I smirked slightly. It was obvious the Monopoly game they were playing was the teammate kind. Reece always teamed up with Roey, and Rafael's usual spot was where mine used to be.
I deliberately didn't open the door or show my presence. I was too curious to see how Rafael would handle the two boys' menacing little tricks.
"How could that be? Hey, pawnbroker boy, you haven't given ice cream boy his money yet?" Rafael pressed Roey, who immediately put on an exaggerated, fake-ignorant expression.
