Brid gritted his teeth as his arm hit the ground with a thud, wisps of smoke billowing out of the stump left around his arm, before rapidly spinning around as Acedia shot past him.
As Acedia turned around and began to lunge forward, Brid swiftly raised the smoking stump, the bones regrowing rapidly towards Acedia's head, grazing the left side of his jaw as he quickly tilted his head across to the right.
Acedia sprang back as Brid tightened his grip on the handle of his hammer in his left hand, his arm suddenly bulking up as he whipped it up towards Acedia's head, narrowly missing his snout as Acedia backed away before firing out a powerful, concentrated burst of lightning towards Brid from his hand.
