After the deal with Aurora, we returned to our shelter where I spent the rest of the day in a meditative position in my room.
In front of me, a very large map hovered, displaying every single person in the grove as small blue dots.
With my feathers scattered all around the entire grove, I could hear the voices of people in my head.
However, I tuned out the voices to focus on just the presence of six people. Four were boys while the other two were girls.
Two of the boys were in the merchants' area buying supplies. A boy and a girl were sitting in the ashen campground, talking about something irrelevant. One boy had just finished urinating by a tree in the forest section, while the last girl was whistling as she trained alone outside her shelter in the barracks.
I could see them clearly because four of my ravens were stationed nearby, acting as my eyes.
I ordered my ravens to keep watching them… until night came.
