After Scholar Chen's emotional call ended, Emily felt both drained and energized. The stories about her parents had given her new resolve, but now it was time to shift from emotion to strategy.
Timothy called an all-hands meeting in the penthouse's main living room. Within thirty minutes, Sebastian and Jack arrived in person, laptops and tablets in hand. Ming Li sat on the floor with Thor, ostensibly ready to take notes but mostly feeding the dog treats.
"Switzerland in four days," Timothy said, pulling up a presentation on the large screen. "We have ninety-six hours to prepare for the most important trip of Emily's life. Let's break down everything we need to accomplish."
Scholar Chen joined via secure video conference, his silhouette visible on a second screen.
"I'll start with Clara Mueller," Scholar Chen said, pulling up a comprehensive dossier. "Because understanding her is critical to this mission's success."
