Blue side picks one, Red side picks two, Blue side picks two, and finally, Red side picks one.
After some thought, and a few adjustments following the choice of Secret Scrolls, Sasuke and Naruto entered the match with their respective lineups.

It was worth noting that both of them picked themselves—and neither tried to snatch the other's ninja.
Staring at the loading screen with Cursed Seal Sasuke and One-Tail Naruto facing off, Kakashi's expression darkened.

As the countdown ended, the two began maneuvering their respective ninjas across the Unlimited Arena.
Because the Unlimited mode didn't allow Summons, and since it was their first real match, both were extremely cautious.
[Haruno Sakura] had shorter skill cooldowns, so Naruto played very slyly—darting around, looking for an opening.
But suddenly, [Hatake Kakashi · Youth] charged in from the other side of the screen, dragging a long streak of Chidori behind him.
Naruto quickly pulled up on his joystick to dodge—but before he could celebrate, [Hatake Kakashi · Youth]'s hand brushed the edge of [Haruno Sakura]'s sleeve.
In an instant—the just-finished Chidori continued, chaining into another dash!
[Haruno Sakura] was sent flying!
"T-Two-stage Chidori?!" Naruto gaped.
"Hmph. This ninja can perform a second piercing rush upon hitting the opponent," Sasuke said coldly.
Hearing that, Naruto looked at Sasuke warily.
No wonder Sasuke picked this skill. Even the slightest contact triggered the second stage—and that second stage traveled much farther than the first.
It was becoming clear—Sasuke must have practiced with these ninjas before...

[Haruno Sakura] hit the ground hard.

After running for a bit, [Hatake Kakashi · Youth] suddenly turned and cast Lightning Style: Ground Walk.
But almost simultaneously, [Haruno Sakura] crouched and summoned a scroll above her head, launching ninja tools downward—
Summoning: Thunder Sword Manifestation!
The Secret Scroll Lightning Style: Ground Walk sent electric currents forward, paralyzing any hit opponent for 3 seconds.
That meant, for those three seconds, the target couldn't move—even skill casts would occur in place.
And Thunder Sword Manifestation… also lasted three seconds!
"You think I wouldn't see that coming, Sasuke!" Naruto shouted. "Don't underestimate me!"
"Then who's really underestimating whom?" Sasuke replied evenly. "Did you think I wouldn't predict that you'd predict what I'd do?"
Naruto's eyes widened. His [Haruno Sakura] remained frozen in place—while [Hatake Kakashi · Youth] had already closed in.
Crap! Naruto thought, alarmed.
Thunder Sword Manifestation did last three seconds, but Ground Walk hit first—then applied its three-second bind. He'd overlooked the most important detail!
The two scroll durations were similar, but from first damage tick to full end effect, Ground Walk still won out!
And once struck by Ground Walk, you could Substitution while losing HP—but not during the bind.
[Hatake Kakashi · Youth] performed a slide kick, sending [Haruno Sakura] flying again.
This second skill only triggered follow-ups if it hit—jumping midair and slashing with a kunai.
[Haruno Sakura] immediately Substituted midair to punish the endlag—hands forming seals as a massive iron ball came crashing down!

"Substituting and rushing in right after—that's a rookie mistake, Naruto."
Sasuke's lips curved faintly as his fingers slid across the screen.
Chidori!
The freshly recharged skill burst from [Hatake Kakashi · Youth]'s hand— and into [Haruno Sakura]'s chest.
Watching the HP bar plummet, the drop of sweat hanging on Naruto's forehead finally slid down his cheek.
He'd fallen for it. He'd panicked.
Breathe… calm down, he told himself—even if he had to force it.
Losing to Sasuke—he couldn't accept that!
As soon as his Substitution refreshed, Naruto used it immediately.
[Hatake Kakashi · Youth] could, in a corner, pin an opponent and combo them with just basic attacks until red health protection kicked in.
But Naruto couldn't wait. If he waited for red HP protection, his health bar would already be gone.
He Substituted and countered with a basic attack to grab [Hatake Kakashi · Youth]—but Sasuke used Chidori to escape.
That skill's cooldown was ten seconds. Substitution was fifteen.
Naruto wasn't surprised—it was a bait test. He'd been using basic attacks to probe Sasuke's timing.
[Haruno Sakura]'s second skill spun her body into a twirling strike, fists and kicks landing squarely on [Hatake Kakashi · Youth].
Naruto prepared to pull him toward the wall—but Sasuke's Substitution came just one or two seconds later.
As soon as [Haruno Sakura] finished punching, [Hatake Kakashi] Substituted out.
[Haruno Sakura] cast Thunder Sword Manifestation again.
Naruto wasn't hoping for damage this time—just to buy a few seconds of safety.
And in that sense, he succeeded.
[Hatake Kakashi] just stood there, staring—no scrolls, no skills.
Naruto grew tense. As soon as Thunder Sword Manifestation ended, he began moving up and down, feinting.
But Sasuke simply mirrored him—walking up and down for a few seconds, matching his steps.

Ultimate followed by a skill! Sasuke knew exactly what he was doing.
Then came the basic attack string—for safety, Sasuke didn't even use his first skill.
As mentioned, [Hatake Kakashi · Youth] could combo an enemy straight down to red protection.
And [Haruno Sakura] clearly wasn't going to last that long.
Naruto's hands loosened slightly from his phone. He turned his head toward Sasuke. Sasuke didn't look back—already thinking about how to play the next round.
Naruto lowered his head again, staring at the word "Defeat" on his screen. His relaxed hands clenched once more.
Everything from the start until now… No—long before that, you'd already planned this, hadn't you?
Even before the Unlimited Mode was released…
