Catherine had never looked at me with so much dread blazing through those gorgeous hazels of hers. They were broad, and her plump lips parted.
She's in shock, and she should be.
Just when I thought Catherine Lane wouldn't amaze me further, she pulls this off. I wonder how she could ward off my men and sneak into the room. I didn't know whether to praise her hiding skills or punish her.
She's been very bad, and my blood boiled for measure, my finger flexing on the trigger.
I wonder what's going through her pretty little head right now, her thoughts of me, and what she anticipates. I got my answer when she questioned me.
"A-Are you gonna kill me?"
Asking that question felt like an insult to my face, and I was ticked off but also entertained.
"I could... if you give me a reason."
I don't kill easily... death was considered a mercy for me, but in the end, Memento mori.
I've decided what I'm gonna do with her. Punishing a bad girl... hard.
