Only Soul-Forged Metal can make the transmission of spiritual power smoother and more complete, allowing users to project their spiritual power into the virtual battle room through the Neural Connection Soul Tool for a more realistic experience.
However, Soul Forging is no easy task. It's already the afternoon of the fifth day of the holiday, and if Soul Forging technology is used, completing the virtual battle room before the holiday ends will be extremely time-consuming.
Without much hesitation, Oschin decided to use Soul-Forged Metal to create the core array of the Neural Connection Soul Tool. Oschin had his own pride in creating soul tools; if he had the ability, he would strive for the best possible effect.
The core array and outer shell of the Neural Connection Soul Tool are made entirely of Star Iron, while the inner shell is made of Mithril, a rare metal with perfect affinity for spiritual power.
Considering the difficulty of Soul Forging Metal, Oschin decided to use the remaining time this afternoon to create the inner and outer shells of the Neural Connection Soul Tool. He needed to practice in the Omniscient Library for a while before working on the core array.
Having prior experience with Soul Forging Jadeite Gold, Oschin was confident he could complete the Soul Forging Star Iron task within the remaining two days of his vacation.
Time passed, and it was now 6:30 PM. The sky outside was long dark, and the soul-guiding lamps in the laboratory emitted a soft light, illuminating the entire space.
As Oschin stopped his work, two helmet-shaped metal objects were neatly placed on the lab table in front of him.
Shifting his gaze to the front of the helmet, he could see a hexagonal notch on the forehead guard—the space Oschin had reserved for the core magic array.
After disassembling the helmet from the notch, it became clear that the metal inside was not the same as the outer layer.
The outer layer, Star Iron, a deep, starry color, firmly encased the inner layer, a soft mithril that shimmered with a faint silver light.
Upon closer inspection, it's easy to see that both the outer shell made of stellar iron and the inner shell made of mithril are now meticulously engraved with soul power circulation lines. These lines are intertwined and connected, perfectly combining the stellar iron and mithril into a single whole.
"Mission accomplished, time to eat!" Having completed his task just in time for dinner, Oschin stretched contentedly and walked out of the soul tool manufacturing laboratory building with a cheerful mood, hurrying towards the dining hall.
Upon entering the dining hall, Oschin's steps instinctively faltered. There were only three people in the entire dining hall, including Oschin, one of whom was Grandmaster.
Seeing Oschin enter, Xiao Wu, who had been enjoying a "two-person world" with Grandmaster, immediately gave Oschin a pitiful look.
Considering it was too late to leave now, Oschin could only return Xiao Wu's wistful look before obediently going to get his food. The only sound in the entire dining hall was the slurping of food.
Fortunately, the master seemed to have been eating for a while. Not long after Oschin got his food and sat down, the master prepared to leave. But before Oschin could even breathe a sigh of relief, the master, who had already reached the door, suddenly turned back and said to Oschin,

While testing the information soul tools, Oscar also collected all the combat data from several people in the academy. Once the virtual combat room was assembled, this data would be put to use.
At 9:00 AM on the seventh day, Oschin, wearing a spirit-emitting soul tool on his head, used his carving knife to steadily carve the last mark of the magic circle onto the Soul-Forged Star Iron core.
Injecting soul power, the Soul-Forged Star Iron core magic circle, just like the Soul-Forged Jade Gold core magic circle from the day before, slowly floated up, releasing unique spiritual fluctuations.
After inserting the two core magic circles into the previously made helmet slots, the entire neural connection soul tool was complete.
Now, all that was needed was to connect and assemble the various auxiliary soul tools with the artificial intelligence soul tool, and supply sufficient soul power using the high-level "milk bottle" soul tool that Oschin had asked Shao Xin to make. The virtual combat room would then be officially completed.
Removing the spirit-emitting soul tool that resembled a headband from his forehead, Oschin took the two helmets and left his laboratory. He'd leave the remaining assembly work to Oscar; Oschin just wanted a good night's sleep.
