The Nap-One descended steadily through the dark deep sea.
This was ten thousand meters underwater.
No light, no sound, only the heavy, reassuring flow of seawater beyond the bubble coating.
The flagship's soundproofing was impeccable, pushing the deep sea's "silence" to its absolute extreme.
Captain's Cabin
Renzo lay wrapped in a blanket on the custom-made recliner facing the porthole, breathing evenly.
He enjoyed this almost meditative relaxation, the perfect nap environment, something even G-5 headquarters couldn't offer.
"Waa…"
Kizaru was affected by the atmosphere as well. Holding a cup of hot tea, he spoke even slower and quieter than usual:
"This is even quieter than my office~."
Monet, wearing gold-rimmed glasses, sat quietly in a corner reading materials about Fish-Man Island. She gently refilled the two big shots' teacups without making a single sound.
The entire cabin was peaceful and warm.
Except for one discordant sound source.
"Mermaid lady… mermaid lady…"
At the other end of the room, Sanji was pressed tightly against the window.
His eyes had turned into rapidly spinning hearts, his breathing heavy. He looked like a pressure cooker about to explode, releasing pink "steam."
Behind him, Rehn stood with arms crossed, eyes closed.
He looked like he was resting, but his Observation Haki already covered the entire room.
He wasn't monitoring the deep sea.
He was precisely locked onto Sanji's vocal cords and nasal passages.
'This curly-brow cook… emotional fluctuations too intense… 90% probability he will produce high-decibel noise upon seeing mermaids…'
'Lord Renzo's divine nap must not be disturbed.'
Rehn's eyes stayed shut, yet faint arcs of electricity already danced across his chubby fingers.
As the chief attendant, he had to eliminate all "noise sources" before they appeared.
In this strange balance, the Nap-One sailed for several hours.
Gradually, a light appeared in the endless darkness ahead.
The roots of the Sunlight Tree Eve carried sunlight down ten thousand meters beneath the sea.
At the center of that light floated a gigantic bubble, as vast as a kingdom.
They had arrived at Fish-Man Island.
"Oh my looks like we're here~," Kizaru said, putting down his tea.
Renzo's eyelids twitched as if waking.
But just as the ship approached the giant bubble.
"Hmm?"
Rehn's eyes snapped open.
Besides Sanji, his Haki detected a new noise source.
Ahead of the ship, several massive sea beasts blocked the path. On their backs stood grotesque fish-men.
"Kekeke! Look! Another human ship!"
"Is it a noble's vessel? It's huge!"
"Doesn't matter! Humans are our prey! For the glory of the New Fish-Man Pirates, sink it!!!"
A shark-type fish-man raised his trident, preparing to ram the Nap-One.
They were shouting… right outside the god's bedroom.
Inside the cabin:
"Lord Renzo," Monet began, "armed individuals have blocked-"
"…Noisy."
Renzo frowned.
Even this faint disturbance had woken him.
"Lord Renzo."
Rehn's steady voice sounded. He had already appeared beside the main console as if teleporting.
He bowed slightly, smiling confidently.
"Please continue resting. A few flies have come buzzing."
"Your subordinate will conduct… sanitation cleaning."
Renzo paused mid-yawn and glanced at him.
"…Mm."
Permission granted.
Rehn's smile vanished instantly, replaced by absolute zero-degree coldness.
His chubby hands slammed onto the special alloy hull.
"In the name of Lord Renzo's sleep…"
His voice sounded like a whisper from hell:
"All noise… shall be silenced."
"God's Silence."
No flashy technique.
He simply released the billions-volt power of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit… through the Nap-One's massive metal hull… all at once.
"Men! Charge! Crush these inferior humans-"
The shark fish-man's shouting abruptly stopped.
There was no thunder, sound cannot travel properly in the deep sea.
Instead, light.
Centered on the Nap-One, a radius of several thousand meters became a lightning hell.
The white flagship turned into a blue sun.
The terrifying current spread through seawater, the perfect conductor.
The New Fish-Man Pirate grunts and their sea beasts… couldn't even scream.
Within 0.001 seconds of contact, their bodies weren't merely charred.
They were disintegrated into fundamental particles.
Not even blood remained.
After a brief low vibration from the sudden energy release…
Silence returned.
Outside the window, the "noise sources" and their mounts had vanished completely.
Kizaru pushed up his glasses.
'My, what a clean… "spring cleaning." This kid's mastery of the Goro Goro… has reached this level already… terrifying youngster.'
Rehn exhaled a breath and returned to his harmless appearance.
He bowed again.
"Lord Renzo, the flies have been cleared. You may continue resting."
"…Good work."
Renzo finally finished the interrupted yawn.
"Monet. Continue forward. Pass through the bubble."
"Y-Yes!"
The Nap-One approached Fish-Man Island's massive bubble.
"Entering the first water membrane…"
"Breaking through the second entry membrane!"
Like piercing a giant soap bubble.
The flagship passed through.
Weightlessness vanished, and the ship floated… in air.
Light, gentle, dreamy light, filled the cabin.
Before them lay the fairy-tale-like Ryugu Kingdom.
Colorful coral reefs formed cities. Huge schools of fish swam through sky-like waterways. Countless bubbles carried fish-men and merfolk up and down.
"What a spectacular sight~," Kizaru said at the window.
"…Not bad," Renzo replied lazily.
Sanji, however froze.
He saw it.
Below the Nap-One…
At the Mermaid Café…
Groups of beautiful mermaids were waving at him.
"Me…"
"Mermaid…"
"Mermaid ladies…"
His body began trembling violently.
Rehn's Haki locked onto him again.
Not good.
He's about to scream.
Just before Rehn could physically silence him-
PSSH!!!
Sanji didn't scream.
Instead, a fire-hydrant-level torrent of nosebleed erupted.
A blissful smile appeared on his handsome face.
Thud.
He collapsed.
Severe blood loss. Happiness-induced unconsciousness.
"…"
"…"
"…"
"Tch."
Renzo pulled up his blanket, face full of disgust.
"So noisy…"
"Rehn."
"Yes!"
"Throw him… into the infirmary."
"Understood!"
Rehn smiled, grabbed Sanji by the ankle like a sack, and dragged him away humming.
The Nap-One slowly cruised through the dreamlike kingdom… searching for a harbor to dock.
