After seeing Kaguya's murderous expression the night before, Rin had managed to stall her by promising to meet Chika today. If it were anyone else, he might worry about a "system baby," but with Chika... he could guess what was happening. Karen had gone through something similar.
Rin arrived at the café early and found a quiet booth. Kaguya had wanted to come, but Ai had warned her that being too clingy would make her annoying.
Soon, a suspicious figure in a cap, sunglasses, and mask slipped in and sat opposite him. Chika scanned the room before removing her disguise. She looked haggard and miserable. Rin wanted to laugh but kept a straight face. He didn't plan to tell her the truth yet—not until a doctor confirmed she wasn't pregnant.
"I'm pregnant. The baby is yours," Chika said immediately, staring into his eyes.
"Are you serious? This isn't a joke?"
Rin feigned shock. But he wasn't the only one shocked. In the booth directly behind Chika, another pink-haired girl froze. Moeha Fujiwara—Chika's younger sister—stared into space, her blue eyes wide.
Moeha had suspected Chika was seeing someone and had planted a tracker on her. She'd followed her sister today, expecting to find a secret boyfriend, but this was a bombshell.

Moeha strained to listen as the two continued in hushed tones.
"How could I joke about this?!" Chika hissed.
"I see... but what does your pregnancy have to do with me?"
