NARRATOR POV
"Come on, let's be quick about it, sis," a boy's voice rings out of a mountain. He sounded green, but he had had his own share of experiences in hardships, a teenager well dressed, who easily passed off as a noble. He ran through the forest while his sister, of the same age, followed behind him happily. They both ran in the forest as if the whole forest had a map in their head, laughing as they both chased the winds. "Brother, wait up!" The girl's cheerful voice rings out as she chases after her brother. As if the wind was involved in their joyous adventure, he picked up the pace, casting a shadow over them cause both of them to pause and take a look at the sky, but was met with a darkness so large that it swept over the entire forest. In a state of panic, both of them assumed a fighting stance, bracing for any unforeseen attack.
Ariel body jolts off the bed as he heard his father voice calling for him from the kitchen area, he rushed down to see his father packing food in a small bag well a storage bag to be precise, ariel stared at him with a blank expression before his body moved to catch the bag that was lounged at him "Get dressed" his father's voice caused his head to snap back up from his stare at the bag in his hands. "Where, father?" Ariel finally asked, his voice dry and straining from his rather intense night before, which now felt more like adream to him, "Out... For a long time," he finally added after a long pause, "Say goodbye to your mom, be quick and meet me downstairs," he continued as he walked towards the door. Areil reluctantly dragged his feet up the stairs to his parents' room. He carefully opened the door with a small push. Circe sat on the bed, slow tears sliding down her face as she sensed his presence in the room. She cleared her tears and ushered him inside. He dragged his feet gently as he got closer to her before coming to a halt at a distance.
"Dad said I should say goodbye, and he also said we will be gone for a long time, and I'm going to miss you mom" Ariel blurted out as fast as he could, while Circe only smiled at him. "You won't be gone forever, silly, you will come home and meet mother very soon, stay safe, Ariel, my son, and be sure to listen to your father.... And I will miss you too," she murmured in his hair as she pulled him in for a hug. After a little while, she let him go walking him outside the house while stating the essentials she placed in the storage bag for him and Ether. She gave him a last parting hug as she stared at Ether while he scratched his head awkwardly before they both set out on their journey.
