The two Travelers thought about the consequences of targeting an Ultraman...
Hiss...
Even if they had a way to deal with Natsuki, how would they handle the whole crowd of Ultras behind him?
The Land of Light was famously protective. Hit the young one and the old one immediately shows up. Beat that old one, and an even older one might appear next.
Can't afford to provoke. Can't afford to provoke.
Better let someone more stubborn try.
Either way, they'd never dare oppose an Ultraman again in this lifetime. Those guys really would punish you for invasion.
"Mr. Natsuki, how do you plan to transport them?" Albert asked, seeing the two completely deflate.
He knew this place was extremely far from the universe where the Land of Light existed. He didn't know how Natsuki, who lacked spatial abilities, would transport these two back.
"Simple." Natsuki raised his right wrist with the black bangle and smiled.
"That device can open space-time passages?" Albert asked curiously.
"Most likely."
"Most likely?"
Albert felt this sounded increasingly unreliable.
Then he watched Natsuki manually form a small light wheel. Blinding light and air pressure exploded in the cell.
"Wait, Mr. Natsuki!" Marshal Stacker saw this and quickly stopped him. "That'll tear down this base!"
He genuinely feared Natsuki would demolish the base with one slip.
"Don't worry, I'm experienced." Natsuki said seriously.
Then he pressed the light wheel against the bangle. Instantly they made contact, shooting out massive sparks. The sizzling sound was particularly grating.
"Wake up, Hikari!" he shouted at the bangle.
This was the only way he could actively contact Hikari from his end.
Though the scene was a bit violent, it was efficient.
While everyone in the cell covered their ears and backed away, the bangle reacted.
Large amounts of golden light particles surged from the bangle, looking ready to form a humanoid outline.
Seeing this, Natsuki dispersed the light wheel.
Hey, it worked.
"Lia... Natsuki!"
"Next time remember to contact me through normal means!" Hikari appeared holding his forehead in frustration.
Back in the Land of Light, he'd been about to rest when suddenly the preset emergency communication came through, startling him awake. Upon connecting, he heard the harsh sound of an Ultra Slash violently sawing the bangle.
Nearly drove him crazy.
"Haha... sorry, sorry." Seeing his state, Natsuki scratched his head apologetically.
He genuinely hadn't expected Hikari to be resting.
"But you also never told me how to contact you through normal means."
"I tried everything—this method was just most efficient."
Natsuki realized Hikari hadn't told him the contact method at all. This really wasn't his fault.
"...Fine." Hikari fell silent for two seconds and sighed.
Initially he'd wanted Natsuki fully focused on the mission, so he hadn't told Natsuki how to contact him.
But now they both knew this mission's special nature. No need to be like before.
"Inject energy at this frequency into the crystal at the bangle's center. That'll reach me." Hikari extended his hand, releasing a stream of energy to demonstrate.
"I see." Natsuki understood at a glance.
Then quickly moved to the main topic.
"Let me explain my situation first." Natsuki gestured for Hikari to look at the people in the cell. "These three are the outsiders I mentioned before..."
Natsuki relayed the current situation to Hikari, including how he'd eliminated the invaders called Precursors, captured two Travelers, and had one Traveler who'd switched to his side.
Intelligence-wise, he told Hikari everything he knew.
Hikari listened and even chatted with Albert for a bit.
Finally he nodded. "I understand."
"Imprisoning them in the space prison is simple, but... the follow-up investigation will require more effort from you."
"The Commander's meaning is also hoping you can continue the mission."
The Commander's thinking matched Hikari's—both hoped to entrust the follow-up mission to Natsuki.
Natsuki wasn't surprised.
"Alright."
This type of mission didn't require high combat ability. Instead it needed an experienced veteran like him. Letting those younger members with overwhelming power but simple minds execute the mission might lead to unexpected incidents.
Space Garrison members with equal qualifications to Natsuki all had their own missions. This mission wasn't particularly important to the Land of Light.
"Additionally, for safety's sake, I'll unlock some of the bangle's combat functions, similar to the Ultra Bracelet." Hikari said to Natsuki.
This world was indeed safe, but they couldn't say what future worlds would be like.
"Currently you can only use basic functions, but as your telekinesis level improves, you'll be able to use more and more functions."
"Oh?"
Hearing this, Natsuki looked at the bangle on his right wrist. He hadn't expected this thing wasn't simply an auxiliary tool.
"Got it. Just like the Ultra Bracelet."
He was too familiar with the Ultra Bracelet—used to play with it often when he was young.
Back when Jack went to Earth for a mission, he'd suggested bringing the bracelet. Jack didn't, and predictably ran into trouble. In the end Seven made a trip to deliver it to Jack.
Hikari nodded.
Then he tapped several points on his own arm. Natsuki's wrist bangle immediately reacted.
Simultaneously, azure light points emerged from the bangle's diamond-shaped crystal like stars, forming a portal under Hikari's operation.
"Send them in." Hikari told Natsuki.
This was just his projection, not his actual body, so Natsuki had to do this step.
"This is a portal that can cross universes?" Marshal Stacker saw this scene, his eyes full of shock.
Land of Light technology—truly terrifying.
"Thump thump!" After the portal opened, Leiman and Quek wanted to say something, but suddenly felt pain in their butts as Natsuki kicked them both through.
"Alright, these two are in your hands. Have the space prison confirm receipt soon." Natsuki dusted off his hands.
Right after he sent them through, Albert had a reaction.
"Mr. Natsuki, I also need to leave." Albert said after discovering the system had begun settlement. His body was already disappearing from the hair on his head down.
"I'll be waiting for you in future worlds. Of course, if we're lucky... perhaps we'll meet again in the very next world."
Then he looked at Marshal Stacker and handed him a small box.
"We all know cancer is irreversible, but these medicines can help you hold on longer. At least... let you accompany your child as they grow up healthy."
