"Impossible. Don't ever go there. I'm telling you, even with guns, you'd be dead in seconds," Burgors said, his voice tense, like he had seen hell itself.
"So… there's no chance?" Jaxon asked again, calm but persistent.
"It's the last place you'd want to set foot in," Burgors replied immediately.
"Jaxon, you didn't tell me about this," Natasha whispered sharply from his side, nudging him. "Why on earth do you want to go there?"
"I was hoping to scavenge some drones from it, but… maybe it's not worth the risk."
"Wait, you're looking for drones?" Hannah suddenly spoke up.
"Yes. If you have one, we could exchange it for food or whatever you need."
"No," Hannah answered quietly. "But I saw someone from our neighborhood using one last month. If we look for it, we might be able to find it."
Jaxon's eyes lit up. "That's great! Thank you, I owe you one."
"No, I'm not even sure if it's still there. But I hope this helps."
