Chapter 28 - CHRISTMAS EVE NOTICE

From the Heart of the Author

To every reader who has walked with me through words, worlds, and waiting.

Thank you.

As we come to the quiet edge of the year, with 2025 almost behind us, I want to pause and speak directly to you, my readers, my supporters, my constant companions in this journey of writing.

Thank you for choosing to read with me.

Thank you for staying when updates were slow, when chapters came late, when the story asked for patience. Thank you for believing in Intertwined and in me. Your presence, your comments, your silent reading at midnight, none of it has gone unnoticed.

To those who have been here from the very beginning, you are the roots of this story.

To those who joined along the way, you are the reason it kept growing.

And to future readers who will one day discover these pages, know that you are already appreciated, already welcomed.

✨ How Intertwined Was Born

Intertwined began long before the first chapter was ever written.

I was turning sixteen when I watched my very first Korean movie. It was a historical one, filled with longing glances, unspoken duty, and love restrained by time and fate. I didn't just watch it, I fell in love with it.

And somewhere in that moment, a question took root in my heart:

What if a girl from our time fell into the Joseon Dynasty?

What if she arrived in the 1500s or 1600s, carrying a different way of thinking, seeing, loving?

And crossed paths with a Crown Prince who had never known freedom, never known choice, never known love without consequence?

From the prince's perspective, everything changes.

A stranger enters his life at the moment he needs someone the most.

Someone who challenges his silence, softens his solitude, and reminds him that beyond duty and bloodlines, he is still human.

She doesn't just love him.

She helps him survive.

That idea stayed with me. Grew with me. Followed me.

🌙 Nine Years of Intertwined

It's been nine years since I first began writing Intertwined.

Nine years of growing, rewriting, doubting, and believing again.

And now, as we look toward January, the story is continues. Reaching the place it has always been walking toward, with your help, your patience, and your love.

Thank you for staying with this book. Thank you for holding its hand with me.

📚 What Comes Next

Intertwined is not the end. It is but the beginning.

Along this journey, other stories have bloomed:

I'm in Love with the Son:Lost But Found In Seoul (completed)

When the Devil Calls (ongoing)

The Devil's Prayer(ongoing)

Vice Versa(ongoing)

Uncharted(Coming soon)

Alice Crane (coming soon)

…and many more stories still waiting to be born.

Each one carries a piece of my heart. And I hope, in time, they find a place in yours too.
