Keifer POV
She forgot her whole evil past . Ram , Jason and Sato.
And now here she is sitting beside me at the passanger seat watching out of the window excitedly . We are heading towards her house to get her luggage. đ§ł
Yes , her luggage. I don't know why but Angelo told me to bring her to my house, she will stay with me for one or two weeks.
I am happy that she will stay with me at my house but I need to talk to Angelo and know the reason behind this.
I didn't even knew when did we arrived her house, maybe I was so busy in my thoughts .... as well as admiring my Jay, my Mrs . Watson .
We stepped outside the car and as we entered her house, we were greeted by her family, and yes the most chaotic Section E, but Yuri wasn't here.
Her whole family hugged her. After meeting us , she went upstairs to pack her luggage with her mom and tita . And Section E left .
And I got the time to ask Angelo the reason. He was sitting with Aries in the backyard, I went to them and asked the reason.
Aries joined in ," I also wanted to know Kuya, why did you agreed to send Jay to his house? Can you trust him with Jay?"
I raised an eyebrow," Trust me with Jay ? What do you want to say?"
He crossed his arms," I mean you meet sometime and actually at school , And you have already kissed her more than 9-10 times . Who knows what will you do when she will stay with you at your home ? "
I spoke ," You ... " Angelo interrupted," Stop, you two. This is my house not your battleground."
We stopped . It doesn't matter how strong I become but still some part of me is still afraid of him.
He continued," Some weeks before when someone attacked Yuri, Jay found a list of some people there . She told me about the list . I did some research, thne I got to know that it was a hitlist and Yuri had to complete the list to get back his mother and his clan and inheritance."
He paused," And you are the part of the hitlist and Jay knows this but I don't know if she remembers this now ." Me and Aries looked at each other confused ," then I got to know that not only you but Jay is also a part of the hitlist." My fist clenched.
" That's why I agreed to send her with you , because you know that Yuri stays here , so she is in danger here . We can keep an eye on Yuri in morning or evening but at night ." Boss said .
I promised," I will try my best to protect her ".
" But why will Yuri want to kill Jay , he loves her , right ?" Aries raised an eyebrow " That's why he even arranged an engagement with her ."
Angelo said ," Yes , he loves her . But he had been ordered by his elders to kill Jay because she disobeyed them . He also want to take his revenge from Keifer . So according to him , whether he will kill Keifer, due to his revenge and so that Jay will come back to him , or he will kill Jay , so that you will be broken from inside ." pointing towards me .
Now , I think I can feel how it feels being betrayed by best friend. Jay , I know how you felt when you got to know about the plan .
Yuri , why'd you do this ?
Jay POV
I packed my things and went outside to find Keifer. He was sitting with Kuya Angelo and Aries. Both of them were looking at Kuya like he was giving an important lecture .
I crossed my arms ," Keifer , Aries , Kuya Angelo."
They froze like they just saw a ghost .
" Jay , what are you doing here and how long have you been standing there?" Kuya asked taking a step closer.
I took a step back ," I came to call you for lunch and I just came here now so I didn't listen to your talks , I don't even want to know . Let's go now ." I said raising my hands in a mock surrender.
I left and they all came behind me .
We sat on the table with Keifer on my right side. As we were going to eat , Yuri , Sir Alvin and Mam Cindy also came . They greeted us and ask whether I was okay .
" I am okay . " I replied đ
Yuri came and sat on my left side . And I could sense Keifer's side eye .
I could feel the tension growing . Is there something wrong between Keifer and Yuri ? And guess what here I am stuck between them.
Oh God ! Please save me from these two devils. Wait , devil . Aah , yes I think devil is right word for them .
" Jay , aren't you hungry ?" Tita snapped me out of my thoughts .
" Yes Tita." I stared eating too.
We all ate with little bit teasing, laughing . But I could feel Keifer and Yuri's eyes on me .
" I am done ." I stood up. " I am going to room to bring my bag ."
Keifer POV
Jay went upstairs.
" Why did Jay went to bring her bag ? Is she going somewhere?" Yuri asked .
" She is staying at Keifer's house for somedays ." Jay's mother spoke .
Yuri's face become unreadable. Offcourse, how will his plan work if Jay will not stay here .
Don't worry Jay, I will not let anything happen to you .
" Aries go and help Jay to bring her luggage ." Tita said .
He nodded and went to Jay's room .
Well only Angelo knows how did he convince Jay's mother and her tita to let her stay in my house .
Jay and Aries came down with two bags , actually two huge suitcases.
" Ready to go ." Angelo asked . Jay nodded happily.
Looks like she was more excited than me .
" Let's go ." I said
We exchanged our goodbyes and got settled in the car .
" Jay . " I broke the silence still focusing on the road .
" Hmm " She looked towards me .
" Are you happy?" I asked
" Offcourse, I am finally out of that hospital. " She said
" Well Keifer , do you know how did Kuya let me stay at your place ?"
" No , how would I know ." I lied . I can't let her know about the hitlist.
My hand reached for her hand . She hesitated but let me be .
Soon , we arrived my house , I mean our house . She was going to unbuckle the seatbelt but I was faster than her .
We moved out of the car and I took her luggage from the car . Those bags were heavy .
Did she put dumbells in these bags .
We entered the house , no one was there . Maids were off , Keigan was it his friends home and Keiren was sleeping in his room . It was silence
I went to kitchen and brought a glass of water for her .
She was sitting at the couch thinking something.
" Jay , what are you thinking?" I gave her glass .
She took it ," I was just remembering the last time I came here ."
" You destroyed my whole face that time ." I chuckled " You know what it still hurts sometime ."
She chuckled too ," Because I was angry at you that time ."
" Well you must be tired , let's go to our room ."
She nodded and followed me , but stopped at the stairs.
" What happened?" I worried.
" Did you just said our room ?" She said pointing towards me then at herself.
I laughed and put my hand on her shoulder ," Yes , our room . What's mine is yours ."
She looked towards me shocked , then smiled ," Let's go to our room ." She said stretching the word 'our' dramatically.
She is really affected by Percy . Isn't she ?
We entered the room . As I switched on the lights , Jay threw herself on the bed .
We talked for some time, then she went to bathroom and I went to guest room to change .
After changing to comfy clothes , actually just into vest and boxers . I came back to room .
She was still in bathroom. Do all girls take this much time while taking bath ? I opened my phone and started scrolling some reels on my phone , she spoke from the bathroom," Keifer are you there outside ? "
I responded," Yes , I am here . Do you want anything?"
" Could you please give me a shirt from my bag , I took one but it fell and it's wet ."
" Okay ." I opened her bag . And first thing I saw was .... snacks .
Huh snacks ! Why is she having snacks in her bag ? She can take the snacks from the kitchen .
" Keifer , fast ." She said .
" Which one do you want , there are many ? "
" Give me any one ."
I took a black colour shirt and knocked at the bathroom.
She opened it little and stretched her hand outside. It was filled with steam like she took a hot shower . I handed her the shirt and she closed it .
After some time, she came outside wearing that shirt with pajamas . But that shirt , I didn't noticed it before it was a crop shirt with a deep neck revealing her cleavage a little .
" Keifer stop staring at me . And you should wear something. " She covered her eyes .
I took a step closer ," I can't stop staring at you and I always wear these clothes while sleeping."
" But now you have to wear proper clothes . There is a girl staying at your place , Mr . Watson ." She took a step back .
I went more close to her , reducing the distance between us and she kept taking a step back until she was pinned to the wall .
" Jay, remove your hand from your eyes ." I placed both my hands on Jay's each side . Her body was too small infront of my body . She couldn't even reach my shoulder.
" I am not doing it , gago ." She cursed and with the realisation she removed her hands from her eyes and placed it on her mouth .
And a smirk framed on my mouth . đ And everyone knows what happened next ?
