipulative old man that unknowingly did more harm than good. I needed to make a plan to get out here as soon as possible. I already had one idea that I don't think Dumbledore thought of when implementing the blood wards, house elves. If I was a normal baby, I would have forgotten the existence of magic over time, let alone house elves. But I was no normal baby, I remember that the Potters had house elves, and even remembered their names. I was planning to stay with the Dursley's only till I could learn to talk properly, once I could I would call a house elf to take me away.

Thankfully, either Dumbledore or Professor McGonagall had thought of placing warming charms on the blanket that wrapped me. I was able to fall back asleep thanks to the warmth of the blanket. I woke up the next morning to yelling coming from a man and woman, who I already guessed to be Vernon and Petunia Dursley. It seemed they found me on the porch early morning and since been arguing about what to do with me. Eventually they decided to keep me as they could get child benefits from the government for taking care of me. I wished that they decided to give me to an orphanage, that would have been better than living them.

The next 2 years were plenty horrible, it was one thing to expect the horrible caregiving but actually experiencing it was much worse than I had thought. They did everything possible to give me the least care possible. I had to cry as loud as I could a couple of times for them to even feed me and they started using the infamous cupboard under the stairs as my bedroom right from day one. I spent many hours alone in the cupboard, which I'm pretty sure the Dursleys did on purpose as form of punishment for ruining their lives.

However, their punishment would turn out to be a boon for me, as every time they locked me in the cupboard, I would use the chance to practise using my magic. In the first couple of months, I made no progress at all in using my magic. I remembered the feeling of using it when I faced Voldemort and I would try to experience that same feeling but it never worked. The first time I succeeded was the day the Dursleys were feeling particularly angry with me. They hadn't given me food for the entire day and kept shut in the cupboard while they left with Dudley to somewhere (I also noticed they made sure to keep Dudley away from me as much as possible). I was so hungry that day eventually my magic reacted to my need for food and made the chicken Petunia had made earlier appear in my hands. I knew that I would get in trouble for it when they returned but at that time I didn't care, I was too hungry and too excited to care. I spent the entire night focusing on that feeling and was able to call on my magic once more to get rid of the chicken bones. I don't know where they went but as long the Dursley's didn't find any on me I didn't care. They still blamed me when they got home and saw some of the food missing, I guess I further added to their fear of me being a wizard. In the end it didn't matter as I knew they were going to hate me for it regardless of whatever proof they had or didn't have.

Over the 2 years I spent as much time as possible getting my magic to react to my will. I realised slowly that the more I focused on the intent of my magic, the better response I got. For training purposes, I used the objects in the cupboard for practice. Screws and nails from the stairs above, splinters of wood and even some ants and spiders. I felt a little bad using them as training tools but I took solace in the fact that I never harmed them just practised levitating them and setting them down. The screws and nails were free game, I pretty much went through all the spells I remembered from first year. I guessed since I wasn't using a wand and was you know a baby it was very difficult. I could feel the strain my magic was going through; it was still too weak to really do much. But I wasn't going to let that stop me, I theorized that magic for wizards acts like a muscle, the more I practise the better I will be.

For me learning wandless magic was essential as I'm pretty sure that wands were something the ministries of the various governments implemented for control. The only way they would be able to track someone using magic would be through some sort of tracking rune/charm on all wands given to students. If they could actually track someone using magic without wands then Hagrid should have been arrested plenty of times, his wand was snapped for a reason, the ministry would have arrested him had they known he was using magic.

To be honest in the past 2 years I hadn't made much progress, but I was putting all blame to the fact that I shouldn't normally be able to use magic at this age. Even the slightest bit of levitation was difficult but considering levitation is something taught to 11-year-olds, the little bit I could do is not bad. The best part however is that I'm going to be leaving the Dursley's for good very soon. The Dursley's had continued to neglect me as much as possible, taking care of me just enough to be considered humane. Experiencing it from the eyes of an adult, it was absolutely disgusting. Once I could I would make sure the Dursley's paid for what they did. I was finally able to speak a few months ago, my vocal cords finally developed to the point of allowing me to talk. I stayed longer because I wanted it to be on record that I had to go to the hospital at one point living with them. It finally happened when they had to take me to the doctors because they didn't feed me enough. I didn't hear what they told the doctor but it was enough to not get them in trouble this time. Either way with that incident I got my ticket out of here. And once I could do so, I would get the Dursley's in trouble somehow for losing their nephew. I was sure that they weren't going to report me missing. And this hospital incident will serve as a suspicious incident for the authorities when they do end up investigating my disappearance.

Chapter 2 - Returning Home

The day I chose to leave the Dursley was when once again they chose to shut me in without food while they left for lunch outside. The poor baby Dodders spilt some food and I got blamed for it, and to rub salt in my wounds Vernon smugly coddled Dudley by telling him they would be going to his favourite restaurant.

As soon as they left, I called the name that has been threatening my lips since I could talk. "TIPSY!" I waited for 3 seconds holding my breath for each second, I let it out when I heard a voice call out.

"Master Harry, you've finally called us!" The house elves always loved tacking care of me so these past few years must have been horrible for them not knowing where I was and how I was doing.

"I'm glad to see you Tipsy. Tell me how are you and the other elves." She immediately started balling and mumbling out an answer. I was able to get the gist of it, the elves had been completely abandoned at Hogwarts. Dumbledore took them to Hogwarts after the night with Voldemort but he forgot to assign any specific tasks to them and due to how many elves Hogwarts had they never had enough work.

"It's okay Tipsy, we'll all be heading back home soon. First can you tell me if there is any tracking magic on me?" I didn't know if she could do that, I never knew how powerful they were supposed to be. She looked at me in askance for a second and then snapped her fingers.

"Master Harry, you have 2 charms on you. One is a charm for some form of a ward and the other is a tracking charm." Tipsy stated to me after finishing her analysis of the spells she found on me.

"Can you replace the charm to other people?" I wanted to move the tracking charm to Dudley and the charm for the blood ward to Petunia. I didn't know what would happen if I moved two charms onto muggles but I figured one charm would not do anything. And the blood ward made more sense for Petunia being the one in the family with closer blood ties to me.

"Master Harry, who put these on you? Do you…" I stopped her by raising my hand.

"Don't worry Tipsy, I already know who and how I will get an answer for them. Just please do ask I ask." She looked reluctant but nodded. "Okay good, there will be people coming back here and you will be transferring the charms to two of them. For now, gather all the elves and take them back home and get it cleaned and ready. When I call you again, I will come back home with you then." Once again, she looked reluctant to leave me but I encouraged her with a pat on the head.

After she left, I used my magic to unlatch the bolt for the cupboard. I still couldn't many things a first-year wizard could do but for a 4-year-old I was plenty decent. I made my way to the kitchen, opened the fridge and pulled out some of the treats they kept for their precious son. I ate a truffle and made my way upstairs to the bedrooms. I first went to Dudley's room and broke all of his toys by using them to practise my magic. I used them to practice flinging something very hard at a wall. It may have been a very petty thing to do but I'm also a 4-year-old, I can't always be mature. I then went to Vernon and Petunia's room and tore through it and took anything of value. I put it all in one of the bags they had and then brought it down with me. I then finished all the other treats and took a nap on the couch waiting for the rest of the "family" to come home.

I woke up instantly when I heard the car pull into the driveway. I'd heard it enough locked in my "room" to be able to discern it even from the couch. Before they could enter the house, I called Tipsy back. "Tipsy!"

"Master Harry, you called me back!" she said excitedly.

"Yes, I did Tipsy, it's time for me to come home. First, I need you to knock out the three people that will be entering the house and then transfer the location charm to the little boy, and blood ward charm to the woman." I knew she understood when she nodded excitedly at finally getting a task from me. My heart skipped a beat when I heard the front door unlock. As soon as Vernon entered, he started yelling, I had left the door to the cupboard wide open for a reason.

"I knew it you…" was as far as he got.

As I walked into view Vernon had already been knocked out by an invisible Tipsy. Petunia looked at me in horror and was about to scream out when Tipsy knocked her out too. She didn't have to bother with Dudley, who was already peacefully asleep in his carriage. Tipsy then snapped her fingers twice and looked at me in glee. I knew it was all done when I saw that expression. "Okay Tipsy, take me home."

As soon as I got home, the Potter Manor, I was greeted by the rest of the house elves.

"Sebas, Albie, Nabel! It's good to see you all" I could feel myself tear up seeing all the house elves together again. When I first came to this world I was scared to be left alone after the inevitable night with Voldemort. But after seeing them I knew I would be able to live a better life than I was meant to.

I looked around the manor, it seems they had done a good job cleaning it before my arrival. It looked just like how it did when we lived here before Dumbledore got James and Lily to agree on moving to Godric's Hollow. If the elves were taken back by my mature conduct, they didn't show it or comment on it. I guess they were just happy to be back home.

"How have you all been?" Iasked them once I was done lookig around.

It was Sebas who answered me "Not that great Master Harry, but better now that we are home with you."

"Tipsy told me that you had a rough couple of years. Did anyone question you all when you left?" I asked them. This time it was Albie who answered

"No Master Harry, too many house elves for any of the professors to notice". That worked out for my benefit, though it was disheartening to hear that even the professors were negligent of house elves.

After catching up on their experiences at Hogwarts I sent them off to clean up the rest of the house. While they were doing that, I took a walk around the house, reminiscing on all the memories I had of the Potters in this house. I let out a deep sigh after I was done, figuratively closing this chapter of my life so I could focus on the next phase. I needed to be me not the Harry Potter from canon. I finally have control back in my life, and I will live it how I want. The first thing I decided to do was head to the master bedroom and let myself fall asleep on the soft bed.

I was woken up by Nabel with a big breakfast tray, my mouth began salivating instantly. But I made sure to only eat enough to fill me up, eating too much right away will only make me sick since my body wasn't used to it. The elves were very concerned but I told them I just wasn't hungry for the day. I didn't ever want them finding out how I lived with the Dursleys, I was scared for what they would do.

After breakfast I started browsing through the library the manor had. I focused more on magic theory in the beginning and then slowly made my way to the other subjects. Eventually the elves prepared a spot for me in the library that I could use as a study space after seeing me spend so much time in the library. I also had them prepare a space for me to practise magic. I'd tried asking them for advice but couldn't get much from them, all their magic was innate to them and so they weren't great with explanations.

I eventually got set in a routine that I got lost in. The mornings were devoted to book learning, both magical and normal education. I had the elves get some books for me from a closed bookstore. The afternoon was spent practising magic and putting all theory I was learning to use. The evenings were spent just lounging around the manor, I also had the elves fetch some board games that I played with them.

Chapter 3 - Learning, Exploring, Flying

A few years quickly passed by as I got lost in the small world, I had created for myself in Potter Manor. I was now 8 years old and my wandless magic was probably on the same level of a 2nd year student. I could do all the spells that a first and second year should be able to do and more. The Potter Manor was a gold mine of knowledge that helped me improve my control of wandless magic and also gave me ideas of new ways to implement my magic. I was happy with the progress I had made so far so I decided to reward myself by buying a broom.

I was going to start my flying lessons by myself, something I was very excited about. I was always enamored with the idea of flying in my old life. I had gone sky-diving, bungee jumping and ziplining in my quest to feel as close to flying as possible. I could have sent the elves to buy the broom for me but I decided to make the trip myself, to get some experience moving about this world. I made sure to cover the infamous scar with some make-up so that nobody would recognize me.

I had the elves drop me off in a hidden alley and told them to be ready for my call just to be safe. I had no idea if Dumbledore ever found out that I left the Dursley house but if he did, I wanted to make sure I had a way out if anybody recognized me at Diagon Alley. I walked out of the alley with confidence and made sure to seem like I knew where I was going. I could feel the eyes of some of the adults on me but as I walked with purpose and confidence, they all left me alone, probably thinking my parents were close by and I was given permission to walk about alone. My first stop was Gringotts, I had the elves use any money that was still at the manor to pay for anything throughout the years, thankfully Lily and James had left quite a bit in the manor for emergencies. But now that I was here, I wanted to get control of my vault back in my hands.

As I entered the bank, I was being watched by every goblin I passed by, I guess goblins were more attentive to the young than adult wizards.

As I reached the counter, the goblin that was manning it asked me in a curt and dismissive tone "What can I help you with, child?"

"I would like to get a new key for my vault," I answered him respectfuly.

"Hmm, and what happened to your old key, did you lose it? Maybe your parents should be more careful with giving you responsibilities you are not ready for?" He rattled on his unasked-for opinions, I let him go on because I didn't want him to send me away.

"Actually, my parents are dead, and my guardian doesn't remember where he placed my key so he sent me to get a new one while he shops for other things." I gave him the simple explanation I had thought of. He gave me a once over and then rang a bell on his desk. A goblin walked out from the back.

"Take this child to get a new key and make sure to cut the fee for the replacement key just this once" He intructed the other elf and then turned to me and said, "And child you should know once you get a new key, the old one will be invalid. Even if you find the old one, it will be useless." I let out a small smile that went unnoticed by either of the goblins.

"Follow me!" the second goblin said forcefully, I could tell he was unhappy with being given this task, babysitting a child was probably way beneath him. It actually worked out very well for me that the goblin who was assigned to help me was so irritable. He wasn't really paying attention to the actual process so he never realized that he had created a new key for "the Harry Potter". To make the new key, I had to drop a bit of my blood onto a parchment that glowed as soon as my blood fell on it. As soon as some information started appearing on the parchment, the goblin started waving his hand and in the next second a key appeared on top of the parchment.

He never bothered to look at the information that appeared on the parchment, he just cared that the magic of the parchment was able to pull up a vault based on my blood. Once he handed me the key, he burned the parchment and then shooed me out. I didn't need to withdraw any money right now so I left the bank right after but I made sure to give a respectful bow to the goblin at the counter. I wanted to maintain as much of a positive relationship with the goblins as possible. Considering that goblins had the monopoly of money in the Britain magical world, I was not going to do something stupid like break into Gringotts.

After I left Gringotts, I visited the broom store and immediately saw the Nimbus 1000 for sale on the front display. I made the quick decision to buy it based on how great the Nimbus 2000 was shown to be in canon. Thankfully the store was very busy so I was able to buy the broom myself without any issues. I then went to Flourish and Blotts to get some new books, I still had plenty to read through at the Potter Manor library but it never hurt having more books. I then went back to the same alley I was dropped of in and called one of the elves to take me back home.

Over the past few years that I had lived with the elves, I always acted mature and disciplined so it must have been a shock for them to see me behave like the 8-year-old I was when we got home. I was so giddy to start flying that I'm sure I had the elves worried for my mental stability. Paying their worries no attention I took my newly bought broom out to the open space behind the manor. It was vast field that had been warded to keep prying eyes away giving me complete freedom to go crazy.

I remembered the instructions from the books and the movies on flying and tried to implement them. Just as with the Harry Potter I read about; the broom shot straight to my arm when I called for it from the ground. I then mounted the broom and thought about gently floating up. I executed the move perfectly, and came back down. I had to calm myself so I didn't end up injuring myself in excitement. I spent the entire day and the rest of the week on the broom. My studying had taken a break for that week as I practised mastering my ability to fly on the broom.

Remembering the many numbers of times Harry was taken off his broom, I also made sure to practise sticking charms so I wouldn't fall of the broom, while also practising calling the broom to me with my magicfrom wherever I am, whether on the ground or in the air. It was a wandless form of the accio spell. The elves had a heart attack when I first suggested my idea, they tried to convince me out of it but I was too bull headed for that. I had the elves wait nearby for emergency sake but I never needed them, my magic had my back. I would fly straight up high into the air and then jump off the broom. And then as I fell, I would call upon the broom to come to my rescue. I did have one close call when Tipsy almost had to step in but I was able to manage in the end.

After the one week I set aside just for flying I got back into my studying with renewed vigor. One thing I realized through the repeated falling exercise was that the more trust I had in my magic, the better it responded to me as well. I had noticed a significant improvement in my control and the strength of my magic after the week of flying. I could confidently say that if my control before was that of a 2nd year student, then after the week my control had improved to that of a 3rd year student. Eventually I got set into a new routine for myself, mornings were still for studying, afternoons now were interchanged with practical spell training aka wandless magic or practising flying. I added in exercising to be done right after either activity, I was a very fit and active person in my old life. I was for sure going to be the same here as well. I continued to keep the evenings for lounging purposes, I knew the importance of taking time out for yourself. Pretty soon just like the last time I set a routine for myself I let myself get lost in it, days turned to weeks, turned to months, turned to years.

Chapter 4 - Back to School Shopping

It was only when Tipsy brought me my Hogwarts letter did I realize that it was soon time for me to join Hogwarts. I had become so entranced in my pursuit of magic that I had lost all track of time the past few years.

I saw the address on the front of the letter and wondered if Dumbledore had the chance to see where the letter was going. He would probably freak out if he did. The letter was addressed to "Harry Potter, Master Bedroom, Potter Manor".

I read through the letter and was surprised when the letter was word for word the same as the letter from canon. Even though I knew what universe this was by now, I was kind of hoping that it wouldn't follow canon so much, things did not go well for canon Harry.

I already had most of the things on the requirements list, the books and potions ingredients I needed to learn and practise and I had plenty to spare. The clothes I had ordered in advance to perfectly fit my body. I hadn't grown too much, but I was very fit. The only thing I was really missing was my wand and if I wanted, to go get Hedwig. I always loved Hedwig in canon but I was reluctant because of the dangerous life I was going to live. I wasn't going to be a passive Harry Potter so maybe getting Hedwig wasn't such a great idea. Oh well I'll make my mind up after I get my wand.

I had Sebas drop me off in the same alley we used last time. Diagon alley was much busier than the last time I had been here to get my broom, all the parents and students trying to buy everything needed for the new year. Since I only needed a wand, I quickly made my way to Ollivanders but I made sure to enter only when it looked completely empty. I didn't want anybody realizing who I was as I remember Ollivander had a tendency to blurt out the name of whoever entered his store. I was also a little nervous getting my wand, I didn't know how much stronger my magic would get once I got my wand but I was definitely looking forward to it.

As I entered the store, I took in the layout of it. I don't remember how the store was described in the books but it definitely looked like how it did in the movies, narrow and shabby.

Before Ollivander could call out my name, I turned to where I knew he would be and said "Hello, I was hoping to buy a wand, would you be able to help me out?" I knew I flustered him based on his expression, he paused for a few moments, probably wondering how I knew where he was.

He gathered himself very quickly and approached me, "Why of course Harry Potter, I'd be happy to help you?" He was once again flustered when I didn't question him on how he knew my name. I was very much enjoying putting him on the back pedal considering the interaction between him and canon Harry.

Eventually he decided to move past his flustering and got started on taking all the measurements he needed to. The process felt as arbitrary as it did in canon. He measured the length of my arm, length from my nose to my belly button, length of my belly button to the floor and on it went for 5 minutes. Once he was done, the long process of finding the right wand for me started. Just as in canon, none of the wands he handed me worked, he immediately grabbed each one from my hand after I held them for mere seconds.

"Hmm, I wonder", I heard him mutter as he left to grab yet another wand, my heart skipped a beat as I knew which wand he was going to bring. Even though I knew the benefit the wand would give me facing Voldemort, I still didn't want to be connected to him in any way.

This was the first time since I started living in Potter Manor that I felt heavy uncertainty. While living with the Dursleys, there were definitely days where I thought I might die but I never felt that way in Potter Manor. As Ollivander handed me the wand, I could feel my palms get sweaty. When I finally grabbed the wand, I felt nothing...

It was very anti-climactic, even for Ollivander who I heard mutter as he shook his head "I was sure that would be the one. Well Mr. Potter you have stumped, we've been at this for quite some time and yet no luck." I shrug my shoulders as I didn't know what else to say. Did the wand sense my hesitancy and that's why it didn't work for me? Even I was very stumped at the moment. In my stupor, I never noticed Ollivander head to the back and bring an old box with him.

The box was very old and tattered yet it radiated power, I could feel it the moment he put the box down in front me. "Well Mr. Potter, this is a special wand that I have kept with me for many years, no one has been able to claim it for all this time. But I think it may be the one for you" Ollivander explained as he signaled me to open the box.

When I opened the box, I was greeted with a wand unlike any I had seen in Harry Potter canon, yet it seemed familiar to me, like I had seen it before. Both ends of the wand had heads that didn't resemble any person or creature I could think of, the heads also had horns on the side of them. The main body of the wand had an intricate design that wrapped around the entire wand and was much wider than a normal wand. With a bit of trepidation, I picked up the wand.

As soon as it was in my hand, I felt an enormous burst of power flow through me, I could feel my magical getting stronger. I'm not sure what Ollivander saw from his eyes but even he could tell the wand was accepting me. "Wonderful Mr. Potter! I can say confidently that we can expect great things from you. This wand is the most powerful wand I've ever encountered, I found it in long ago during my travel around the world. For it to accept you, it must mean you are destined to be a powerful wizard.

"Thank you, sir!" I thanked him wholeheartedly. Not only was I not getting the wand with a connection to Voldemort but I also got this amazing wand.

I also asked him to provide a wand holster but he said he would have to send it via owl at a later time as he would need to make a custom holder for it. I told him that was fine with me and paid for the wand and the holster after which I made my way out of the store.

I wasn't sure how long I had stayed in the store but it was definitely a long time, yet the busyness of Diagon Alley had not changed. There were just as many people as before, if not more. In the large crowd I was able to make out one particularly person, because of how much he stood out of the crowd.

Rubeus Hagrid, was exiting Gringotts when I caught sight of him, he looked like how he did in the movies. I discreetly walked up behind and followed him as he made his way to what I recognised as the Leaky Cauldron. I made sure to continue being discreet as I pulled up to a table right behind Hagrid so I could hear his conversation with Tom the Barkeep, who looked how he did in the first movie. I didn't learn much from Hagrid except that he was on a mission from Hogwarts. I face-palmed when Hagrid casually told this to Tom, he was just as clueless as he was in canon. But at least I knew that things would progress similar to canon, as I assumed his mission was to get the Philosopher's stone from the vault.

Knowing I wasn't going to get much else from him, I decided to leave, I then had Nabel take me back home. As soon as I got home, I realized that I never went to look for Hedwig. Between the time spent getting my wand and seeing Hagrid I completely forgot about Hedwig. Well, I guess I made my decision regarding Hedwig by forgetting about her. Better for the owl I thought, considering how much danger she would have been in had I went and got her.

Chapter 5 - Journey to Hogwarts

After resolving my feeling towards Hedwig, I went to the training room that I had been using since I had arrived at Potter Manor. I started going through all the spells I had learned to compare the difference between my wandless magic and the magic with my new wand, the difference was staggering.

I started with the basic levitation spell, targeted at one of the practise dummies in the room. Not only had dummy levitated but so had everything else in the room. I gulped seeing all the objects levitating around me, I then cast a glance at the wand in my hand. I knew getting a wand was going to boost my power but this was absurd. I made a decision to find out more about this wand when I could, there had to be something very special about this wand.

I had one week before I had to leave for Hogwarts, so I made sure to spend everyday in the training room to get my power back under control. There was one very interesting that happened over the week. I was taking a break from spell casting and was mulling over the particularities of my wand when I started thinking about how much attention I would draw with such a unique looking wand and it adapted to my wishes as it transformed to look like a standard wand, although the intricate design of the wand stayed.

The day I had to leave for Hogwarts started off quite hilariously. The elves were very depressed when I came down for breakfast.

"What's wrong, why does you all look so depressed?" I asked them.

It was Tipsy who answered me desperately holding back tears "Master Harry, it's because we are sad to see you go. Even though you'll be back for the holidays, it still will be some time before we see you." I let out a gentle laugh at her response

"I'm touched you all care for me so much, but you don't have to be upset. Why don't you come with me to Hogwarts, weren't you all supposed to be working there anyway?" I asked them rhetorically.

All of us were quite taken back when Sebas face-palmed, he was usually the calmest and put together of all the elves. Seeing him lose his composure made all of us burst out laughing. The jubilant mood continued as the elves helped me finish packing. I then had Tipsy drop me off at the London train station and sent them to Hogwarts in advance. It had helped that not a single question had been raised about their disapperance from Hogwarts.

I could have had Tipsy drop me off at the Hogwarts platform but I wanted to experience going through the wall at least once. How many other times can you run right at a wall without breaking your face? I made sure to keep my scar covered with make-up so I wouldn't be recognized.

As I grew up, I realized I wasn't going to look like Daniel Radcliffe, I was actually looking like how I did in my old universe except a white version of me. Almost everything was the same except my skin colour and the colour of my eyes which were as green as the book described. Without the distinct scar, my eyes were the only thing that would give me away as Harry Potter as I didn't look like either James or Lily.

As I made my way to platform 9 & 3/4, I was feeling very excited. Despite knowing all the danger that was waiting for me from here on out, I was still looking forward to experiencing all the wonders of living in a world filled with magic. I had spent quite a few years cooped up in Potter Manor learning everything I could and now it was time to see if it was worth putting all that effort into it. I didn't see the Weasley family but that was probably because I was much earlier than canon Harry had been.

I made sure to arrive early primarily because I wanted to avoid meeting them. Through the books and the movies, I always thought that Dumbledore had the Weasley family ingratiate themselves with Harry as much as possible. I mean why would a wizard family need to use the muggle entrance. And even if there was only one entrance to Hogwarts station, you would think that Molly Weasley would remember the station number for a school she went to and has been sending every single one of her children to. In any case, I was going to make sure that nobody was manipulating me in any way.

When I got to the wall between platform 9 and 10, I sprinted right at it with no fear. I phased right through the wall and came out the other side on the Hogwarts platform. I was left a little underwhelmed as I expected to feel some soft of tingly sensation but it didn't feel like anything.

The platform was only partially busy as it was still early, so I was able to take in quite a bit of the station. It had the feel of a train station built in the early 20th century, giving credence to the fact that wizards had become frozen in time with regards to technology. I made my way into the station and found an empty compartment for myself. I levitated my suitcase on the shelf above with no effort at all, my wandless magic had also received a major boost after getting my wand. I pulled out a book I had kept on me to read as I waited for the train to depart.

The train departed about 45 minutes after I had found my compartment and we were about 2 hours into our journey. Ron Weasley had not showed up to my compartment furthering my belief that he purposefully looked for Harry's compartment in canon. Now that he didn't know how I looked, he probably didn't want to check every compartment without knowing who he is looking for. I was interrupted in my musing as I heard a knock on the door, did I speak to soon...?
