Report on the Increasing Density of Magic and Code: Resurgence around the Terra and its comprehensive analysis with the possible effects on the landscape of Terra.

Report Written By: Special Magic Resurgence Group of the Magic Association Council, Code: SMRG

Report distributed to:

1st - Primary Contributors (Full Acess)

2nd - Regular Members of the Magic Association Council (Partial Acess)

3rd - Affiliates of the Magic Association Council (Summary)

4th - Non-Member Organizations (Conclusion Note)

At the start of January 2010, a Special Working Group under the authority of the Magic Association Council was put together with the involvement of the World's Major Magic associations.

Greenwich Association of Switzerland, Witenagemot of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Holy Cult of the Five Mountains of the People's Republic of China, Illuminati Society of the United States of America, Azuresnow Shrine representing Africa, and the History Compilation Committee of the Empire of Japan sent their representatives and best Magic Researchers.

Over the ten years of work, the Special Magic Resurgence Group (SMRG), collected data and measured the density of Mana around the entire world for the past ten years. The conclusion of the SMRG are these as follows:

First Conclusion: Over the past ten years, it has been repeatedly noted and proven that the amount of Mana on Terra has risen substantially. From the Year 2010 when the SMRG was put together, to the end of the Year 2015, there has been a growth of Magic Density around the globe by 14,79% per year. For the following years, the growth of the Magic Density has been increasing, approximately by 1,15% to 1,39% per Year.

Second Conclusion: This growth in the Mana Density is greatly disturbing, because during the time span of 1st January 2010 to 1st January 2020, the Mana Density has increased more than from Year 1800 to Year 2010. This is a highly disturbing matter and needs to be treated with utmost seriousness and manpower, because if this trend continues, the following situations would happen.

- With the irrational growth of Mana around the world, we can surely predict that sooner or later, animals and living creatures around the world will be influenced by the Mana and start evolving to accommodate the Magic into their world.

- We can also expect an increased rate of No-Majs with aptitude for Magic appearing around the world, especially the younger generations and those who were born between the observed timespan. The entire Magical community should be prepared for he influx of the Awakeners, Dark Mages, and fresh Magical Blood and should be handled appropriately.

Third Conclusion: The growth in the density of Mana around the world has been concluded to have a rising trend, faster than initially anticipated, and we can predict that it will get only faster.

Fourth Conclusion: The Special Magic Resurgence Group of the Magic Association Council also investigated the possible reasons behind the growth of the Mana around the world, but unfortunately, the SMRG didn't uncover the reason behind the growth of the Mana in the world.

Fifth Conclusion: It has been confirmed that three things are interconnected with each other. During the past ten years, aside from the increasement of Mana in the world, Tombs started descending more around the world, and even more Heretic Gods are appearing during the last decade.

Sixth Conclusion: While there is no clear evidence pointing to the fact that these three are absolutely interconnected with each other, all investigators of the SMRG are convinced that these three aspects are taking place simultaneously and at the same time. Increased Tomb and Heretic God appearances started around the time when Mana Levels started rising around the globe.

7th Conclusion: With the increased Mana in Terra, the Tombs that are descending are more profound and bigger, the Relics are getting more powerful, and even the Heretic Gods observed during the past decades are more powerful than the ones that were descending previously. The number that descended during the observation time is much higher than the number in the past century. Even the Heretic Gods are descending more times on average

8th Conclusion: According to the investigation of the SMRG, only two entities that were recorded in the Terra would have been capable of executing something like this. Even though the SMRG didn't uncover the reason behind these events, the only conclusion reached was that these happenings are of artificial origins and not something that is natural. Only Pandora the All-Giving Woman, who created Campiones and is known only as 'The Majesty', is capable of this feat.

These are the overall findings of the Special Magic Resurgence Group of the Magic Association Council over the ten years of research, observation, and investigation.

Though the SMRG also did find it important to issue a severe warning in this report, which is directly tied to all points of this report. If this trend continues and more Mana is in the world, the more Tombs and Heretic Gods descend, it has been the unanimous conclusion of all members of the Special Magic Resurgence Group of the Magic Association Council that preservation of the secrecy of the Magic is impossible.

It's a very strong belief of the SMRG that all subject Magic Associations and related organizations that they should be preparing for the day when the veil of secrecy collapses and we would need to deal with the revelation of the entire Magical Side of the World.

As unfortunate as it is, even after ten years, the SMRG cannot provide any viable solutions to these predicaments and problems. The only recommendation of the Special Working Group is to start preparation for all that would be revealed in the Magic World and the chaos that it would ensure.

Fort Mirador, Republic of Murtia, Southern Area of Central America

After the fall of Fort Mirador to the forces of the United States of America, the American Troops started cleaning out the entire Fort from the surviving troops. The policy of the United States Military in this conflict was not to take any prisoners.

Either way, all combatants on the opposite side were either the former troops of the Cartels, various types of criminals and murderers, or basically people that nobody wanted to see around.

If they were killed, then only the better.

This was especially true for the Dark Mages in the service of these Warlords, as those were usually the worst of the worst. Many were highly wanted criminals and rogues by Magic Associations in their home countries for various heinous crimes.

Due to this, it would be highly counterproductive to take them as prisoners and contain them. Not to mention, most of them were pretty low-ranked Mages that came here for their own opportunities, so even their overall use wouldn't be really that high.

Yakou, who personally led the charge toward the Fort Mirador of Murtia Republic, now only observed the troops carrying out their tasks with Colonel Hower standing behind him, as he was currently talking to one of his familiars.

Huginn has returned from the reconnaissance of the other areas, because the Fort Mirador was the only one that had protection of someone on the level of the Grand Knights. In the end, not even that could change the outcome, yet Yakou was rather surprised by the sheer number of the Mages and Knights in here.

According to the approximate count, there were around one hundred and fifty-seven Mages and Knights present at the Fort Mirador.

If Yakou had to grade them, then most would be around E+-Rank, which was above the standards of the normally trained Knight or Mage, and there was also a good number of E++-Ranked ones and even some E+++-Rank ones, with a few D-Rank Great Knights and Great Mages.

"How is the situation with the other two fronts?"

Yakou asked as he passed a piece of dried meat to Huginn, who happily ate the meat.

"Good! Good! Everyone who was hostile was destroyed in the name of our glorious master!"

The raven, as always, was boisterous and trying to butter up to his master, maioínly to get more treats and better treatment. Unfortunately for the dynamic duo, Yakou already started the training regimen for the two Ravens, as he found it unacceptable that the two of them were so weak.

How could the Divine Beasts be this kind of weak?

Shameful.

"Any moves from Gonzáles in Mexico City?"

Yakou asked as the Generalissimo of the Murtia Republic was cooped up in Mexico City, which was only lately attacked by the Erigor and his bunch of fanatical followers with an unknown purpose.

"Negative! Negative! But I saw something interesting!"

The Campione raised his brows, hearing that, as he looked toward the white-feathered Raven for him to proceed in explanation.

"Three pieces of dried meat! Three!"

Huginn raised his claw as he showed number three.

"Here and now speak."

Yakou didn't have the patience to actually argue with the Ravven about it, so he just passed him what he wanted.

"Heirloom! Powerful! And it stinks with the very evil stench of Zoroastrianism!"

Hearing that Yakou's expression changed, and Colonel Hower, who was standing behind Yakou, was deathly pale already, because the Relics like that were terrible news. Especially if the said Relic was a Heirloom.

"Where and who had it?"

To Yakou's question, Huginn flapped his wings and flew to the map of the entire Mexico that was on the wall of the room where they were, and pointed his right wing at the location from which he had sensed the aura of the Heirloom.

"Whose territory is that one?"

As Yakou was unfamiliar with the territory and to whom it belonged right now, because the borders between various Warlords, Organizations, and self-declared nations were changing practically every hour, he turned to Colonel Hower for the answer.

"According to the reports obtained from the Echelon III, those mountains should be the territory of Erigor and the Dark Mages."

The more Colonel Hower spoke, the less he liked it.

"Bring up everything we have on him and the people following him... we are heading there. If there is indeed Heirloom connected to the Zoroastrianism and it's one of its Religious Symbols, then it should be a very powerful Heirloom."

Yakou ordered Colonel Hower, as he was in charge of being his auxiliary troops, to bring up everything that they had on the Zoroastrianism and the Relics of Zoroastrianism that appeared in the Terra in the past decades, perhaps centuries.

Relics, specifically Heirlooms, have another use in the Mysticism... aside from using the Relic directly or merging with the Heirloom, one could also use the Relics and Heirlooms as a form of catalyst for powerful Magic Rituals.

Most commonly, these rituals were used to summon a Heretic God.

The more powerful the Relic was, the stronger the Heretic God would be when summoned to descend down from his myth. If someone mad like Erigor was in possession of a powerful Relic from Zoroastrianism and he kept the Relic without fusing with it, it was more than clear that he had other purposes for the Relic.

Yakou would bet his money that the mandman was preparing to summon whatever God that he was worshipping to the Earth.

This could be highly problematic, because if the Heretic Gods were summoned through a proper ritual and a Relic or Heirloom connected to the said Heretic God was used as a catalyst, then they would be far more powerful than they should have been under normal circumstances.

Zoroastrianism, also called Mazdayasna or Behdin, was an Iranian religion centred on the Avesta and the teachings of Zarathushtra Spitama, who is more commonly referred to by the Greek translation, Zoroaster.

It was among the world's oldest organized faiths, its adherents exalt an uncreated, benevolent, and all-wise deity known as Ahura Mazda, who is hailed as the supreme being of the universe. Opposed to Ahura Mazda is Angra Mainyu, who is personified as a destructive spirit and the adversary of all things that are good.

Hearing the orders of the Campione, everyone scrambled to carry them out, because they were of the utmost importance. Yakou, meanwhile, sent Huginn to Keira to report that Erigor may be planning to use the Heirloom from the Zoroastrianism to summon a Heretic God.

The conditions were good, and Yakou already figured out which exact Heretic God that madman was planning to follow the moment when Colonel Hower brought him a report about Erigor.

It seemed that in the past, the man had been the leader of the Evil Cult known as the Order of the Ninth Demon, a demon-worshipping cult that worshipped Evil Gods from various mythologies. They operated primarily in Eastern and Central Europe, but last year their luck ran out, when they killed one of the High-Ranking Vampires that belonged to the faction of Marquise Voban near Moscow.

Even though Voban was old and detached Campione, he took it as a personal insult and slaughtered the entire Order of the Ninth Demon when he destroyed their headquarters, essentially forcing them to flee to the western part of Central Europe.

Where they were then picked up by Greenwich Assembly and Seven Sisters.

Those who managed to survive fled to the world, and it seemed that Erigor was among them, too.

Which was bad news.

Because that said madman was now going to attempt to summon one of the Evil Gods that they worshipped, as this entire place was the most ideal condition for the summon ritual.

Suffering, Death, Negative Energy, Souls...

Everything that one needed to conduct an empowered summon ritual to summon the Heretic God.

But that was only a working theory with no real evidence.

Yet Yakou's instincts were never wrong, and he really felt that something bad was going to happen if they let it be. It was that kind of indescribable feeling that he knew something terrible would be happening regarding this.

"Per your command, Master!"

Huginn raised one of his wings in military salute posture as he flew away toward the location of Keira.

Yakou, meanwhile, looked at Colonel Guinness Hower as he proceeded to stay.

"We are heading toward the place which Huginn marked, and I am taking over the command of all troops from the Mage-Knight Blazer Corps present. Tell them to regroup within forty minutes and prepare for the departure toward the target. The ordinary troops of the US Army will remain here and take control of Fort Mirador. Also, send back a message to dispatch a team of Enforcers to the Fort Mirador, and they should arrive within the said forty minutes."

Colonel Hower nodded as he wasn't internally pleased that they were going on such a dangerous mission, because if there was something that could make even Campione take the matter seriously, then it was nothing good.

Yakou, meanwhile, technically held the rank of General in the United States Military, because the Illuminati Society created, more or less, a public identity for him to use when needed.

This was done so he could more easily take over the command operations if there was ever a need. And he himself rather appreciated having a formal military rank, because while it didn't really seem like it, the Tsuchimikado Clan was a proper military family.

When the Clan was still a big thing in Japan, there was no male member who didn't serve at least twenty years in the Imperial Military. So it was undoubtedly a familial pride that he was wearing stars and stripes across his shoulders.

***

Somewhere in the Republic of Murtia

The advance of the United States Military was essentially unstoppable, even within an hour, ten forts of the Murtia have fallen to the forces of the US. With the full might and firepower of the United States Military, the former troops of the cartels that congregated in the Murtia Republic were falling one after another.

They couldn't match the firepower of the US, and in terms of Mages and Knights, they were losing against the Mage-Knight Blazer Corps, which was using the most advanced Magitek Weaponry and Vehicles.

With this on hand, the three major fortifications of the Murtia Republic, together with other less important strongholds and military fortresses, have fallen to the United States Military within one hour.

Keira Clark as the General of the Mage-Knight Blazer Corps and Supreme Commander of the entire field operation of Operation Cactusfall. She also led one of the major assaults on one of the three major forts of the Murtia that were along the borders with the United States, as she was one of the few Grand Knights.

She managed to conquer one of the major forts, as she now went through the contents of the treasury and some papers that she found in the office of the commanding officer. Most importantly, it also contained communication with Mexico City, and it seemed that the military forces of Murtia were in a much worse state than they seemed at first glance.

It seems that Erigor's fighting against the Murtia caused them a lot more losses, and there was also the topic that the fighting between the various Warlords was too intense, as several of the Warlords were people who hated Gonzáles too much.

And he too hated them too much... in the end, the result was that everyone was fighting against everyone just for the sake of fighting, as everyone wanted to carry out their revenge.

It was a pretty much fucked up situation in the end.

Nevertheless, Keira found it much to their advantage, because their stupid brains basically created perfect conditions for the USA to conquer the entire former territory of Mexico with little to no effort.

What was problematic, though, and gave a lot of headaches for them, was the current state of warfare.

Suddenly, as she was about to go through the next batch of papers and records left here, she noticed a huge white raven clawing at the window of the room, then broke the glass and flew into the room.

She knew that it was Huginn, one of the Divine Familiars of their Campione.

"I bring a report from Master Yakou! Give me treats and I'll give your report!"

The white raven shouted at Keira, who frowned as she released her Mana that was classified as the D++-Rank, on the border of reaching the D+++-Rank, according to the new Parameter Classification System that Yakou proposed.

It made a lot of things simpler, because it unified tons of terms and words that the various Magic Associations had for the various stages of the Knighthood and Mages across the several thousand years.

She knew how to deal with the ravens as Yakou told them to give them some beating if they were annoying as heck, as they were pretty durable, even though their own combat prowess was sucking as fuck.

"Alright! Alright! I surrender! White flag! White flag raised!"

Keira knew that the ravens were arrogant and tended to bully up the people for treats and food, sometimes for a good rub over their heads and belly, and sometimes just for the fun of it, as it brought them a rather good source of entertainment.

And they were doing it a lot, especially among the people at the headquarters of the Illuminati Society, where they tended to bully clerks and other members of the Society just for the fun of it.

Everyone knew that they were Divine Familiars of the Campione, and nobody dared to offend the ravens.

Tsuchimikado Yakou had rahter a bad reputation as Campione, and among the current Campiones, he was rather only below the Marquise Voban in the ranking of dangerous and tyrannical Campiones.

"Speak and without any sidetracks... I am not in the mood or have time for them."

Yakou thus taught a few people how to properly deal with the ravens, as the two of them were quite mischievous and constantly caused trouble. Even during very serious matters, and even when he sent them to do something.

"My master sends a message that Erigor and his followers are probably going to use the Heretic God Summoning Ritual to summon one of the major Evil Gods of Zoroastrianism, as they obtained Heirloom as a catalyst and perfect conditions for that. Master took direct command of the troops of Mage-Knight Blazer Corps at Fort Mirador and marched to the south, where they discovered traces of the Erigor. He also sends a message that he needs a squad of the Enforcers to arrive at the Fort Mirador within thirty minutes."

When Huginn summarized everything, Keira looked pretty much grave, hearing that, because it was terrible news for everyone involved. But considering the current situation and the personalities that were now operating in the territory of the former Mexico.

Most of the Evil Gods were terrible news... they were the worst kind of Heretic God that one could summon, because they would usually go rampant and destroy everything that they could.

Sometimes they even killed Campiones that fought them, because what was particular about the Evil Gods was that many had very unique and problematic abilities through which they could increase their parameters.

Through assimilation of the Souls of the people that they killed.

This was making the Evil Gods very problematic to deal with, even for the Campiones, and it was rather common knowledge that Zoroastrianism had some of the most powerful Evil Gods in existence.

"I will send Reed and his squad to support Yakou."

Keira said as she was on a first-name basis with the new Western American Campione, as she now had a whole bunch of things to handle, and she needed to handle them pretty fast.

If it was indeed true that the Divine Raven was speaking, then suddenly a lot of things about Erigor and his eccentric moves made sense, and she also now realized that this was his true goal in attacking Mexico City, which was now a bastion of the Murtia and had tons of Mages and Knights.

He was there for the Heirloom of Zoroastrianism, which he planned ot use as the catalyst to summon a Heretic God from Zoroastrianism.

She also knew that Erigor was a member of the cult known as the Order of the NiNth Demon, which had been recently destroyed by Marquise Voban near Moscow. The remnants were subsequently hunted down by the Greenwich Assembly and the Seven Sisters across continental Europe.

Keira didn't waste any time as she then passed down the orders and ordered everyone to be on high alert because of the possible Heretic God summoning that could soon enough wreak havoc across the entire region of former Mexico.

She also sent orders to Christopher Reed to pack his group of Enforcers from the Department of the Sealing Designation Enforcers to support Campione, as they would be going after Erigor and his cultists.

"You can return to your Master and tell him that the support is being sent, and I have issued orders to the troops to be on the alert and be prepared to evacuate in the case of a Heretic God attack."

Keira knew that as long as there was Heretic God wreaking havoc across the entirety of the former Mexico, then the United States soldiers couldn't wage war here, and they would need their Commander-in-Chief to handle the matters for them.

The best-case scenario would be if Yakou managed to catch up to Erigor and kill him before he could execute the Heretic God Summoning Ritual, which would summon some Evil Heretic God from Zoroastrianism.

***

Somewhere in the Mexico Mountains, Around the Same Time.

These parts of Mexico were largely empty, and there was nothing here aside from the rocks, more rocks, and occasional cacti here and there. This was a rather hostile area for the people to live, as the enviroment was unforgiving, it was hot and dry, there was no water, and no place to rest their heads during the night.

Though this wasn't the truth today.

Rahter, not everything was true today.

Today, one of these hostile environments was brimming with human activity, as there were several tens of people wearing black capes as they were engraving some sort of Magic Inscriptions into the ground.

They were working pretty hard and very quickly, like bees, as everyone knew exactly what to do, and they carried out their tasks to perfection. On the top of one of the smaller hills, there was a persons tadning who was observing everything that was happening down on the ground.

It was an extremely tall, lean-built, and yet mildly muscular man with silver hair, which is held pointing upwards in spiky strands on top of his head, but hangs down to the left of his face in a distinctive tuft, sometimes partially covering it, and reaching down to his shoulders.

His eyes were dark, and he had an elongated face with sharp features and somewhat pointed ears, but he seemed to lack eyebrows. They were circled by dark lines and each of them has a simple tattoo right below it, consisting of a pointed line going down vertically, crossed with two more, larger horizontal lines.

The upper part of his body is similarly tattooed, but with much larger, intricated and blue-colored motifs, which take on spiraling forms, and adorned his shoulders, biceps, pectorals, and back.

He wore a donned torn-like outfit. He was bare-chested, with all his tattoos visible, and his lower body was covered in layers of clothing: he wore a long, worn skirt, reminiscent of a hakama, beneath a darker, shorter cloth, held up by an even lighter, shorter one tied like a belt.

He had a black scarf wrapped around his thin neck, with its edges hanging on his back, and traditional geta sandals on his feet. His attire was completed by a pair of distinctive dark gloves, each adorned by a light "X" on the back, and by bandages wrapped around his forearms.

"We are near finished, Grandmaster."

One of the black-robed Mages standing behind the silver-haired man stated respectfully, with a good mixture of fear and hesitation included. Grandmaster of the Order of Ninth Demon was obviously the notorious Mage Erigor, who was now the subject of interest for many.

Order of the Ninth Demon was a religious cult established several centuries ago by a group of Dark Mages who actually worshipped several prominent Evil Gods that existed in the world and served them.

Their greatest wish was to bring them back to life, but such an endeavor was very hard.

Heretic Gods descended down randomly, and even when they descended, they were greatly constrained by the Rules set by Pandora. Even though that last part of the sentence was more or less just a speculation from several prominent Magic Scholars around the world.

Yet, even after the destruction of the Order of the Ninth Demon, the remnants managed to flee ot the Americas, where they discovered a Tomb. This Tomb appeared rather randomly because it contained random Relics and even Heirlooms that had nothing to do with the local Mythos.

Yet, the Heirloom that was in the Tomb was of the utmost importance, because it was an Heirloom of Zoroastrianism. More precisely, it was Avesta, the text corpus of religious literature of Zoroastrianism. All its texts are composed in the Avestan language and written in the Avestan alphabet.

Erigor and the remnants of the Order of the Ninth Demon attacked Mexico City, which became the capital of Murtia, to obtain the Avestan Heirloom, because Erigor planned to use the Heirloom as a catalyst to summon Angra Mainyu.

Angra Mainyu was the Avestan name of Zoroastrianism's hypostasis of the "destructive/evil spirit" and the main adversary in Zoroastrianism, either of the Spenta Mainyu, the "holy/creative spirits/mentality", or directly of Ahura Mazda, the highest deity of Zoroastrianism.

And with all of the death and destruction that was happening around the entirety of the former Mexico, it was a perfect opportunity to summon their God back to the world. If everything had worked as it should have, his God would have been summoned in its full power, not the constrained version, as it was often speculated that Heretic Gods descended.

Then, everyone would then bow to the might of the Evil Gods and their faith would reign supreme. Even the mighty Campiones would fall to the might of the Evil God, All the World's Evil and King of Daemons.

"Prepare the ritual and start immediately."

Erigor commanded as he held the Heirloom Avesta in his hands.

The Dark Mages and Cultists under his command knew exactly what to do, as the ritual circle was spanning several hundred meters as it lit up when it was being activated.

The Heretic God Summoning Rituals were always highly problematic and troublesome to carry out. Even more so, if one wanted to carry them out properly without being killed in turn, which was a pretty common occurrence.

Erigor prepared for everything, and they were very thorough in their preparations as everything was functioning perfectly when the enormous Magic Circle started litting up, with several hundreds of points being lit even faster than the rest of the Circle.

These "points" across the Magic Circle were actually a location where the Cultists placed a Crystal holding a Soul and Negative Emotions that they gathered over the past weeks in Mexico.

There were not many items that could actually hold a person's Soul, but for those that existed, there was a very short supply, and only a few factions had them in their possession.

Ironically, though, the Order of the Ninth Demon was one of such factions.

In these shining crystals that were lighting up the entire skeis with their shining blue light were thousands upon thousands of souls that the cultist of the Order of the Ninth Demon gathered over the course of the past week.

Everything was in order to carry out the Heretic God Summoning Ritual.

Erigor, seeing that the Magic Circle was already activated, pushed the Heirloom Avesta as it floated from his hands and shot directly to the middle of the entire Magic Array. When the Heirloom reached the center point of the entire Magic Array, it opened up as it started swirling through the pages at staggering speed.

In a split second, the amount of the Mana that was being congregated in the Magic Array was staggeringly high, but everything was happening as it was supposed to. So Erigor and a few other Cultists just observed from a distance how the Heretic God Summoning Ritual was going.

Suddenly, the Avesta started disintegrating into thousands of tiny particles, and the color scheme of the entire Magic Circle changed from azure blue to royal purple as oppressive might erupted from the Magic Circle.

Slowly but surely, a silhouette started forming at the center of the Magic Circle, which was invisible to all. It was a bipedal humanoid creature with white, leathery skin and three heads...

It looked like a bipedal three-headed dragon. It had shackles on its arms and wore a tattered piece of red cloth like a cape. The being also sprouted a pair of huge draconic wings from its back as its red eyes shone with a menacing, oppressive feeling and power.

Erigor, who observed what was happening in the middle of the Magic Circle, knew that the Heretic God Summoning Ritual had been successful.

Which was good news.

But...

There was also a piece of a bad news.

The Heretic God that was summoned through the Heretic God Summoning Ritual isn't the one that Erigor intended.

It was someone entirely different.

Something entirely different.

Erigor recognized it...

Aži Dahāka.

Demonic Dragon.

Evil God of Zoroastrianism.

The moment Erigor realized that the Heretic God that was summoned through the Heretic God Summoning Ritual that they conducted, he immediately activated the Relic that he had on his person, which teleported him out of the area to a faraway place.

Aži Dahāka looked around as he descended from the myth to the world, as all three of his heads looked toward different directions. Then its heads looked toward the direction of the Magic Circle and the Dark Mages that were running here and there, as Aži Dahāka spread his wings and shot to the skies.

In the split second, an enormous wave of flame appeared out of nowhere as it fell onto the ground and burned everything and everyone to ashes. Or rather, it would be more prudent to say that not even ashes remained from the people and things that were burned.

Mainly because the flames that Aži Dahāka unleashed contained part of his Divinity of Fire that was incinerating everything to nothingness. The Dark Mages didn't even have time to scream or beg for mercy before they were killed, and their very own Souls were being devoured by the Evil Heretic God floating in the skies.

After Aži Dahāka dealt with the humans below him, though one lucky one managed to slip by as he teleported away practically the moment before he fully descended, he turned toward the specific direction as he felt something in the air.

Suddenly, his entire body was overwhelmed by bloodlust.

Aži Dahāka lusted for the bloodshed, violence, and destruction. He was the natural disaster that eliminated everything without prejudice or shame. He gave his existence entirely to the concept of evil, just so he could be the duality that gives rise to the hero who will bring humanity to light.

Everything he does is for the sake of his goal.

Destruction and death.

Aži Dahāka was one more powerful than an ordinary Heretic God was supposed to be, because he absorbed tens of thousands of Souls from the people who perished during these turbulent times in the former Mexico.

Everything that was gathered by the Order of the Ninth Demon, was used during the Heretic God Summon Ritual, which made the Aži Dahāka much stronger than it should have been.

And now he had sensed an opponent worth fighting.

Campione.

The so-called Godslayers.

Not many knew that Heretic God benefited from killing the Campione.

Not even most of the Heretic Gods were aware of this.

Aži Dahāka sought to kill the Campiones and everything that he encountered, so he could break the shackles of his own existence.

The ones that were imposed on the Heretic Gods by Pandora. Her kind was always so troublesome to deal with, and he could sense that there were two of them in this world.

But Pandora also gave the Heretic Gods the way out.

She wasn't the one who created Heretic Gods or the entire phenomenon of Heretic Gods descending from their Mythos. Yet, she was powerful enough to influence the natural wonders of the Terra, which also included the materialization of the Heretic Gods.

As he prepared to leave, the Evil Heretic God's body froze for several microseconds as a golden glint appeared in his eyes, and he returned to normal in a moment.

Aži Dahāka then flapped his draconic wings as he shot toward a particular direction.

***

Some distance from the Ritual Site

For the past ten minutes, Yakou had a very bad feeling about the entire thing, and he was feeling that his blood was boiling. He knew this feeling relatively well, because it was a feeling of desire to fight against Campione.

This feeling was a natural reaction to the appearance of the Heretic God that every single Campione obtained. It was something that they had when a Heretic God was near, so they would be compelled by their desires and biological reactions to seek and fight against the Heretic God.

"Colonel Hower."

Yakou said as they rode in a convoy of several heavily armored cars.

"Yes, Sir."

There was a need to decide to act against the Heretic God that appeared, while the rest of the Mage-Knight Blazer Corps would go under the command of Colonel Hower and Enforcer Reed after the Erigor and what remained of the Order of the Ninth Demon.

"You will take command of the troops and pursue the Dark Mages and Cultists of the Order of the Ninth Demon together with Enforcer Reed. It seems that a Heretic God has been summoned, and a different fight awaits me there."

The Enforcers that were dispatched by General Clark would take care of the stronger cultists of the Order of the Ninth Demon, while the rest of the troops from the Mage-Knight Blazer Corps would be going after the regular members of the organization.

Yakou would take head on the Heretic God that was summoned. He couldn't help but curse his Luck because just a few hours ago, he sent Huginn to notify Keira about the recent development and the possibility of Erigor conducting a Heretic God Summoning Ritual...

And now...

The Heretic God was already summoned, and it was probably searching for him.

Because, like the Campiones, the Heretic Gods could sense the Campiones in the vicinity.

And if the two of them met in the wilderness, then the only possible outcome was a fight to the death. Just like Yakou planned, right now, when he sensed the presence of the Heretic God that was heading his way.

It seemed that the Heretic God managed to find Yakou first and was already heading his way to settle the scores between the two of them. For the Campione as inexperienced as Yakou, it was pretty hard to control the instincts that were all telling him to go forth and fight against the Heretic God at all costs.

Colonel Hower did what Yakou ordered, and soon enough, both Divine Ravens returned back to Yakou as he observed the troops of the Mage-Knight Blazer Corps departed to search for the cultists and Dark Mages of the Order of the Ninth Demon.

Yakou sent Huginn together with the troops, as he would carry out the reconnaissance for the troops, while Yakou ordered Munnin to observe the area where he would fight against the Heretic Gods and inform the command center.

The appearance of the Heretic God was something that was seriously complicating the entire situation, because now, they needed to accommodate for something that could easily destroy entire continents that could be rampaging all around.

Yakou knew that he needed to kill the Heretic God as soon as possible so the presence of the Heretic God wouldn't endanger Operation Cactusfall. When the troops of the US departed in a different direction, Yakou headed to the location from where he sensed the appearance of the Heretic God.

It didn't take him long to notice that the feeling was getting stronger and stronger, which meant that the Heretic God was closer. Yakou was getting rather very already, as he had already activated his Divine Authority of Gungnir: The Spear of Heaven.

Better to be armed right away so he could enter the fight, and soon enough, approximately another five minutes later, he finally laid eyes on his opponent. Clearly, it was a Heretic God, as it could get and it was pretty powerful...

Actually, more powerful than Odin, whom he slayed as his first Heretic God, and he needed to admit that Odin was one of the more powerful Heretic Gods, because Odin was the God-King of the entire Aesir Pantheon.

Yakou used the All-Seeing Eyes of God, which were now combined with the Heirloom Crow, translating everything to a game-like interference and allowing him to obtain more concrete information about the opponent.

Yakou looked at the information that was displayed in front of him, like the ones from the games that displayed status information. With the Crow synchronized with the All-Seeing Eyes of God, he even managed to bypass some of the protection of its target and managed to gather the information.

He gulped down nervously, because this concrete Heretic God was much stronger than he had initially anticipated. The Heretic God had six Divine Authorities, from which Yakou could see the five of them, while the sixth remained unknown.

All five of them were extremely problematic Divine Authorities, as Yakou managed to obtain some rudimentary information about all of them through the All-Seeing Eyes of God, whose power was further bolstered by the Heirloom Crow.

[Divine Authority of Avesta - Aži Dahāka's Another Cosmology. Which allows him to add his enemies's original power with his own power "Another Cosmology" and create the mirror opposite Gift that neutralizes everything, following the Dualism Theory of Zoroastrianism.]

[Divine Authority of Khvarenah - Summoning, which condensed the triggering force of Eschatology, its manifestation is a Flame-type Divine Authority.]

[Divine Authority of Demon Dragon Body - Demon Dragon Body, passive Divine Authority. Magic Resistance to Mortal Magic and Magic Devouring Body, as the user becomes stronger with more Magic that his body devours.]

[Divine Authority of God Killer - God who kills other Gods. Able to assimilate part of the Divine Authorities, Abilities, Skills, Power, and Knowledge of the God killed. Able to ignore the Divine Protections of the Gods and has God-Slaying Properties.]

[Divine Authority of Library of Akasha - User has countless knowledge stored in his mind, he knows all about the "Techniques" which changed shape at times in the history of Black Magic, Alchemy, Science, and others. His vast knowledge was stated to be equal to a thousand Magics.]

The more Yakou read, the more disturbed he became, because all of the Aži Dahāka's Divine Authorities were nothing short of overpowered, and he had also extremely powerful Parameters.

Far above what Yakou possessed.

Fortunately, he possessed the Divine Authority of Steel Body that gave him a lot of confidence against Aži Dahāka even in the state that he was in. Yakou gripped the Gungnir tightly, as he had practised spearmanship over the past months, together with the help of the Divine Authority of Mímir's Well.

Yakou, who had the Gungnir, realized after some research that Gungnir contained complete Spearmanship arts that were embedded into the very essence of the Divine Weapon itself.

The only thing that Yakou needed to do was to comprehend the Spearmanship Style from the Divine Weapon itself and learn it. With the continuous usage of the Divine Authority of Mímir's Well.

Both Yakou and Aži Dahāka just stared at each other for some time without saying even a single word. It seems that the Evil Heretic God wasn't much of a speaker. It seemed that they would be speaking with their fists, which was also a good way to go.

In a split second, Aži Dahāka appeared in front of Yakou as he hit him in his stomach with his fist, only for the Campione to react at the last second and use Gungnir to block the strike of the Demon Dragon's fist.

The power of Aži Dahāka was above Yakou's as the Campione was shot like a cannonball, but amid the flight, he stabbed Gungnir into the ground, as he stopped and looked at the Evil Heretic God of Zoroastrianism.

He managed to experience the power of the Evil God firsthand, and this was even without the Heretic God using any of the Divine Authorities. Yet, Yakou also understood the fact that its Divine Authorities were rather problematic to use against Yakou.

Divine Authority of Avesta, which was the strongest Divine Authority of Aži Dahāka, was something that Aži Dahāka couldn't use against Yakou, because in the first place, Yakou didn't have any Divine Authority that Aži Dahāka could use through Avesta and add to his own arsenal.

Only the Divine Authority of Khvarenah could be used by Aži Dahāka in single combat, but Yakou's combat style wasn't suitable for that. His target was too fast and agile, which Yakou proved, because once he analyzed the basic combat style of Aži Dahāka through the All-Seeing Eyes of God, everything started falling apart.

With every strike that Aži Dahāka unleashed on Yakou, the Campione used a combination of his physical parameters and Mana to dodge or counterattack with the Gungnir.

Even though the Divine Authority of Gungnir: The Spear of Heaven lasted that kind of overwhelming, destructive prowess, it was still a geniue God-King Divine Artifact. It managed to actually wound even Aži Dahāka, who had much higher physical parameters than Yakou, but at the same time, Yakou noticed something that was rather disturbing.

The opponent in front of him was playing with him and wasn't taking him that seriously.

Yakou had the very same feeling as he had with Odin, because it was more than evident that his opponent wasn't taking him seriously, and he was just entertainment for him. Yakou didn't know the reason for that...

However, he knew that Aži Dahāka in Zoroastrianism was one of the major Evil Gods and was depicted as desiring destruction, bloodlust, and death. If not for the Gungnir that was somehow able to bypass the pseudo-immortality that Aži Dahāka possessed, then Yakou wouldn't be able to injure him.

One part of Yakou wanted to use the Divine Authority of Piedra Del Sol: Solar Calendar Stone against the Aži Dahāka, but he decided against it as he slashed toward one of the heads of the three-headed humanoid Demonic Dragon God.

He refrained from doing so, because Yakou knew that if he used the Divine Authority of Piedra Del Sol: Solar Calendar Stone, he would actually have a high chance of severely injuring Aži Dahāka with it.

Though... he was also aware that it would also mean that Aži Dahāka could use the Divine Authority of Avesta and invoke "Another Cosmology" to turn Yakou's own Divine Authority against him.

No... Yakou needed to find another way of killing the Heretic God before him or something.

Using Magic or Onmyōdō was useless against Aži Dahāka, because the Evil God in front of him possessed the Divine Authority of the Library of Akasha. This allowed Aži Dahāka acess to the Library containing all knowledge, which would in turn allow the Heretic God to counter every single Magic through Avesta.

The "Another Cosmology" of Aži Dahāka was something that Yakou needed to be cautious about, because practically everything he used against the Evil God of Zoroastrianism could then be assimilated by Aži Dahāka and used against Yakou.

Thus, he could depend only on the Martial Arts and his Spearmanship and hope that the Aži Dahāka's arrogance and pride would lead him to make a mistake and create an opening for Yakou to strike.

Unfortunately for the 7th Campione, Aži Dahāka proved to be a master of the close-quarter combat over the span of half an hour that they were fighting. The way that the Evil God of Zoroastrianism was well-versed in combat as he was playing with Yakou.

Aži Dahāka was barely using any of his Aerokinesis and Pyrokinesis Magics, something that Yakou was rather grateful for, because if someone as powerful as him started doing that, he would destroy half of the entire continent.

And because of the Divine Authority of the Demonic Dragon Body, Yakou refrained from using any Magic on Aži Dahāka, because he knew that it would only make him stronger and more powerful.

Nevertheless, as the fight progressed, Yakou was actually able to learn from his opponent, because before the fight, he used the Divine Authority of Mímir's Well, so that he could comprehend faster the opponent's combat style.

He knew that the power and skill disparity between the two of them was relatively sizeable, but that didn't stop Yakou even a bit.

This was something that didn't escape Aži Dahāka's observation, but surprisingly or not, the Evil Heretic God didn't do anything about it, as he just enjoyed the combat and destruction that their fight was causing.

Despite the fact that Aži Dahāka had the upper hand in their spar, there was also another kind of undeniable truth, that Aži Dahāka was wary of the Campione's spear because he felt some kind of threat from the weapon.

He knew clearly that the weapon was something that could actually kill him if the Campione managed to land a solid hit on him. At the same time, Aži Dahāka was rather impatient, because he couldn't use his strongest ability, the Another Cosmology that stemmed from the Divine Authority of Avesta.

Aži Dahāka figured out that the Campione in front of him must have obtained information about him and his Divine Authorities through the weird ocular ability that he had felt the Campione using on him.

But back then, he didn't take that ability seriously very much.

Now, it seemed that it was a mistake, because his opponent managed to gather a good amount of information about him and his nabilittis through those weird ocular abilities, which was troublesome.

Yet for Aži Dahāka, who wanted only to have a good fight to satisfy his bloodlust, this was a good thing, because their fight would be going on for much longer than initially. As most of the Evil Gods, Aži Dahāka carved destruction and death... but first and foremost, he carved a good fight.

Yakou also knew of this fact, and he was using this much to his advantage by prolonging the fight for as long as possible while coming up with a more concrete strategy to slay the Heretic God in front of him.

The Campione gripped the Gungnir tightly as he appeared in front of Aži Dahāka, as he aimed at the heart of the three-headed bipedal Demonic Dragon, but Aži Dahāka was faster and managed to dodge rather quickly.

At the same time, one of his heads spewed out a huge wave of flame towards Yakou, as the Campione used his Innate Onmyōdō Spell to negate the flames, which were a form of Pyrokinesis, basically Flame Magic of one kind.

Even though the flames were more powerful than they should be, Yakou's Innate Onmyōdō Spell also got a significant upgrade in power after he became Campione and tinkered with it a bit.

Unfortunately for him, it only worked on the other kinds of Magic and nothing more; it wouldn't work on different abilities that were not Magic or related to the Divine or with Divine Attributes.

Aži Dahāka looked at the Campione and recognized the Onmyōdō, and he almost recognized a kind of Innate Spell that leaned towards negating other kinds of Magic, and he quickly figured out the inner workings of the said ability.

With the Divine Authority of the Library of Akasha, it was pretty easy for him, and it was partially similar to the Another Cosmology Ability of the Divine Authority of Avesta.

So Aži Dahāka decided to refrain from using Magic directly against his opponent as he deemed it rather useless. From the application of Magic by the Campione in front of him, Aži Dahāka concluded that the Campione was a very skilled Mage and was highly proficient in his craft.

This could prove to be dangerous, as he knew that Campiones tended to ignore the Magic altogether, viewing it as something weak and useless. Aži Dahāka was relatively wary of the Campione that started using some kind of Magic on him, as the three-headed Heretic God recognized that it was a Sealing Spell.

More precisely, an Onmyōdō Sealing Spell.

In a split second, Aži Dahāka mobilized all of his power as he appeared behind Yakou and delivered a kick to his back, interrupting his Spellcasting as Yakou was heavily injured from the kick when he crashed onto the ground.

Even though Aži Dahāka didn't care about the Magic that the Campione could or would cast, there was one exception about which he was rather careful.

Sealing Magic.

Even the Heretic Gods and Campiones could be sealed.

Yakou recovered rather quickly, as he outstretched his right hand and summoned Gungnir back to him, mentally sending another command to his two Divine Ravens, Huginn and Munnin.

The moment the fight started, Yakou summoned Munnin and ordered him and Huginn to begin creating a Magic Circle around them. Because the Ravnes were too weak in Aži Dahāka's eyes, Yakou knew that they would be ignored for it as the Evil Heretic God was focused solely on him.

Yakou raised his spear in front of him, as he blocked the incoming fist of the Demonic Dragon, while instantly after, he flipped in the air, and with his spear, he stabbed Aži Dahāka between his central and right head.

The Evil God of Zoroastrianism let out a deafening roar, as blood spluttered on the ground, but it was already healing at a visible rate. However, that was only true for the superficial wound, as the wounds caused by Gungnir were not that easy to deal with.

Yakou then created distance between himself and Aži Dahāka as much as possible, because the Evil Heretic God was pretty much enraged. It seemed that it really stung his pride that someone whom Aži Dahāka viewed as much weaker managed to injure him.

The Evil God instantly lunged toward Yakou at staggering speed, to which Yakou had no possibility of reaction, as he was hit several times over the course of moments. He felt several of his ribs being cracked as he spat out huge mouthfuls of blood.

Unfortunately, he didn't have any time to recover, because Aži Dahāka wasn't lowering his tempo and continued attacking Yakou at his full speed. It seemed that the moment when he proved to be capable of severely injuring him, Aži Dahāka decided to end the fight as soon as possible.

This was Yakkou's miscalculation because he had relied on the Heretic God's arrogance, but it seems that he was wrong. Nevertheless, he needed to endure the beating only a bit longer until the preparations were complete.

Aži Dahāka deciding to kill him outright the moment he suffered some injury was something that Yakou didn't account for.

Still, seeking the opportunity in Aži Dahāka's style, he used the Gugnir to hit the three-headed bipedal Demonic Dragon in his ribs. Yakou noticed that the rationality of the enraged Aži Dahāka wasn't the best...

Evil Gods were more susceptible to this kind of behavior and to maintaining their rationality when engaged, as they were inherently evil, and Aži Dahāka was especially so, because in Zoroastrianism, he was considered the Source of All the World's Evils.

Gungnir was stabbed deep into Aži Dahāka's ribcage, and before the Evil Heretic God could counterattack, he froze in his tracks, as all three of his heads looked instinctively into the skies, where an enormous Magic Circle appeared.

During the time that the two of them were fighting, Yakou ordered Huginn and Munnin to create a Magic Array around the two of them.

He instructed them to gather resources from the site where the Order of the Ninth Demon had conducted the Heretic God Summoning Ritual and create a new Magic Array using the items they brought back from there.

Yakou, who was well-versed in the ritualistic Magic, had already decided what Magic Array to create... when he realized what kind of Heretic God was summoned, and if the summoned Heretic God was the Evil God termed as the Source of All World's Evils, he ordered them to create the Karmic Judgment Magic Array.

In the Eastern Mythologies, Karma meant the concept of Good Deeds and Bad Deeds.

Aži Dahāka was the ultimate Evil God.

His Negative Karma was staggeringly high.

Even though the Karmic Judgement Magic Array won't be enough to kill or to do something significant to the Heretic God, that was never the aim in the first place. Yakou knew that Aži Dahāka's fundamental existence would handle itself.

Before the Evil God of Zoroatrianism could react, the Magic Array was activated as Yakou disappeared from the place as far as possible, not to be caught in the Magic Array. He specifically left Gungnir stabbed in the Aži Dahāka's body, as it hindered the Heretic God from escaping.

Faster than one could blink, the Karmic Judgement Magic Array activated as several hundred golden Buddhas and Monks appeared around the entirety of the Array and released blinding golden holy light.

Holy chants could be heard from them, as they looked at the Aži Dahāka that was in the middle of the Magic Array. The Heretic God in question activated his strongest trump card, the Divine Authority of Avesta, in a split second as he used his "Another Cosmology" to negate the Karmic Judgment Magic Array.

Just as the Divine Authority of Avesta was activated, Aži Dahāka's six eyes suddenly narrowed in panic, as the manifestation of the "Another Cosmology" exploded in the skies below the Karmic Judgement Magic Array.

The Evil Nature of the Aži Dahāka made him extremely vulnerable to the effects of the Karmic Judgement Magic Array, as he was suffering rounds of internal destruction from the clash between the concepts of the Good and Evil within his body.

Which was part of the effects of the Karmic Judgement Magic Array, where a person's nature was "Judged" by the Magic Array itself. But it wasn't entirely true, as the Karmic Judgement Magic Array had the Karmic Position Reversal, where it would use the Negative Karma as a kind of fuel to judge the individual with the Negative Karma.

Basically, the more Negative Karma one had, the stronger the effects of the Karmic Judgement Magic Array would be on the individual.

Yakou, who was observing this happening from the side, knew that Aži Dahāka would soon enough recover and destroy the Magic Array.

Even though the Karmic Judgement Magic Array was fairly powerful, it was far from strong enough to contain something or someone that powerful like Aži Dahāka. But Yakou never planned for the Karmic Judgment Magic Array to finish Aži Dahāka; instead, he wanted the Evil God to experience and deal with the effects of the Magic Array.

Yakou, even after becoming Campione, fought like a proper Mage. He was never fond of meeting his enemies directly head-on in a single combat without any plans to be used against them.

Aži Dahāka, who was now suffering from the continuous attacks by the Karmic Judgment Magic Array, as the Magic Array was invented in a way that would use the target's power against the target.

Initially, the Karmic Judgment Magic Array was the last-ditch effort of the Eastern Magic Associations against the Heretic Gods, which were evil in nature, and was developed through the collective efforts of generations of Eastern Mages across Japan, China, India, Korea, and Southeast Asia.

Obviously, the Tsuchimikado Clan was one of the big contributors ot the Karmic Judgment Magic Array, and Yakou had access to the Array because it was recorded in the Tsuchimikado Grimoire that he was in possession of.

But... the requirements for the Karmic Judgment Magic Array were too harsh and effectively required Mana equal to the S-Rank to cast. Something that most of the Magic Associations wouldn't have the ability to do without very lengthy preparations and a lot of resources.

However, this was a problem that Yakou didn't have, because his own Mana was at the S+-Rank, and Huginn and Munnin managed to scavenge a lot from the previous ritual site used by the cultists from the Order of the Ninth Demon.

In fact, Yakou never really thought that he would have need for the Karmic Judgment Magic Array for apparent reasons. Yet, he leanred howw to cast it anyways, as it was part of the Clan's Legacy that his predecessors deemed to be significant enough to be recorded within the Family Grimoire.

Aži Dahāka, unable to deal with the Karmic Judgement Magic Array, used his second trump card, the Divine Authority of Khvarenah. In a split second, all three of his heads spewed out an enormous amount of Lightning-Flame toward the Karmic Judgment Magic Array as the entire ground lit up on fire, and the heat in a region of several kilometers was absolutely unbearable.

Upon the appearance of Khvarenah, the world-ending flames, the Karmic Judgement Magic Array burned to oblivion as Aži Dahāka's three heads suddenly turned toward the direction where Yakou was standing, because the Evil Heretic God realized that he had been careless.

The Campione was standing there, some distance from him, because he needed to void the Divine Authority of Khvarenah as the World Ending Flames would burn him to cinders if he was hit directly.

Only his spear was missing from his hand.

The left head looked down as the Spear of Heaven, Gungnir, was piercing his heart through and through. Even though Gungnir lacked overwhelming destructive prowess or special abilities, it was still capable of injuring Divine Beings.

Even though it lacked powerful offensive capabilities, the One Sure Hit Ability was everything that Yakou needed, even if the ability itself could be used only once per day. The intention of casting the Karmic Judgement Magic Array through Huginn and Munnin was never to seriously injure Aži Dahāka.

Because he knew that whatever injuries the Magic Array would do to the Evil Heretic God, with his regeneration, Aži Dahāka would overcome it in mere moments. No... Yakou's true goal was to force Aži Dahāka to use Khvarenah, so he would focus on summoning Eschatology, and he could use Gungnir to target the Draconic Demon God.

All three of his heads looked at the Campione before him, as their eyes narrowed and blood leaked from their mouths.

Yet, the central head grinned as he outstretched his right hand as an inexplicable feeling took over Yakou, which he couldn't really describe, but he knew that it was something bad that was happening right now, and at the same time...

He couldn't even defend against it.
