Chapter 167 - Chapter 167: Destroyer Armor Tidbits

"Without Odin's perception."

"This is the breath of freedom!"

Hela closed her eyes, spread her arms, and dramatically breathed in the air within the Dream.

Michael, with his sharp eyes, noticed that a small whirlwind was even stirred in the bridge by Hela's breathing. "This is Hela, the Goddess of Death from the Asgardian pantheon. Record her identity."

Michael said this to White.

"How is it? Have you tasted the flavor of freedom?"

Michael said this to Hela.

"Understood, sir. Recorded!"

White responded.

"Of course!"

Hela opened her eyes, her gaze filled with gratitude towards Michael. "To feel freedom again, that sensation, it's as if the entire Universe has been purified!"

"As long as you're satisfied!"

Michael nodded, "You can rest well for a few days, enjoy yourself for a few days, and then help me bring back the Soul Stone!"

"Don't worry!"

Hela rolled her eyes at Michael, suspecting he was a straight-laced man. "Adhering to the spirit of the contract, I will bring back the Soul Stone you need!"

"Where are you planning to go?"

Hela's eyes shifted, observing the sci-fi-filled bridge. "Is this your spaceship?"

"Of course!"

Michael smiled happily, "I built this with my own hands. I named it the Dream!"

"Thousands of years ago, I personally blew up countless spaceships!"

Hela rolled her eyes. It's just a spaceship; what's so special? The Universe has no shortage of them! Michael glanced at Hela but didn't say much. Should he throw this guy into space and let her see how much bigger the Dream was in size compared to the spaceships she had cut down?

..."Our destination this time is Destination One, the Polar Star Territory."

As a temporary ally, Michael didn't hide anything from Hela, though there wasn't much to hide anyway. "The Nine Realms are not suitable for development. I plan to explore around and find a territory."

"Haha, is it because you offended Odin?"

Hela laughed heartily, seemingly understanding why Michael would leave the Nine Realms. Similarly, a deep killing intent flashed in Hela's eyes—killing intent directed at Odin.

"Not entirely!"

Seeing Hela's expression, Michael changed his tune. "Alright, perhaps there's a bit of that reason!"

"Although I really can't defeat him when he's wearing the Destroyer Armor, I'm not afraid of him either!"

Michael shrugged, "I just feel that to develop my own power, the Nine Realms isn't the place."

Just think about what Earth will go through: various Dimension bosses, Galactus from the Main Universe, the Purple Sweet Potato who wants to snap his fingers and plow the land, and Interstellar Pirates constantly eyeing Earth.

And so on, and so forth! With so many powerful figures eyeing Earth, who the hell would develop their own power on Earth?! In fact, during this trip to the Nova Empire, Michael even learned that Earth was also coveted by a Cosmic Elder. Oh, and there's also a spherical God secretly observing it!

With so many factions and powerful individuals fixated on Earth, it would be abnormal if Earth didn't have any troubles! Michael would certainly lay out his plans on Earth, and he would also participate in, or even monopolize, the division of certain things on Earth someday in the future!

But now is not the time! Michael still needs time to develop, and Michael's power also needs time to grow.

However, Earth's meager resources, and even the Solar System where Earth is located, are not enough for Michael to even glance at.

The resources needed to cultivate the kind of... massive super Universe fleet Michael envisioned before are not something... a mere Solar System can support.

Just one Universe fortress would have to be as big as a planet, and to defend one's territory, how could just one Universe fortress be enough? Add to that a massive fleet of Universe battleships, and even draining all the resources of the Solar System wouldn't be enough!

..."Hmph!"

Upon hearing Michael's words, Hela's expression turned cold again. "The Destroyer Armor was a super battle armor forged by Odin with the blessings of all the pantheons across the entire Nine Realms. It inherently possesses the incredible ability to elevate the user by one major rank! When Odin wears it, he can temporarily reach Single Universe Level power! Let alone your current self, even if you advance once more, you still won't be able to defeat him!"

"That hypocritical fellow, how many... benefits did he promise other Gods back then to forge this armor? The result was that as soon as the Destroyer Armor was completed, he immediately turned hostile. How many... Gods died in that God war! The entire Nine Realms probably hasn't recovered even now!"

Hela's face was filled with mockery and hatred.

"Wasn't that thing forged to fight against the Gods?"

Hearing Hela's words, Michael's expression was utterly astonished. What's going on? How did this plot take such a huge turn? Could the butterfly effect be at work again? "Gods?"

Hela scoffed, "Indeed! Odin did claim to be building the Destroyer Armor to fight against the Gods. But in reality, since the God-King before Odin, no God has ever been seen. So how could he fight against the Gods?"

"After that God War, these Gods, who had been missing for at least a hundred thousand years, really took on a huge blame!"

Hela cackled sinisterly.

That's not necessarily true! At least... Star-Lord is... a Half-God, and his father is a true God, though the most useless kind among Gods...! However, the story Hela told made him wince a bit. He never expected Odin to have such a side! Indeed, history is written by the victors! Just like the current murals and history of Asgard! ..."Alright, don't think so much."

Michael shook his head, too lazy to bother with Asgard's old troubles. Well, mainly because he didn't have the strength to deal with them right now. "Why think about... unpleasant things? Since you're out of the seal, think more about good things!"

Michael smiled, "For example, come with us to the Polar Star Territory for some fun."

"Oh."

Hela's attention was indeed diverted. "The Polar Star Territory... I think I have some impression of it."

"Let me think..."

"Isn't that... that garbage Star Territory where all resources are ordinary, where it can't develop without external help, and which even Interstellar Pirates are too lazy to visit?"

"Are you going there to scout for retirement?"

Hela looked at Michael with a shocked expression.

Michael: ...Dead fish eyes glaring!
