The station that got the footage was being bombarded by several other bigger news stations, wanting to buy the drone and the rights for it—of course, the station refused all offers. They knew exactly what they had, a golden goose.
Even if the creep died later on, they would still be earning money as people would visit their pages to view it again and again. After all, right now, this was the biggest news in the Game.
