After 34 chapters of Raymond's desert adventures, power armor showdowns, and system mechanics, I need to shift focus back to my main project—The Myriad Constellations: Volume 3. That series has been waiting patiently, and my readers there deserve to see where the story goes next.
"Where the Layers End" has been an absolute blast to write. Exploring Raymond's tactical mind adapting to a simulation world, the cyberpunk-desert aesthetic, and all those satisfying combat sequences—it's been creatively fulfilling. But I can't juggle both projects simultaneously while maintaining the quality you all deserve.
What this means:
No new chapters for the foreseeable future
I'm not abandoning the story—just pausing it

When will it resume?
Once I've made significant progress on Volume 3 of The Myriad Constellations. I can't give you an exact timeline, but I promise Raymond's story isn't over.
