"Not much further left, we're almost out," I remarked, as we reached the first floor of the Dungeon.
We'd made it back pretty fast, moving at a fairly brisk pace. I still feel pretty uneasy, I really hope it's nothing and I'm just being paranoid.
"You know, we couldn't made it down a lot faster it you let me blast through," Ciel sighed wistfully.
"Yeah, no, we couldn't risk caving ourselves in," I responded with a sigh.
I swear, she's like a broken record sometimes, I-...huh, I wonder what that phrase actually means? I mean, I know it's used in the context when someone repeats themselves often, but now that I think about it...what exactly is a broken record?
A record of what? And if something's broken, doesn't that mean it won't work? Shouldn't it be something like malfunctioning record instead? Or maybe looping record?
