Chapter 3336 - Ch: 201-210

Chapter201-Advanced Permissions

Upon seeing the system prompt, Daniel blinked in surprise.

"Advanced permissions?"

"What does that even mean?"

Without hesitation, Daniel activated Eye of Insight, and instantly, the vague notion behind those words became crystal clear.

[With your elevated permissions, you may now directly influence the assignment of Void Tower missions.]

"Huh?"

His eyes narrowed slightly, a flicker of intrigue flashing through his gaze.

In the next moment, his figure vanished from the battlefield and appeared directly within the Void Tower.

A new interface materialized before him:

[Void Tower]

[Current Mission Mode: Random Assignment]

[Available Talent Advancements: Below S-Rank]

[Selectable Mission Types: Resource Gathering, Monster Subjugation, Labyrinth Mapping, Exploration...]

Seeing this, Daniel quickly understood the true meaning of his newfound authority.

He could now manually determine the types of missions issued to all awakeners—a massive shift in control and strategy.

After a brief look through the configuration menu, he already had a firm grasp on the mechanism.

With a few simple adjustments, Daniel reconfigured the entire mission queue—

Now, every mission was centered around one objective: slay Abyss creatures.

Shortly after the new mission settings took effect, awakeners currently on assignment suddenly saw a prompt flash before their eyes:

[A more suitable advancement mission has been detected. Would you like to replace your current mission?]

The prompt froze many of them in place.

"What? Advancement missions can be... replaced?"

Curiosity piqued, many opened their task menus—and what they saw shocked them:

Their new mission was to hunt Abyss monsters.

Which, coincidentally, was exactly what they were doing at this very moment.

"Wait, does this mean... if we switch missions, we can simultaneously protect human territory and complete our advancement goals!?"

Realization dawned, and their eyes lit up with fiery determination.

Without a second thought, awakeners across the front lines clicked "Accept."

What was once a fragmented effort—with only some awakeners having Abyss-focused missions—became a unified assault.

Now, everybody had the same goal: kill as many Abyss monsters as possible.

And that's when something truly absurd happened.

Awakeners began praying to New Life.

"Allied Guardian, could you maybe... slow down a little with the attacks? There aren't enough monsters for us to kill anymore!"

"Seriously! We're all banking on these kills to rank up our talents. Could you just take a short break?!"

As the master of New Life, Daniel, of course, saw the pleas flooding in.

And upon reading them, the corner of his mouth twitched involuntarily.

"A few minutes ago, you were all standing back watching. Now everyone's all fired up?"

"Tch. Greedy bastards..."

Still, he understood their motivations—profit was always the best motivator.

Under his control, the three New Life units gradually slowed the pace of their bombardments.

This gave more Abyss monsters a chance to reach the surface, and as they did, they were immediately met with an overwhelming counterattack from the human awakeners.

"Charge! It's our turn to rise to the top!!"

"Die, you Abyss bastards! Taste my blade!"

...

Across the global comms network, recruitment posts and party requests exploded in number.

After all, not everyone was an all-rounder like Daniel.

To maximize kill efficiency, coordination and teamwork were vital.

And nothing was more efficient than forming a squad.

"Healer wanted—join us and we'll carry you through the mission!"

"Need a tank! We can't hold the front line! Four girls are already crying from the pressure T﹏T!"

"Four girls?!! I'm Mejir, SSS-tier warrior! I'm on my way!"

...

Meanwhile, countless awakeners were still en route to the northern frontier of human territory.

To them, simply arriving at the Abyss gateway guaranteed they could complete their missions.

It was just a matter of how long it would take.

And for most, the promise of a 100% completion rate was simply too tempting to resist.

As more awakeners gathered, the Abyss creatures were pushed back further and further.

Some awakeners even began charging into the Abyss itself, breaking through the waves and taking the battle to the enemy's home turf.

The battlefield was now completely transformed.

...

Elsewhere, Daniel himself was still engaged in combat with multiple Seeds of Chaos.

But this time, he opted for a wide-area assault strategy.

Several of his clones attacked in unison, flanking the targets from multiple angles.

At just the right moment—[Phantom Slash].

Whenever a Seed of Chaos tried to retaliate, Daniel's clones vanished in a blink, evading the counterattack flawlessly.

With no target to strike, the monstrous bosses could only thrash about in rage, completely unable to land a single hit on him.

Comets of energy rained down from the sky, one after another.

Daniel appeared in yet another blind spot and unleashed another Phantom Slash, carving through massive chunks of their HP.

And this wasn't happening to just one boss.

Daniel was now strong enough to fight multiple Seeds of Chaos simultaneously.

The only reason they weren't instantly vaporized was due to their extremely thick HP pools.

But from Daniel's perspective, it was only a matter of time.

...

Far across the map, deep in Orc territory, Daniel launched another offensive—this time targeting another cluster of Seeds of Chaos.

To him, they were little more than punching bags now, unable to retaliate or defend themselves effectively.

Their HP bars plummeted.

This one-sided slaughter lasted nearly 20 minutes, and by the end of it, Daniel had already taken out two-thirds of the bosses.

As for the remaining third? He didn't bother.

He had no intention of doing everything alone.

After all, the awakeners from the myriad races were more than capable of finishing the job.

Letting them gain experience and reap some of the loot was hardly a problem.

The Seeds of Chaos were only threatening because of their domain abilities.

But with their domains neutralized, they were essentially downgraded to World-Rank bosses.

Perfect training targets for mid-tier assault teams.

And the rewards for killing them were, frankly, absurdly generous.

...

Back on the surface, Daniel took out his communicator.

He composed a single message and sent it to all his closest allies:

"I will be holding a gathering to discuss matters related to this Millennial Apocalypse."

"Please bring those you trust the most. The location is: City of the Artists."

The moment the message went out, the various rulers of the races—and even the most devout followers of the gods—fell into deep thought.

The implications of Daniel's strength had just become impossible to ignore.

They had witnessed his capabilities firsthand.

They had heard whispers of the Void Tower's miraculous effects.

And now... the entire world seemed to be shifting, like a massive wheel turning around a single axis.

That axis was Daniel.

And the world?

It was changing in his wake.

Chapter202-Puppet

Everyone treated Daniel's invitation with utmost seriousness.

After all, this was the critical moment of the Millennium Apocalypse. A meeting held at such a time could only mean that something of grave importance was about to be discussed. It was even possible that this meeting would shift the balance of power across the entire world.

By now, everyone was beginning to realize that after this meeting, Daniel might very well become the de facto leader of the world.

The Human Emperor glanced at his communicator and couldn't help but mutter to himself, "Daniel... are you finally making your move?"

He had long known that this day would come. It was inevitable.

But now that the day had actually arrived, he still found it a little hard to adjust emotionally. After all, it had only been two days since Daniel completed the Awakening Ceremony.

Yet those two days had felt like two hundred years!

After pushing these thoughts aside, the Human Emperor opened his contacts list.

In his friends list were many of the most powerful awakeners among the humans. But if he had to choose one representative to attend the council, it would be Martin.

Martin was not only the Pope of the Church, but also a mighty awakener.

In addition to Martin, the Human Emperor decided to call upon Pantheon from the Warrior Guild as well.

...

Within the Orc Clan's territory,

Ally had her eyes closed as she prayed devoutly to her god.

After a few moments, she began to mutter under her breath.

"I understand your will now, great Moon Goddess Luna. I shall follow it faithfully."

She opened her eyes again. At that moment, she noticed a flood of messages on her communicator.

The senders were none other than fellow god devotees—believers deeply connected to their divine patrons.

...

As Ally scrolled through the messages, a sudden realization struck her.

Under the pressure of the Millennium Apocalypse, many of the god devotees who normally concealed their identities had finally chosen to reveal themselves.

The Apocalypse was upon them, and it was now time for the god devotees to walk openly in the world.

...

In the demon lands,

The newly appointed Emperor of Demons was in the midst of launching an attack on the Seed of Chaos when he received Daniel's message.

Daniel was actually inviting him to the meeting?

It seemed the demon clan might have a chance to escape disaster this time.

Whether they could survive the Millennium Apocalypse... it all hinged on Daniel.

...

In a humble wooden cabin, Alice sat quietly.

Beside her was the Elven Queen, toying with her communicator.

If anyone else had been present, they would have been absolutely dumbfounded—perhaps even unable to shut their gaping mouths.

Because no one could have imagined that the lofty Elven Queen would share such a close and casual relationship with someone like Alice.

"Alice, I assume you received Daniel's invitation as well?"

"Yes," Alice replied. "I did. And I have a strong feeling this meeting won't be a simple one."

The Elven Queen nodded, a deep and thoughtful expression appearing on her face.

"May the great Crossbridge bless our elven kin... and this world."

...

Meanwhile, in the Blood Clan's territory,

Charlotte glanced at her communicator and immediately wore a pout of irritation.

"So annoying!"

"Can't I just get a little rest?"

...

At the same time,

In a hidden location known to few,

One of Daniel's clones stood, his expression somewhere between a smirk and a sneer, gazing at a demon before him.

This demon had already reached max level, yet even so, he trembled visibly under Daniel's gaze.

"Lord Daniel... isn't this a bit... extreme?" the demon asked hesitantly.

Daniel's voice was cold and emotionless as he cast a glance at him. "There's no need for you to think so much. Just do as I've instructed."

"But, Your Highness," the demon protested, "this kind of transformation causes severe damage to the body. Can we at least discuss the terms a bit?"

"There's nothing to discuss. I'm fully aware of the risks. Just follow the plan."

Hearing Daniel's flat response, the demon nodded slowly.

"In that case, I shall follow your will."

After speaking, he opened his spatial backpack and pulled out a uniquely shaped dagger.

This dagger radiated a bizarre aura—somehow carrying both light and dark energies at once.

The demon held the dagger in a trembling hand.

"There's no need to fear. Just proceed," Daniel instructed coolly.

Clenching his jaw, a flicker of ruthlessness flashed through the demon's eyes. Without hesitation, he brought the dagger crashing down toward Daniel's head!

This demon possessed an incredibly rare talent—the ability to turn living beings into puppets.

These puppets retained their life and consciousness, but their bodies were entirely subject to their master's will.

Ordinarily, such a talent would be considered utterly vile and unforgivable.

Most awakeners would call for the immediate execution of anyone using such skills—it was seen as a form of slavery of the highest order.

But Daniel had approached him with a very specific purpose in mind.

He wanted this demon to turn a portion of his clones into puppets—ones that Daniel himself would control.

The reason behind this was simple: he planned to venture into the Undead Lands.

The upgraded version of Grand Resurrection was so tempting that just thinking about it could make one's mouth water.

However, Daniel had never had the materials required to fully synthesize Grand Resurrection.

While a maxed-out Minor Resurrection could mimic its effects in some scenarios, only the true Grand Resurrection—fully enhanced—had the potential to bring back the entire gnome race.

This was currently Daniel's only hope.

Ever since discovering the existence of the Undead Lands, Daniel had dispatched numerous clones to scout every inch of intelligence surrounding it.

And what he eventually discovered stunned him—the Undead Lands existed within an isolated, independent dimension.

This led to a crucial problem: if Daniel were to enter that space, his clones in the outside world would lose connection and become inert.

If a crisis were to arise among the myriad races during that time, he would need to return instantly.

To reduce this risk, Daniel decided to have his clone bodies turned into powerful puppets.

Naturally, the demon was thrilled by this task.

Even though crafting such puppets would be immensely difficult and time-consuming, the demon had an obsession with puppet-making that defied understanding.

Especially when the puppet material was a clone of someone like Daniel—his excitement was off the charts.

In just one hour, the demon had successfully crafted six puppets.

Daniel tested his control over them and found it to be as smooth and seamless as before.

Then, he severed his direct control. The puppets stood motionless in place, like statues awaiting activation.

Without wasting any more time, Daniel issued his orders.

"Explore the unknown regions of this world and protect the races that inhabit it."

"Respond to the Millennium Apocalypse with all your strength. If the Human Emperor sends any urgent reports, relay them to me immediately."

...

With each command issued, the puppets acknowledged silently.

Then, as if on cue, they activated the [Flashback] ability and vanished one after another—rushing toward their designated missions.

Chapter203-Kalthor

Seeing how effective the puppets were, Daniel nodded in satisfaction.

Unlike his clones, puppets came with a unique advantage—they could faithfully carry out commands and operate autonomously without needing constant supervision. Even if Daniel severed the mind power connection between them, these puppets would continue to execute the tasks they'd been given without hesitation.

Once he had confirmed that the puppets were functioning perfectly, Daniel casually reached out and grabbed the demon standing beside him—then proceeded to wipe all related memories from his mind.

...

With a flicker of light, Daniel's figure disappeared and reappeared in a desolate, barren land.

Kalthor, I've come for you.

As Daniel stepped onto a weathered altar and spoke those words aloud, the entire structure began to tremble.

Tracking down information on Kalthor had been a trivial task for Daniel at this point. He merely issued a casual command, and within minutes, a comprehensive intelligence report was delivered to him.

This altar—now rumbling beneath his feet—had been one of the leads mentioned in that report.

Now that he had confirmed the altar's identity, Daniel released the seal that had obscured Kalthor from his [Mist] ability.

And the response was immediate.

In the blink of an eye, Kalthor sensed Daniel's presence.

A tremendous aura erupted from within the altar, flooding the surroundings with dread. The tremors intensified, and suddenly, gouts of fresh blood began to bubble up from beneath the ground.

"You damn human! I remember you! You're the one who stole my blood!" a voice roared from below.

Kalthor's fury echoed across the land.

But Daniel merely gave a mocking smirk.

"Yes, that was me. So what?" he replied with a tone of absolute arrogance.

"I swear I'll kill you!" Kalthor bellowed once more. The entire altar seemed on the verge of collapse from the sheer intensity of his rage.

Thick blood vaporized into the air, transforming into black mist that began to surround Daniel. The cursed fog drained one billion HP from him every second.

But Daniel didn't even blink.

With his health already in the trillions, and his body protected by layers of unbreakable shields, the black mist didn't even leave a scratch. It was like trying to cut steel with a paper blade.

Still, Daniel took Kalthor very seriously.

From what he had gathered, this entity was no ordinary being.

Kalthor might be a god—albeit an incomplete or fragmented one. Even though he hadn't yet fully resurrected, his influence was still powerful enough to inflict considerable damage.

Granted, that "damage" was laughable to Daniel. But if it had been any other awakener, even a high-tier one, they would've been overwhelmed in seconds.

"Kalthor," Daniel said calmly, "do you want to be resurrected?"

At that, Kalthor went silent.

The black mist around Daniel began to slowly fade.

To be honest, Kalthor didn't trust any human to offer help out of kindness. That was simply against everything he believed.

But after being sealed in this altar for so long, after enduring endless ages of isolation, Kalthor was desperate. He wanted nothing more than to be free—even if it meant making a deal with someone like Daniel.

After a few moments of internal conflict, Kalthor sent back a pulse of uncertain mind power.

"You're really going to resurrect me?"

"I can resurrect you, yes," Daniel replied. "But I want to make a deal."

He paused before continuing in a firm voice, "The Millennium Apocalypse is upon us. If you agree to stand alongside the myriad races of this world and face it with us, I'll bring you back."

There was another pause. Kalthor fell into deeper silence.

Daniel, unbothered, turned away slightly and added, "If you refuse, that's fine too."

"You're a special kind of existence. Honestly, I'm not too eager to take the risk of letting you out. The consequences could be... troublesome."

Having said his piece, Daniel turned around as if to leave.

But just before he could walk away, a new pulse of mind power burst out from the altar.

"Wait—don't go. I'm willing to make a deal. If you bring me back, I'll fight for the races."

"To be honest," Kalthor continued, "the only thing I'm missing for resurrection is ten drops of divine blood. The same ten drops... that you took from me."

"If you return them, I can perform the ritual. I'll even sign a contract with you."

Daniel's lips twitched, struggling to suppress a triumphant smile.

But he forced it down. He had to maintain the appearance of naïveté and innocence.

"Really? You're not tricking me, are you?" he asked, feigning uncertainty.

Kalthor sent back another firm wave of mind power.

"I would never lie about something like this. You may not realize it, but I am a being of supreme majesty."

"Enough talk. Time is short. I'll teach you how to carve the resurrection sigil right now."

"Once the formation is ready, offer up the ten drops of divine blood as a sacrifice. As soon as I return to this world, I'll aid you in resisting the Millennium Apocalypse."

Even beings as mighty as Kalthor, beings that skirted the very edges of divinity, still clung to their instinctive desire to live.

Freedom was everything.

And this was the only chance he'd had in eons.

So Kalthor gave it his all.

What he didn't know, however, was that Daniel had his own reasons.

Daniel was not reviving Kalthor out of goodwill.

He was after Kalthor's soul—a complete, intact, powerful soul. Reviving him was just a means to an end. Once Kalthor returned, Daniel intended to kill him himself and extract it.

That soul was the true goal of this entire operation.

And as for cooperating with Kalthor?

Yeah—Daniel had absolutely no plans for that.

"Alright then," Daniel said, his tone light and agreeable.

From his spatial backpack, he drew out two simple contract scrolls.

The terms of the agreement were extremely basic: Kalthor would help the human race resist the Millennium Apocalypse.

That was all.

Kalthor was stunned when he read it.

He never imagined the human in front of him could be persuaded so easily.

The contract was full of loopholes—a literal net of gaps and vagueness. It didn't even stipulate what "help" meant. For all Kalthor cared, shouting a few curses at the Apocalypse might count as fulfilling the terms.

Worse yet, it was a standard magical contract. For someone of Kalthor's caliber—almost a god—it was meaningless. Such contracts had no binding power over him.

Still, Kalthor was no fool.

A deal that favored him so heavily? Why not take it?

He didn't even bother to hide his glee. This was a clear win.

What he failed to notice, though, was the subtle curve forming at the corner of Daniel's lips.

Kalthor thought he was dealing with a clueless youth. An innocent. Someone easily fooled.

What he didn't know was that Daniel had already marked his soul.

The moment Daniel resurrected him, Kalthor would become his prey.

And once slain—his soul would be harvested whole.

This was no alliance.

This was a trap.

Chapter204-Resurrection Ritual

Faced with someone as "naïve" as Daniel, Kalthor began weaving his web of temptation.

"O human," Kalthor declared grandly, "for the great deed of resurrecting me, I am willing to make you my chosen."

"Whatever you desire, I can give it to you. Once I am revived, I will help you ascend the throne of the Human Emperor."

"This Millennium Apocalypse? It's nothing to be afraid of. After it's over, I will make you the supreme ruler of this world!"

"Just imagine it—the other races crawling at your feet, while you stand alone at the pinnacle of power!"

"So, what do you say, my friend? Aren't you excited about such a glorious future?"

Of course, not even in his wildest imagination would Kalthor have guessed that everything he promised had already become reality. Daniel had long since surpassed what Kalthor was offering.

At this point, the only thing Daniel truly desired... was Kalthor's soul.

Despite the stream of extravagant promises, Daniel simply smiled politely.

"Yes, that all sounds like what I've been looking for. Now, please—tell me what I need to do."

Without delay, Kalthor shared the details of the resurrection process.

However, a slight disagreement arose between the two regarding the location of the ritual.

Kalthor insisted on being revived within his own Divine Temple.

Daniel, however, cited a lack of materials and firmly insisted on using a location of his choosing. Kalthor, though reluctant, had no choice but to agree—after all, Daniel was his only hope for returning to life.

Behind the scenes, Kalthor was also trying to reach his divine chosen—his devout followers—but, oddly enough, he was unable to contact a single one of them.

Still, he had no better option.

And besides, he had absolute faith in his own strength. As long as Daniel could safely stand in a certain place, then surely Kalthor himself would be safe there too.

Once the details were finalized, Daniel disappeared in a flash and reappeared in the Abyss.

He had decided to conduct the resurrection ritual within the Abyss itself. As for the required materials, he could gather everything he needed right on site.

A single order from him, and the necessary ingredients would be delivered without delay.

With the help of several clones, the resurrection array was quickly constructed.

When the time came to perform the ritual, Daniel made a calculated choice: he used replica versions of divine blood for the sacrifice.

These replicas, however, had been modified.

Mixed into them were impurities—traces of Abyssal corruption, potent toxins, and other carefully chosen pollutants.

On the other side, Kalthor sensed all of this—but simply sneered in his mind.

"So this is the human's little trick?"

"These lesser beings always resort to underhanded schemes and petty tricks."

He was utterly convinced of his superiority.

In Kalthor's eyes, Daniel was nothing more than a lowly insect. That such a creature dared try to deceive him was almost laughable.

Still, what did it matter?

No trick, no poison, no corruption could possibly affect someone of Kalthor's level.

The Abyss was nothing but a pit of mud to him.

He could feel the enormous energy building within the resurrection array.

And at the same time, scattered across the world, fragments of his once-mighty body began to glow with divine light.

One by one, the severed limbs and broken remains started to vanish from where they lay and reappear above the array.

Then came a truly awe-inspiring sight.

Those decayed, ruined body parts began fusing together—slowly, steadily reforming into a complete, whole body.

A terrifying aura began to emanate from the ritual circle.

The Abyssal Emperor Malkar sensed the disturbance and appeared beside Daniel almost immediately.

But the moment his gaze fell on the ritual, he froze in disbelief.

"My friend... what are you doing?" Malkar asked, voice tinged with unease.

Daniel responded in an offhand, dismissive tone.

"Just a resurrection ritual."

He no longer had to be cautious around Malkar. In fact, his current strength far surpassed the Abyssal Emperor's.

So he didn't even bother to explain further.

But from Malkar's perspective, this was no ordinary resurrection.

No—this was the awakening of something monstrous.

It reminded him of those terrifying entities from a thousand years ago... beings who had nearly become gods, only to be struck down at the final moment.

They had been horrifically powerful—not just strong, but apocalyptic.

Even Malkar, mighty as he was, couldn't suppress a shiver at the thought.

Of course, the Malkar of a thousand years ago had been far weaker than he was now.

Even so, he didn't dare move forward.

The ritual was already complete, and the being at its center was almost fully restored. Trying to stop it now was too late—pointless.

From the heart of the array, an overwhelming pressure exploded outward, shaking the entirety of the Abyss.

"Resurrect!"

With a low, rumbling voice, Kalthor's form materialized at the center of the ritual.

A surge of blood-like aura rushed outward, instantly engulfing both Daniel and Malkar.

Standing before Daniel was now the fully restored Kalthor.

[Kalthor]

[Level: 300]

[Class: Unique]

...

As soon as he regained consciousness, Kalthor realized he was in the Abyss.

Off to the side, Malkar's vines were trembling uncontrollably.

Seeing the fear etched across Malkar's face, Daniel couldn't help but chuckle softly.

"My friend," he asked lightly, "what are you so afraid of?"

In truth, Malkar felt a deep, instinctive fear toward Kalthor.

A thousand years ago, they had encountered one another—and Malkar had barely escaped with his life.

He might be nearly immortal, but nearly immortal was not the same as invincible.

Kalthor had nearly erased him from existence.

Now, with Kalthor standing tall again, Malkar's entire being screamed danger.

It was then that Kalthor finally spoke.

"Human... since you were the one who brought me back, I won't kill you."

"And that—" his tone sharpened, "—is the last bit of mercy you'll receive from me."

With those words, his eyes swept disdainfully across the Abyss.

"But I will make sure you live long enough to watch as this world is reduced to ashes at my hand."

"Pitiful, shameless little insect—remember this: it was because of you that this world will perish."

"You'll live the rest of your life in agony... with that truth."

Chapter205-The Frustrated Fake God

As expected, the moment Kalthor was resurrected, his attitude toward Daniel took a sharp 180-degree turn.

But Daniel's expression didn't change at all. He simply posed a calm question.

"Can you tell me why your kind seeks to destroy this world?"

Daniel's reasoning was simple—he wanted to uncover the truth behind the arrival of the Millennium Apocalypse. So far, Kalthor was the only Apocalypse-class entity he had encountered who could actually speak and communicate. Naturally, Daniel wasn't about to let this rare opportunity slip away.

Kalthor, however, looked momentarily puzzled by the question. After a brief pause, he responded slowly.

"You don't understand. The reason we were born... is to destroy this world. That is our inherent purpose—our divine mission."

"Destruction and New Life often go hand in hand. Our existence is not a mistake; it is part of the natural order."

Upon hearing this, Daniel came to a grim realization.

When it came to the Millennium Apocalypse, there was never any hope for negotiation. Whether humans or the other races, none of them could reason with these entities. Their very nature was built around annihilation—just like the Artists who had gone mad. Those beings lived entirely within their own twisted logic. Reason, compromise, or coexistence—none of that applied.

Suddenly, a strange clicking noise echoed in Kalthor's mind. It sounded like the ticking of a clock.

He instinctively released his mind power to scan the surroundings.

To his shock, a massive capsule had appeared nearby, its surface smooth and unmarked. But under the probing of his mind power, Kalthor immediately sensed what lay within.

A Primordial Core Weapon!

Kalthor's expression darkened instantly.

He was no stranger to the Artists. In fact, he had once collaborated with them. So he recognized a Primordial Core Weapon at a glance.

But this raised a terrifying question—weren't these weapons the pride of the Artists? What were they doing in Daniel's hands?

And worse still, this wasn't just a single weapon...

In a sudden jolt of horror, Kalthor realized that there were fifty Primordial Core Weapons floating around him!

On the other side, the Abyssal Emperor Malkar wasted no time. The moment he sensed the array of weapons, he activated his royal authority and bolted.

He knew full well what kind of destruction those weapons were capable of. Staying here? That would be suicide.

At last, it all made sense to him—Daniel's plan from the start.

Yes, Kalthor was incredibly powerful.

But in front of this madman—Daniel—even a godlike being had no hope of survival.

Fifty Primordial Core Weapons? Even an actual god would break into a cold sweat facing that.

"It's time we said goodbye," Daniel said with a harmless smile. He looked at Kalthor and snapped his fingers.

That sunny, innocent smile drove Kalthor into a rage.

He had been fooled—tricked in the worst possible way.

Everything Daniel had said before, every word about cooperation and revival—it had all been a lie.

He had underestimated this so-called "insect" far too much.

"You damned ant!" Kalthor roared.

But before he could say more, the fifty Primordial Core Weapons detonated simultaneously.

A massive explosion erupted, unleashing a wave of destruction so vast it instantly shredded Kalthor's newly restored body into thousands of pieces.

Kalthor was indeed strong—but being strong didn't mean invincible.

After all, he'd been killed once already a thousand years ago.

And under the combined force of fifty simultaneous Primordial Core Weapon detonations, his HP bar dropped to zero almost instantly.

However, just as Daniel was preparing to collect the soul...

An unexpected twist occurred.

Kalthor's mangled remains suddenly began glowing with a dark aura. His entire body radiated with shadowy light—he had entered some kind of invulnerability state.

When he opened his eyes again, the hatred in his gaze could've incinerated mountains.

"You damned insect! Did you really think something like this could kill me? How naïve! Do you have any idea that I—"

Before he could finish his sentence, another fifty Primordial Core Weapons appeared around him.

Daniel had no intention of listening to his monologue. Instead, he calmly initiated another round of overwhelming bombardment.

Kalthor's mind went blank.

What?! Another fifty?

How does he have so many of them?!

These weren't ordinary weapons. Even among the Artists, crafting a single one was a monumental undertaking.

Had the Artists... allied with the humans?

That thought chilled Kalthor to his core.

He stood there frozen, unable to process what he was seeing. No matter how he thought about it, he couldn't comprehend how this tiny human had gotten his hands on such a devastating arsenal.

But Daniel gave him no time to think.

The Primordial Core Weapons detonated again. This time even more violently. No delays, no breathing room—just relentless destruction.

The explosions shook the entire Abyss.

Elsewhere, inside his palace, Sarko sat trembling, muttering prayers under his breath.

"Great Lord Crossbridge, please protect me..."

For most ordinary Abyssal creatures, their HP had a hard cap. If even a fragment of the explosion reached them, it could easily mean instant death.

The terrifying roar of the detonations never stopped.

Daniel, meanwhile, stood calmly at the edge of the battlefield, activating a skill: [Soul Drain].

It was a simple, unassuming ability he had picked up somewhere—it allowed him to harvest the soul of any being that died nearby.

And in the world of the myriad races...

The followers of Kalthor all saw a blindingly bright system message appear before them:

[Kalthor, Resurrection Ritual Complete]

[Kalthor has been successfully resurrected]

Upon seeing the message, the Favored—the devout believers of Kalthor—were instantly overwhelmed with joy.

"Oh, Great Life! You've finally returned! We are saved!"

As a powerful being, Kalthor had accumulated a vast number of followers. His resurrection filled them with renewed hope.

Especially in recent times, as Daniel's presence and growing power had cast a dark shadow over them.

Before the rise of the Infinite Divine Temple, these believers had thrived. Their faith in Kalthor had rapidly elevated their strength. Among awakeners of similar rank, they were often unmatched.

But now, everything had changed.

Those who followed the Infinite Divine Temple could crush them with ease.

Chapter206-Goddess of Gold & Silver

Across the entire world,

the Favored had completely become the street rats that everyone wanted to beat down.

They had no choice but to hide and scrape by in secret, barely surviving to this day.

In fact, many of the Favored had already begun questioning whether they should change their faith.

After all, having believed in a Fake God like Kalthor, they had indeed gained significant power at a great cost.

Under normal circumstances, they were capable of crushing other Awakeners of the same level with ease.

But the issue was that the Infinite Divine Temple now provided even stronger buffs and blessings—

and the most crucial point was that all it required was faith.

No sacrifice, no exchange of essence, no soul-binding contracts. Just belief.

When you compared the two side by side, the superior choice was obvious.

Only a fool would still choose to stick with the Favored.

Why cling to something that costs you dearly and returns so little?

Unless someone had a door slam their head shut, who in their right mind would still remain loyal to that path?

It was all pain with no reward. Did they really think people were idiots?

So, among the Favored, the majority had already renounced their old beliefs and embraced a new life.

Only the most devout, the fanatically faithful, still lingered in the dark,

trembling in the corners of the world, spending their days praying and hiding in fear.

But what they hadn't expected—was that today, that long-awaited day would finally arrive.

The great Kalthor had resurrected!

As they cheered in joy, ready to welcome back this god-like existence—

A new notification appeared right before their eyes.

[Human Daniel has slain Kalthor.]

When they saw this message, those pious Favored were stunned into silence.

They couldn't believe it—couldn't even begin to process how things had turned out this way.

The great Kalthor had only just returned from the void.

How could he be killed in the blink of an eye by someone like Daniel?

And it wasn't just anyone—this was Kalthor!

An entity so close to godhood that even mentioning his name used to make people tremble.

How could Daniel possibly kill him?

Every single Favored stared blankly, eyes full of disbelief and confusion.

They had no idea what to do next. They didn't even know which direction their future was supposed to take.

From heaven to hell—sometimes it took only a second.

By instinct alone, many of the Favored didn't want to believe it.

They wanted to deny reality, to turn away from this truth.

But whether they believed it or not—this was reality.

It had already happened.

What on earth had just occurred?

What exactly had Daniel done?

Meanwhile, deep within the abyss, Daniel stood calmly before the shattered remains of corpses.

These were Kalthor's remains.

Perhaps they could be refined into rare materials.

Without hesitation, Daniel activated [Gather] and [Soul Drain], collecting Kalthor's entire soul into a single vessel.

A divine soul—now wholly his.

Artist City

In the vibrant, multicultural capital known as Artist City,

a young woman named Ally stepped into a quaint café.

Thanks to the efforts of powerhouses from all races,

Artist City had become one of the most luxurious cosmopolitan centers in the multiverse.

"Ally, it's been a long time."

Upon hearing that voice, Ally instinctively turned around.

"We finally meet again."

"Yeah... it's not easy, you know. The gods strictly forbade us from appearing in public. There was nothing I could do!"

As they chatted idly, more and more people quietly entered the city.

They were all god devotees—faithful followers of different gods who had been hiding for years.

Even Ally didn't know their whereabouts before this.

"So, after all these years... have any of you improved your strength?" Ally asked curiously.

A burly man among them answered,

"Our god values potential more than raw strength. I'm average in terms of potential, so my ranking has never really changed."

God devotees weren't limited to the few Daniel had encountered before.

In fact, every god had a team of at least a dozen devotees beneath them.

These forces usually remained dormant, hidden away from the world,

only reemerging during cataclysmic events like the millennial Apocalypse.

Right then, another figure appeared—Charles.

As always, he wore an ostentatious formal outfit, radiating a flamboyant and somewhat peculiar charisma.

"My, my! I'm terribly late. Please accept my apologies."

"By the way, Ally, is everyone here yet?" he asked with a grin.

Ally glanced at him, eyes filled with subtle suspicion.

"How would I know? Don't ask me."

"Oh come on, why are you still so wary of me? That last time was just a harmless prank,"

Charles chuckled as he turned to greet the others warmly.

"Long time no see, everyone. If any of you are in need of goods, you know where to find me.

Since we're friends, I'll even give you a discount!"

But the other god devotees all scoffed at his words.

After all, no one knew better than they did just what kind of person Charles really was.

They'd all been duped by him one way or another over the years.

Not a single word that came out of his mouth was worth believing.

Still, in truth—this might be the only time in the past thousand years

that all the god devotees had gathered together in one place.

And it was all because of one person: Daniel.

Suddenly, a new voice echoed through the room—a voice laced with seductive charm,

so much so that just hearing it made one feel parched and breathless.

"Charles... I heard your little plan failed."

"You probably didn't expect Artist City to fall into Daniel's hands, did you?"

"And as for your god's wishes... I suppose they were in vain. Daniel didn't become one of your devotees after all."

Charles merely smiled at her words.

"Isabella, long time no see. But tell me—what makes you so sure our plan failed?"

"Isn't it possible that everything has gone exactly as the Luck Goddess intended?"

"The powers of gods are vast and inscrutable. What we see may only be the surface."

"But let's not bicker. I imagine we all gathered here today for more than just arguments."

"If no one objects, I suggest we exchange intelligence first."

"If I'm not mistaken, this millennial Apocalypse originates from Aurelia, doesn't it?"

As Charles finished speaking, he slowly raised his head toward the sky.

The shattered heavens, the swirling silver energy—all unmistakable signs of her descent.

On the other side, Ally stretched lazily like a cat and replied with a sigh:

"That's right. The Goddess of Gold & Silver—Aurelia.

She's trying to descend upon this world.

And according to the Moon Goddess, our task is to stop her."

"Who would've thought that the very goddess who appeared to be resisting the Apocalypse,

turns out to be the core disaster of this Apocalypse herself?"

After she said this, nearly all the god devotees present instinctively nodded in agreement.

Their intelligence had been eerily similar.

Chapter207-Higher Races

"Now then, let's get to the real substance,"

Charles tapped the table, and his previously lazy expression instantly turned serious.

"According to the latest intelligence I've obtained, a higher race known as the Angels of Gold and Silver will descend upon our world through this Millennial Apocalypse."

"These Angels are under the divine protection of Aurelia—hence their audacity and fearlessness. The current situation is that we simply don't have the strength to face them head-on. So we must enlist Daniel's help."

At that very moment, not far from them, in the Council Center of Artist City—

A massive gathering of powerful individuals from across the myriad races had already formed.

One could say that the strongest elites of the entire continent were now concentrated in Artist City.

And beyond just god devotees and warriors from the major races, Daniel had even extended invitations to several neutral species.

However, when it came to the abyss, Daniel had chosen not to send any summons.

For a time, Artist City once again became the focal point of the world's attention.

Most believed that Artist City was a city shared equally among all races.

Everyone knew that in this place, no one held a true home-field advantage.

That said, Daniel was now serving as the city's official mayor.

In truth, Artist City had become Daniel's personal dominion—

and had no real affiliation with the broader Human race.

Even the Human Emperor Odin had no jurisdiction here.

Inside the Parliament Hall,

powerhouses of all races were already seated and gathered.

Daniel's figure appeared within the chamber as well.

Everyone present knew that Daniel possessed multiple avatars and manifestations.

It wasn't a secret.

But even knowing that, no one was bothered by it.

Given his strength—and his absurd rate of growth—a few clones were nothing to fuss over.

The first to arrive, the powerhouses of the myriad races, sat quietly in their respective seats,

waiting for everyone to arrive so the meeting could begin.

After all, everyone understood just how important this summit truly was.

While they waited, some familiar figures took the opportunity to exchange polite small talk.

Human Emperor Odin sat at his designated place, casting a glance toward the nearby Emperor of Demon.

"Well, well... Who would've thought? You've become the ruler of the demon clan.

If I recall correctly, the last time we met must've been... five centuries ago?"

"That's right. It has been far too long."

"Honestly, becoming the Demon Emperor was more of an accident. It's because His Highness Daniel saw something in me..."

Odin laughed. "Hah. Last time we fought, we both ended up badly injured, and neither of us claimed victory.

If there's an opportunity during this Apocalypse, how about a rematch?"

"Haha! Seems like you're still unwilling to admit defeat. I clearly won last time—you just won't accept it."

The reality was, many of the individuals present had past grievances or old alliances with one another.

After all, those capable of reaching the very peak of the world in the last thousand years...

were almost exclusively seated here in this very room.

In the underground labyrinths, in battles against World Rank bosses—

they had crossed paths countless times.

But regardless of personal history, every single person here understood one crucial truth:

No matter how deep their grudges, no matter how long-standing their rivalries,

even if their races were mortal enemies—

Now was the time to set everything aside.

Because in the face of the Millennial Apocalypse,

if they didn't unite internally, they would all be destroyed together.

So at a moment like this—

anyone who dared stir up trouble would be crushed by the united forces of all races.

Eventually, even a representative of the gnome race, Pixis, arrived at the assembly.

Of course, the times had changed. The gnome race no longer held the prestige they once did.

As a result, Pixis was seated farther from the center of the hall.

Still, receiving an invitation to this council was a great honor in itself.

It symbolized that the gnome race had once again earned recognition from His Highness Daniel—

and no longer needed to depend on other species for survival.

Daniel had already resurrected all of the gnome race's top-tier warriors.

Among old friends and allies, some races with good relations with the gnomes even came forward to offer their condolences.

"We're deeply sorry for the misfortune that has befallen your people,"

a representative of the Orc clan said to Pixis.

"Though we may be unable to help much now, once this Apocalypse passes,

we will provide the gnomes with some essential resource support."

Everyone had witnessed the devastating power of the Primordial Core Weapon.

Even the mighty gnome race couldn't survive a single strike from it.

What made it worse—was that the attack had come from within Artist itself,

without any prior warning.

Even with their great strength, the gnomes had no time to react.

Had they been prepared, perhaps they wouldn't have suffered such catastrophic losses.

Pixis gave a solemn nod. He was now the leader of the gnome race.

The previous chief stood beside him.

Not because Pixis had sought leadership,

but because the former chief believed he bore full responsibility for the gnome race's tragedy.

He had sworn to spend the rest of his life seeking vengeance for his people.

As for the goodwill from the Orc clan, Pixis did not reject it.

"Thank you. The gnome race will remember your kindness," he said.

"But before anything else, we must discuss how to confront the incoming threat.

The Millennial Apocalypse has already begun.

I do not wish to see any other race suffer the same fate as ours."

"By the way, what exactly is His Highness Daniel's purpose in gathering us here?"

As some of the powerhouses idly chatted—

A sudden notification appeared before their eyes.

[Fake God Kalthor — Has Been Resurrected]

The moment they saw that message,

the expressions of the entire assembly darkened.

Because they all knew—

exactly how powerful Kalthor truly was.

In the last Millennial Apocalypse,

Kalthor had been the primary threat.

Even Human Emperor Odin couldn't hide his reaction.

Upon seeing the name "Kalthor," his entire body began to tremble.

Almost instinctively, he prepared to trigger a Level-1 emergency alert.

But just then, Daniel, who had remained silent all this time, finally spoke.

"Everyone, remain calm. That thing's already been taken care of by me."

The moment his voice fell—

a heavy, unnatural silence swept through the hall.

The kind of silence that made one's skin crawl.

And right then—

another notification appeared before everyone's eyes.

[Human Daniel has slain Kalthor]

This time, the entire room fell into complete and absolute silence.

Every powerhouse present—

They had already believed they were overestimating Daniel's capabilities.

They thought they had accounted for every possible variable.

And yet, reality once again surpassed their imagination.

Chapter208-The Meeting Begins

In the depths of the Abyss, Daniel had already stored Kalthor's soul into his inventory space.

Now, it was time to head toward the Undead Lands.

But beyond that, Daniel had also reaped several unexpected gains.

Kalthor possessed extensive knowledge related to resurrection—so vast, in fact, that his research even surpassed that of the Artists. Whether it was resurrection arrays, resurrection skills, or even the underlying principles behind them, these discoveries were of immense value not just to Daniel, but to the entire human race.

Without hesitation, Daniel claimed all of it for himself.

Among the loot was a particular item:

[Resurrection Stone (Consumable)]

The effect of this item was simple: it could revive one person instantly.

Aside from that, Daniel also collected Kalthor's physical remains.

After all, a body that once belonged to a Fake God was a highly valuable resource in certain fields.

Take alchemy, for example. It was entirely feasible to modify Kalthor's corpse into a massive alchemical construct.

However, Daniel hadn't delved too deeply into the study of alchemy.

It was simply too time-consuming, and Daniel didn't have that kind of time to spare.

Still, across all races, alchemy was universally recognized as a highly valuable area of research.

The gnome race had once led the field in alchemical studies, which is how they managed to invent devices like the gnome communicator.

But the gnome race had since perished, causing a general regression in the field of alchemy.

Fortunately, the material brought back by the Artists filled in much of that lost knowledge.

Nowadays, many powerful warriors and scholars among the human race had immersed themselves in the pursuit of alchemical knowledge.

Though time-consuming, alchemy offered extremely generous returns.

To put it plainly: if Kalthor's corpse were handed over to a true master alchemist, the resulting creation could very well surpass Kalthor's original power.

Of course, that was only theoretical. In practice, crafting such an alchemical construct would require extensive preparation—and perhaps a bit of luck.

Regardless, these materials were undoubtedly valuable, and that was all that mattered.

With that in mind, Daniel activated Flashback and vanished from his original spot.

Only after he had gone did the Emperor of the Abyss, Malkar, carefully poke his head out from hiding.

The scene before him was beyond comprehension. He never imagined Daniel's strength had reached such terrifying heights.

Reviving a Fake God just to kill him for materials?

Malkar's worldview was utterly shattered.

Had the humans truly become this powerful? Could they really revive a Fake God on a whim and then slaughter it for resources?

At that moment, Emperor Malkar finally understood what the Abyss meant to the human race.

To them, wasn't the Abyss essentially just a garbage dump?

And once he realized that, Malkar oddly found himself relaxing.

After all, under normal circumstances, who would willingly dive into a trash heap?

That explained why so few humans ever came to explore the Abyss.

Malkar's eyes suddenly lit up.

Everything was beginning to make sense now.

Back during the last Millennium Apocalypse, perhaps Kalthor had fled to the Abyss after witnessing the rising might of the humans.

The more Malkar thought about it, the more he felt an immense reverence for humanity's growing power.

It was probably for the best to simply stay inside the Abyss from now on—the outside world had become far too dangerous.

...

After dealing with Kalthor, Daniel's figure reappeared in the City of Artists.

The moment he arrived, all the gathered powerhouses stood up simultaneously to show their respect.

At that same time, the god devotees entered the parliamentary hall.

Representatives from every major race were present. In this hall, only the absolute peak forces were qualified to take a seat.

"Well, what a lively gathering."

A lazy voice echoed throughout the hall, drawing everyone's attention.

It was Charles.

Everyone recognized him—a known devotee of the gods. During the last Millennium Apocalypse, he had even cooperated with them on several occasions.

But once that catastrophe had passed, these enigmatic god devotees vanished without a trace.

It now seemed clear they had other tasks to attend to.

And with the latest Apocalypse descending, these mysterious devotees had once again reemerged.

"Why are you all attending this meeting?" one of the elite warriors questioned, clearly skeptical of the god devotees' presence.

But the devotees remained calm as they responded.

"We're here because we were guided by the gods. They told us this meeting would be of utmost importance."

"And at this point, there's no need for us to hide our identities anymore."

After that declaration, all the god devotees turned their eyes toward Daniel.

"Our gods would like to meet the one behind you. They're quite intrigued by this new god who has appeared—after all, it's been a long time since a true god emerged in this world."

Hearing this, Daniel simply smiled and gave a nod.

"I'll relay your request to Lord Crossbridge."

Compared to how he usually treated others, Daniel was noticeably more cordial toward these god devotees. After all, they had the gods behind them.

Whereas Daniel—truthfully—had nothing at his back.

A few moments later, Daniel stood in the center of the grand assembly hall.

"Since everyone's here, let's skip the small talk and get straight to the point."

The moment he spoke, the entire room fell silent.

Such was Daniel's command that even the most prideful warlords didn't dare to interrupt.

Off to the side, the Human Emperor's lips twitched slightly.

He had never imagined that Daniel's prestige had already reached such terrifying levels.

And just then, Daniel turned and spoke again:

"Alice, Charlotte—sit beside me."

The two women were stunned for a moment, but then quickly understood what he meant and walked over to take their seats next to him.

Following their lead, the other god devotees also took their seats.

Both Alice and Charlotte felt incredibly self-conscious as they sat beside Daniel.

Even the sovereigns of their respective races had to sit much farther back.

Yet now, because of Daniel, they occupied seats that didn't belong to them by right.

From their positions in the hall, the elven queen and the blood clan empress noticed Alice and Charlotte's new placements and exchanged a meaningful glance.

Perhaps... the time had come for the elves and blood clan to rise once more.

Chapter209-Self-Introduction

Inside the grand assembly hall, all eyes were fixed on Daniel.

He simply smiled and began to speak.

"There are a few friends here I'm meeting for the first time, so you may not recognize me yet," he said calmly.

"Let me briefly introduce myself. I'm Daniel, from the human race."

The moment he said that, several corners of the room twitched awkwardly.

Was this a joke?

How could they not recognize Daniel?

In this world, was there anyone left who didn't know who he was?

They might not know who the Human Emperor was—

but Daniel?

Impossible.

Daniel had already displayed power far beyond their imagination.

He was a walking legend.

But even so, no one interrupted him. They all quietly listened.

"Right now, I suppose I've become the ruler among each of your races," Daniel continued casually.

"After all, I have territory within nearly all of your lands."

"Oh, and I also built the Infinite Divine Temple.

If I'm being honest, I'd say I'm probably the most powerful person in the world."

His words left the hall in stunned silence.

Everyone knew how powerful Daniel was—

and yet, hearing him say it so plainly struck a different kind of chord.

So no one refuted him. They simply accepted it.

"I've gathered everyone here for a very simple reason.

The matter I wish to discuss is also very straightforward."

"As you all know, the Millennial Apocalypse has begun.

But even I, as strong as I may be, can't protect everyone at once."

"This time, the Apocalypse has spread across the entire world.

Even with my clone technique, I'm stretched far too thin."

"That's why I hope each of you—and your respective races—can strengthen yourselves as quickly as possible.

By doing so, we won't be caught as unprepared when the worst comes."

"On that note, I'd like to propose a pact—an alliance, if you will.

Once the pact is formed, I'll do what I can to help all of you raise your strength."

The monarchs of the various races exchanged glances, expressions shifting subtly.

"Your Highness Daniel..."

"You mean to say..."

"My meaning is simple," Daniel said.

"I want to form a temporary alliance of all races, with me as the leader.

In other words, I would become the Emperor of All Races.

Once this Millennial Apocalypse is over, if anyone is dissatisfied, you are free to leave the alliance."

There it was—Daniel had made his intentions clear.

He wanted to become the supreme ruler of all races—

a unified leader who could guide the world through this crisis.

Of course, this raised questions.

If the other races accepted Daniel's proposal, they would effectively become his subordinates—

losing their independent sovereignty.

But this wasn't without its benefits.

One of the most immediate gains was the elevation of their level caps.

Daniel was human, and the level cap for humans had recently been raised to 250.

Additionally, any racial bonuses currently possessed by humans could now apply to their allied races.

When Daniel had slain the Seeds of Chaos, he had obtained a slew of powerful items.

These had significantly strengthened the entire human race.

Skills such as Bow Mastery, Shadow Mastery, Sword Mastery...

In short, the human race had become fully stacked with buffs.

Factually speaking, humanity now existed on an entirely different tier from the rest.

It wasn't an exaggeration to say that even if every other race in the world banded together,

they would still lose to the current humans.

And this transformation had happened within just a few short hours.

Everyone in the room knew—

It wouldn't be long before every awakened human possessed S-rank talents.

When that day arrived, the human race would be hundreds of times stronger than it was now.

Daniel alone had propelled his race into a golden age of development.

Of course, the monarchs of other races weren't fools.

They understood why Daniel was offering this alliance—

and they also understood what they stood to gain from it.

If they became Daniel's vassals, their own races would grow stronger.

Their combat power would soar.

Overall, the benefits clearly outweighed the drawbacks.

And Daniel had already promised that the alliance was temporary—

anyone could leave once the Apocalypse ended.

Faced with this reasoning, many monarchs began to feel tempted.

After all, this Millennial Apocalypse was shaping up to be far more dangerous than any in history.

Without Daniel's help, they had little hope of survival.

Still, the issue concerned sovereignty—

and so, for the time being, the monarchs remained silent, deep in thought.

At that moment, a gentle cough broke the silence.

It was Ally.

"Sorry to interrupt at such a tense time," she said, "but I have some news to share—something directly related to the Apocalypse."

Daniel looked toward her and gave a small nod.

Receiving his approval, Ally continued,

"Everyone here has likely experienced a previous Millennial Apocalypse.

You know how these events unfold."

"What we're currently seeing—the Seeds of Chaos—is only the beginning."

"But beyond those seeds, I've received new intel."

"The Goddess of Gold & Silver, Aurelia, will descend upon this continent herself.

And her servants, the higher race known as the Angels of Gold and Silver, will descend with her."

Gasps of alarm rippled through the chamber.

No one had expected this—

a true god was about to descend?

Aurelia?

Wasn't she the one who had always protected the races of the world?

Why would she be descending now?

The crowd was filled with confusion, but no one had any answers.

Then Ally spoke again.

"According to the will of the Moon Goddess Luna, I am willing to temporarily serve under Daniel."

"I'll be honest—none of you have the strength to resist the invasion of the higher races.

When Aurelia descends, this world will be finished."

The expressions in the room turned grim.

"Aurelia... will truly descend?" someone asked in a trembling voice.

No one knew if this was absolutely certain.

But even if Aurelia didn't appear in person—

just the Angels of Gold and Silver would be enough to annihilate the world.

The monarchs of every race now wore expressions as dark as the void.

Even Daniel furrowed his brow slightly.

Because this... even he hadn't foreseen.

Chapter210-Solodrake Clan

The destructive force of the Primordial Core Weapon was equivalent to an ordinary attack from a god after enhancement.

If a true god were to descend upon the world—then this battlefield would become completely unwinnable.

Daniel could only turn to the Time Stream in hopes of finding another solution.

Eventually, the Elf Queen let out a long sigh and said,

"This matter isn't something I can decide on my own. Your Highness Daniel, if possible, could I send out a public announcement to the elves?"

"I want my people to at least be informed of what's going on."

It was a reasonable request—and Daniel, naturally, had no reason to refuse. He nodded in agreement.

Seeing that Daniel had approved, the Elf Queen finally relaxed and exhaled in relief.

She promptly transmitted the events in the council chamber to the rest of her people.

What even the Elf Queen hadn't expected, however, was how her kin would react.

After a moment of surprise, they quickly held a vote and agreed to the proposal.

Of course, there were a few dissenting voices, but they were an insignificant minority.

Seeing how the elves had handled it, the other races began to follow suit.

Soon, the council hall turned into a live communication center—

a relay point between the monarchs in attendance and their people across the world.

Meanwhile, the gnomes—unlike most—were visibly at ease.

That was because, long ago, they had already acknowledged Daniel as their true leader.

Since the beginning, the gnomes had considered themselves vassals of the human race.

So for them, Daniel's proposal wasn't something to be debated; it was a welcomed affirmation.

At the same time, news of Daniel's proposed alliance sparked wide discussion across the multiracial communication network.

"Anyone got thoughts on this? Let's talk."

"Thoughts? My only thought is that I hope my race isn't full of morons."

"Damn it, the opportunity to become stronger is staring us in the face, and some people are still hesitating? You brainless fools!"

"Do you want to die? Getting stronger is our best shot at surviving. What could possibly matter more than staying alive?"

"This alliance can be dissolved at any time. So what's the hold-up? Say yes already!"

"Your Majesty, have you lost your mind? Just agree already!!"

Within moments, the voices in favor of the alliance drowned out all dissent.

Back in the hall, Daniel once again raised his voice.

"I will soon be leaving for a period of time."

His words stunned the monarchs present. Confusion and worry quickly spread across their faces.

Ever since the Millennial Apocalypse began, it had been Daniel who stood at the front lines.

Whether it was the threat from the Artists, the arrival of the Seeds of Chaos, or the invasion from the abyss—

Daniel had personally handled every crisis.

But if Daniel were to leave...

how dangerous would the world become without him?

Perhaps sensing their anxiety, Daniel smiled calmly and said,

"Don't worry. My departure is for the purpose of addressing the Millennial Apocalypse more effectively."

"That's actually the reason I called this meeting in the first place."

"This Apocalypse is a threat to all of us. Relying on my strength alone is far from enough."

At that moment, one of Daniel's avatars had already found the entrance to the Undead Lands.

The Undead Lands were fundamentally different from the rest of the continent.

Once inside, not even Flashback could bring him back to the world of the myriad races—

only to the boundary between.

Even remote control over his avatars was impossible within that realm.

That's why Daniel had chosen to convert some of his avatars into autonomous puppets.

After a brief period of silence, one of the monarchs finally spoke.

"Your Highness Daniel, I have no objections to your proposal."

Once someone had taken the lead, the others quickly followed—

more and more monarchs agreed to join the temporary alliance.

Ally, however, shot a dissatisfied glare at Daniel.

"Who said we have to rely solely on you to face the Millennial Apocalypse?" she said bluntly.

"Do you think we're all that weak in your eyes?"

"Daniel, this world belongs to all of us—not just you."

"If you hadn't handled the Seeds of Chaos, I would have done it myself.

Don't underestimate the strength of us god devotees!"

Meanwhile, the ruler of the Solodrake Clan let out a cold chuckle.

"Your Highness Daniel, do you really think our races survived all these eras just by luck?"

"We of the Solodrake Clan have made it through five Apocalypses. And we're still here."

He then turned his head deliberately toward Pixis, the gnome leader.

"Of course... the gnomes can't say the same."

It was clearly meant as mockery. Pixis's expression immediately darkened with anger.

But he quickly regained composure, then turned to Daniel with a serious look and said:

"Your Highness Daniel, regardless of what others say, the gnome race stands with the human race."

"We support every decision you make, unconditionally."

Meanwhile, among the god devotees, a few members could no longer stay silent.

"Daniel, don't act like you're the only one that matters. Yesterday you just happened to hog the spotlight.

It's not that we couldn't fight—we just didn't get the chance!"

"If it hadn't been for—"

Smack!

Before the god devotee could finish his sentence, Charles slapped him hard across the face.

Then, turning to Daniel with an apologetic smile, Charles said:

"Forgive him, Your Highness. His brain must've short-circuited.

We'll immediately remove him from the god devotee ranks."

He paused, then added seriously,

"Daniel, please go ahead and do whatever you need to do. Leave the rest to us."

"Though I'm a merchant, I still have some combat power. I can take care of a few enemies."

"Let me follow you through this Apocalypse—at least for now. Of course, I have my own reasons."

"My god tasked me with a mission: to stop Aurelia from descending into this world."

"In that sense, this alliance is also a transaction."

Seeing the god devotees choose to side with Daniel,

the rest of the monarchs no longer hesitated.

One after another, they officially pledged themselves to the temporary alliance.

The ruler of the Solodrake Clan, watching this unfold, couldn't hide the shift in his expression.

But in the end, he had no choice but to grit his teeth and declare,

"In truth, our Solodrake Clan has long upheld an ancient proverb:

'A wise man submits to the times.'"

"And so... we too are willing to join the alliance."
