His eyes had opened, but he kept the bed covers over his body that was about to shiver from the huge change of temperature. Noting the lack of his Magical Beast Girl's presence next to him in the bedroom, he groaned and then slowly sat up, still covering himself as his mind came to terms of the current date.
"Christmas, huh? Why would it suddenly get so cold on Christmas Day, damn it?" he muttered under his breath.
It was December 25th, and the news from the day before had predicted snow to fall today. As the young man got up and walked towards the window sill that was near him, he pulled back the curtains to view the scenery that was outside of the beach house.
