Chapter 130 - Chapter 130: The Eldest Sister, Zhu Zhuyun

Chapter 130: The Eldest Sister, Zhu Zhuyun

Qi Tian's operation went smoothly—without the slightest ripple.

As for Zhu Zhuqing, she joined Qi Tian's group under the pretense of searching for her missing fiancé, raising no suspicion at all.

With Zhu Zhuqing by his side, Qi Tian, disguised as Dai Mubai, kept his usual lustful behavior in check. He remained controlled throughout the journey and headed straight for Star Luo City.

He had the Sea-Calming Pearl and could travel back and forth at will. As long as he left Zhu Zhuqing here to cultivate, he could return anytime.

So he didn't bother visiting Dai Mubai's residence. Once he returned to the familiar Star Luo City, Qi Tian moved directly into Zhu Zhuqing's home.

He hadn't even warmed the seat when Zhu Zhuqing's older sister arrived.

She looked at Zhu Zhuqing with a wounded expression, as if she had been deceived. "My dear sister, is this what you told me before? Why have you come back?"

Zhu Zhuyun clearly remembered—more than two years ago, her little sister had claimed she was leaving to travel, no longer participating in the struggle for the throne.

Yet now she had returned—bringing "Dai Mubai" with her.

Did this mean she and "Dai Mubai" were stepping back into the competition?

Had Zhu Zhuqing fooled her from the start?

Zhu Zhuqing was about to explain, but Qi Tian stopped her.

Qi Tian smiled. "Elder sister, the struggle between us is a tradition passed down for countless generations in the Star Luo Empire. Zhuqing and I have no choice."

"Or is my elder sister afraid? Afraid that you and Dai Weisi can't win against Zhuqing and me?"

Zhu Zhuyun frowned. She felt that "Dai Mubai" was getting a bit too full of himself.

"So Zhuqing really lied to me? All that talk about changing the Zhu family's fate… just an excuse for her to run away from the Star Luo Empire?"

Zhu Zhuyun felt betrayed. And hearing this "Dai Mubai" spout such arrogance made her want to teach him a lesson.

"With just you two? I don't even need Dai Weisi. I can defeat both of you myself!" Zhu Zhuyun snapped.

The contest for the throne forbade underhanded methods, but duels and sparring were perfectly allowed—after all, they helped sharpen their strength.

"Oh? Then does elder sister want to test that against me?" Qi Tian smiled.

"Hmph, test then!" Zhu Zhuyun had been looking for a punching bag, and Dai Mubai was perfect.

She activated her martial soul. After two years apart, she had become more mature; her long white legs were even more slender and shapely.

Her cultivation had also broken through the fortieth rank—she was now a four-ring Soul Ancestor.

"Where is your martial soul? Why don't you dare show it?" Zhu Zhuyun asked.

Qi Tian chuckled and used his disguise skill to manifest the White Tiger martial soul—but it was a hollow shell without its true abilities.

"Hmph, a mere thirty-something rank and you dare boast?" Zhu Zhuyun scoffed.

She blurred into a black shadow, charging in. A storm of claw-shadows formed from her soul power, slashing toward Qi Tian.

Just as her attack reached him, Qi Tian used his body martial soul's enhanced perception and physical strength to grab her wrist in an instant.

His powerful physique—tempered by his body martial soul—and his fifty-eight-rank soul power allowed him to subdue her effortlessly.

Zhu Zhuyun felt as if her hand had been caught in an iron clamp—completely immobile.

She immediately raised her other hand in a claw strike, aiming for Qi Tian, only to have it captured as well.

To keep her from thrashing around, Qi Tian simply pulled her into his arms.

Two years ago, he had used Zhu Zhuqing's body to see Zhu Zhuyun completely unclothed.

While treating her injuries, the two had even had skin-to-skin contact. There wasn't a single inch of her body that he wasn't familiar with.

Remembering those moments, Qi Tian couldn't help feeling his heart stir—this was his sister-in-law, after all. A bit thrilling.

"Let me go!" Zhu Zhuyun felt her martial soul nearly collapse from his overwhelming strength.

"Elder sister, well? Do you concede?" Qi Tian asked.

An agility-type battle soul master caught by a power-type battle soul master rarely met a good end—and Zhu Zhuyun knew it well.

So at this point, she had essentially lost.

"You're clearly only at Soul Elder level. How do you have such terrifying strength?" Zhu Zhuyun demanded.

She had sparred with Dai Weisi before. She knew perfectly well how strong the White Tiger martial soul was.

Even Dai Weisi, without using White Tiger Vajra Transformation, didn't have strength like this.

Qi Tian said, "That's my secret. But if elder sister wants to know… I can tell you."

"What secret?" Zhu Zhuyun asked—and immediately sensed something was wrong. She realized she was being teased.

Feeling Qi Tian's burning body pressed against hers, and hearing the tone in his voice, she finally understood.

'This lecher… he dares flirt with his future sister-in-law!'

Through her spies in Dai Mubai's guard, Zhu Zhuyun already knew his true nature.

Dai Mubai loved women, especially twins or sisters.

Suddenly, Zhu Zhuyun's heart skipped a beat. He likes sisters… is he planning to make me and Zhuqing serve the same husband?

In Suo Tuo City, he sought out pairs of sisters—was he treating them as substitutes for her and Zhuqing?

Disgust washed over her. She hadn't even reached that level with Dai Weisi yet—how could this man take advantage of her?

Even if "Dai Mubai" only thought about it, that was still a crime!

"You let go of me right now!" Zhu Zhuyun struggled.

"If elder sister admits defeat, I'll let you go," Qi Tian said while holding her.

Though not as cold as her younger sister, Zhu Zhuyun was also a competitive Zhu family woman. How could she admit defeat so easily?

"Zhuqing! Aren't you going to control Dai Mubai?!"

Qi Tian turned toward Zhu Zhuqing and saw she wasn't showing any disgust. Only then did he breathe a sigh of relief and loosen his hold on Zhu Zhuyun.

He had gotten carried away and forgotten to consider Zhu Zhuqing's feelings.

"Hmph, just you wait!" Zhu Zhuyun straightened her rumpled clothes and fled from Zhu Zhuqing's house.

Qi Tian watched her leave, unconcerned. He wanted her to bring reinforcements.

Only after Zhu Zhuyun disappeared did Qi Tian withdraw his gaze. When he turned around, he saw Zhu Zhuqing wearing a faint, teasing smile.

"Ahem—Zhuqing, it's getting late. Let's rest. We have to make up for the cultivation time we lost these past few days!"

"First, change back to your own appearance," Zhu Zhuqing said.

When alone with Qi Tian, she was no longer as cold as before—she had the warmth of a normal person.

In truth, her heart burned hotter than most women's, and she was very clingy.

Qi Tian scanned the surroundings to ensure no one was watching, then released the disguise.

After using this soul skill for so long, he felt like it had been carved into his bones.

"This appearance is still the best," Zhu Zhuqing said.

Qi Tian smiled, studying her expression, trying to see if she was angry—but she was still the same ice-beauty as always.

"Qi Tian, why don't you take my sister as well? What do you think?" Zhu Zhuqing suddenly said.

"Ah?" Qi Tian froze. What does she mean by that? Trying to trap me?

His relationships with Ah Yin, Bibi Dong, Ning Rongrong, and the others were a by-product of possession—forced circumstances that created attachment or possessiveness.

But he had nothing of that sort with his sister-in-law. Would Zhu Zhuqing really allow it?

"Zhuqing, don't joke around. I'm not actually Dai Mubai—I don't go around chasing sisters."

Zhu Zhuqing looked at him seriously. "I'm not joking."
