Chapter 163 - D-Day

Third Person's POV

The black Bentley stopped sharply at the lobby of Houston Hospital, followed by two black Mercedes sedans behind it.

As her heels touched the ground, Viona was still flipping through her tiny notes, lips moving as she murmured the points for her presentation. She read as if her life depended on it.

Rafael had to grip her arm to stop her from stumbling.

"Be careful," he said when she veered off and almost lost her footing.

But the triplets' mother kept her eyes glued to the notes, probably not even hearing him.

Only when the cold air bit her skin did she realize they were already inside the building. Her eyes lifted, scanning the unfamiliar interior.

"Huh, I didn't know Houston had another building like this." She frowned lightly.

"I only knew it on paper," Rafael scoffed. "Didn't expect they'd build it this grand, like a hotel."
